Tropical Thunder have today announced plans to sue RM Invitational if they are relegated this season. In a statement released from the club today they have listed what they see as fair compensation after the appointment of a new manager for Leeds United." We feel that tropical thunder have been dealt a bad hand by the league. For the second week in a row the managerless team we are about to face appoint a new manager hours before kick off. We are seeking that all teams above us are deducted 12 points, or we are given 12 million eon compensation."
This may lead to a bitter legal case due to this being the second week in a row that a new manager has been drafted in to face Tropical Thunder. Joejnr was not available to comment directly on the issue, however a close friend commented "The league admin is Robinmeblind, and that is how Joejnr feels. It is a well known fact that RMB is one of the best managers out there, but he is running scared of Joejnr and trying to make sure they get relegated."

Toughest Job In Football
Steve7golding took on the toughest job in football today when he was appointed manager of Royal Navy United.
Wasting no time he quickly renamed the side Leeds United in the hope it would lose the team their losers tag.
"I'm happy Steven is on board. He'll enjoy the competition knowing another couple of managers already in the league." said admin Meeblind.
"I'm pleased we managed to save them (Royal Navy) and while they will take a ton of work i'm sure Steven will have some fun trying to turn them round."

It's looking good for FC Joga
Since the appointment of new manager Jimmy190 things have been looking up for FC Joga Bonito.
Manager Jimmy190 was appointed on the 15th of February after previous gaffer Lewishopes left to concentrate on his official team. Since then FC Joga Bonito have played three matches -
Feb 17th - FC Greatness 1 - 2 FC JB
Feb 20th - Royal Navy United 0 - 6 FC JB
Feb 24th - FC JB - 3 - 1 Three Lions FC
This has left "FC JB" with a vertical green arrow, improved form, and a better feeling of team spirit. As I have said many a time before... we are going for promotion. We are now in 4th with 24 pts. In 3rd are fellow Brazilians Santos FC with 26 pts. However, we do have teams below us as well... who are a constant threat.

Status Quo as Big Three Win
The top three in the RM Invitational all won as it was a case of as you were at the end of the day.
Hun Haters were impressive victors at home to EASTHAM FC. The game was as good as over after a twenty-minute opening burst savaged EASTHAM. Alexandr Prohazska headed home after 15 minutes and the lead was doubled a minute later with a header from Ashton Crosby. With EASTHAM all at sea Ted Caird scored from the penalty spot as a result of some manic defending. The visitors did regroup to score through Ray Hearts but you sensed it was never going to be enough to get back into the game. Further goals after the break from Caird and Don MacArthur completed the rout and kept Hun Haters on course for their first ever RM Invitational title.
Remaining a point behind the leaders are Totaalvoetbal after a 3-0 win at 23rd Professionals. In a thoroughly dominant display Totaal were indebted to the finishing of their forward Pierre van Diemen. He completed a 34-minute hat-trick as Totaal threatened to run up a cricket score. As it was there was to be no more goals after the interval as 23rd Professionals put in a more solid display. Manager Robin Meeblind was pleased with the three points, "It was important to win. While we haven't changed places we've made sure we haven't lost ground."
Completing the three sides at the top are ThunderCats F.C after a hard-fought 1-0 away at Crystal Palace. ThunderCats always created the better chances in the game and a free-kick from Leonardo Borja was enough to claim the three points. Crystal Palace's slim title hopes seem to be over as MarkieRich could only say, "Not good. Another loss." The look on his face saying everything.
Yorkshires Amateurs remain the division's form team following an easy 3-0 win over Glasgow Rangers. Julian Partridge headed home from a cross to lay the foundations for the hosts as they put in a complete performance. Murray Davis finished a breakaway move for his fourth goal of the season before a late Yogender Amarparm goal finished the scoring. Yorkshires' discipline ensured that Rangers would not have a chance in the entire game as young 'keeper Gianluigi Pelizzoli enjoyed a quiet debut.
AS Roma dominated their match with Doncaster Rovers but the lack of a finishing touch cost them. They did manage to score through reliable captain Sid Peyton but this was quickly cancelled out by Noel Mawson. Cathalio has long had his focus on the up-coming change report and there was no change after the game, "My youngsters will have some cr! Junior, Mexes and di Mure all on 17, Bennington on 16, a lot more on 15." All eyes on Roma in a few weeks then.

Sean Steers Santos to Six of Best
Sean7 and his Santos side made it six wins in a row as they moved into the promotion places after a 3-2 win at second-place F.C. Greatness. Greatness had taken an early lead when Martinus Benfari scored after only a minute. With Santos struggling to make an impact the key moment came after 31 minutes when the outstanding Dennis Gyllenhielm was sent from the field. Santos capitalised straight from the restart after half-time when a free-kick move led to Asmar Golkas levelling. Greatness have a lethal free-kick weapon of their own, though, and he was to strike after 64 minutes. Retiring forward Enok Vahlstrom stunning the away side with his brilliance as Greatness retook the lead. The away side kept playing their football throughout the game and were rewarded with a Sonny Ozzinho leveller after 76 minutes. Worse was to come for Greatness as playing with 10-men began to take its toll. Torbjorn Alshammar scoring his tenth of the campaign to dent Greatness title hopes and lift Santos into third. Manager Darren Calvert admitted to concern for his side, "I have three suspensions and an injury. It's not looking good!"
Remaining upwardly mobile are the impressive FC Joga Bonito. Three Lions FC coach Izuka was bullish about the game if not his side's promotion chances before the encounter, "I'm probably not going for promotion but I WILL beat Joga Bonito." What happened certainly did not follow the script as Shinosuke Isimaru shot home for Bonito just past the half-hour. Izuka's teams are nothing if not resilient, though, and they struck back with a stunning long range effort from Zlatan Izuhimovic. Joga Bonito's finishing after the break was to be much improved, however, as Three Lions' recent troubles continued. Isimaru scoring his second from a swift breakaway and legendary Demetrio Delpiano capping his man-of-the-match performance with a clinching third goal. Jimmy was happy to prove Izuka wrong but was already looking at tougher targets, "I am aiming for promotion, and I don't think that should be too hard." he said with a glint in his eye.
Taking advantage of their game with rock-bottom Royal Navy United were AFC Stanley. A match that was never in doubt was settled with goals from Kenneth Bushell, Enrico Fuentes and Thorbjorn Lind. Markham was still looking at promotion when he spoke to the press, "I'm satisfied with the win today and another clean sheet. Four more points will guarantee promotion which was our ultimate aim at the start of the season."
Enjoying a resurgance under Ocs are Goals Aloud who defeated Juventus 5-3. A Constantion de Melo hat-trick was the main source of joy for the home side with a brace from Furgill Bhagirath ensuring the win. Juventus twice had the lead through Marcio Baroncelli and Mairthin Foley but couldn't keep pace with the rejuvinated Aloud and not even a Feliciano Pinardi header could serve as more than consolation.
Tropical Thunder put in a good performance to take a point away from home at Newry City. They had gone behind to a Patric Dokonal shot but kept going and got just reward when Lauro Poggi headed in an equaliser in the 90th minute. It could have been better for Thunder but for a disputed offside goal in the 24th minute, a call that enraged manager Joejnr who failed to attend his post-match press conference as a result.

Comeback Thwarts Vikings
Manchester United came from behind to defeat The Vikings 3-2 at Old Trafford. With both sides looking for promotion it was a tense encounter with lots of twists and turns. The Vikings dominated the opening half but were made to pay for their profligacy. Paraskevas Maladenis scoring their only goal from five chances as United went in level thanks to Talal Shamil. Shamil scoring from United's only chance. Tasos Toursounidis looked to have given The Vikings a vital edge when he scored after 72 minutes but there was still time for a late late show from United. Ghaffur Kamal finishing off a well-worked free-kick before Shamil netted from a corner after 89 minutes to send United second.
Liverpool failed to capitalise on two of the top four meeting, losing 1-0 at home to Real Madrid FC. Ahead of the game Madrid manager Rizzo failed to rule out a push for promotion, "Well you never know do you?" he said tantalising his team's fans. The game was tight until the final ten minutes when it exploded into life. Martin Skrtel hitting the frame of the goal with a stunning free-kick. Dirk Kuyt then looked to have given the hosts the three points with a well-taken goal, only to be denied by a dubious offside flag. Insult then met injury when Davit Ohanesian scored with Madrid's only effort on goal much to Buttons' dismay, "The officials will not tell me why they disallowed Dirk Kuyt's goal, as you can see from the tv replays the goal should have stood, he was clearly onside." Rizzo could only sympathise with Buttons after the game, "We have been beaten like this many times before this season, so I know how Buttons feels."
League leading Kirkbride Strollers had a tough game of their own as they met with a Pahang side not yet clear of relegation. In an open game Dennis MacAvery scored from the spot to give the away side the edge at the break. The referee levelled things up as Pahang were awarded a penalty after 55 minutes, Otto Andersen stroking home with ease. Jordan MacIan restored the away side's lead as the game continued to swing but it was the home side who would have the final say. Heremias Linderman doing his Superman impression in the area when rising high to head home for a crucial point.
Finding themselves further in trouble are Kensington Boys Club after their 1-0 reverse at home to Kroklund Kings. Despite dominating possession and chances Kensington couldn't make it count and it was Kroklund who made the decisive strike. Trudell Conway the scorer after fine work from Jorma Vuohenoja. Patrikpatrik was in a downcast mood as he spoke with reporters, "I don't even know what to say anymore. I'd hate to drop to Division 3 because I don't feel the competition is too tough in any division."
The days big winners were AJ Rovers after a 4-0 thumping of Ripplenet United. Dominating from the outset Elling Jarnoy scored after 12 minutes and they never looked back. Despite suffering minor injuries all the way through the game AJ continued to press and scored further goals through a Sonny Vickerman brace and another effort from Jarnoy. With Ripplenet all but relegated it remains to be seen what the future holds for them. AJ, meanwhile, still need to keep a watchful eye on events below them as the season reaches its conclusion.

