Notorious cheat RobinMeeblind was today blamed for Shay Given's dramatic loss in form over the last few games as his head had been turned at the promise of a move to Totaalvoetbal.
Its reported that RobinMeeblind offered Given twice his pay at Pop Punk plus the cake of his choice from Greggs and with his famous sweet tooth Given was unable to concentrate on performing to the best of his abilities.
Paddy Mckeever had this to say:
They couldn't afford Given even if he was for sale and it won't be long before we're a better club than they are and Shay knows that, he's one game away from following Gordon Browns lead and becoming a legend in the club and he's told me he's not interested in leaving, it was just an obvious ploy to unsettle him as everyone knows about his weight problems and his love of cake
RobinMeeblind has no class, he didn't bid for Given but approached him directly, I'll be reporting him to the FA if I can ever afford to pay my phone bill! Also I'd like to make it clear I'm getting fed up of Pierre van Diemen calling me begging me to buy him, I told him I'm not interested as everyone knows he's overrated!
