Totaalvoetbal picked up six valuable points in their double-header against Hun Haters over the past week.
A 5-0 home victory was followed by a 3-0 away success which moved the Dutch giants into second spot in the table.
William Ralph Dean set them on their way in the home match and further goals from Rodney Shuttlewood, Pierre van Diemen (2) and Edwin Hayter completed the win.
The return match was closer but Totaal won out thanks to van Diemen, Bryan Robson and Shuttlewood goals.
However, the wins haven’t been enough to quell mounting speculation at Metelo Park that Robin Meeblind might be looking for a new challenge.
The manager himself, though, was keen to distance himself from such talk:
“Well, I was interested in taking up a coaching position at Underdogz United but Izu never contacted me; instead he preferred to talk to my coaching staff here at Totaal.
“I think with our combined knowledge we could have turned United into one of the top dogs of the division if you’ll pardon the pun.
“However, it was a non-starter and I concentrated on getting six points against Hun.
“Now, following Meelas’ announcement, we have much speculation regarding the ThunderCats job.
“They are a massive club, one of the best in the league. However, I don’t think it would be right for me to take on that challenge. What could ThunderCats offer me that Totaalvoetbal can’t?
“So, I’m here to stay and won’t be happy until I can challenge West Brom on a more regular basis.”

The Perfect Round
Gooners made the headlines for all the right reasons in round 12 of the RM Invitational Div 3, after problems with injuries and games where it was really two points lost rather than one point gained, they finally set their season alight and will no doubt make their rivals now take them seriously.
Gooners were away to EspÅda ® a team they beat in round 11 although with no real conviction, it was a cold wet afternoon at Hucö Mundö stadium but it didnt dampen the spirits of the crowd as they readied themselves for more attacking football from the flamboyant Gooners. Gooners already on an eleven game unbeaten run were surely favourites and as the the players came out from the tunnel the away supporters got their first look at Yanuar Kembung their latest signing a 35 year old midfilder thrown straight in at the deep end. This player is a real show man and he didnt dissapoint doing a lap of honour whilst kissing the badge and playing up to the cameras.
The truth be known this player wasnt first choice and came in for a small fee of one million econ so no one knew anything about him, but this manager usually has an eye for a bargin and all this was about to change. The away fans also gave a massive welcome to Isak Råberg their number one who was badly injured recently and today made the bench... a massive boost to Gooners season as they aim to start hitting the form they are capable of. Although Råberg was back in training the manager decided to stick with Felipe Lima who after a dodgy introduction then kept a clean sheet in round eleven and has hit some real form of late. In the earlier press conference the manager had asked his player to finish more of the chance they make and noted this as a weakness... as although the defence has only recently been put together they have gelled immediately only letting six goals slip past them.
Well the game kicked off and Gooners played their usual pressure game going man to man in a bid to over power their opponents and the home team seemed to stutter like a rabbit in the headlights. Gooners made the pressure work and managed many a chance all of which were saved or hit the post.. it was beginning to look like another one of those days. In the twentieth minute Kyle Lang picked up a yellow and you could clearly see the anger as he knew now he would miss the round thirteen tie with Alsancak F.C his previous club (this must be a sale they now sorely regret) but Gooners didnt get frustrated and kept the ball well having all the possesion the manager seemed to have got the tactics just right and was barking orders constantly from the touch line. Their new signing Kembung was really up for it and central to everything and in the forty first minute it all payed off when Kembung flighted the perfect ball for Shilton to head home. Many of Gooners goals have come from the head and teams are having real problems with that aspect of their game. After the first goal the nerves settled and they continued to keep the ball and were constantly attacking.
Although it wasnt until after the break that they really came alive, whatever the manager said to his players it really seemed to get them firing right from the whistle. One minute after kick off Shilton scored again with a violent shot from long distance. This really fired up the crowd, who were cheering "THERES ONLY ONE BRODERICK SHILTON" this in turn fired up shilton who was now determined to get his hatrick Iniesta scored from a corner on the fourty eigth minute to make it 4 - 0 and Shilton got his hatrick in the fifty fourth minute with a close range shot. With the score at 5 - 0 the pressure continued at the same pace with manty more attempts on goal! All that was missing now was a goal from debutant Kembung and he finaly got his chance in the seventy seventh minute with a unselfish assist from Kevin Royale.. he went mad the crowd went crazy and the manager seemed to take it all in his stride. The home fans could only clap in appreciation at what they had just seen, right now they are playing some fantastic football but if they want to take the title they will need to remain unbeaten all season.
We caught up with the manager as he was presented with his first ever manager of the round award and he had this to say... Today was a perfect day for us in every aspect to win away from home in such style was amazing. Kembung has warmed immediately to the fans and our confidence and experience grows ever larger. The only downside was Kyles card and i feel for him but all thats important now is keeping this form and steering clear of injuries. I would also like to point out during this 12 game unbeaten run we have used all the squad and everyone in the team has been fantastic but as always i only ever look to the next game and were out to prove something against Alsancak F.C.

