AFC Pop Punk manager Paddy Mckeever today spoke of his delight at his teams victory over Yorkshires Amateurs
" Danlufc13 is a manager I hold in high regard and while his team is somewhat in transition they were still a very tough prospect, if they'd had a bit of luck it may very well have been us that lost"
He then went on to praise debutant Micah Richards for his contribution to a fine defensive performance in the 2-0 win.
"I know Micah well as he was a former player of mine from my time at Padston Villa and he was doing very well for AFC Stanley so I'm delighted to have got him and his performance proved I was right to get him. He oozed quality. I'm also very pleased with Virgil Beckham and Eric Cantona, they brought a bit of experience and class to our play and will be essential in bringing through the younger players at the club"
Mckeever had less kind words for Ike Dyer however.
"He proceeded to miss three chances in about three minutes and I'm expecting a lot better from him in the future, it was nice that he eventually scored but in this division he needs to start taking more of his chances as that will prove very important, my message to him is shape up or ship out!"
No silly jokes, no slating other managers and some astute purchases in the transfer market, whoever this guy is its certainly not the Paddy Mckeever we know!
*Paddy then ran back into the room, completely naked and proceeded to talk using his bottom as a face:
"I'm Cathal Brennan and I manage Bully Boys, we are the best team ever"
Paddy then ran off laughing, so maybe we were wrong but its nice to see him being a little more serious!
