Meelas finally got his hands on the RM Invitational trophy with a 2-0 home victory over Reggae Reggae Sauce. They showed no signs of pressure as they flew out of the blocks to take a fifth minute lead courtesy of a Fabricio Cidade strike in the penalty area. They nearly added a second goal through Nelson Queimado and Cidade as they laid siege to the visiting goal. Sauce did come back into the game to their credit but efforts from Terry Jenkins and Christiano Torres couldn’t find a way into the net. Paulino Ornelas cracked a volley off the woodwork before the home side finally added a second goal. A free-kick from Leonardo Borja was thundered into the net and the celebrations began in the stands. Cidade hit the bar but the half finished on a downer as both he and Juliano Leite had to be withdrawn through injuries. The second-half saw the home side play out the game with ease without really threatening to add to their tally. The whistle brought with it wild scenes on the pitch with Meelas claiming his side had ‘deservedly and comfortably’ won the title. They will look to add the cup to their trophy cabinet in the coming weeks before setting about defending their crown next season. RRS now have to rebuild in Division One following a bad end to the season but they will also welcome the relief a good cup run might bring, starting with a home match against Morley on Friday.
Santos FC’s dreams of the title were ended as they were held at home by Hun Haters. Despite having more of the ball and creating the better chances, Santos were to go in at the break behind. The damage was done by Ted Caird as he shot home in the penalty area after being released by Iain Emery on six minutes. Santos missed chances through Torbjorn Alshammar as they went in at the break 1-0 down. The second-half saw Santos press despite an injury to Adriano Ribeiro. Benicio Correa and Fredrick Winnerljung both missed late chances before Alshammar finally made one of his count with a classy finish in the area on 92 minutes. The point wasn’t enough to bring any joy to Santos but there was nothing they could have done with ThunderCats winning their game. Sean7 can now reflect on a super first season in the RM top division and look to go one better next term. After drawing with second-place Santos, Hun Haters will now look to defeat the new champions in the first round of the cup on Friday. Celticchris will then look to prepare his side for a return to the heady days of the first two seasons, following a struggle this time round.
AFC Stanley completed their impressive first season in the top league with a 1-1 home draw against Yorkshires Amateurs. Stanley enjoyed much the better of the first-half with several chances. Enrico Fuentes and Jeffrey Entwhistle saw efforts go close before they took the lead on 27 minutes. Amateurs defence had been forced to reshuffle following an injury to Raymond Simmons and they were left pointing the finger of blame at each other as Marcelino Montez shot home in the area following a corner. Amateurs, somewhat remarkably, would equalise with their first chance of the game. A corner was taken by Yogender Amarparm and Fred Franklin benefitted by poking the ball past Hessbo in goal. A powerfully curled shot by Kirk Armitage threatened to put Stanley back in front but the sides were destined to go in level at the interval. The second-half saw the game wind down with the sides looking ready for the cup season to start. Franklin might have won the game for the visitors but that would have been harsh on a good Stanley side. Markham33 will now enjoy a well-earned break and look forward to pushing his side onwards again during the fourth season of the RM Invitational leagues. Danlufc13 has said that ‘next season has to be better’ as he looks for the missing ingredient that will push his side into the top three.
Totaalvoetbal secured fourth-place in the RM Invitational with a 4-1 away success at St Omer. A fast start yielded no reward as Pierre van Diemen and Shivan Preetnav couldn’t convert chances while Luz got away with a poor back-pass. Omer, meanwhile, went and scored with their first chance of the half as Lucas Ravelli flicked a header past Leemans for the opening goal. Totaal recovered from this setback, though, and a powerful header from Preetnav levelled proceedings on 31 minutes. Horacio Metelo quickly put the visitors in front as he shot home after being put through by his midfield partner Johan Juffing. The second-half saw Jerry Hamshaw go off injured for the hosts before they squandered their only chance as Garry Stamps headed straight at Leemans. Totaal got control late in the half and Shirsh Vajpayee doubled their lead with a flicked header from a Metelo cross on 78 minutes. The victory was complete with another header as Metelo added his second goal of the game. The win saw Totaal move into fourth and Meeblind proclaim himself ‘satisfied with a season of restructure at the MVB.’ Omer and ConyTottee will be happy to see the end of phase one of their own rebuilding campaign and will look to be competitive in the cup following the upcoming change report.
AC Milan finished their season on a high with a 4-2 win at Tranmere in a game full of chances. Both sides enjoyed fine openings in the first 45 minutes but it was Milan who would take a lead into the half. Damian Tkacz gave them a headed lead on three minutes before Rovers suffered further pain with an injury to Uilliam Flanagan. Ron Aldinho didn’t help their cause as he shot home after a corner on 25 minutes to put Milan 2-0 up although Akinlabi Iwelumo did pull one back before half-time with a neat finish in the penalty area. Leroy Upson was the next Tranmere player to go off injured on 49 minutes as the second-half started unfortunately for the hosts. Victor Moses wasted a chance from the spot on 64 minutes for the visitors but they did manage to double their lead three minutes later courtesy of a Brando Pisano header. Cristian Campagnolo pulled one back from the spot as the chances continued to flow but Milan would seal the win on 76 minutes. Some fine approach play by Andrea Pirlo allowed Tkacz the opportunity to notch his second in the area to give Milan an impressive 4-2 win. Milan and MarkieRich will now look to add some defensive stability to a very good attacking side to make further progress next season. Tranmere and Baz are in a similar position and will also be looking to improve upon their 30-point campaign.
Marseille ended a season of turmoil with a 1-0 win over F.C. Greatness to hint at what might have been. Greatness will have counted themselves unlucky not to have taken an early lead as Martinus Benfari twice hit the woodwork in the first 18 minutes. Marseille responded to their good fortune by coming more into the game and Sid Peyton twice worried the Greatness backline before the half-time interval. Greatness thought they had taken the lead in the early stages of the second-half but some shirt pulling led to the goal being chalked off. This would be Greatness’ last attempt as Marseille seized the initiative. Ritchie Morgan would put them in front from a breakaway move and it would be a lead they would comfortably hold for the remainder of the game. What the future holds for Marseille remains to be seen but the undoubted potential is there. Darrencalvert, meanwhile, is looking forward to a positive change report before giving his charges a well-earned break before the start of season four. Whether they can make the step up to become title challengers is the next question awaiting his side as they deal with some key defensive retirements.

Division One Finale
West Brom Strollers completed their title winning season by going down 2-1 at Pahang United; a result which saw the hosts retain their Division One status. Things had started well for the champions as Bobby Taylor converted a penalty easily after four minutes. From this point on, though, it was to be all Pahang as they set about the Strollers with great passion as they sought to avoid relegation. They had already threatened to equalise by the time Franck Saur shot home in the penalty area on eleven minutes. Further chances arrived in the first-half with Avishai Beniesh hitting the point of post and bar. The second-half continued in the same fashion as they took the lead on 54 minutes. Jeremias Lindeman rose highest to head past Godden and give Pahang a season-saving lead. Despite an injury to Boris Richert they never looked like giving up their advantage and, indeed, could have added further goals through Benjamin Johannsen and Holger Pfitzner. West Brom’s unsuccessful evening ended on a downer when Bryan Robson finished his season being helped off. The result will give Pahang a fresh chance at Division One success next season and they will go into their cup match with Belly Tubbies in good heart. West Brom and player of the season, Darren Moore, take their title winning side into the cup in confident mood despite the defeat and Dinkydave will be hoping to add further silverware to the cabinet in the coming weeks.
New York City finished the season in second after a 5-1 thumping of Goals Aloud. Both sides would score early goals as Shinosuke Isimaru gave the visitors a lead with a shot in the penalty area before a Frank Nyberg penalty levelled matters. City took control from this point on, though, as they cut open their hosts at will. Elvis MacCaran put them back in front on 24 minutes, finishing well in the area, before they put in a dominating second-half display. Rufus Bignell carried on the fine work on 53 minutes with a sumptuous free-kick which left Butcher stranded and Lukas Buhr completed a breakaway move on 58 minutes to extend the lead to 4-1. An injury to Graham Rush didn’t help the Aloud cause for the final ten minutes as they had to survive with 10-men. This proved beyond them as City added a fifth goal on 84 minutes courtesy of a Henk van Huijksloot header. Despite finishing in second Jimmy was already focusing on next season, admitting he was ‘worrying’ about having ‘very little cash, poor youth prospects’ and a potential ‘poor CR.’ He will put this to the back of his mind, though, as he takes his side to take on Kensington in the first round of the cup. Depending on the comings and goings during the off-season, Goals Aloud may find themselves no more as the new season approaches.
Three Lions FC finished their promotion winning season with a 2-1 home success over PSV Eindhoven. However, the Lions were lucky to escape a first-half performance which saw PSV create five chances while restricting the home side to just one. Albert Riera had already fired a headed warning in the first minute before PSV took the lead with a clinical Fabio Aurelio strike in the penalty area after 15 minutes. Robin van Izu did come close to equalising as his header struck the bar but PSV regained the initiative and had efforts from Nanmeng and Jose Fonte before Riera also had an effort hit the woodwork. Fonte also wasted a free-kick effort after the interval as the visitors would pay for their profligacy. Zlatan Izuhimovic brought the home side level with a spectacular effort from distance on 56 minutes and Cesc Izukas nearly turned the game on its head moments later but was denied by Reina. Both sides had a chance to win the match but while Fonte again saw his effort come up short, Ben Dover made no mistake with time running out to give the home side three unlikely points. Despite the defeat, Kadri was able to complete the great escape with a PSV side who were down and out when he arrived. They can now look forward to the new season without having to catch up any ground due to a mismanaged start. Izuka, meanwhile, has taken his team to the top table and will get a taste of the competition in the first round of the cup on Friday against Yorkshires Amateurs.
Manchester United finished their season in style with a 5-1 home victory over Kirkbride Strollers. They produced a first-half which will have their fans wanting the new season to start tomorrow as they created eight openings to leave the visitors in tatters. They would score four goals in this blistering spell, starting with a shot from Darren Fletcher after a corner was delivered by Carlos Tevez. More expert crossing led to the other goals as Kirkbride’s defence couldn’t find an answer. Darren Gibson played a big part in the next two goals as he crossed for Owen Hargreaves to head home on 28 minutes before heading in a Giggs cross himself just a minute later. The first-half demolition was completed with an Eric Cantona header on 40 minutes following another dangerous Tevez corner. The second-half settled down and saw just a few chances. Kirkbride made a dent in the score on 55 minutes with a well-taken penalty by Jamie Cole but this was to be, effectively, cancelled out at the other end as Cantona scored his second of the game, also from the spot. The win caps a good season for Pakya’s United, with fans hoping they can take one step further next season and claim a top three spot. Kirkbride can also be happy with their season and will now focus on a clash with The Vikings in the first round of the cup on Friday.
Newry City confirmed their survival in Division One with an away performance of some assurance at S.S. Manfredonia. Newry started swiftly but Kian Dadashi couldn’t beat Ikhala with a side-footed effort. They did suffer an injury to Veevo Ulpre but this didn’t stop them going close again, this time through Muharem Husic. Shaan Mohsin had a near-miss as Manfredonia couldn’t cope with the visitors who would inevitably take the lead before half-time. Husic found his range from a free-kick opportunity to leave Ikhala grasping at thin air and Newry celebrating. Husic was proving a real thorn in the side of the home team and would double the advantage just after half-time. Antony Cowdrey provided some width before delivering a telling cross from which Husic headed home. Cowdrey, Mohsin and Woodlands all had efforts to extend the lead but couldn’t find any quality in front of goal. Despite this Newry were left celebrating their survival with their travelling support and will go into their cup match with Los Samgeles with renewed confidence. Manfredonia, meanwhile, will have already begun preparing for life in Division Two and will surely bring in some reinforcements when the transfer window opens again.
Juventus were the side left with that sinking feeling as they were out-gunned at home to The Vikings. The visitors would suffer injuries to Murray Irwin and Justin Portway during the course of the game but it wouldn’t detract from a solid performance which left their opponents unable to cope. They dominated the opening 45 minutes in terms of possession and duly took the lead with one of their two chances. The goal came on 23 minutes as Lewis Branston headed home from a Tassiopoulos cross. Juventus were strangely subdued given the magnitude of the game and found themselves firmly up against it at the start of the second-half. Branston slipped in Portway for the forward to finish with some class before succumbing to his injury. Juve would only get one sight of goal during the second-half but they made it count to put the game back in the melting pot. A corner was forced and a Chacros delivery was headed home by Claude Banquet. Despite getting to within a goal of their opponents they never looked like completing the comeback and The Vikings finished one of their many chances when Tassiopoulos poached a goal from a Colin Crouch corner. The win leaves Eaglesrjh well-placed for a promotion push next season given a favourable change report and he will be gunning for a good cup run also. SuperJuve will hope for a change of fortune in the cup before turning his attentions to a shot at the Division Two title.