Double Header Joy
It was a case of "job done" in the recent games against Krokland Kings. In truth carbonmonoxide knew he had to get six points to keep Splott in the promotion chase and will be happy with these results. The first game was a routine 3-0 with the recalled striker Ravage grabbing 2 goals and another "fantastic" free kick from Reed Fantastic who is having a fine first season for the team. Splott also dominated the away fixture but could only convert one of their chances and nearly paid for it when the ref awarded a dodgy penalty to the Kings. Luckily goalkeeper Johnny Ghostrider had the game of his life and promptly saved it, earning his side a 1-0 win and 3 precious points.
Next are 3 games which could decide who wins the league this season against Carthage, Arsenal and Belly Tubbies. There are, of course many, other teams in with a shout but these are 3 big teams and the matches are bound to be hotly contested. First up are Carthage and carbonmonoxide will have revenge on his mind after their recent defeat to them. He even rested striker Venom to make sure he didn't pick up any needless bookings before this game. CM told the press "we did what we had to do against Krokland and now our only thoughts are of revenge, our players are fired up after their boss wrote them off and I notice they could only manage a draw in their last game, while our lads are in the form of their lives. We have won 6 out of 6 of our home games and I believe we can make it 7 out of 7 come Friday"

Dramatic division 1
Kensingtonian manager PatrikPatrik has a worried look on his face most days and looking at the seasons results, few could blame him. The latest win was the 7th so far but 5 losses have stamped the team as unreliable at best.
KBC are in luck though, as practically every other team have had the same misfortunes with their results. There are only 6 point separating would-be-promoted KBC and relegation-fearing Hicktown Hillbillies.
In division 2 this gap is 13 points, the top flight sees Tranmere trailing 15 points from Kirbride Strollers.
Division 3 teams can not be relegated but the hypothetically equivalent team has 17 points separating them from the third place.
The current third-place will surely please fans but a loss in the upcoming match versus Villarreal could cause KBC to start tumbling downwards again.

The End
This is not a give up resignation..its just that it makes no sense..setting tactics the morning before for everymatch so far..and iv managed to remain in the top 5...west brom strollers is now the best..and im reallly tired of this tactics thing..im done with 2 of my leagues already...this was the last...well this is the last...congrats to west brom strollers..i see a bright future for you...but i think iv done enough..2 seasons and bein in the tops is enough to leave..i feel accompished as a manager but really is not in the mood for xperting...after today i think the league has slipped away and managing jus to stay in the league especially wen im really fedop of managing isnt enough to keep me...im sorry for the abrupt leave but i think my team deserves a better manager ...iv got final year exams around the corner and xpert is really the last thing on my mind..im just not that interested anymore...look at the time im chekin my match report..5 hours after ...rather than 1 minute after like before..i havent form trained my team as usual as well and im not gion to have them suffer ...i hope a great manager would take over...cuz its a great team...GOODBYE TO XPERTELEVEN
Frozen
The Santos express has been halted immediately, after a dismal spell of seven straight losses has prompted the manager to lock himself in the manager's office, reportedly eating half-cooked ramen noodles and singing Madonna 90s hits. The players have been concerned with their manager's behaviour, and the losses have given an all time low for morale. The once strong home advantage that Santos had enjoyed had its record tarnished with 3 home losses. Icicles have been forming around the team's winning streak.
Manager sean7 could not be available for extensive commentary, other than saying
'theres no point in placing the blame,
as you should know i suffer the same,
if i lose you/my heart will be brokennnnn!!!'
There was no mention of the 'you' he was referring to, though many suggest he could be referring to the team.
Has the manager gone bonkers? Or does he just really like Madonna's music? that remains a mystery..