Walking in a Winder Wonderland
Midfielder Aaron Winder kept his excellent season going with a stunning hat-trick as Southampton overcame Carthage in a thriller at St Marys. Carthage arrived in brilliant form after three consecutive victories but found themselves 1-0 behind after a Winder shot on 16 minutes. They did level through Hannibal Barca but it was short-lived as Winder slotted home from the penalty spot to give Saints a half-time lead. Joc Cvetkovic made it 3-1 shortly after the restart, hitting home following a corner, and the game looked dead when Winder headed in to complete his hat-trick. Carthage launched a final ten minute onslaught, however, and nearly pinched something. Goals from Marcus Spillane and Hannibal Barca giving the home support a nervous final few minutes. Hold out they did, much to the delight of manager Hardinho, "Woohoo, I beat Blakey and his two-man side. Winder is an absolute legend." Blakey agreed that only two of his players had performed but was at a loss to explain why, "I dunno what the hell happened to the rest of my team. I prepared as well."
Southampton remain 10 points adrift of runaway leaders White Hawk as they duly won again, this time a 1-0 triumph at home to The Fracture gang. The only surprise in the game was that White Hawk could only manage one goal as they set about the visitors with purpose and gusto. Clyde Nageswar netted the winning goal after 25 minutes following fine work from Clarence Ong A Fat. The win leaves White Hawk just one victory away from winning the title that would cap a stunning first season. The Fracture gang found themselves slipping out of the top three due to the defeat.
Replacing them are Belly Tubbies after they edged The Posh 3-2 in an exciting encounter. The Posh got off to the perfect start as Jack Lightbody and Milorad Gavrancic gave them a two-goal lead after just 10 minutes. Belly Tubbies regrouped well to put pressure on the home goal. They were creating good chances and duly got a goal back before half-time through Andras Boloni's speculative long range effort. They were level when Rowan Flood shot in from seven yards and when Phil Fieldwick fired home from a corner the comeback was complete. With just four games to go it looks like a straight fight between Belly Tubbies and The gang for that final promotion spot with the two sides meeting on Friday in a crucial encounter.
The newly rebranded These Charming Men suffered defeat in their first match under Grimeslufc. The performance was encouraging, however, as they took Charlottenburg all the way in a good game. A patched-up home side took the lead at the start of the second-half through Marcelino Legrottaglie's first goal of the season. They then capitalised on a lapse in concentration from the away side to make it two only three minutes later, Teddy Sheringham heading in unmarked from a cross. The away side ensured a thrilling climax when Juan Pablo Castellano headed in from a corner to reduce the defecit but the hosts held on for a win that leaves These Charming Men looking upwards at everyone.
Morley Town F.C. saw their recent winning run come to an end at wortley afc. Morley taking the lead through Angreas Kafka's free-kick after suffering an early blow with an injury to Val Sheridan. Jake Shiver missed a penalty as the home side strived to get back on level terms. They had to wait until the dying stages to manage it as Fabian Damjanovic shot home for a share of the spoils. Town News reported that Morely's "resurgence faltered as they struggled against a team many expected them to beat."

Real Jammy Dodgers
Liverpool promotion hopes took a major dent this evening with a 1-0 home defeat to Real Madrid.Buttons the reds boss had to be picked up after the final whistle as he lay flat on the touch line in disbelief that his side had not won the game.
A win today would have took Liverpool a step closer to a place in division 1 next season. The home team had taken 12 points out of 12 in the last four games and had only conceded 2 goals.
Liverpool started with a 4-4-2 and welcome back Kenny Daglish into the starting line up. Real Madrid boss FredRizzo had predicted that his team may be a dark horse for promotion.
The game was not a classic and all the action took place in the last 10 minutes of the game, Liverpool controled the game with 58% of the possesion but found it hard to break down the Real Madrid defence. The home team where award a freekick in 82nd minute, Martin Skrtel placed the ball about 30 yards from the Real Madrid goal. The big man took a long run up like england fast bowler Freddie Flintoff, the real madrid wall stood with anticipation and fear across their face, Skrtel struck the ball only to see it rebound of the frame of the goal. The madrid keeper didn't even have time to move.
Liverpool had the ball in the Real Madrid net in the 90th minute, Dirk Kuyt played a neat one two with Ian Rush and put the ball into the net as the liverpool players ran to the fans to celebrate, the far side linesman had his flag raise for offside, The tv replays showed that Kuyt was onside by a country mile and the linesman had made a mistake and should have gone to spec savers to get his eyes tested. The liverpool bench where up in arms after seeing the reply of the offside on the big screen in the stadium. Liverpool assistant manager was sent to the stand for protesting vigorously and calling the linesman " A blind wan*er".
Because of the commotion of the disallowed goal the referee added over 4 minutes of injury time.Real madrid had not had a shot on goal up until the 94th minute when they scored a goal against the run of play. The Anfield crowd where absolutley stunned and pin could have dropped in the stadium.
At full time the referee and his assistants had to get a police escort off the pitch as the Liverpool players and backroom staff where ready to tear strips off the officals.
At the post match conference Liverpool manager said"The officals will not tell me why they disollowed Dirk Kuyt goal as you can see from the tv replys the goals should have stood, he was clearly onside. I think we deserved at least a point from the game. Allow real madrid didn't have much of a goal threat they are a hard team to break down away from home when they play 2 banks of 4 across the middle of the park."
Buttons was then asked about the promotion race.
" Kirkbride are 5 points clear and should be division 2 champions soon. Manchester Utd had a great 3-2 win over The Vikings who are the other promotion contenders. Liverpool, Manchester Utd and Liverpool are all sitting on 27 points with 4 games to go. The Vikings are starting to stuggle for form, We still have Manchester Utd to play hear at Anfield and that will decide the league places i think"

Changes afoot in Division 3
It is to be noted that Colburn Town have been bought out by a wealthy bidder who, at this time, wishes to remain anonymous. In line with this new start the team have been renamed and relocated as to help lose the stigma attached to the teams numerous appalling performances over the last season.
Newly appointed manager Grimeslufc issued this statement earlier today.
“I feel I have indeed been weighed down by the huge responsibility given to me by being handed a team that, at this time, feel cheated by such a lack of managing talent. Due to this some of you may have noticed the team have been somewhat under achieving in Division 3, but I feel under my guidance the team will be turned around over the forthcoming season.”
And on the subject of the soon to be closed transfer window Grimeslufc wished to make clear that “The lads are not to be entirely blamed for their work on the field, I wish to keep my current squad rather than buying in new players because with money in the bank and with the wealth of talent in the team I think ‘These Charming Men’ can be a force to be reckoned with.”
Newly appointed manager Grimeslufc issued this statement earlier today.

Cruise for Celticchris
Hun Haters smashed five past Crystal Palace as they returned to the top of the table. It was a display of masterclass finishing as Hun scored from all five of their chances to leave Palace reeling. Filippo Minardi headed home the first after only two minutes for HH to set the tone. An awful challenge on 31 minutes saw Kieron Chillingworth sent-off for the away side and Iain Emery carried off for the hosts. Playing with 10-men proved beyond Palace and a brace from Finlay MacCleir before half-time all but sealed their fate. Craig Elliston and Alexandr Prohazska added salt to the wounds as Hun improved their goal difference. Palace did manage a consolation through Cornelius Orndal but they paid the price for Chillingworth's idiocy and their inferior finishing. Despite the victory Celticchris was refusing to get carried away, "We hope to be able to keep hold of the top spot until the end of the season but we know we have some hard games ahead.."
ThunderCats F.C slipped off top after a stunning AS Roma victory at Thundera Grounds. Despite only having one chance in the game Errol Beddoe produced a devastating finish to give Roma the three points. ThunderCats wasted their chances in front of goal, including a penalty, and had further cause for concern when Nelson Queimado went off injured. Reports coming out of the club suggest that he will only miss one game though, much to the relief of everyone connected with the club. Cathalio beemed broadly at reporters and exclaimed, "What a win!"
Totaalvoetbal and Yorkshires Amateurs played out a 1-1 draw to keep both sides' title chances alive. Totaal dominated the first-half of the game and took a deserved lead through Alexis Barrere. However, the visitors were a different animal after the interval and pressed the home side back. They were rewarded for their efforts with a Fred Franklin equaliser and a share of the spoils. It was a result that seemed to please both managers, "It keeps us both in it and the season is reaching a thrilling climax." said Meeblind. His counterpart added, "I'm happy with a point here, the team keep on improving."
EASTHAM FC stretched the gap between themselves and 23rd Professionals by defeating them 2-1. The teams shared goals in the opening 45 minutes, Terence Sutherland scoring the opener for the home side before Harald Roeder equalised. Joe Urpani was to be the EASTHAM hero when he shot home from a corner after 52 minutes. It was no more than the hosts deserved after a dominating performance.
Doncaster Rovers kept their recent good run going by hammering Glasgow Rangers 4-0. Goals from Walter Axford, Tony Norman and a brace from Derick Maley did the damage. Doncaster still have it all to do to escape relegation but can look forward to the new season with renewed optimism after their recent performances.