Division Two Finale
AJ Rovers clinched the title with a 2-1 success over Charlottenburg FC at AJR Arena. AJ put in a dominating first-half performance but only came out of it one goal ahead due to some poor finishing and stubborn defending by the visitors. Sonny Vickerman, Elling Jarnoy and Eldur Gottskalk had all gone close before Rovers, eventually, took a 1-0 advantage. The goal came courtesy of Vickerman who hit a free-kick past Robinson and inside the far post. The second-half saw AJ remain on top but Charlottenburg provide a much sterner test. With a bit of luck they might have turned the game on its head as Michael Owen hit the woodwork before they also had a goal disallowed. AJ pounced on this misfortune by adding a second goal and sealing the win. Some good wing play by Cirilo Gibernaue gave Gordon Hogg the chance to head home, one that he wouldn’t waste to put the hosts 2-0 up. Although Rob Lee brought Potsdamerplatz’s side back into things with a fine header it would be AJ who finished the stronger to see out the win. Rothion can now enjoy his side’s cup run safe in the knowledge that they will be playing Division One football next season and are only one step away from the top table. Potsdamerplatz, meanwhile, will enjoy his side's quiet off-season and, with the promise of a good change report, is confident that ‘good times await.’
Kensington Boys Club were able to celebrate second-place with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Kroklund Kings. Although AJ winning took the title out of the home side’s reach they put on a champagne performance in front of their adoring fans. They scored within seconds of the start as Samson Lockwood shot home after they had forced a corner from the kick-off. Both sides suffered minor injuries in the first-half as Whitley was taken off for the hosts before Ilmari Jukka hobbled off for bossebong’s side. Kensington had chances to further extend their lead and made one of them pay with half-time approaching. A cross fromo the excellent Dorian Rooney was headed home emphatically by Harry Whitlow. With the visitors looking dispirited, Kensington swiftly put the game beyond doubt at the start of the second-half. Another corner proved the undoing of the Kings defence as they left Aubrey de Vere unmarked to head past Tolvanen for 3-0. Lockwood was soon back to scoring rather than creating as he added the fourth on 56 minutes. Some more dazzling wing play, this time from James Wilde, provided the headed opportunity from which Lockwood made no mistake. Kroklund’s miserable afternoon was completed when Bosse Bong joined the injured list but they can recuperate and look forward to making further strides next season. Kensington manager Patrik Karlsson acknowledged his side’s fortune in starting the season as a Division Two side but added that this time ‘they were destined to exit the right way up.’
Belly Tubbies confirmed their promotion with a 2-1 home success over Los Samgeles Kings. The Tubbies made a positive start and went close through Phil Fieldwick before taking a 25th minute lead. Some good build-up play culminated with Stuart Kendrick sending Colin Deary through to beat Kent in goal. However, the response from the Kings would prove to be instant. A lob from Michal Handzus went over before Ladislav Nagy converted from close range after a Dustin Brown corner. Nagy forced Fitzsimmons into work before half-time. Despite the cat being equal to this effort his evening was to end early when he hobbled off on the hour-mark holding his back. The Tubbies went close through Colin Deary before seeing the Kings reduced to 10-men following a nasty elbow by Handzus. Tubbies then took advantage of this as Fieldwick found his range from distance to send the home fans into party mode. The Kings did try to get back into the game but would waste a late chance to leave the Tubbies celebrating on the pitch at the end. After securing Division One football, next on Fitzy’s agenda is a cup run which starts against Pahang on Friday. Los Samgeles finished their season in sixth but Stripy will be confident of improvement next season and may fancy a cup run of his own as he travels to Newry in the first round.
At the bottom end of the table it would be Carthage FC who would fill the last relegation spot following an incredible game at Carthage City. Going into the match with White Hawk FC, both sides knew defeat would leave them relegated. White Hawk produced a devastating first-half performance which, ultimately, cost Carthage their place in the division. The visitors would score from three of their six chances in the opening 45 minutes to leave Carthage reeling. Charly Chan Jet Soe started the rot with a fine header from a Cianan Cathan cross on 12 minutes. When he scored ten minutes later following a swift breakaway White Hawk were 2-0 up, flying and even coped supremely with a nasty injury to Giovanni Jap A Joe. Adan Donahue added a third for the confident visitors on 37 minutes as he shot home in the penalty area and Carthage’s opening half misery was completed when Delis Eribenne hobbled off disconsolately on 42 minutes. The hosts came out with more purpose in the second-half but despite pulling a goal back through Marcus Spillane they were to soon find themselves three goals behind once more. Matts Perman was to score the goal as he was released in the area to defeat Aurelius. Carthage would respond, though, and fight their way back into the contest. A 73rd minute goal from Spillane breathed new life into them and, although both sides had chances, it would be the hosts who looked the more dangerous. However, their third goal was to come too late in the day to alter the result as Quincy Lansbury headed home in the 92nd minute. The respective off-seasons will be in contrasting moods as Hooraymee plans a more progressive second season in Division Two while Blakey has to plot a route straight back from the basement.
Internazionale finished in fourth after a solid 4-1 home win over Southampton. Despite an injury to Lambert Trott they would make their chances tell in the opening 45 minutes. Henrik Larsson was the player to do the damage as he finished a breakaway move after being put through by Bruce Deary on the half-hour. Four minutes following that it was 2-0 as Larsson continued his impressive season with a long range strike of real quality. Southampton were enduring a frustrating evening which was symbolised by the spate of bookings they found themselves picking up. It was to get even worse for them when Inter extended their lead on 61 minutes. Mortimer Wainman dazzled in the build-up to find, that man, Larsson who finished coolly for his hat-trick goal. Inter endured further injury misery as Cristovao Borba left the field injured but this didn’t seem to unduly worry them. The sides traded goals in the last few minutes as Timoteo Gemeos headed home for the Saints on 87 minutes before Neal Stapleton did likewise for Inter to complete a 4-1 triumph. Jamesmclaughlin will be confident his side can improve upon fourth-place after seeing his signings bed in well during the end of the season. They will have further chance to impress in a cup match against top division Santos on Friday. Southampton, meanwhile, will enjoy their time off before beginning preparations for a successful tilt at a return to Division Two at the first attempt.
Morley and Real Madrid finished the season with a 1-1 draw at Scatcherd Park. The first-half saw five chances but no goals as they misfired in front of the target. Alexander Connely, Kevin Gabriele and Aren Garabedian all had chances for Madrid who also had a goal disallowed for handball while Morley saw Roger Farrell and Vivian Kwekeu fluff their lines. Madrid made a better start to the second-half as Davit Ohanesian headed in on 46 minutes before they nearly extended their lead through Samvel Mortanian. This would prove costly as Madrid scored with their only chance of the half. It came late in stoppage-time as a free-kick was awarded by Ian Hartman. Adolf Munzberg would be the hero for the hosts as he shot past Nersesian for a stunning equaliser. While the point didn’t alter relegation it will have given Leeg21 and the Morley fans a boost before they travel to Reggae Reggae Sauce in the cup on Friday. Madrid finish their season in fifth and will now begin preparations as they hope to go one better next season.
Kensington Boys Club were able to celebrate second-place with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Kroklund Kings.
Division Three Finale
Wandsworth rounded off a superb first season in the RM Invitational with a 5-0 win at Here For The Beer FC. The difference in experience and class was evident from the start as Wandsworth opened the scoring in the very first minute with a fine Darcy Hording shot in the penalty area. Although the home side did enjoy a couple of chances in the first-half the game was as good as over after 19 minutes as Wandsworth added two more goals. In the 18th minute Rick Tuttle produced a spectacular effort from long range before Robin Barratt added a lovely breakaway goal just a minute later to put them 3-0 ahead. Darcy Hording did suffer an injury to put a dampener on the first-half but the away fans were delighted with their team at the interval. The second-half saw them continue to dominate and, following a bad penalty miss from Daniel Mendoza for the home side, they would add two further goals. Danny Shorey shot home number four in the area on 72 minutes and despite an injury to Alf Ackroyd they would add a fifth courtesy of a Barratt header on 86 minutes to complete the rout. LotharIstvan now leads his team into Division Two and only he will know whether he plans on adding reinforcements to an already impressive squad. Howemiester can now put this horror season behind him and concentrate on making his side competitive for the new season after a silly season of hard work.
These Charming Men finished in second after an end-of-season affair at home to Glasgow City. A dull and listless first-half saw just a solitary Tord Jakobson effort on goal as both sides knocked the ball around without any real purpose. With the crowd enjoying a promotion party most of the action was in the stands as the second-half continued in the same vein. Jakobson forced a save from Longton before Eliseu Henriques also had an effort go close as the home side created what chances there were. Glasgow City saw their season end with an injury to Mick Powerscourt but Moonboy can look forward to the new season with renewed confidence with his side in good form. RDCM has the silly season to prepare his side for life in Division Two after navigating his side to second in the table. Much will be expected of the manager who also picked up three manager of the round awards in a successful debut RM season.
Alsancak finished in third despite being edged out by The Champs at Old Trafford. The Champs themselves putting the finishing touches on an excellent season which saw them finish fifth. The game itself saw both sides enjoy chances in an even encounter. The first-half seeing Zachary Doughty and Anibal Felix go close for the hosts before Seth Alker fired them in front from distance on 33 minutes. Alsancak had chances too through Deano Elmes but he couldn’t quite put the finishing touch to some decent approach play. The second-half saw two chances at either end. Alker and Doughty going close for the hosts while Sebastian Norcott and Max Jekyll missed chances to draw the visitors level at the other end. The lacklustre finishing meant that Alker’s first-half goal was enough to win the game for The Champs. Wylie909 will now look to lead his side to glory in the cup although Champs News reported that they will need ‘a big performance’ to oust Wandsworth in the first round. Wienersnitzel can call his side a Division Two team now and will lead them into battle against AFC Stanley in the cup on Friday after a superb first season.
Finishing in fourth are Worley afc who enjoyed an entertaining 2-2 draw at Wiltshire Warriors. The visitors got off to the perfect start with a first minute breakaway goal by Jake Shiver. This seemed to spark the home side, though, and they went on to create six chances in an exciting first-half performance. An injury to Dante de Matteo didn’t affect their passing rhythm but their finishing left a lot to be desired. They did, however, manage to score an equaliser in the 28th minute as Clifford Cornish bucked the trend to shoot home in the penalty area. The visitors were having no such trouble at the other end as they notched their second goal from their second chance. It came on 45 minutes from a penalty as Brandon Hiller confidently beat Moore in goal to give them a half-time lead. The Warriors have become a resilient side under Big K and they didn’t lie down during the second-half. They were quickly level on 53 minutes as Craig Elliott scored the goal of the game from distance. Both sides would enjoy further chances but wasteful finishing meant that the score would remain 2-2. A point represents a good finish to the season for Big K who will go into the new campaign in his customary confident mood. While Wiltshire look to take out AC Milan in their cup match, wortley travel to AJ Rovers looking for more fortune after finishing fourth in the league and just missing out on promotion to Division Two.
Grey Area defeated an ill-disciplined Dream Team 2-0 to give Carfin a boost going into his first full season as an RM Invitational manager. Area managed to take an eighth minute lead through Garth Rossall as he powered a free-kick into the net but then proceeded to be the recipients of some tasty Dream Team play for the remainder of the half. Five players saw yellow as this turned into anything but an end-of-season knockabout. Despite out-muscling their opponents the visitors couldn’t take any of their opportunities and Area were to assert themselves with some fine football during the second-half. However, they would have problems in finishing their chances and had to wait until the 87th minute to seal the win. This would come after Giovanni Cambiel had been sent-off for the visitors. Allan Bound was the scorer as he capitalised on some excellent play by Sheldon Skiverton to beat Williamson in goal. An injury to Daniel Brewster couldn’t take the gloss of the end of season party at Doon The Park as Grey Area look forward to brighter times ahead. Firstly, though, they will want to overcome DaX’s new-boys in the cup on Friday. Dream Team manager MrJames was happy with ‘a good season for the partial time’ he has been in the league and will look forward to making more of an impact during the next campaign and in the cup against St Omer.
Northwich Victoria and Glory Hornets finished the season with a 1-1 draw at Victoria stadium. The last ever game at this stadium proved to be a dull one as neither side could create much going forward to end a season of frustration for both. Only two chances were created in the game and both came courtesy of referee Michaell Steen pointing to the spot. Victoria opened the scoring on 20 minutes as Louis Neau made no mistake with his penalty. The Hornets were given the chance to level just 18 minutes later with Toma Popadic scoring easily. Louis Neau suffered an injury in the second-half and he and his teammates will now look for employment elsewhere as Victoria fold after just one season. Mucca’s Glory Hornets will hope to be successful in the change report before embarking on their second season in the league; hoping to improve upon this season’s eighth-place.