beelenkamp show
One man show! That was the last two games. Wainman was a legend last season but it has been beelenkamp the goal scorer this season. With no recognisable leading striker in the squad the veteran midfielder has stepped up to help the team lead the league. So well done to him. Lets hope his goal touch continues. Looking good so ar to gain a promotion to head up to the top league. Everyone is training very hard in the squad and are looking to piting their skill aainst the top flight. Total disrespect to the division 1 league managers. :)
6 Wins out of 7
Kirkbride Strollers made it six wins from seven matches after demolishing Santos FC 4-0 on their own ground. This win was as easy as the score suggests with 10 chances to 4 in favour of the men from The Bush. This win also makes it 5 clean sheets in a row.
Strollers took the lead in the first half when Stephen Robinson scored his seventh of the season with a shot from a corner. The second half was one way traffic and 3 further goals from Wills, Maneater and Ellison tied up a victory which rockets Strollers up to third in the league.
Manager Jazza1958 was in an exuberant mood after tha match and said "We were awesome from start to finish and are the form team in the league. We have a very tough match at Totalvoetbal on Friday so I will only allow the players one night on the lash to celebrate. The round is on me!!"
Fridays match at Metelo Park will be the true test for the emerging Strollers team as they try to prove themselve the best of the 3 promoted teams. The fans of Kirkbride were heard to sing "We are the one and only Strollers" Diknkydave may have something to say about that!

Taking Full Advantage
We are aware Pahang have been without their manager for some period now. This is out of our hands, we had a lucky draw in that we played them twice on the bounce and it was crucial we came out with 6 points to lift us in the table, give us some momentum and rotate the squad a little. All which we have done, from now on it's back to business, our next game is absolutely huge against Hicktown Hillibilies, they are around us in the table and a win will do our survival hopes a great deal of help.
St Omer 1 - 5 Arsenal UK
Arsenal took another 3 points from St Omer in a solid 5-1 away win. Manager Brown had put alot of faith in young striker Vela who performed very well, he seems to already paved a way for himself in this team with performing to twice his skill level a couple of times.
Arsenal are now upto 4th as they try to recoup some of the lost points from their bad patch.