Please Don't Go!
Darren Calvert was last seen trying to put together an internet campaign to persuade retiring Enok Vahlstrom into changing his mind. Vahlstrom again played a massive part in F.C. Greatness' latest success, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win at Three Lions FC. Three Lions had the better of the chances but paid the ultimate price for not taking them. Front two Robin van Izu and Izuhimovic both had a bad day at the office as Vahlstrom took centre stage. A free-kick winner after 23 minutes giving him his eleventh goal in eleven games this season and left manager Calvert purring, "With these performances, every team fears him, he's unstoppable!"
Despite their victory, Greatness remained in second as AFC Stanley put in an accomplished display to dispose of Newry City 4-0. Denying the away side any look at their goal, Stanley themselves shared the glory round. Jon MacClintock, Olli Kaskinen, Thorbjorn Lind and Ignado Puntas all hitting the target in the victory. Markham was obviously delighted but spared a thought for his opposing number, "They were missing two of their better strikers through injury.....but my lads were awesome."
Santos FC closed the gap on Three Lions to a single point with a narrow 2-1 win at Juventus. Despite having the better of the chances Santos made hard work of their eventual victory. Going behind to a Mairthin Foley free-kick, Santos then saw Adriano Ribeiro injured as the day threatened to turn sour. A resilient second-half display, however, took them to victory. Goals from Sonny Ozzinho and Torbjorn Alshammar made Benicio Correa's late sending-off irrelevant.
Tropical Thunder's manager jokingly bemoaned his luck this week as their whipping boy opponents found a new manager before their match just as Joe was "ready to play a managerless team and get an easy 3 points." Ocs18's debut as Goals Aloud manager turned out to be eventful as both sides went for the throat in a goal-fest. Howard Harrell saw his opener for Aloud cancelled out by the home side's Geovany Dainelli. Inspired by their manager Aloud retook the lead through a Bruce Weatherstone shot. The second-half resumed in the same fashion as Horatio Minotti equalised for Thunder before heading them in front only two minutes later. Their joy was to only last a minute as Dustin Digby headed in for the visitors to make sure both sides would end up with a point.
FC Joga Bonito took advantage of playing pointless Royal Navy by dishing out a six goal thumping. The star of the show was undoubtedly Demetrio Delpiano who scored five of the six goals to increase his legendary status at the club. Oscar Cervantes was the other scorer as Joga moved to within three points of Three Lions in a very open promotion race. It may be that Jimmy was only half-joking when he announced, "FC Joga Bonito for the title!" just a few days ago.

Seventh Heaven for Strollers
Kirkbride Strollers recorded their seventh straight win after seeing off Kensington Boys Club 4-0. Patrikpatrik was in fine form before the match when quizzed about relegation, "No, me and the boys will sort this out, don't you worry." What followed will not have pleased the Kensington Boys Club manager as Kirkbride dominated a one-sided first-half. Jordan MacIan, Fraser Symington and David Proctor all netting before the interval to give the hosts a 3-0 lead. A second-half goal from Mitsuhiro Sinoda completed the scoring and left Kensington in the final relegation spot. Victory for Kirkbride, meanwhile, sees them four points clear at the top with only five games to play.
The Vikings are in second as AJ Rovers put in a spirited display at Viking Land to take a point in a 1-1 draw. Tasos Toursounidis gave the hosts the perfect start with a header after 10 minutes. AJ continued to battle throughout the game and in the 86th minute levelled matters. The experienced Niclas Ravn scoring his second of the season to give them a vital point in their battle against the drop. Looking ahead to next season their was good news for The Vikings followers, "We are delighted all players are continuing." began Eaglesrjh. "...their continuation will allow us to further develop some good youths whilst keeping the average age up."
Ahead of his side's game with Kroklund, Liverpool boss Buttons was in fine fettle releasing a press that declared, "Bossebong and Kroklund have more chance of winning the lottery tonight than beating us." With that in mind bossebong will have been forgiven for checking his numbers after seeing Patrik Viitala give his side a first-half lead. The game was played at a frantic pace and provided a great advertisement for RM Invitational football. Liverpool managed to produce a second-half comeback that gave justice to such a brilliant game. Javier Macherano and Andriy Voronin netting to put Liverpool into the promotion places. After the game Button gave a succinct view, "Tight was not the word."
Manchester United remain on the fringes of the race after sharing a four-goal thriller with Pahang United. In another open game the hosts twice had to come from behind despite more than holding their own. Mike Westlake netted for the visitors but saw his strike cancelled out by Otto Andersen. Andersen was to score again after 78 minutes after United had previously gone in front for a second time through Walid Muhsin. A point in the end was a fair reflection on an end-to-end game.
Real Madrid were comfortable victors at Ripplenet, beating the hosts 3-0. The game was never in doubt after Kevin Gabriele slotted home after 14 minutes. Alexander Connely scored the second for Madrid before Gabriele scored his second and his team's third to complete an easy win.

History Beckons Hawks
White Hawk FC took another giant stride towards the Division Three title with a 3-0 victory over The Posh. Based on another fine performance from Clarence Ong A Fat, White Hawk held off a spirited Posh side. Fat was to have a big say in the opening goal with a fine pass that allowed Anthony Bokland to race away and score. The Posh played their part in an entertaining second-half but two goals from Ryan Dharmsingh put paid to any hopes they had of a comeback. They remain a side in progress whereas White Hawk are now just two wins away from a deserved title.
Southampton lost ground on White Hawk after fielding another youthful line-up in their match at The Fracture gang. In fairness, The gang were good value for their victory as they created the better chances in the game. They scored early through Darren Houghton but were dealt a blow when Aaron Winder equalised with Saints' only chance of the game. They kept going to the end, however, and scored an injury-time winner through Houghton again. Hardinho was keen to emphasise his plans in the press, "..we have a fairly average squad so the end of season update is vital."
Just two points behind The Fracture gang are Belly Tubbies after they got a much needed win at home to Charlottenburg FC. In a tight game the only goal came just after the half-hour mark when Dave Whittingham fired in a free-kick. They will probably need to find more attacking flair if they are to get into the top three but they have given themselves a real chance. Potsdamerplatz has problems of his own with his Charlottenburg FC side as he looks to the next game, "I've got 3 players suspended. Another seriously injured and a fifth already listed on the transfer market. What a nightmare." To add to his misery it looks like Colburn Town will be announcing a new manager some time within the next 24 hours.
Securing their third win in a row were Carthage FC after seeing off wortley afc. Both sides enjoyed plenty of chances in the 90 minutes but it was Carthage who always enjoyed the edge. Quincy Lansbury getting his second goal of the season with a stunning long range effort. Marcus Spillane sealed the win in the second-half when he was afforded too much room in the penalty area.
Morley Town F.C. got their second win in as many games with an easy 3-0 romp at Colburn Town. It was the away side's front two who did the damage as Roger Farrell grabbed a brace and Kadir Bereket notched inbetween. Farrell did waste a chance for his hat-trick as he missed a penalty but Morley will be happy that their fortune seems to have changed.

Amateurs Defeat Professionals
Danlufc13 picked up his first Manager of the Round of the season as his side maintained their good form to increase talk around the club that the title might still be a possibility. Hans Riegler produced a regal midfield performance to set up all three goals in a comprehensive win over 23rd Professionals. Gabriel Mohan headed in the first and a second-half double from Julian Partridge completed the scoring for the home side. Jeremiah McNally had briefly equalised for the Pros but they were clearly inferior to their hosts. Two serious looking injuries, one for each side, dampened the atmosphere inside the ground as the season reaches its climax. Dan was in confident mood going into his side's must win clash with Totaalvoetbal, "We've ended one unbeaten run by beating ThunderCats F.C earlier this year and now we want to end another."
Totaal themselves suffered a disappointing evening as they were held by basement side Doncaster Rovers. In a tight and competitive game it was the usually reliable Pierre van Diemen who fluffed his lines, spectacularly missing a penalty to blow his side's chances. While the point does little in aiding Doncaster's efforts to avoid the drop it will surely provide a morale boost going into the final few games.
ThunderCats stormed back to the top of the table thanks to a stunning midfield display by Nelson Queimado. Leonardo Borja and Lourenco Manjerona scoring good goals but playing second fiddle to a brilliant hat-trick. It was the latest in a long line of great performances from the young captain who will surely go onto being one of the all-time greats at the club.
Two young sides clashed at the strangely named Estadio El Madrigal. Home side AS Roma securing a dramatic point after a 91st minute equaliser from Stanko Marincic. Hun Haters had taken an early lead through Don MacArthur but a red card to Ted Caird gave the initiative away and allowed Roma a way back into the game. Hun remain in a good position though just one point behind the top two.
Crystal Palace had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to EASTHAM FC as they tried desperately to force their way back into the title mix-up. Shefki Kuqi had given them the lead but a heartbreaking 94th minute free-kick by Elton Barkworth gave EASTHAM just reward for their attacking endeavour. Markie was quick to say, "No chance now, needed to win tonight" but with big games still to come there's every chance of more twists and turns in the title race.