The Birth of Samson
"Judges 13:1 The woman gave birth to a boy and named him Samson. He grew and the LORD blessed him, and the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him while he was in Mahaneh Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol."
Both midfield youngsters Samson Lockwood and Harry Whitlow were given the chance and both clearly took it. As the crowd was just taking their seat, a neatly placed corner ended with Samson beating his defender and scoring with his heel, mid-air.In the second half, Samson rushed to take the corner kick himself this time, giving Aubrey de Vere the chance to score with a signature header. Seven minutes later Samson would score Kensingtons fourth goal with his own head and this could really be the start of something great.

AFC Stanley held
Yorkshire Amateurs rounded off their season with a draw against AFC Stanley earlier this evening. In fairness, the hosts probably should have taken home the three points, and would have had it not been for Fred Franklin’s scuffed effort on 31 minutes. The game had a real end of season feel to it and petered out long before the end as both sides looked jaded after a long, hard season. The Amateurs will look back on the season with some disappointment. They finished the season with only one defeat in 9 but an inability to kill teams off earlier in the year meant they limped to a mid table finish.Danlufc13 told the waiting press, “Next season has to be better, my players can head off to the sun now, there will be no La Manga type incidents with these lads though, they’re consummate professionals and I expect us to hit the ground running when they return. A top three finish is where we want to be and with a good change report we might just be able to manage it”.
Last Ditch Draw for Morley
Town News
Morley left it very late to rescue a draw at home to Real Madrid tonight, Samvel Mortainian gave away a needless freekick within shooting range in te 92nd minute and Adolf Munzberg converted the resulting set piece, his free kick flew past Nersesian in the Madrid goal.
Morley now have to prepare for next season in Division 3 but will first compete in the pre season cup and will face Reggae Reggae Sauce in the first round.

finished on a high
The champs played alsancak fc today in the final fixture of the game which meant nothing but pride to the champs and thats what they got with a decent performance with a 1-0 win to finish the season off nicely and the champs finishing 5th. A big performance is needed in the cup with the 1st round against wandsworth fc who finished top of the league by far this season so the champs are going to need a big performance if they are going to stand any chance.
Can the Sauce ruin ThunderCats season?NO
Reggae Reggae Sauce entertain ThunderCats F.C tonight in a meaning less game for the Sauce. Sauce are already relegated but ThunderCats are 3 points clear at the top, with the same goal difference as Santos FC. All Reggae Reggae Sauce can do this season is ruin ThunderCat’s season dispite how unlikely it is. Santos will need to beat Hun Haters, who have survived the drop and rely on RRS to beat ThunderCat’s.
“It’s a game to play the unexperienced lads” said xpertelevener “to give them a game and hope they improve for next season.”ThunderCats have been seen with the champagne already open and RRS can’t blame them. lol

Who ate all the humble pie
Manager Patrik Karlsson showed new levels of humility as he refused to acknowledge the fact that Kensington Boys Club are moving upwards and will play in division 1 next season.
"I am not going to comment on matters that are not fully settled. This is division 2 after all."
Mr Karlsson, always seen as having a little more heart for football than brains for it, did however have some enormous luck the previous season. After being officially relegated and facing division 3, a winning lottery ticket put them firmly into division 2 madness once again. This time however, it seems they were destined to exit the right way up.

Newspaper reports suggest top striker Gary Molseley may be looking for a move close season, the most valuble player in season 1 is said to be looking for a fresh challenge.Manager Markham 33 said "I will not stand in the way if Garry wants to leave he hs been a tremendous servant for the club, we would consider a player exchange if the right player came along"
Newry City 1 - 1 The Vikings
Viking Land News
Season slowly winding down.
The Vikings season is slowly winding down with nothing left to play for except pride and experience. The team sent out was made up of anyone still needing match experience and this will continue for the next game.
Newry had the games first chance a Husic freekick hitting the post on 10 minutes. Ahlm then hit the crossbar with a header for the Vikings on 14 as both teams tested the frame of the goal. Young midfielder Lewis Branston then found the net after a corner from Gourmas, the ball was not cleared and fell to Branston who stabbed home. Newry then continued hitting the woodwork when Petsiara hit the bar on 22. The goals were getting a good test of rigidity as Almadis sent over a 41st minute freekick that seemed destined for the net but hammered back off the bar. 0-1 half-time, Newry were dominating possession but The Vikings had created more chances.
The second half started brightly and Branston headed just over on 48. Husic then sent a 51st minute freekick wide for Newry. Almandis hit the target with a good shot on 63 but wellens saved well. Cowdrey then got Newry what was probably a deserved equaliser as he shot home from range after receiving the ball from Revell. both teams were probably happy enough with the point and must have wished the game could have ended on 80 minutes as both teams suffered injuries to good players in the last 10 minutes. First Wellens fell awkwardly getting a cross for Newry and had to be replaced before Gourmas pulled up with a muscle srain when running for the ball. Both teams will hope their player is fit in plenty of time for the new season.
1-1 and probably a fair result.

