After coming undone at the hands of the current league leaders and champions elect acording to Joshy, his side faced FCR Cressex at The Hayao Miyazaki Stadium. But how would the Anime Allstars handle defeat for the first time in 3 weeks ?
Simple they would walk out onto The Hayao Miyazaki Stadium turf and give it 100% much to the delight of Joshy...
From kick-off Anime Allstars FC would set the tempo and it would be a fast pace. FCR Cressex simply could not keep up in the early exchanges. Just 3 minutes in and Anime Allstars FC were off to a dream start making it 1-0. Kugen Tenko headed home for the hosts following a dream cross from Misaki Kurehaa. Anime Allstars FC would continue their assult on goal and on the 7th minute the home side doubled their lead making it 2-0. Again Kugen Tenko finding the back of the net as Luna Gusuku set her up on a swift counter strike. Anime Allstars FC continued to run the show in the first half as it finished 2-0.
Anime Allstars FC started the second half just like the first half and 4 minutes into the second half they made it 3-0. This time Chobits Chii set up Colin Crouch who unleashed a fine ranged shot. Anime Allstars FC continued to press and on the 66th minute they made it 4-0. Now Colin Crouch set up Johnny Douglas who drilled home the 4th goal for the home side. FCR Cressex fluffed their only real chance in the second half and Kugen Tenko missed a few good chances to grab a hat-trick. When full time sounded FCR Cressex looked happy to walk off as it finished 4-0, had the host brought their shooting boots the score could of easily been double. Later on a pleased Joshy gave these comments and a shock announcement...
" Its very pleasing to bounce back following our first defeat in 9 games. We bossed this game from start to finish and to be honnest i was expecting more from FCR Cressex but you have to give manager Villan_RAS credit few managers would be brave enough to try a 4-3-3 offensive style away from home. As sweet as this victory is our greatest challenge this season is before us not behind us as we face the most important match of the season so far. We have to travel to the Hoppitop ground and face a strong team in the form of Crimson Tigers. If we can overcome them then we have a real good shot at promotion but if we draw or loose its game-over for promotion. If manager Paulc333 thinks we are going there to play for the draw he better think again for we have nothing to loose as they are expected now to be promoted.
On a sad note i have the sad job of informing our fans and supporters that Kugen Tenko decided she wants to retire at the end of the season. We got wind of a young talent and Kugen Tenko offered her slot in the club to the young gun who jumped at the chance. Kugen Tenko made her mind up following our 4-0 victory, saying she wanted to end her career on a high she will be missed but will continue to help the club train for the remainder of the season but is no longer in the sqaud.