Musical Chairs Continues
In an incredibly tight division AFC Stanley were the side sitting on top after another exciting round.
Stanley took advantage of playing Goals Aloud to re-establish themselves at the top of the table. It turned out to be a day of mixed emotions for new signing Macelino Montez. Making his debut after putting pen to paper the night before Montez was to score his side's second goal after Ignado Puntas had put them in front. Disaster struck for the midfielder, though, as he suffered an injury that will keep him out until March, a cruel blow for the player and manager. Kirk Armitage scored a third goal for Stanley as they blitzed their hosts in the first-half. The second-half was a non-event but Goals Aloud did manage a consolation. Rowley Kinsella scoring his third goal of the season for a well-beaten home side.
F.C. Greatness were the side usurped at the top as they fell to the rebranded FC Joga Bonito. A penalty from 'keeper David Sattler gave them the perfect start as they stifled any forward momentum Greatness tried to muster. It was more of the same after the break as Zenon Zagajewski doubled the lead on 51 minutes. Martinus Benfari raised home hopes when he netted but anything other than victory would have been harsh on an impressive away side. A clearly delighted Jimmy190 said, "Beat first place away. Couldn't have asked for much more from my first match. Very pleased."
Remaining in the top three are Three Lions FC after being held 3-3 by Juventus. Robin van Izu and a Carles Izuyol penalty had put the home side 2-0 up at the break but a resilient away side fought back. Mairthin Foley put them back into it before a penalty of their own levelled matters with Alberto Morante scoring it. Robin van Izu scored his second of the game to restore the home side's lead but a Foley free-kick deep into stoppage-time ensured this game would finish 3-3. Izuka was quick to defend the result, "I didn't play my best side this last game. Izuhimovic and others did not play."
Newry City closed the gap on the promotion places with a routine 3-0 win over Royal Navy United. Muharem Husic and a Archibald Woodlands double fired them to victory although it was tempered somewhat by a bad injury to Dale Heaton. Fortunately first reports coming out of the club suggest he will only be out for a week or so.
Completing the sides fighting it out for promotion are Santos FC after they defeated Tropical Thunder, also by a 3-0 scoreline. An early Torbjorn Alshammar goal laid the foundations for the win. Sonny Ozzinho scored a second from a corner before Alshammar scored again, his eighth of an impressive campaign. Joejnr seems to have resigned himself to relegation but is "hoping the change report goes in their favour" and a swift return to be possible if the worst does happen.

Strolling to the Title?
Kirkbride Strollers claimed top spot in Division Two after a magnificent 2-1 away win at Manchester United. Securing Manager of the Round for his tactical performance Jazza1958 will be delighted with his side's win. Billy Maneater headed home after 37 minutes after they had withstood some early United chances. The second-half was better for the Strollers as they asserted themselves on the game. Strangely enough, though, they found themselves pegged back after Walid Muhsin escaped his marker and finished well for a battling home side. However, a late penalty from Dennis MacAvery was enough to win the match and send Kirkbride away with the three points.
Slipping from the top spot are The Vikings who fell to a 3-1 defeat at an in-form Real Madrid FC. The only goal of the first-half fell to the visitors. Clint Bonavia netting his third of the season to give his side the half-time lead. The second-half was a different animal as Madrid laid seige to The Vikings goal. An early equaliser from Willie Rhodes set the tone for the half and things would only get worse for the visitors. Bonavia was to be sent-off as they conceded two late goals. Alexander Connely and Rhodes again on the scoresheet as Madrid moved up the table.
Level on points with Madrid are Pahang United after a tough battle with AJ Rovers. Despite creating all the game's chances Pahang could not find the finishing touch as Rovers held firm for an important point. With neither side pushing for promotion it looks to be at the other end of the table where their focus will lie for the remainder of the season.
Falling into the relegation zone are Kensington Boys Club. The man with the midas touch struck again as Buttons led his Liverpool side into the top three. Kenny Dalglish scored his fourth goal of the season to send the hosts on the way. In truth it was a tight encounter but a long range effort from Dirk Kuyt sealed the win for a satisfied Buttons, "2-0, into the promotion places." said the matter-of-fact manager.
Moving off the bottom are Kroklund Kings. Taking advantage of a poor Ripplenet side the hosts scored a goal in each half. Curt Elliott netting in the first before turning provider for Michel de Nostredame in the second. Only five points from safety is there still time for Kroklund to produce a Houdini-like effort and escape?

Morley Magic
Leeg21 was a happy after his side won their first game as an RM Invitational team. Belly Tubbies were the victims as Morley put in a confident performance that belied their league position. A disappointing Tubbies were put to the sword with goals by Dustin Wotton and Jarvis Greenhalgh in the opening 17 minutes. Greenhalgh added a third before half-time as Morley cut open the visiting defence at will. Sources from inside the club indicated that the players and manager enjoyed some bonding time after the victory as reward for their hard work.
Belly Tubbies missed their opportunity to enter the promotion places as The Fracture gang suffered defeat at the hands of The Posh. Despite fielding a youthful line-up Leeds-Fan will have been delighted with the win as his team put in a backs-to-the-wall performance. Soaking up pressure The Posh put in a sterling defensive effort and were rewarded when they scored with their only chance. A pacy breakaway move ending with Kenneth Caster blasting home. The Fracture gang will be looking to sharpen up their finishing in the few days before their next match after contriving to miss all six efforts on goal.
The game of the day saw Charlottenburg FC and White Hawk FC clash at The Ruth Bader Ginsburg Arena. In a very even contest the match swung from side to side. After a relatively quiet opening 45 the match exploded after the interval. Benjamin Wenzel opening the scoring for the home side on his debut. The hosts suffered an unfortunate injury to Tony Adams and then saw Clarence Ong A Fat equalise from a corner. Adan Donahue put the visitors into the lead before a breathless final few minutes. Helmut Montag looking like he had secured a point for the home side with a fine header only for Ruud Sparendam to break hearts in the 92nd minute to keep White Hawk clear at the top.
Southampton lost ground on White Hawk after a 3-3 draw at wortley afc. This wasn't completely unexpected, though, as Hardinho himself admitted before the game that he would be "putting out a weaker side." The Saints started brightly enough and were rewarded with the opening goal after 16 minutes. Niko Tervola the beneficiary of a Jim Hotte pass. wortley afc turned the match around in an 18 minute spell before half-time. A penalty was duly despatched by Walter Willock before a quality header from Brandon Hiller saw them go into the sheds 2-1 up. Tervola quickly equalised after the break as Southampton came out with renewed determination. Willock looked like he had denied Southampton with his second goal of the game. Southampton weren't to be denied, however, and Norman Hemmings scored a 90th minute equaliser to end a pulsating encounter.
Carthage continued their recent scoring form by putting a poor Colburn Town side out of their misery. Quincy Lansbury scored an early goal before Marcus Spillane took over. In a show of excellent finishing Spillane scored three super goals to bag the match ball and the three points for an upwardly mobile home side.

Totaal Delight at Thundera
Totaalvoetbal won the clash of the top two at Thundera Grounds to leapfrog ThunderCats. In a topsy-turvy game the match lived up to all expectations. ThunderCats were to take an early lead through Silvio Falcao but were pegged back by a Robin Boschker header. With ThunderCats continuing to push they regained the lead through Falcao just before the hour-mark. It wasn't to be enough, however, as first Abbas Erol headed home and then playmaker Shirsh Vajpayee thumped home a long range effort to send Totaal away with the three points. Meeblind was full of praise for how his side went about their victory, "We've had to withstand a lot of pressure....and attacked with quality when given the opportunity."
Hun Haters returned to their usual selves with a 5-0 thrashing of Glasgow Rangers. A brace from David Mailer and further goals from Finlay MacCleir, Ashton Crosby and David MacArthur made sure that this rivalry has been well and truly won by the Haters this season. The margin of the victory wasn't lost on manager Celticchris who said before the match-up, "...we hope to take advantage of this (manager absence) by humiliating the team which will also boost our goal difference which could be important as the league is so close at the moment."
Crystal Palace saw their title hopes fade as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at 23rd Professionals. It looked good for Palace early on when Lou Stamp opened the scoring after 8 minutes. Their joy proved to be short-lived as first Lennox Beard stroked the ball home and then Hjalmar Grandin scored from a well-worked free-kick to give the Professionals a much needed boost in their battle against relegation. MarkieRich seemingly threw in the towel in his team's title chase when he said, "Poor result for me, thought my team had turned the corner. Just too inconsistent, that's my title challenge over!"
One of the league's form teams won again as Yorkshires Amateurs defeated Doncaster Rovers 4-2. An inspirational performance from youngster Kit Bigelow set the tone for the Amateurs as he netted twice with further goals from Hans Riegler and Julian Partridge. Doncaster did keep fighting and managed to net through Walter Axford who hit a fine double. Amateurs manager Danlufc singled Bigelow out for praise in his post-match interview, "Kit has a great future at this club and played a blinder today."
EASTHAM FC pulled off a fine 3-1 home win against champions AS Roma. The sides shared strikes from Elton Barkworth and Johnny Douglas before two late goals from the home side settled matters. Ray Hearts scoring in the 81st minute with a quality header before a late breakaway from Rex Victory sealed matters as Roma tried to push for an equaliser. Roma manager Cathalio explained the direction of his club to the fans in this open letter, "This club decided after a successful 4 games that they wanted to build up big for the future and worry about the side's form." Going onto explain that relegation wouldn't necessarily be a disaster, fans have to put their faith in Cathalio and will look for brighter things next season.