Bad Draw
Big K put his head in his hands as the draw for the first round of the pre-season cup was announced drawing AC Milan a team three divisions higher than us was not what Big K was hoping for the gap between us and the Invitational League is immense so Milan are firm favourites to brush us a side but let's hope that their highly paid players find comming to a small ground with a bumpy pitch reduces their form..
Safety
Charlottenburg guaranteed another season of Division 2 football with a steely draw against Real Madrid. With other results going our way it was a tense few minutes at the end but we live to fight another day and will do much better next season with our improved players. Good times await.
Say it Ain’t So
The final week will bring some intrigue to RM Invitational, but not as much many expected. Thundercats, three points ahead of Santos, need a mere point from Reggae Reggae Sauce to clinch the RM Invitational Crown. However, Santos have done everything in their power to try and keep the race as close as possible. The first task was going up against former RM champions Totaalvoetbal. In a very tight match at MVB Arena, both managers had played very smart tactics to keep the game even at halftime. Chances were few and far in between. Santos were able to eek out a 1-0 victory with a last gasp header from Richardo Ferrari. The next game at hand was facing the leaders at home. The Brasilians knew anything less than three points would guarantee success for Thundercats. It was at the second half that Santos threw their entire arsenal at the opposition, going for headers, throughballs, winning freekicks. Midfield dynamo Fredrick Winnerljung continued his prolific campaign with a goal in the 49th minute. Torbjörn Alshammar scored his league leading 14th goal of the season in typical fashion, blasting a swerving deadball past the outstretched arms of Carlos Magro to effectively win the game. The game was bittersweet though, as Asmar Golkás had to be taken off in the 89th minute due to a calf strain. The injury will sideline him for two weeks, effectively ruling him out for the season. It will be big blow to Santos chances, as well as a dire ending for the midfielder. Golkás provided much throughout the season, contributing with his vital playmaking ability. Santos wish him a speedy recovery.
Said the manager, “ We aren’t in the drivers seat in this race, and we hate to chase. Stranger things have happened in the last week, but we have to do our part first, that means getting a good game against Hun Haters. We will obviously miss the impact that Golkás would’ve had on the game, and we need our other players to step up in his absence.”

Totaal Sitting Preety
Totaalvoetbal eased to a 2-0 away success at Reggae Reggae Sauce which relegated the home side.
The game got off to a bad start for the home side as Eddy Grant was forced off with an injury after a crunching challenge by Raymond Putnam which earned him a yellow card.
The sides then traded chances as Shivan Preetnav had a miss-hit shot miss while Terry Jenkins couldn’t capitalise on a free-kick.
A powerful header from Johan Juffing forced RRS into a save while Jenkins did likewise at the other end. As the game continued to to-and-fro, Juffing then let fly with a low shot which was centimetres wide.
Totaalvoetbal were to miss further chances through Preetnav and a Horacio Metelo free-kick which crashed off the bar. Preetnav was to make amends, though, by converting a Shirsh Vajpayee corner to give them a 1-0 half-time lead.
This quickly became 2-0 after the break as Vajpayee headed home a Metelo corner on 49 minutes.
Jenkins was leading a lone crusade at the other end and, again, forced Leemans into work with a shot on goal. It was to be Leemans’ final act as he suffered an injury due to a Frank Gerrard challenge which earned him a yellow card.
There was to be further chances in the final moments. Pierre van Diemen and Vajpayee both forced RRS into work with decent headers before Ronaldo struck a post at the other end in a final act of defiance.
At the final whistle Meeblind indicated he was content with the way things were shaping up:
“Everything is going to plan. Obviously form can be improved upon but we are hopeful of a decent change and then, with a bit of cash, we’ll see where we need to strengthen.”

Title Up for Grabs
Santos FC kept the title race open going into the final game with a 2-0 win over leaders ThunderCats F.C. In a hostile atmosphere the hosts made a fast start in creating two openings. However, some poor finishing by Rogerio Franca and Torbjorn Alshammar meant that they couldn’t capitalise on their good approach play. The visitors managed to weather the storm and then, with half-time approaching, they had an opening themselves. A fabulous volley from Silvio Falcao forced Rodenas into some fine work in goal to push the ball away. The second-half saw both sides create three chances but the finishing of the two respective teams determined the way the game went. While ThunderCats wasted chances, twice through Izet Hadzic and once a brilliant Leonardo Borja free-kick which smashed off the bar, the home side took two of theirs to race to victory. They opened the scoring on 49 minutes as Fredrick Winnerljung placed his finish beyond Magro after a corner from Patricio Bento wasn’t cleared. Their second goal then arrived on 71 minutes with a special free-kick from Alshammar which sent the crowd wild. Even an injury to Asmar Golkas couldn’t spoil the mood although Santos manager Sean7 said he was ‘pleased with the win’ but he was ‘ruing missed opportunities at the start of the season.’ Meanwhile, Meelas was still ‘very confident’ of winning the title ‘in front of my home fans’ as they go into their final match against Reggae Reggae Sauce needing only a point for the title.
Reggae Reggae Sauce go into that game after being relegated from the top division following a 2-0 home reversal against Totaalvoetbal. Sauce got off to the worst possible start as their leading player Eddy Grant was felled and had to go off with a serious looking injury. The half then proceeded to see lots of attacking play as Jenkins twice went close for Sauce. At the other end Shivan Preetnav had two near-misses while Johan Juffing and Horacio Metelo both went close. Eventually, the goal did arrive, though, just before the half-time whistle. A corner was taken by Shirsh Vajpayee and poked home by Preetnav for a deserved opener. Preetnav went on and doubled their advantage at the beginning of the second-half as he headed home a Metelo corner. Sauce had chances to get back into the game but couldn’t take them despite Totaal’s only recognised ‘keeper going off injured - to be replaced in goal by Richie Chalmers. Totaal would miss further chances themselves but were satisfied with a 2-0 victory. Meeblind already had his eyes on next season as he said ‘everything is going to plan.’ The same cannot be said for Sauce who have gone on a catastrophic run which has seen them go from fourth to relegated in a matter of weeks.
Hun Haters celebrated their safety with an entertaining 2-2 draw with AFC Stanley. Despite the first-half seeing five chances the sides were to go in 0-0 at the interval. Garry Molseley and Alan Martindale both had fine efforts for the visitors while Don MacArthur twice went close and Iain Emery might have scored with a header for the hosts. Stanley were disappointed with an injury to Oliver Trower, though, despite the level score. The second-half saw Hun Haters start on top and Nigel Bruggink might have put them ahead with better luck. After having one effort go close, he then placed a shot past the ‘keeper but back off the post as they remained frustrated. Bruggink did, eventually, find the breakthrough on the hour-mark. Picking up the ball from distance he hit a stunning shot past Hessbo for the opening goal. Stanley’s response was instant as Armitage hit the post with a shot before Molseley equalised from distance on 70 minutes. With defences now tiring, more goals looked likely and they duly arrived. Ted Caird was to put the hosts back in front with a fine shot in the penalty area after good work by Iain Emery but they were then to rue two wasted opportunities soon afterwards. Stanley drew level for the second time in the match as they were awarded a free-kick in injury-time. Macelino Montez stepped forward and hit his effort directly into the net to ensure a point apiece. Markham can be proud of his first season in the RMI and will look to improve next term after gaining valuable experience. Celticchris will be looking for his side to develop during the change so they can return to title-chasing after seeing this season turn into a struggle.
AC Milan were also celebrating survival with a strong 2-0 home win over Marseille. Milan made a positive opening to the game and, despite missing an early chance through Kaka, they took the lead on twelve minutes as Victor Moses shot home after a corner was delivered by Sean Scannel. Marseille did threaten an equaliser when Sid Peyton smashed a free-kick off the post and bar. They were then to suffer an injury to Boulding and had to look on in pain as Milan extended their lead; a precise header by Andrea Pirlo beating Abrey on 37 minutes. Peyton couldn’t replicate this at the other end and Milan took a deserved 2-0 win into the half-time break. The second-half saw Milan happy to play the game out in confident fashion. The sides traded chances through Ron Aldinho and Errol Beddoe but neither looked likely to add to the score and the home fans were free to celebrate survival. MarkieRich is now charged with the task of taking his side forward from their season of struggle and get back to the heights of second-place in season one. Marseille are still waiting to see who will be their manager as they prepare for life in Division One.
Yorkshires Amateurs confirmed their RMI status with a 2-0 victory over F.C. Greatness in a match that had everything. Mario Balotelli, Fabrizio Colluato and Alvaro Recoba all had opportunities for Greatness as they played their full part in an entertaining opening half. Vince Brightwell had an early chance for the Amateurs but they had to wait until the 39th minute to take the lead. It came in the shape of a penalty as Amadeo Caviedes made no mistake from the spot. However, this was to be Caviedes’ last moment of joy as he was the dismissed for some brutal play on 44 minutes. The beginning of the second-half was marred by an injury to Micky Cox but the Amateurs were to bounce back and double their lead through a Fred Franklin scorcher from distance. Agostino Bernardi went close to bringing the visitors back into it with a fine strike which came back off the post. However, they were to suffer further blows with an injury to Mario Balotelli and also a sending-off as Faust Baronchelli received his marching orders. Both sides will be looking to make a step further forward next season after they have proved themselves stellar members of the RMI.
Tranmere Rovers defeated St Omer 3-0 to guarantee RMI football at Prenton Park next season. A 16th minute header by Uilliam Flanagan set them on their way and even though both sides had chances during the first-half it was always the hosts who looked the likelier winners. The second-half bore this fact out as Rovers created four openings while keeping Omer quiet at the other end. They were to score from two of these chances as Victor Duvivier shot home following a corner on 69 minutes. Their third came late in the game as Flanagan added his second. A super cross from Leroy Upson was met well by Flanagan as they secured survival in style. Despite the defeat ConyTottee is ‘pleased with the way his plan for the club is going’ and they will be optimistic of winning more games in Division One next term. Baz will now be looking for Tranmere to kick-on next season and establish themselves as a top four club after spending their entire history in the top division.