Greatness Awaits Calvert
Darren Calvert kept his F.C. Greatness juggernaut going with a crushing 4-0 win at Juventus. On the back of a double over Portsmouth, Juventus would have been in high spirits going into the match but it wasn't to take Greatness long to knock them out of it. A free-kick by that man, Enok Vahlstrom, opened the scoring after 7 minutes. His tenth goal of the season acting as inspiration to the rest of the team. With a creative element in midfield Greatness created chance after chance while snuffing out any threat at the other end. They had to wait until the latter stages to add to their lead though. Leader of men, Agostino Filippinetti, scoring a quick-fire double to seal the win. His first coming from a corner while his second was a thunderous strike which left the result in no doubt. Anselmo Breda was able to add a fourth deep into stoppage-time to see Greatness go to the top of the table. Zidane spoke to the press after the game and was full of praise of Filippinetti, "he's been in great form, leading the team and scoring the goals."
Slipping off top spot were AFC Stanley who lost by the odd goal in five in a thriller at Santos. In a very tight game Stanley will count themselves unfortunate to have lost but the more decisive finishing won the day. Stanley took the lead after 9 minutes when Jon MacClintock fired home. This only seemed to spur the home side on, though, and a header from Fredrick Winnerljung just one minute later levelled matters. Two goals from Torbjorn Alshammar gave Santos a grip of the game but Stanley showed great character to roar back into contention. Thorbjorn Lind scoring his seventh goal of the season to set up a grandstand finish but try as they might they just couldn't find the goal that would have seen the sides share the points.
Three Lions FC got back to winning ways with Izu being his modest self post-match when proclaiming, "I'm the best manager in Div 1." In a game which saw no less than ten chances it came as a surprise that only one goal was to settle matters. It came courtesy of a Cristiano Izuldo shot after an Izu Kaka corner. The result sees Three Lions in the thick of the title race and Tropical Thunder still five points adrift of survival.
The team Thunder need to catch are Portsmouth who continue to freefall. Newry City were the latest side to add misery to Lewishopes' side, doing the damage by going 3-0 up. Two breakaway goals from the impressive Muharem Husic and an own goal from Oscar Cervantes looked to have sealed the victory for City. Portsmouth did come storming back when first Cervantes put right his own goal by netting at the correct end and a breakaway effort from Shinosuke Isimaru made it 2-3. They couldn't complete the comeback and, in truth, it would have been harsh on a good Newry City side who still sit just outside the top three.
In the battle of the bottom sides Goals Aloud dominated Royal Navy United but could only manage one goal. Royal Navy offered little in the way of attacking play but Goals Aloud's lack of confidence was telling in front of goal as well. In the end they had to wait until the 86th minute for Dustin Digby to give them a much needed win with a fine header.

Rizz does the Bizz
Real Madrid FC manager FredRizzo was tactically spot on and rewarded with Manager of the Round as his side defeated Pahang United 2-0. In a game which saw them set-up in a 4-5-1 formation they restricted any Pahang forward movements and ensured a quiet day for Nersesian in goal who didn't have a single save to make. Creating six chances of their own Kapo Kachadorian headed home after four minutes to give Madrid something to protect. They did this with relative ease as inspirational captain Artin Bedirian led by example with a peerless display. The win was rounded off with an unfortunate own goal by Puiu Caragiale but at least he can say he managed to have an effort on goal such was the limpness of Pahang's all-round performance.
A match that provided no surprises was The Vikings 2-1 victory over Kroklund Kings. Disappointed Kroklund manager bossebong consoled himself with a 1.8m pools win but bemoaned his side, "..my team performed as it always does, worthless." In truth, it was a tight first-half which produced little in the way of excitement. The Vikings were able to crank it up after the break, however, and Damon Strachan netted his second goal of the season to give them the lead. Seven minutes later and it was two when forward Vassilis Papakostas was afforded too much space in the area and made Kroklund pay with an assured finish. The aptly named Bosse Bong did give his manager something to cheer with a stunning free-kick but it proved too little too late for the division's basement side.
Remaining a point behind The Vikings are the Strollers of Kirkbride who recorded an impressive 2-0 win over AJ Rovers. Both sides had plenty of chances in an open and entertaining game but it was Jazza1958's side who came out on top. The prolific David Proctor showing his intelligence to find just enough space to poach his sixth of the season. A late header from midfield man Billy Manetteer sealed the victory which keeps Kirkbride pushing for the title and AJ nervously looking over their shoulder in anticipation of a relegation battle.
Completing the promotion places is Manchester United after they stretched their unbeaten run to four games. Travelling to Patrikpatrik's Kensington Boys Club they produced a stunning first-half display to shellshock their hosts. Manny Stamford, Nenad Ljaljic and Sture Kiltorp all netting in a 42 minute period which left those watching breathless with the excellence of the finishing. Mohammed Khadduri impressed once more in midfield with a couple of assists but it was Bashir Wazir who reminded viewers of a youthful Beckenbauer with his attacking intentions from the back. Kensington can console themselves that they won't come up against such a performance every week.
Buttons led his Liverpool side to success at Ripplenet as they continued to breathe down the neck of Manchester United. As last week, Liverpool produced a display which soaked up a lot of possession and chances but delivered a cutting edge at the other end. Martin Skrtel once again netting with a free-kick to give the visitors the lead. It wasn't to last long as Ripplenet kept pressing and were rewarded with a Ralph Marnoch goal, ironically from a breakaway. Liverpool weren't to be denied, though, as Dirk Kuyt dispatched a penalty to send the Scousers home happy and still dreaming of promotion.

Carthage Carnage
Blakey0500 led his team to an eye-catching victory over the previously in-form Belly Tubbies. On the back of four straight victories Tubbies went into the game high on confidence with Carthage the opposite after a run of defeats. It didn't take long for the roles to reverse, though, as Ad Herbal headed in for the visitors after 20 minutes. A five-minute spell just after the half-hour mark really settled the contest. Hannibal Barca firing in from a corner to put Carthage 2-0 up and Belly Tubbies in need of inspiration. The two men controlling the game for the visitors were Alastair Higson and Quincy Lansbury. Lansbury tormenting the Tubbies at every opportunity and Higson finishing with the coolness he is known for. Higson duly converted the third after being set through by Lansbury and when Marcus Spillane scored the fourth after 37 minutes the game was up. Belly Tubbies kept going in the second-half but a late double by Higson completed his hat-trick and a miserable afternoon for the hosts who fell out of the promotion places.
Taking their place were The Fracture gang after a 2-0 victory over Charlottenburg FC. The busiest man on the field during a fractious first-half was the rather not so Irre Levant. He took centre stage again at the start of the second-half when he sent off Darren Anderton for an unspeakable act which results in the midfield man being banned for four games. The Fracture gang then pressed the away side back and created a number of chances. They had to wait until the 84th minute to open their account, however, with Stephen Lorimer netting in his first start of the season. Yoshitaka Karahira headed home just before time to complete the win which sees Charlottenburg adrift in fifth. Potsdamerplatz was in philosophical mood after the game, "Promotion hopes are now officially gone but hey, as I said at the start of the season, it was never a realistic goal."
Remaining top of the pile are White Hawk FC after another victory in their relentless campaign. Morley Town were the unfortunate victims as they more than matched their more illustrious visitors for large periods. Indeed, had Morley scored the goals their play merited in the first-half they could have been two or three up. As it was White Hawk grew stronger as the game went on and got the winner from captain Ryan Dharmsingh who headed home after 67 minutes. Leeg21 was left feeling deflated by his latest loss, "Our luck this season has completely deserted us..........we can't even buy a win, our luck has to change soon."
Southampton continue to chase White Hawk hard after another comprehensive victory. The Posh were the visitors to St Marys and endured a miserable afternoon where they failed to create a single chance. Tor Bergstrand setting the hosts on the way with an early strike. Further goals from Joc Cvetkovic and Aaron Winder completed the 3-0 win as The Saints continue to amaze manager Hardinho, "This season is turning out to be miles above our first intentions and I just hope that we can continue it through to the end of the season and complete promotion."
Colburn Town suffered another defeat as their manager remains awol. This time wortley afc were the ones to benefit as Jake Shiver put them ahead after only a minute. Shiver was to complete a hat-trick as he was given the freedom of Colburn to do as he pleased during a comfortable afternoon for the visitors.