Title for DD
West Brom Strollers clinched the title as they defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-0 at Philips Stadion. With the hosts still needing to secure their place in Division One for next season there was plenty at stake for the two teams. That being the case it was no surprise to see the first-half a cagey affair with only one chance being created. The chance came for the home side but Jeremiah McNally couldn’t keep his lob down. This capped a frustrating half for the hosts who had also seen Frans Haggbring hobble off during the early stages. The second-half also started with a McNally chance. This time he was to get his effort on target but he found Tony Godden well-placed to make the save. West Brom punished Eindhoven for these misses by scoring with their first effort. It came in the 72nd minute as Bryan Robson showed his class by netting from a free-kick. The lead was then doubled just five minutes later as Bobby Taylor finished off a nice through ball by Brendon Batson with a cool finish. Eindhoven were stung by this and completed their frustrating evening in front of goal when Jose Fonte struck a half-volley over the bar. Dinkydave spoke of it being ‘a great day for the club’ as they were awarded the title before adding that they’ll ‘be fair to everybody in the league’ as they face a Pahang side still in relegation trouble in their last game. This will have been appreciated by Kadri and Eindhoven who still need another point for their own safety.
New York City sealed their promotion with a tough 3-2 victory over manager-less S.S. Manfredonia. With Manfredonia knowing they also needed victory to keep their survival hopes alive both sides were to create chances in an open encounter. It was to be City who got off to much the better start as they took an early lead through Demetrio Delpiano. A cross by Elivs MacCaran was met perfectly by the experienced forward to leave Ikhala with no chance. It was to be 2-0 on 18 minutes as the same two players combined again. This time it was a cross from Delpiano as he returned the favour for MacCaran to head in. With a two-goal deficit it would have been easy for Manfredonia to fold but they showed great resolve in trying to play their way back into the contest. They were to be rewarded for their efforts after Eugene Kameni Idriss had gone off injured for the hosts. The goal came on 35 minutes as Bertrando Baiocco found a way through the home defence with a nice pass and Ghita Ahmataj made no mistake with a cool finish. The second-half continued in an entertaining fashion with both sides enjoying a couple of chances each. However, it would be City who would double their lead once more as MacCaran continued the excellent wing play for the hosts with another superb cross. Zenon Zagajewski was on hand to nod in and put them 3-1 up. Just as they were relaxing, though, Manfredonia came back at them once more. It was their turn to cause mayhem out wide and when Carasario Falcioni had crossed in, Douglas Wallberg headed home with a minimum of fuss. Despite bringing themselves back into the game they couldn’t force an equaliser and, due to results elsewhere, were confirmed as relegated. It wasn’t all bad news for Manfredonia, though, as Villan_RAS was appointed their new manager in the early hours. Jimmy and New York, meanwhile, can now start planning to take on the big boys as they celebrate their promotion to the RM Invitational.
Also celebrating promotion are Three Lions FC who thumped Goals Aloud 4-1 to confirm their second promotion in three seasons. In truth, the game never looked in doubt from the moment Robin van Izu headed in a cross by Izu Kaka on 19 minutes. Although Aloud did enjoy a couple of openings themselves in the first-half they couldn’t make them count and looked all-at-sea against an impressive Lions side. Luis Carlos Almeida doubled the visitors’ advantage on 56 minutes with a fine strike in the penalty area only for Dan Ruffer to shoot home after Aloud had forced a corner from the restart. However, with the Lions forcing numerous chances it was only a matter of time before they secured the win and so it proved. On 76 minutes Cristiano Izuldo headed in a cross from Henning Bade to stretch their lead to two once more and they then added some gloss in injury-time. Izuldo produced some fine approach play to find van Izu in the area and the forward made no mistake in finding the net from close range. The win took Three Lions five points clear of fourth and manager Izuka can now plan the next stage of his side’s development as a top division club; a fine achievement for a manager who has been here from the outset and had to start off in the bottom division. The future is not so clear for Aloud who have been playing players out of position and with form and morale low it remains to be seen how they bounce back from this.
Manchester United saw their promotion hopes disappear as they lost 2-1 at home to Pahang who boosted their survival hopes with the victory. In an open game there was no less than 13 chances created between the two teams. United made a fast start as Ronaldo twice went close with free-kicks. They did open the scoring as Federico Macheda stroked home a penalty on 12 minutes. However, the lead would only last until the 28th minute as Pahang were awarded a penalty of their own; Benjamin Johannsen making no mistake to level the game. Pahang went on to finish the half the stronger of the two sides as Otto and Lindeman caused some uneasy moments in the home defence. The second-half didn’t start any better for the home side as they lost Berbatov to injury before seeing Pahang create some good openings. Otto and Johanssen both went close with the latter having his effort chalked off for offside. With Pahang still forcing the pace a second goal seemed inevitable. On 86 minutes a corner delivered by Johanssen found Henning Gassner and the forward made no mistake in rifling past Foster to give them a crucial lead. Both sides had chances as they game entered injury-time but neither could find a clinical touch and Pahang held on for a priceless win. TrueBlue sees his side one point above Juve with one game to go and after this win they will take confidence into their all-important clash with WBS on Tuesday. United will now look to go again next season.
Slipping into the relegation zone with just one match to go are Juventus who went down 3-1 at Kirkbride. The game started in lively fashion as a header by Sinoda narrowly missed for the hosts before Chacros hit the bar with a fine lob for Juve. This reprieve didn’t last long for the hosts as Juve took the lead on 22 minutes. After the award of a free-kick, Mairthin Foley stepped up and struck a beautiful effort past McLoud and into the corner of the net. However, this lead wasn’t to last long as the home side hit straight back through a free-kick of their own. Fraser Symington was the scorer as he took a more powerful route by blasting his effort through the wall. Symington nearly turned the game right round before half-time but his effort struck a post. Both sides shared early chances at the resumption; Proctor having a near-miss for the Strollers with Di Cintio responding with a header of his own for Juve. The home side were gradually getting on top, though, and you sensed Juve’s lack of confidence coming into play. This manifested itself into the score when, on 77 minutes, Kirkbride struck the lead. A fine cross by Trifan was met well by the head of Jordan MacIan, leaving ‘keeper Fuentes with no chance. Only one side were looking threatening by this stage and despite an injury to David Proctor the hosts would double their lead in injury-time. It was Symington who would seal it with a stunning long range strike to leave Juventus in real trouble at the bottom end of the table. With a home match against The Vikings they will need to pick up some sort of positive result and hope that results elsewhere go in their favour as well. Kirkbride bring down the curtain on a positive season with a trip to Manchester United as they seek a good change report and then a fresh assault next term.
Newry kept their heads above water with a 1-1 home draw against The Vikings. With the visitors having little to play for, Newry might have fancied their chances of picking up a crucial win. They were to go close on ten minutes when Husic struck a post with a fabulous free-kick. However, this sparked an immediate response with Ahlm tasting wood for the visitors with a cracking header. The Vikings then stunned the home crowd by taking a 17th minute lead. A corner by Evstathios Gourmas wasn’t dealt with properly and Lewis Branston took advantage by poking home. Newry, to their credit, were still playing their part in an open game and, again, had a near-miss when Petsiara struck wood with a precision lob which left Lees beat in goal. Amazingly, the frame was rattled once more as, this time, The Vikings responded. An Almanidis free-kick looked to have done for Wellens in goal but he was to become the next victim to the curse of the frame. The game continued in its end-to-end fashion after the break as Husic and Branston traded chances. Almanidis then missed the chance to double the visitors’ lead and they were to rue this as Newry found the equaliser. Antony Cowdrey took matters into his own hands with a speculative long range strike on 73 minutes which left Lees grasping thin air. Fittingly, the game ended with the side’s trading injuries as well with Wellens and Gourmas suffering unfortunate knocks. A win for Newry against Manfredonia will see them safe but they will know any slip-ups and they might be facing final-day heartache. Eaglesrjh bemoaned his side’s misfortune saying ‘yet another smegging injury!’ He will be hoping his side get through their final game with no further scares.