Heads Up Yorkies Defeat Cats
Yorkshires Amateurs twice came from behind to throw the title race wide open by defeating ThunderCats F.C 3-2. Isaac Rafferty had given the Cats a first-half lead when leaping highest from a corner. It was a short-lived one though as the Amateurs got their first of three headed goals. Julian Partridge doing the damage from a corner delivered by the magnificent Vince Brightwell. The game continued to to-and-fro as Izet Hadzic nodded the visitors back in front after 68 minutes. Yorkshires Amateurs were to show plenty of fighting spirit as first a header from Murray Davis levelled matters before a Yogender Amarparm effort stunned the leaders. Despite the victory Danlufc had his thoughts on bigger things as he continues to mould his side, "consistency is the key" being the main message to a side on the up and up.
Totaalvoetbal moved to within a point of the leaders when they returned from Scotlands Shame with three points. Abbas Erol and Shirsh Vajpayee had looked to put the visitors in complete control before a late wobble nearly cost them dear. A cracking free-kick from Craig Elliston brought the Hun Haters back to life before Ted Caird fluffed his lines from the spot to gift the Dutch three points. Robin Meeblind was honest enough to agree with Celticchris that the latters tactical mishaps had helped his side land the double.
The most impressive win in the division came when Crystal Palace defeated AS Roma 3-0. Nick Carle set Palace on their way with an early poached effort in the area. Paul Ifill doubled the lead shortly after half-time before Carle put the gloss on the scoreline late in the day. The mutual appreciation between the managers was clear to see as Cathal admitted he "blew it" before adding his congratulations. Markie was over the moon with his victory and with, in his words, "finally beating Cathal".
EASTHAM FC leapfrogged Glasgow Rangers courtesy of their 5-0 victory over them at THE OVAL. An own goal began the scoring as the unfortunate Sabahattin Sabanoglu put through his own net. An Elton Barkworth double plus goals from Rex Victory and Terence Sutherland ensured an easy day for the hosts.
In a tight defensive match-up Doncaster Rovers picked up another priceless point as they attempt to move from the foot of the table with a 0-0 draw at 23rd Professionals. Xpertelevener will see this as a point gained away from home as surely his side's home form will determine their status for next season.

Lions Lose to Lind Strike
AFC Stanley recorded their second win over Three Lions FC in a matter of days as a Thorbjorn Lind goal was enough to settle a tight encounter. Stanley based their win on the impressive performance of their defence and hard-working style of Garry Molseley up-front. Markham was eager for his side to get the praise they deserved, "We were magnificent again tonight" and was also still lavish in his praise of Izuka when stating he was "the best manager in the league." Izuka, could only say in the scribble that his "real life is more important", we can only pray the self-proclaimed "good-looking" Izuka hasn't fallen into female hands.
Keeping pace with Stanley are F.C. Greatness. Once again Enok Vahlstrom was their hero as he notched his eighth and ninth goals of the season to lead his side to a 2-1 victory over Tropical Thunder. Diego Cutolo was their scorer as defeat sees them slip four points from Santos FC and safety. Vahlstrom was modest about his performance when stating he was "just doing my job the team." Darren Calvert was heard saying the forward's name over and over, this coupled with joining in the celebrations by "diving" on them has led to rumours about the closeness of Calvert and Vahlstrom's relationship. Fans could care less though as the hitman looks to lead them into the promised land of the RM Invitational.
Newry City are the closest to upsetting the promotion places after their routine win at Goals Aloud. Muharem Husic scoring his sixth of the season to put the visitors in the lead before Henry Elshot and Archibald Woodlands completed the victory after half-time. Despite sitting in fourth place they are still four points behind Three Lions so will need to carry on their good form.
Juventus franked last week's form by completing the double over Portsmouth. They had to do it the hard way though as Demetrio Delpiano had given the hosts a first-half lead with a fine header. Juventus provided a second-half masterclass in finishing though as Orlan Canito scored from long range, Mairthin Foley finished off a breakaway and Canito added his second from close range to seal a 3-1 victory.
Royal Navy United lost again as Santos knocked four past them. Richardo Ferrari scoring a speedy double to put the visitors 2-0 ahead before further goals from Sonny Ozzinho and Fredrick Winnerljung completed the scoring.

Royal Navy United lost again as Santos knocked four past them. Richardo Ferrari scoring a speedy double to put the visitors 2-0 ahead before further goals from Sonny Ozzinho and Fredrick Winnerljung completed the scoring.
'Pool Pip Profligate Vikings
An impressive display by Pepe Reina, some wayward finishing by The Vikings and a quality free-kick by Martin Skrtel were the ingredients for a 1-0 home victory for Liverpool over The Vikings. An early strike from Martin Skrtel sent the home fans wild as they sensed the scalp of the previously undefeated Vikings. The visitors went about trying to get the goal back with some long range efforts, striking the woodwork and testing Reina in the process. In the end though it wasn't to be as Eagles bemoaned his side's luck when commenting "how did I lose with 58% possession and 7-2 chances!" Buttons, obviously delighted with the victory reminded anyone in doubt as to how football was settled when saying, "It is not possession or shots that count, it is the scoreline."
Kirkbride Strollers took advantage of this slip-up from the leaders by moving to within a point of them at the top of the table. After a chanceless first-half a five minute burst at the beginning of the second settled matters in their match with Real Madrid. David Proctor scoring his fifth goal of the season with a header before Fraser Symnington settled the game with a well struck free-kick. Defeat sees Real Madrid FC four points from safety and in need of a victory against Pahang in their next match.
This may be a tough ask if Pahang's last match is anything to go by. Based on a defence that gave nothing away Pahang defeated Kroklund Kings 3-0. Henning Gassner, Heremias Linderman and Holger Pfitzner sharing the goals as a delighted TrueBlue beemed, "I'm delighted with last nights game. All my players did well, especially the defenders." In bossebong's most recent press conference his mood was less upbeat, hoping that the "season will end soon."
Kensington Boys Club bounced back from going a goal behind to Ripplenet to record a 3-1 victory. Despite the early Ralph Marnoch effort for the away side the hosts created some good chances. Hector Lormor was to get a brace either side of half-time, a pinpoint header being followed by an effort from a free-kick. Max Myer sealed the victory with another header. It wasn't all good news though as Patrikpatrik reported that his defender Barry Painter "is still off with a horrible back injury." More performances like this though and the defender's spirits will be surely lifted.
Pakya received the Manager of the Round award as his side had the better of the chances in their game with AJ Rovers. United will bemoan their finishing touch though, not least when Ghassim Abdul-Salam missed a guilt-edged penalty opportunity in the 92nd minute. United remain in the promotion spots however and with only three points separating the top three a title challenge could yet be on the cards.

Belly Tubbies Feed off Fitz
A Manager of the Round performance from Fitzy kept Belly Tubbies in the thick of the promotion race in Division Three. Despite conceding most of the possession Belly Tubbies gave a display of attacking precision creating chance after chance. Carlton Dickinson heading home the first after 51 minutes for his second goal in only two starts this season. The game was back in the melting pot when wortley afc scored with their only effort on goal. A well-taken shot by captain Quincy Bowey giving the home fans something to cheer. It proved to be short-lived however when Jarred Burkinshow capped a man-of-the-match display with a free-kick of true quality to give Belly Tubbies a 2-1 win.
Remaining four points above Belly Tubbies are Southampton following their 3-1 home win over Colburn Town. A brace from Norman Hemmings and an injury-time effort by Leopold Beazley rendered Pablo Castellano's effort a mere consolation. Despite the victory Saints' manager Hardinho was unhappy with the "far from convincing" nature of the performance.
Still on top of the pile are the peerless White Hawk FC. Another day, another win for Hooraymee's side with Carthage FC being the victims. Ryan Dharmsingh got the hosts off to a flier with a second minute strike. Jazmique Lattizze doubled this before half-time with a well worked free-kick. Producing a better second-half performance Carthage responded through the impressive Hannibal Barca's penalty. It wasn't enough though as Adan Donahue settled matters for Hawk late in the game.
Pushing to force their way into the promotion mix are The Fracture gang. A 93rd minute winner from Favio Polonia giving them the points against Morley Town F.C. The visitors had taken a 27th minute lead through Kadir Bereket, who netted his second goal of the season. The second-half belonged to the gang though as Cristovao Borba equalised before Polonia's late late strike.
The division's other game was a hard fought battle between Charlottenburg FC and The Posh. A game which ended with 50-50 possession and 4-4 in chances will therefore have surprised no-one with a 1-1 scoreline. An early penalty from Wade Ellison for the visitors being cancelled out by a bullet Stan Collymore header.