Eaglesrjh bemoaned his side’s misfortune saying ‘yet another smegging injury!’ He will be hoping his side get through their final game with no further scares.
AJ & Boys Up
AJ Rovers won promotion and took another step towards the Division Two title with a 2-1 win at Carthage FC. During a tight and nervous first-half neither side managed to threaten the other’s rearguard much. An injury to Delis Eribenne was to disrupt the home side as they sought three points which would have gone a long way to securing their future in Division Two for another season. The second-half would see the game open up. Despite an injury to Niclas Ravn it would be AJ Rovers who would create the first openings. After seeing Eilling Jarnoy go close with a volley they would open the scoring on 73 minutes. Sonny Vickerman crossed well for Gordon Hogg to head in as Carthage were caught out at the back. Vickerman was to create further problems for the home side just four minutes later as he produced a good pass for Jarnoy. The forward then proceeded to drill a low long range strike into the bottom corner to double the visitors’ advantage. Carthage responded in fine fashion despite an injury to Quincy Lansbury. They were to strike the woodwork three times in an incredible three-minute spell as Guido Eliseo, Amin Mansourian and Ad Herbal all endured shocking luck in front of goal. Carthage did eventually get their goal as Nicholas Crowe volleyed in a corner but it wasn’t to be enough to get Carthage anything out of the game. The win keeps Rovers title hopes in their own hands and they know a win at home to Charlottenburg will guarantee the club the title. Carthage, meanwhile, have a date with destiny as they face up to a game with White Hawk which will determine which side gets relegated to Division Three; a win or a draw will be enough for Blakey’s side.
Kensington Boys Club won promotion to Division One as they beat Morley Town F.C. 3-1 to relegate the Yorkshire side in the process. The first-half was a tight affair with both sides enjoying three chances each. The home side were to strike first as Cameron Nowell finished a high quality breakaway which involved some fine work by Adrian Gray. Morley weren’t fazed by the goal, though, and they were to level after the home side suffered an injury to Aubrey de Vere. Val Sheridan carried the ball well out of the defence to feed Roger Farrell a pass which opened up some space. Farrell struck the ball well enough to beat Gardiner and level the game on 33 minutes. The second-half saw Morley retreat into their shell while Kensington grew strong. Although they created four chances to the visitors one it took until the last five minutes for Kensington to make their superiority count. Angreas Kafka went off for Morley as, they too, suffered injury heartache. Two minutes later the home team were in front. A cross from Dorian Rooney found the head of Eustace Bayley as the fans started chanting “We are going up!” A minute later and their claims were confirmed when they were awarded a penalty. Maurice Jacobs stepped forward to knock the ball home and send the club into party mode. With Patrik’s side now confirmed as a Division One side they will turn their attentions to trying to steal the title away from AJ as they face Kroklund in their final game of the season. Morley will look to bounce straight back after relegation and will fancy their chances in the bottom division.
Belly Tubbies are the other side who have a shot at the title but they will be more concerned with confirming promotion following a 0-0 draw at Kroklund Kings. The need for points wasn’t reflected in a first-half which never really got going. With the sides battling for supremacy no chances were made although Kroklund were hurt by an injury to Zwonko Fuckala. While the second-half remained tight there was to be some openings. Gabriel Galtier forced Michael Fitzsimmons into a fine leg save on 59 minutes as Kroklund threatened to take the lead. This, however, seemed to spur the away side into action of their own. A minute later Stuart Kendrick brought the very best out of Kangashaka in goal as the score remained 0-0. With time running out Lucius Burchell drove a low shot just wide as the game ended with the sides taking a point each. The Tubbies need only a point for promotion but Fitzy won’t rest there and ‘vowed to improve greatly next season’ and also ‘give (the) team the time, energy and devotion they will need.’ Kroklund, meanwhile, can prepare for another season in Division Two with more experience under their belt and in a better position to challenge.
Real Madrid FC remain in the hunt for promotion despite being held 1-1 at Charlottenburg, a result which ensured the safety of Potsdamerplatz’s side. A quiet opening half saw both chances missed but also saw Teddy Sheringham go off after suffering a nasty looking injury for the hosts. His replacement, Stan Collymore, nearly had an instant impact but his lobbed effort was chalked off for a dubious offside. The second-half brought with it more action and an opening goal for the home team. Paul Scholes was the scorer after good work from Collymore; the substitute forward delivering a fine corner which his teammate headed in. Scholes was to go on and hit the post as the home side failed to put the game to bed and allowed Madrid a route back. Madrid went close through Willie Rhodes before Kevin Gabriele stroked home in the area following a good through ball from Aren Garabedian. Madrid were then to go close to snatching all three points as Davit Ohaneisan was only denied by the woodwork as the clock struck 90 minutes. Charlottenburg’s safety was greeted with Potsdamerplatz saying he had learned ‘a valuable lesson’ during the season in keeping the average age of sections of his side up and hoped to see his side visibly improve after the change report. FredRizzo now takes his Madrid side to Morley knowing that only a win and a defeat for the Tubbies will see his side promoted after what has been a competitive season.
Los Samgeles Kings ensured Division Two football for another season with a brilliant away performance in a 5-1 victory at Southampton. They had to do so by coming from behind, though, as the hosts made a strong start. Despite an injury to Kevin Royale, Southampton were to take the lead through a super Aaron Winder free-kick. However, from this point on it was to be all the visiting side as they created eleven chances while not allowing the hosts any more. Winder went from hero to villain as he put through his own goal on 21 minutes and Samgeles took the lead six minutes later as Michal Handzus finished a Luc Robitaille through ball. Ladislav Nagy scored a superb long range strike on 34 minutes to put the visitors 3-1 and on 38 it was 4-1 as Handzus scored his second of the game, also from distance. The second-half saw the visitors play out the game but they did add a fifth as Handzus grabbed his hat-trick goal. Southampton hadn’t learned their lesson and, as they gave Handzus too much time in the middle of the park, the forward unleashed a stunner from distance to cap a superb performance. With safety now assured, LSK news reports that they ‘will be looking for new talent when the transfer window opens.’ It remains to be seen how Southampton go about their new campaign in Division Three; much seemingly dependant on how the change report goes for NorthamSoul’s side.
White Hawk FC found themselves outclassed by Internazionale as they lost 1-0 at home. The result means they now go into a winner-takes-all clash with Carthage to see who remains in the division on the final day of the season. Inter looked the stronger team from the start and were to create all of the half’s chances. They opened the scoring from their very first effort. Joel Weymouth led a breakaway move which saw Mortimer Wainman shooting home. Inter were to go close twice more as Weymouth and Lorimer had near-misses. Inter did lose Weymouth to injury but went in at the break with a comfortable 1-0 lead. With the second-half played out almost exclusively in midfield there was a lack of goalmouth action. However, White Hawk did force their only chance of the game in injury-time, unfortunately for them, though, Clyde Nageswar couldn’t beat Mantua and the points belonged to Inter. Hooraymee will now look to prepare his side for their make-or-break clash with Carthage while Jimmy Mc will be looking to end the season on a high before he attempts a promotion run next term.

TCM & Alsancak Up
These Charming Men were able to celebrate promotion to Division Two with a 2-1 victory at Grey Area. Knowing a point would be enough things didn’t start well for TCM as they conceded a goal and suffered an injury in a turbulent opening 45 minutes. Area stunned their visitors in the second minute as Roger Stride ran onto an Allan Bound pass to beat Challis in goal. The visitors enjoyed a lot of possession from there on in but they missed the two chances they created and were to lose Jon Turnball to an injury on 20 minutes. The second-half was to bring more joy for RDCM’s side as they scored two quick goals which would, ultimately, seal promotion. Stuart Cooksey gave them the perfect boost at the beginning of the second 45 minutes as he shot home in the penalty area following a nice pass by Loran Rajabi. With Area still rocking the visitors quickly doubled their pain. Gregorio Jonay was the tormentor of the home defence out wide as he swung in a cross perfectly for Eliseu Henriques to head in. Chances came at both ends during an exciting end to the game but there was to be no further goals. There were wild scenes amongst the away support at the final whistle as they celebrated a superb season following RDCM’s arrival. RDCM was delighted with the outcome and proud of ‘the progress made in a short time.’ Meanwhile, Grey Area continue their quest to boost form and match experience before the, fast approaching, change report.
Alsancak F.C also won promotion on a dramatic day at Mosquito Alley. With the champions Wandsworth in town the task looked a difficult one for Alsancak as they looked to get three points which would take them into Division Two. They quickly created chances and were buoyed further by an injury to Wandsworth defender Stewart Sterland. The hosts would take the lead on 22 minutes after a corner, delivered by Brad Kavanaugh, was struck home by Eliott Burbank. With Wandsworth playing second fiddle to a positive home team the game looked to be heading in only one direction. This was further confirmed when, on 33 minutes, Kenny Acton headed home another Kavanaugh corner. Wandsworth’s first-half woe was complete when Danny Shorey also had to be replaced due to an injury and they trudged in at the break looking anything but champions. The second-half wasn’t to bring any improvement for the visitors as Alsancak clinched promotion in style. The instrumental Kavanaugh added a deserved goal on 58 minutes by striking home in the area following another corner on 58 minutes. The victory was then assured eleven minutes later as a Kavanaugh cross was headed home by Acton for his second of the game. A Rowley Forrester free-kick on 89 minutes proved scant consolation for Wandsworth but they will know they did their hard work earlier in the campaign. This day was all about Wienersnitzel and Alsancak as, after an impressive first season, they are now a Division Two football side.
The team missing out due to Alsancak and TCM’s promotions were wortley afc. Despite winning 2-1 at Glasgow City, results elsewhere meant their chance slipped by. It was to be a deserved win for the visitors as they kept their hosts chanceless in the first-half and went in 1-0 up. The goal came in the ninth minute as Nigel Krippner scored his second goal of the season with a cracking free-kick to further underline his potential. City’s troubled first 45 minutes ended on a low note as Hugo Weymouth limped off before the break to cause reserve ‘keeper Tejera to play up front for the remainder of the game. The second-half, however, saw a change of fortune in the game as City were to gain possession and also create the same number of chances as wortley. Both sides struggled in front of goal, though, as wortley held onto their one-goal advantage until late in the piece. An injury to Marry Heath didn’t help the visitors’ cause and City were to find themselves level on 90 minutes. A good through ball by Edward Stoneley found the composed figure of Isak Bergendorff who shot past Jenning. Thegreatlordbags’ side then showed the composure which has kept them fighting for promotion to the last as they went in front again straight from the kick-off. Some rapid passing ended when Quincy Bowey found Curt Pryor in the area. Pryor took one touch before finding the back of the net to win the game in dramatic fashion. However, it wasn’t to prove enough to propel wortley to promotion but they will fancy going one better next season after showing improvement season on season since their arrival. City, meanwhile, will also be looking to be up at the top end of the table following a season of consolidation this time round.
Another side looking to be pushing for promotion next season are Wiltshire Warriors. Taking on manager-less Northwich Victoria, the Warriors cut them open at will with the only surprise being that they only scored the three goals. Victoria’s season was summed up when Tom-Stian Anthonsen was injured in the 17th minute and, with no substitutes on the bench, they had to face playing the remainder of the game with 10-men. The Warriors went on to create five chances in the opening half and were to take the lead on 29 minutes. A corner was delivered by Clifford Cornish and, with the home defence in disarray, Craig Elliott shot home. The lead was doubled on 40 minutes through a Steven Milford strike in the penalty area following good work by Bob Black. As if Victoria’s task wasn’t hard enough they suffered further pain at the start of the second-half with Atgeirr Aspas joining the wounded in the treatment room to further reduce their men on the pitch. With only 9-men out there Victoria couldn’t stem the attacks from the Warriors and nine chances were created during the second 45 minutes. Some wayward finishing meant that they only added one further goal. It came late on as Elliott headed in his second goal from a pinpoint Black cross. Warriors news reported that ‘Big K would have expected a top three finish if in charge from the start’ and that will be music to the ears of their fans as they look forward to next season.
The Champs enjoyed an away victory at Dream Team thanks, in the main, to a superb performance from their forwards. There was no indication of what was to come as Dream Team put together a composed first-half performance to create five chances while keeping the visitors chanceless at the other end. However, the hosts would miss a lot of their chances, the worst culprit being Rinaldo Lupatelli who missed a fifth minute penalty. Lupatelli did, partially, make amends on the stroke of half-time when he shot home after a Giovanni Cambiel pass. The second-half took a different pattern from the start and The Champs would stun their hosts with two goals in the first three minutes. Leigh Ellefson shot home on 47 minutes before crossing for Seth Alker to head them into the lead just a minute later. With chances at both ends the fans were on the edge of their seats for the majority of the half. Lupatelli would drag Dream Team level on 63 minutes as he struck a sweet free-kick into the goal. However, The Champs three-pronged attack were causing the home defence all sorts of trouble and would win the game for them in the final stages. Alker added his second header of the game on 85 minutes to put them 3-2 up before sealing the win, and his hat-trick, in injury-time. Latching onto a pass from Luis Barros, Alker showed nerves of steel in beating Williamson to confirm a stunning victory. MrJames was in no doubt as to where his side lost the game as he said in disbelief, ‘his attack played to a 12!!’ However, he will know there is more to come from his side next season. The Champs news reported that it was ‘an unfortunate loss’ for Dream Team but that they were getting used to serving up ‘thrillers’ following last round’s tussle with TCM.
Glory Hornets and Here For The Beer FC enjoyed a rare old tussle to take a point each away from Yellow Brick Road. Here For The Beer, buoyed by their first win of the season, started well and had a goal lead on 12 minutes. A free-kick was deposited by Sheldon Gorst for the only goal of an opening half which saw six chances. Zach Hunt had to go off injured for the visitors but it wasn’t to affect them as they began the second-half in good fashion. They were to double their lead on 67 minutes. Bruce Spooner produced some fine wing play to cross for Terrance Maxfield to head in. This only served to inspire the hosts who finally found their finishing touch. Toma Popadic started the comeback on 71 minutes with a stunning free-kick and, although they lost Collin Smart to injury, they completed their revival on 81 minutes. An accurate through ball from Wallace Baker found Marshall Crashaw who beat Mendoza to level the game at 2-2. HFTBFC now have something tangible to show for their season following a win and a draw in their last two games while Glory Hornets will be glad to get the new campaign underway following a season in mid-table.

S.S Get Man While Youngster Breezes In
S.S. Manfredonia wasted no time in getting a new manager as Villan_RAS joined up with the club in the early hours of the morning after intense negotiations.
The board sought to bring in a new man before the silly season to safeguard their future in the league.
“I’m delighted Villan_RAS has taken on the challenge. The team look to have good form and should challenge well in Division Two next season. I wish Villan the best of luck.” said league admin, Meeblind.
Meanwhile, Spartans joined the league under their manager DaXtremist. With Northwich Victoria folding at the season’s end there was a spare slot available and DaX jumped at the chance of joining the league.
News coming out of the club spoke of the newcomers being ‘very aggressive’ and that they have already turned their attentions on Carfin. Interesting times ahead for the league.

Morley Town F.C. Relegated
Town News
Towns relegation was confirmed yesterday as they went down to a 3-1 defeat against Title Challenging Kensington Boys Club, speaking after the match Leeg21 wasn't too down hearted at the prospect of playing in Division 3 next season.
"We were lucky last season that we were given a chance to play in Division 2 due to the leagues expansion from 40 to 48 teams, we had a mixed debut season in Division 3, we really struggled early on but once we had got to grips with the competition and built up good understanding between the players we improved massively".
Leeg21 also added "This season in Division 2 has given the team some invaluable experience which will stand us in good stead for next season, with the Division being so tight we have also been able to keep our form high and can expect a good change report despite relegation".

TCM confirm promotion Doon The Park
TCM with a few fringe players included to get valuable ME, finalised their promotion to Division 2 with a hard ground out win at Crossers.
It was Crossers though who drew first blood with a 2nd minute counterattack scored by Roger Stride.
TCM tried and tried, but could find no little way through in a tight first half, A half time teamtalk from boss RDCM and TCM came out on a mission 2 goals within 4 minutes after the break from Cooksey and Henriques was enough to seal the victory and TCM’s promotion.
Boss RDCM was proud of his sides achievements and the progress made in a short space of time since taking over; he congratulated Carfin on winning the most MOTR this season and looks forward to future battles.

(Random Man)This is MADNESS!!
(DaXtremist)Madness? This...is...SPARTA!
DaXtremist then proceeded to kick the poor random man into the pit of doom, showing the lightest of the Spartans punishments.
We wish you all a long existance in the RM Invintational.Except for you Carfin...YOU SHALL BE THE FIRST TO TASTE OUR WRATH!

Champioles Champioles Ole Ole Ole!
For West Brom Strollers fans the dream has become reality, they have been confirmed as Champions of division 1 after a hard fought victory over PSV.
The win came about thanks to a stunning free kick from Bryan Robson then a real poachers goal by Bobby Taylor.
WBS started the day needing just a point to confirm their status as champions, but set out with intention to take all 3 playing a three pronged attack. The gamble paid off.
On the final whistle, hoards of the 5000 strong travelling fans poured onto the pitch to celebrate with their players.
Dinkydave was found in the dressing room "It's a great day for the club, we'd already achieved promotion, which was the main aim but we really wanted the title so i'm chuffed to bits. We've been on a bit of a hiding to nothing this season, we were obviously one of the favourites for promotion so we were always in a no win situation, but we just kept doing what we had to. During the course of the season i'd like to think we've changed the mindset of those people. The defence were immense again today and Robbo and Superbob were just awesome. I also want to say a massive well done to Jimmy and Izu an their promotions, i cant wait to renew the rivalries next season"
The WBS side again featured youngsters Igor Balis (16) and Jeff Astle (17) Dinky was full of praise for his fledglings "Igor and Jeff are the future of this club, the legends of the future. They've been given a chance and taken it with both hands, i'm really proud of them, they're going to massive at this club"
Strollers last match is an away against Pahang who's division 1 status hangs on a knife edge. Dinky told us "i'd love Pahang to stay up, but i need to be fair to everybody in this league, i'll play a team that i think can win the match"

Another thriller
The champs whipped up another thriller again this week. After last weeks game against these charming men the crowds were getting excited and they were served another thrilled between the champs and the dream team in which 2 late goals from the champs sank the dream team to an unfortunate loss
ThunderCats still confident
In a game which Thundercats captain nelson quiemado was rested for 17year old celso diaz the thundercats paid for a lack in midfield experience as they failed to capitalize on 4 of their chances...while santos took 2 of their 5 opportunities...However meelas is very confident still...with a home game as his last and playing against relegated reggae sauce the thundercats hav all the odds for them...thundercats have neva losed a game home..they have only drawn once and won the rest..reggae sauce haven't won any of their last 6 matches...and doesnt hav to good of an away advantage coming in to Thundera Grounds..manager meelas was infact overwhelmed and suprisingly said everything is going according to plan!:s..These were his following words ..." Today we played our biggest threat...as an away match i thought i should play my youth who was in dyer need of match experience..I played him today not xpecting a victory...Captain Quiemado is an asset in our team and was left out..i did this for specific reasons...some may ask..why didnt i play my youth in my final game?..who knows i may well do that too...but i am happy that in the event i win this league..i will do it in front my home fans who hav been a strong 12th man throughout the season..there can be no better way to brign a climax to this league in front my home fans...and it'l make me the happiest manager to bring the trophy to thundera!"
LSK Safe!
Los Samgeles Kings have survived relegation after their first season with new boss Stripy8.Kings defeated Southampton today 5-1 away from home to send the Saints down.A Hat-Trick from Michael Handzus, goal from Ladislav Nagy and an unfortunate own goal were more than enough to see the Kings triumph in this very important game.
Stripy8 will be looking for new talent when the transfer window opens, Especially defenders.Hopefully The LS Kings can do well in the final game of the season versus Belly Tubbies to keep up form for the change report.

Fitzys pledge
Although Fitzy has guided his team to within a point of their second sucessive promotion Fitzy coach ranking has been found to be really poor.
I had a good 6 weeks when I had trouble keeping up with the team and their tactics due to a back operation.
He has vowed to improve greatly next season when he can give his team the time energy and devotion they will need.

Greatness next up
Yorkshire Amateurs look to confirm their place in next seasons top division with victory against F.C Greatness.Greatness have had an excellent first season in the RM Invitational and will be difficult opponents for the Amateurs.Manager Danlufc13 had this to say earlier this afternoon. “Hopefully results will go our way anyway but we can take nothing for granted. We want to remain in this division and defeat against Greatness could see us looking over the precipice. They will want to finish their season on a high and so do we, I expect my players to be busting a gut to ensure we avoid defeat”.
3 Games reports
Viking Land News
Firstly an apology to all for no full match reports for the past 3 matches, a mixture of real life and things happening in other leagues have got in the way.
West Brom Strollers 2 - 0 The Vikings
First half goals from Robson and Taylor were enough to give West Brom the win in a contest in which the Vikings tried hard but could find no way through. Maladenis was sent off which scuppers his chance of 100% me.
The Vikings 0 - 1 Three Lions FC
A solitary goal by Izu Kaka was the difference here. The Vikings thought they deserved at least a point but it was not too be and it's all about the change report from here on.
The Vikings 0 - 1 New York City
An early freekick by Eugene Kameni Idriss was enough to give New York all 3 points and leave the Vikings suffering from their 3rd consecutive defeat.