ThunderCats Roar
ThunderCats F.C put an end to Yorkshires Amateurs recent upturn in fortunes with a comprehensive 4-0 victory. Silvio Falcao set the ball rolling with a 25th minute opener. This was quickly followed by goals from Nelson Queimado and Isaac Rafferty to put them 3-0 up by the break. An unfortunate injury to Freddie Roos and a penalty by Juliano Leite completed Amateurs' misery. Manager Danlufc13 feeling delicate today due to laying down the law after the "most inept performance of my time here" left him fuming.
Usurped at the top by ThunderCats are Hun Haters who were defeated 3-0 at MVB Arena. A Pierre van Diemen hat-trick boosting Totaalvoetbal to one of their best performances of the season.
Crystal Palace and AS Roma (Villarreal CF) remain locked together after a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park. With chances for both sides they will be hoping to improve their finishing going into the rematch next week.
At the foot of the table Doncaster Rovers got their season underway with a 4-2 win over 23rd Professionals. In a thrill-a-minute encounter Tyrone Barratt, Walter Axford, Derick Maley and an own goal provided Donny with some much needed relief. Xpertelevener keen to stress though that they need to "pick up as many points as possible" as they strive to stay in the division.
EASTHAM FC failed to climb above Glasgow Rangers after a late equaliser denied them a crucial three points. Joe Urpani had put EASTHAM in front only for Cesar Monparlet to equalise. They hit the front again after 76 minutes with Elton Barkworth finding enough space in the penalty area to finish well. However, a late Dante de Matteo free-kick made sure the status quo remained between the sides.

Stanley Knife Lions
The top of the table encounter at Wembley Stadium saw AFC Stanley defeat Three Lions FC 2-0 to go to the top of the table. A brilliant five minute spell after the interval saw first Enrico Fuentes stun the home support with a long range shot and then star striker Garry Molseley head emphatically home to secure victory. Markham was full of praise for Izuka, calling him "one of the best managers in the league" and was already focusing on the return game and asking his team to "repeat tonight's performance." Izuka, on the other hand, beomoaned his players' lack of form and put the result down to that without any credit for Stanley. The return match should indeed be interesting.
F.C. Greatness opened up some space between themselves and fourth spot with a 2-1 victory at Tropical Thunder. All the goals came in a frantic opening half-hour as both sides flew out of the traps. Diego Cutolo's effort for Thunder being sandwiched between two free-kicks for Enok Vahlstrom which made it seven for the season for the veteran forward.
Continuing their poor recent form Portsmouth found themselves out-thought by a great managerial performance by SuperJuve. His Juventus side coming out 2-1 victors thanks to Mario Baroncelli's 67th minute strike. Teams traded first-half goals, Mairthin Foley netting for the home side with Shinosuke Isimaru providing the only bright spot on a poor day for Pompey.
Santos FC used their game against Royal Navy United to find some much needed form. In a one-sided encounter Richardo Ferrari scored a double with Asmar Golkas and Fredrick Winnerljung completing the rout.
The division's other struggling side found no joy at Newry City. A routine 2-0 victory leaving Goals Aloud with an uphill struggle if they want to escape relegation. Muharem Husic and Arnold Atlee settling the game in the first-half.

Vikings Raid Scousers
A dominant display by Eaglesrjh's The Vikings saw Liverpool's recent good run come to a crashing halt at Viking Land. Liverpool never recovered from conceding a 10th minute free-kick to Anastasios Tassiopoulos as The Vikings strengthened their position at the top of Division Two. With Viking Land News reporting that the win "increases chance of promotion" these are exciting times for Viking followers. Late goals were added by Vassilis Papakostas and Ted Tolley to give the scoreline a more emphatic look.
An impressive performance by Pakya set the foundations for his Manchester United side to stay four points adrift of the leaders with a 3-0 success of their own. After a tight first-half against AJ Rovers, United broke through after the interval with Sture Kiltorp netting. The exciting talent that is Mohammed Khadduri added a second with a stunning free-kick before Ghaffur Kamal put the gloss on the scoreline late in the game.
Level on points with United are Kirkbride Strollers who ground out a hard fought 1-0 win at Real Madrid FC. In a game of few chances the winner came in the 89th minute to break Madrid hearts as David Proctor scored his fourth goal of the season for the Strollers.
Kensington Boys Club benefited from Madrid's defeat and also took advantage themselves by winning 2-0 at Ripplenet United. Jeremias Bray the hero for Boys Club with two goals which saw the side escape the relegation zone. Defeat for Ripplenet though sees them firmly entrenched at the foot of the table.
In the division's other game Kroklund Kings and Pahang United played out a 0-0 draw which created little excitement for the fans.

Saints March On
Southampton maintained their grip on one of the Division Three promotion spots with a 3-0 win at Colburn Town. In a match dominated right from the off Southampton created nine chances with Philip Haynes, Harold Hankers and Tor Bergstrand scoring the goals. Manager Hardinho was certainly keeping an eye on the table when stating "5 points clear of staying in this division". Promotion is definitely on the agenda at St Marys.
The division's game of the day saw leaders White Hawk FC win by the odd goal in five at Carthage FC. Looking to maintain their dominance of the division White Hawk flew into a 3-0 lead after 35 minutes. Inspired by the 'Fat man' goals from Charly Chan Jet Soe and a brace from Clyde Nageswar looked to have put White Hawk on course for a comfortable win. Inspired by Blakey's half-time blast though Carthage flew out of the blocks and got one back from the penalty spot. Guido Eliseo the scorer who then produced a devilish corner for Ad Herbal to head home to set up a grandstand finish. They will count themselves unfortunate not to have taken at least a point despite their poor start.
Completing the promotion slots are Belly Tubbies after they saw off wortley afc 2-1 at Flabbyland. They got off to the perfect start with a strike from Andras Boloni after only a minute. Walter Willock did level for the visitors as they continued to play their part in an entertaining game. Belly Tubbies did have the final say though and appropriately enough the superb Colin Deary got the goal his play deserved to send the home faithful into raptures.
Slipping out of the top three were The Fracture gang. An impressive performance by Morley Town F.C saw them held to a 1-1 draw. Morley themselves have had a tough start to life in the RM league but with a tough, uncompromising manager at the helm promising "major changes" if they don't pick up some much needed wins Morley could be destined for better things very soon.
Bouncing back to form after a defeat to the gang were Charlottenburg FC, inspired by a display of managerial expertise by Potsdamerplatz. Alan Thompson was the hero as he struck a brace before half-time and received the champagne for a Man-of-the-Match performance. The Posh, looking very youthful will be hoping for good improvements in the change report as they build for the future.

Hun Haters Hit Heights
Hun Haters hit four against Glasgow Rangers to hit the RM Invitational summit earlier today. A determined Celticchris made sure his side would not fall victim to a Rangers team in freefall. Goals from Craig Ellistion, Iain Emery and a brace from Michael MacPherson ensuring a relaxing evening. Quickly moving on to loftier ambitions Celticchris spoke of his desire to "achieve what we were unable to last season and win the RM Invitational".
Totaalvoetbal proved the draw specialists once again as their match ended 1-1 with ThunderCats F.C. A Leonardo Borja lob giving Meelas hope of picking up three points before a late Horacio Metelo free-kick made sure the points were shared.
Moving level on points with Totaalvoetbal are Villarreal CF who had a welcome return to form for manager Cathalio. EASTHAM FC were the visitors and made their mark by taking the lead on the half-hour mark through Ray Hearts. A Bernardo Almeida penalty levelled matters before Errol Beddoe struck after 71 minutes to give Villarreal the three points.
Another side on 14 points are Crystal Palace after a 1-1 home draw with 23rd Professionals. Manager Nick_23 receiving Manager of the Round for his efforts as Lennox Beard equalised after Carl Fletcher gave the home side a first-half lead.
The most impressive performance coming at The Thorp Arches with Yorkshires Amateurs slamming six past Doncaster Rovers. Murray Davis (2), Hans Riegler, Freddie Roos (2) and Yogender Amarparm all helping themsleves to goals in this one-sided contest.

Three Lions Roar
Izuka saw his Three Lions FC side continue to set the pace at the top of Division One after a goal from Luca Tonizu finished off a breakaway move early in their game with Tropical Thunder. In truth it could have been more as they wasted chances against an out-of-sorts Thunder.
The days big winner in the division was the modest Darrencalvert who saw his side defeat Juventus 5-1 and then pronounce "How good am I?". Martinus Benfari was the star for Greatness with a second-half hat-trick. Other scorers being Agostino Filippinetti and Paolo Serena as Feliciano Pinardi was the only Juve player to make any contribution of note.
Just above Greatness in the table are the impressive AFC Stanley. Quietly going about their business of building a very good side Markham led his side to a 2-1 win over Santos FC. A late winner from Matts Wallman settling the game after Enrico Fuentes and Yogender Pragurd had scored in a very competitive first-half.
Slipping out of the promotion places are Portsmouth after they were held 2-2 at Newry City. It could have been worse but for an inspirational comeback after finding themselves 2-0 behind after an hour. A Muharem Husic brace putting the home side clear before Oscar Cervantes matched the feat with a double of his own.
The day's other game saw basement sides Goals Aloud and Royal Navy United meet at Hoppitop Ground. Goals Aloud running out 3-0 winners due to Rowley Kinsella, Trevor Fazackerley and Constantino de Melo. They even had the luxury of a missed penalty when Srebrenko Cacic misfired from the spot.

Buttons Shooting for the Moon
Miracle worker Buttons made sure his Liverpool side remained upwardly mobile with another managerial masterclassin Division Two. Goals from Ryan Babel and Kenny Dalglish ensured a 2-0 win over Ripplenet United although an injury to Albert Riera will have caused him some concern. Reports in Button press indicated that the manager would be aiming for more awards.
Meanwhile at the top of the league The Vikings kept their unbeaten streak going with a hard fought 0-0 draw at bossebong's Kroklund Kings. Although edging chances and dominating possession The Vikings could not find a way past a determined Kroklund side and will have to make do without Tasos Toursounidis in their next match after his late sending-off.
Keeping up their recent good form are Manchester United who stormed into second place after a 3-1 win over Kensington Boys Club. The game was over as a contest after 31 minutes with goals from Sture Kiltorp, Nenad Ljaljic and Mikel Medina stunning the away side. A free-kick from Jeremias Bray proving no consolation for Patrikpatrik who was heard mumbling "I thought I was a contender". At the moment he may settle for climbing out of the relegation zone.
Hovering just above the dreaded drop zone after a 1-0 defeat at Pahang are Real Madrid FC. A late long range strike from Henning Gassner breaking Madrid hearts and giving TrueBlueFC cause for celebration.
In another 1-0 scoreline Kirkbride Strollers edged out AJ Rovers thanks to a clinical strike from captain David Proctor after 15 minutes.

Hawks Continue to Soar
White Hawk continued to set the pace after the latest round of matches in Division Three of the RM Invitational. Playing at home to Morley Town F.C. goals from Ruud Sparendam and Clarence Ong A Fat allowed White Hawk to feast on another three points. Morley Town manager did not pull any punches in his assessment of the team, "...the worst performance I have ever seen on a football pitch.." bemoaned the beleaguered boss.
Doing their best to keep pace with the soaring Hawks are Southampton. Their latest success a 2-1 win at The Posh. A late penalty from Jim Hotte sealing the win after Gianmarco Siligardi and Harold Hankers had traded goals. Manager Hardinho claimed the Manager of the Round award although in his modesty he was heard saying "dunno how mind" in response to how he won it.
In the battle of the 11 point teams it was to be The Fracture gang who would triumph in their clash with Charlottenburg. Stan Collymore's brace for the home side proving not enough as Garry Maynard, Joel Weymouth and Bruce Deary all netted in a hectic second-half.
Leapfrogging Charlottenburg were Belly Tubbies. In an even looking game at Carthage FC it was the superior finishing of the away side that won the day. Andras Boloni, Miles Prenderville and sub Carlton Dickinson meaning that Eric Fray's strike was nothing but a consolation.
In the division's other clash Colburn Town won by the odd goal in five at wortley afc. An injury-time winner from Tomas Riano breaking wortley hearts after they had come back from two goals down.

On the Button
Interviewer: Hi Buttons and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this interview.
Buttons: Thanks very much.
Interviewer: You are new to the league! How do you like the league so far?
Buttons: I am new to xpert eleven in general, I have been in a couple of league that had no forum activity, no scribble and it was boring as hell so i left them. I then found Hardinho league(Xpert international) which is very active. Robin then told me about his league "Rm invitational". I have been in the league for a couple of week now and the scribble is active and the banter is brilliant. Long may it continue
Interviewer: It is always going to be a tough job turning this team around but do you think that you have faired well so far in doing so?
Buttons: I have played 4 games in the league so far. my record( 2 wins and 2 loses). I am not expecting to do anything this season i will be happy as long as i dont get relagated. I carried a little bit of luck in my last game against Real Madrid. The goal was scored in the 92nd minute and it was an o.g.
Interviewer: You were busy in the transfer market, buying 4 players and bringing 1 player from the youth. Are these players going to be your key players this season or just little helpers?
Buttons: I bought 2 midfielders to shore up the middle of the park and a defender as well. As poet John Heywood once quoted "Rome was not built in a day". it will take me a few seasons to get my team where i want it but it is achieveable.
Interviewer: Finally, where do you expect to finish in Division 2 this season?
Buttons: I will be happy as long as i finish in division 2 and i am not relegated
Interviewer: Thank you Buttons and good luck for the rest of your season!

Buttons: Thanks
Cathal Cheer
Lewis: Hi Cathal, thanks for taking the time to talk to us today, congratulations on being crowned RM Champions. How do you feel your league campaign will go this season?
Cathal: I don't have a clue but the victory yesterday... uh... was amazing! I went mad! I think our biggest competitiors are Totaalvoetbal and Thundercats F.C but who knows how it will go?
Lewis: Robin has his team in the league now, do you see Totaalvoetbal as this season's biggest title threat after his impressive campaign last season?
Cathal: As I said above he and Thundercats are the biggest threats! I don't worry about other teams untill I face them so I will cross that bridge when/if I come to it!
Lewis: After this season is all said and done and some Division 1 teams are into the top flight fray, do you feel the league can be won by any team?
Cathal: No, I don't think Portsmouth, Three Lions, Santos etc. will win the league! They are very good teams but 23rd Professionals will be awesome then and there are teams like Thundercats who will be great then, and God knows where I will be then!
Lewis: Thanks Cathal for doing this interview.
Cathal: No problems Lewis! :D

Izuka Interview
Mickey: Hi Izuka and well done on winning the VIP prize how do you feel?
Izuka: Hey Mickey, well, mate, of course it's always nice to pick up a prize or two. We've had a great first season in RM Invitational, the club winning Division 2 and me the Pools, and we hope for just as good a second season. Cathal has the RM Invitational trophy? Ha! I picked up just as much money from the league and also a VIP prize
Mickey: You also made money on the pools tipping as well do you think everyone should try every week?
Izuka: Of course they should. It gives everybody a great chance for more funds, and that was the main reason I played the Pools. I made a decent 7m or so out of it. Truth be told, at first, I didn't even know there was a prize until one of Robin's official PRs to encourage people to join the Pools.
Mickey: How did you pick the results?
Izuka: Aha, now that's my secret, mate. I take into account many things, team strength, team form, manager skill, but I may have already said too much now.
Mickey: Did the prize on offer make you remember to do the pools every week?
Izuka: Well, we weren't exactly the strongest team in our division last season and because of that, I needed to hire professional coaches to keep the lads in top form. That was the main reason I went to the Pools every round, to make money for the side. I was never confident of taking the lead off Cloud early in the season but once I did, I never looked back.
Mickey: Well done on this prize and I hope you have a good attempt at winning it again next season.
Izuka: Thanks, mate. Bossebong will have a different format going this season and there's a bigger prize on offer so I guess that will help me to do better.

Potsdmaerplatz Pressed
Interviewer: You are in Division 3 to start. Do you feel that it won't be long until you fight with the big boys???
Potsdamerplatz: Well I think it will take 2 or 3 seasons to achieve promotion but I'm confident my team will click eventually. In every one of my other Xpert Eleven leagues I've started at the bottom and worked my way through to the top division. I enjoy a challenge. I wouldn't have it any other way!!!
Interviewer: You have brought in some promising new youngsters who look promising like Jamie Carragher who has already been compared to Jamie Carragher of Liverpool F.C. How do you feel about that?
Potsdamerplatz: I always like signing younger players although I know it costs a fortune in form training to get their skill up a bar at the Change Report. Jamie Carragher, Rio Ferdinand and Darren Anderton are all hot prospects and I'm sure they will have a long and successful career at Charlottenburg. Unlike my other leagues where I've taken the continental approach, in RM Invitational I will be signing top English players who have played in the Premiership over the past 15 years. And if you ask me, the real Jamie Carragher is MUCH better than Gary Neville.
Interviewer: What are your goals for this season???
Potsdamerplatz: To finish in a respectable mid-table position. As long as I don't finish bottom of the group I will be reasonably happy. We need a good Change Report though at the end of the season. If my younger players don't all get at least a 1 bar update each then all the hard work will have been for nothing.
Interviewer: And lastly, you only have 4 midfielders and the season starts in one week. Are you planning on signing some more players for midfield???
Potsdamerplatz: I am currently in the market for a new midfielder right now and we hope to parade him in front of the fans by the weekend. Fortunately, we have money in the bank and 2 more signings can be made if necessary.
Interviewer: Well, thank you Pots for joining me for this interview and good luck in the season to come.
Potsdamerplatz: Thanks Cath and good luck to all managers throughout the league. Our first opponent Hardinho is a top manager and if we can get a draw at Southampton in our first match then it will be an excellent result. Charlottenburg FC will hopefully be like Aston Villa a few years back. A lot of promise and they will keep on getting better and better with each passing season.
Interviewer: And eventually screwing up! Hahaha!!!