Point to prove
WBS need just a point to clinch the division 1 title but they're taking nothing for granted against a PSV side who are unbeated in 8, winning 6 of those matches.
"Again, i'll be putting out as strong a squad as i can, PSV are a good side and they've got my full respect. People may think this may turn into a bit of 'after the lord mayors sho' but far from it, i want to win and i know Kadri feels the same way. Yes they may be the odd fringe player used for experience, but on the whole i think it will be a good game. There last few matches have proved they can play and they look a good bet for next season"
Dinky was again asked to comment on the vacant position at SPL side Celtic, "me and the WBS board met today and i'll tell you exactly what i told them, i have absolutely no interest in joining Celtic, my heart is here and i'll be West Brom Strollers manager next season. We talked about potential transfer targets and expectations for next season"
The Division 1 title will be held in the security room at PSV in anticipation of WBS securing the title.

Good run
St Omer made it two wins from two, and stayed unbeaten for five games following a one nil win over Reggae Reggae Sauce.
Despite relegation Cony Tottee is pleased with the way his plan for the club is shaping up, and hopefully a decent season update will keep that going.

cracking game
With the game of the season happening between these charming men and the champs this week threw up a few surprises in the mix. At half time the champs were looking happy holding their opponents away from home 1-1 and keeping them frustrated but the 2nd half began and it was all goals and mayhem that saw these charming men steal points away from the champs in a pulsating 5-4 game
Ferrari Drives Santos Past Totaal
Totaalvoetbal fell to a home defeat at the hands of Santos FC who kept up their title hopes.
The game started in fast fashion as Horacio Metelo hit a free-kick over the wall but, unfortunately for him, straight into the arms of Alvar Rodenas.
Santos’ need for the victory was greater than that of the home side’s going into the game and they quickly put the hosts under pressure. A lob header by Adriano Ribeiro saw Robert Keizer athletically punch the ball away while a minute later Torbjorn Alshammar found the ‘keeper too good also.
The rest of the half was beset by injury problems as both sides suffered misfortune. Fredrick Winnerljung limped off for the visitors before Rob Keizer’s season was ended prematurely. The injury-jinx was complete when Alexis Barrere succumbed to a thigh strain as the half had a disjointed end.
The second-half saw Santos pick up a couple of early bookings as they looked under pressure in their quest to win three points. Shivan Preetnav then went close with a header as the nerves intensified.
A free-kick from Alshammar never really threatened before Preetnav caused more problems for the visiting defence. Beating the defence he hit a precise shot past Rodenas only for it to brush the post and go safe.
The key moment of the game then arrived. A fine cross from Helmer Hedberg deceived the home defence to allow Richardo Ferrari to move in and plant his header past Leemans and into the goal.
Despite a late Metelo free-kick, Totaal couldn’t respond and the three points went the way of the visitors.
Meeblind wasn’t unduly concerned at the final whistle as he took the blame for defeat:
“Sean has out-thought me tactically and, therefore, fully deserves the victory today. They have had an outstanding season to recover from their start. It’s a credit to them.”

Meelas a Point Away
ThunderCats F.C put in a stunning performance to ensure Stanley would not be wresting the title from their grasp. A scintillating first-half display which saw them create seven chances laid the foundations for a 2-1 victory. They took a fifth minute lead as a Paulino Ornelas corner was headed home by Silvio Falcao. Stanley were stunned once more ten minutes later as Falcao defeated them in the air again, this time from an Alirio Ramalhao cross, to double their advantage. Much to their credit, though, Stanley did have a response in the 22nd minute. Enrico Fuentes freed Olli Kaskinen and the midfielder showed nerves of steel to bring his side within one with a brilliant finish. In truth, though, ThunderCats should have had more goals. Juliano Leite twice struck the woodwork while Rascao also brushed the post with an effort. Stanley, were pushed back for large periods of the opening half but had their moments when going forward. The second-half saw nerves play more of a part but ThunderCats finished the game strongly with further efforts from Falcao and Fabricio Cidade; the latter being very unfortunate to smash an effort back off the bar. In the end, however, the two early goals proved enough as ThunderCats went six points clear with only two games left. Markham, generously said that the ‘ThunderCats were superb and fully deserve the title’ whilst explaining that his side ‘were slow out of the blocks’ and this ultimately cost them. Meelas thanked Stanley for their words before adding with caution ‘the title is not mine yet.’
Santos FC are now the only side who can deny ThunderCats the title after they edged out Totaalvoetbal 1-0 at the MVB Arena. All of the first-half chances came in the opening 13 minutes as the game started quickly. Horacio Metelo hit a free-kick tamely at Rodenas before Santos twice forced Keizer into saves. Adriano Ribeiro and Torbjorn Alshammar both had efforts saved by the ‘keeper before he had his season ended early due to an injury. He was joined on the injury list by Alexis Barrere of the home side and Fredrick Winnerljung of the visitors as the half suffered a disjointed ending. Shivan Preetnav and Winnerljung exchanged chances as the game remained in the balance going into the final ten minutes. Preetnav went on to clip a post for the home team before the game had its decisive moment on 85 minutes. A cross from Helmer Hedberg was headed in by Richardo Ferrari to give the visitors a huge goal in the context of their season. Metelo wasted a last-gasp free-kick as Santos held on for the win which delighted coach Sean7. He must now prepare his side for a must-win encounter against the ThunderCats in a fitting climax to the season. Meanwhile, Robin Meeblind explained that his opposite number ‘out-thought’ him and ‘deserved victory’ as his side finish their season quietly.
At the bottom end of the table, Reggae Reggae Sauce continued their slide into the relegation zone as they lost 1-0 at St Omer. Omer thought they had opened the scoring early but saw an effort chalked off for offside. Creating several excellent chances they suffered further misfortune when Rauscher struck the woodwork in a dominant first-half performance. Both sides suffered injuries as Leopold Frost and Raymond Van-Barneveld saw their games finish early. Omer continued their dominance after the break but, despite creating several good chances, struggled to find the finishing touch. However, it would eventually come on 71 minutes as Cony Tottee put in a super corner for Michael Radley to head home to send the home crowd into delight and dreaming of what might be next season. That is Omer’s fifth game unbeaten as they end the season strongly and full of confidence despite a rebuilding campaign. Reggae Reggae Sauce look like joining Omer in Division One next season following a horror run which has seen them lose their last seven games. It is hard to see them turn their form round despite them only being two-points adrift of safety.
AC Milan gave themselves renewed hope in their fight against the drop as they beat Yorkshires Amateurs 3-0 at the San Siro. Milan put together a complete first-half performance to leave the Amateurs beaten. A second minute goal from Ricardo Kaka sent them on their way as he headed home a Brando Pisano cross. Their half got even better after the half-hour mark as they scored two crucial goals which, effectively, gave them victory. Ron Aldinho produced some mesmerising approach play and set-up Victor Moses who finished with panache to double their lead. It was 3-0 on 38 minutes as Kaka added his second goal of the game. After being awarded a free-kick some 25-yards out he unleashed a stunning strike which left Windass helpless and the visitors forlorn going into the interval. The second-half saw Milan close out the game with the minimum of fuss to take three crucial points in their battle at the bottom. MarkieRich will know that if his side can take advantage of a home game with Marseille on Friday safety should be theirs. The Amateurs look to be safe despite the defeat but their manager will want his side to get these results out of their system as they look for a much-improved campaign next time out.
Hun Haters remain in trouble after being beaten 3-0 at F.C. Greatness. After a quiet opening 45 minutes, Greatness took the game to their struggling opponents after the interval. Creating seven chances in a dominant second-half they managed to net three goals. Mario Balotelli opened the scoring on 65 minutes as he headed in a cross from Agostino Bernardi much to the delight of the home crowd who have taken the young forward to their hearts. A minute later and it was 2-0 as Fabrizio Colluato struck a scorcher from distance to leave Boruc with no chance in goal. With Hun Haters offering no threat at the other end, Greatness capped a fine win on 86 minutes as Alvaro Recoba shot home in the penalty area after being played through by Fabio Cannavaro. The win keeps Greatness in fourth with manager Darrencalvert happy with the ‘awesome’ Recoba, Baloteeli and Cannavaro before adding that he is ‘looking forward to the end of the season.’ Hun Haters are still three points clear of the drop zone despite the defeat although they would want to secure safety on their own terms rather than rely on other results going their way. They can do this with a home win over AFC Stanley on Friday.
Tranmere Rovers look to have secured their own position in the RM Invitational for another season as they were the latest team to take advantage of Marseille by defeating their hosts 3-0. The first-half saw Marseille reduced to 10-men following an injury to Rafele Di Muri which forced him to hobble off. Tranmere finally found their attacking game in the second 45 minutes as they created five chances and scored from three of them to leave Marseille well-beaten. Their opening goal came on 63 minutes as Cristian Campagnolo combined with Rex Victory for the latter to score following a free-kick move. Two minutes later and it was 2-0 as Campagnolo, this time, hit a free-kick straight on goal to leave ‘keeper Rossell with no hope. The finishing touches were put on the victory as Zack Whittall set-up Akinlabi Iwelumo on 79 minutes. A brilliant cross from the defender allowed Iwelumo the easiest of headed opportunities to put them 3-0 up. Tranmere are now five points clear of Reggae Reggae Sauce and can rest easily following an up-and-down season which appears to have ended on an up. Marseille, meanwhile, are clouded in uncertainty after their manager claimed that he ‘should not continue with them.’ Regardless, admin Robin Meeblind has moved to safeguard the club’s future in the league as the first ever RM Invitational winners having already spoken to one manager about the prospect of taking over the illustrious, if troubled, club.