West Brom Land Blow
West Brom struck first in the battle at the top as they defeated ThunderCats 2-1 at The Hawthorns. The match more than lived up to expectations with Leonardo Borja forcing Carson into an early leg save. West Brom’s first effort saw Tony Brown curl wide while the other chance of the half fell to the visitors but Nelson Queimado could only loop a header off-target. ThunderCats would take an early lead at the start of the second-half, though, as Paulino Ornelas steered in a fine shot. Darren Moore forced Magro into action from a powerful shot moments later and the home side began to find their attacking fluency from this point on. Brown would hit a shot over before Lee Hughes powered in a header for the equaliser. Silvio Falcao nearly restored the visitors’ lead but he mishit his shot and it trickled against a post while Hughes lobbed over at the other end. Hughes headed wide but West Brom would find the go-ahead goal as the brilliant Cyrille Regis planted a diving header beyond Magro. Brown forced the ‘keeper into another save while Carson punched away from Carlos Partini to ensure West Brom would go away with the points. DD was happy with what he called a ‘good’ win and explained that forward ‘Regis is still on fire.’ Meelas will know the importance the return match has for his side now as they look to close the gap at the top.
Manchester United were impressive winners as they defeated AFC Stanley 4-1 at Old Trafford. An early free-kick saw Darren Gibson hit an effort too close to Hessbo before he hit another one wide minutes later. United would hit the front on 11 minutes as Eric Cantona slotted home a penalty before Wayne Rooney brushed a post with a powerful strike. Cantona would toe-poke over as the chances kept coming while Gibson hit yet another free-kick over. The set-pieces would continue to arrive with Hessbo denying Gibson before Jon MacClintock put a header over in a rare raid by the visitors. United would double their advantage before the break as a precise header by Ulrich Kischko evaded Hessbo and found the corner of the net. More chances followed in an entertaining second-half with Rooney heading well-wide. Stanley would improve also and Garry Molseley thought he had them back within a goal but was flagged offside. Alan Martindale would reduce the deficit, though, with a flick header on 58 minutes only for a lob by Cristiano Ronaldo to restore the two-goal cushion four minutes later. Kischko would hit a half-volley wide before defying a tight angle on 65 minutes to make it 4-1. Stanley saw Molseley demand a save out of Kuszczak while Hessbo produced excellence at the other end to stop a Michael Carrick header. Kirk Armitage wasted a headed opportunity for Stanley while Kischko shot too close to Hessbo as the half continued to ebb-and-flow. Molseley added to the visitors’ woes by getting sent-off for arguing while Armitage put a late header wide to complete a miserable day. United are now in fourth at the halfway stage and with a consistent run of form a high finish looks more than possible. Stanley News admitted that ‘Markham33 has a lot of hard work to do to lift his players’ but the experienced manager is sure to get a response out of them for Tuesday.
The Vikings picked up a big three points at Underdogz United as they won 2-1. An early free-kick saw Aris Almanidis put the visitors in front while Zlatan Izuhimovic was denied by Connely at the other end. This would be the last of the goalmouth action in the opening 45 minutes and the game would remain tight in the second-half. Thorbjorn Lind hit a stunning strike against the bar as the visitors looked to extend their lead and they looked like paying for this miss as Izuhimovic shot home from a corner on 76 minutes. However, Tomas Master would defy a tight angle to put The Vikings back in front on 85 minutes and it would be a lead they would keep. After the game a war of words broke out between the respective managers. Izu blamed the defeat on his coaches while Eagles retorted that ‘the buck stops’ with the manager and he should ‘stop making excuses.’ The young manager did manage to get the final word, though, adding that the ‘excuses were legitimate’ and explained at his age he is ‘hardly allowed to be the manager of a top-flight club.’ The return match promises to be interesting.
Kirkbride Strollers kept up their excellent form as they disposed of Santos 2-0 at The Bush. Billy Maneater had a shot saved by Rodenas while Torbjorn Alshammar’s shot was saved by Hill at the other end. Rodenas produced more excellence to deny Maneater while Robbie Mitchell hit a free-kick over for Santos as the game continued apace. Keith Ellison would be the next to miss a chance for the hosts while Mitchell hit a free-kick wide for the visitors as the half finished goalless. Brian Wills started the second-half by heading off-target for the Strollers while he also shot wide on 64 minutes. The chances continued to fall to the forward and he was unfortunate with a diving header which struck a post but he did get his goal on 66 minutes by shooting past Rodenas from a tight angle. Hill kept the hosts’ lead intact as he punched away an Alshammar header and the Strollers took advantage with Stephen Robinson finishing off a breakaway move for a second goal on 84 minutes. Jazza said his side ‘deserved the 3 points’ and added that they ‘are closing in on (their) target of a top 5 finish.’ Sean7 has seen his side fall out of the top two and they now occupy eighth following a disappointing run; the manager will be desperate for three points which will get them back on the right track.
Sanity Clause made it three games unbeaten as they defeated Tranmere 1-0 at Darkdale. Boguslaw Stanczuk powered in the goal on eight minutes after Tranmere failed to deal with a corner. The visitors tried to respond but Marten Wessman shot wide while Karsten Seibert’s lob unfortunately bounced clear off the bar. Geomar Altieri did have the ball in the net on the stroke of half-time but was denied by a dubious offside call. The second-half saw Adam Mlynarz have a header saved while Altieri shot wide as Tranmere continued to be frustrated. Sanity Clause had the final chance of the game but Ginel Aluna couldn’t make a headed chance count and they had to settle for a 1-0 win. Crismorena appears to have his side moving in the right direction but only time will tell whether they can make a move out of the relegation zone before the season ends. Baz is in exactly the same position with his Tranmere side and will put big importance on winning the return match on Tuesday.
Totaalvoetbal were the day’s other winners as they comprehensively outplayed Hun Haters to record a 5-0 win. William Ralph Dean powered in the opener after only two minutes and the forward might have made it 2-0 a minute later but got his header all wrong. Rodney Shuttlewood would make it two moments later, though, with a powerful strike while Dean hit a post with a fine strike on the half-hour. Bryan Robson would hit a shot over before Pierre van Diemen headed home the third before the break. The second-half was a quieter affair with the visitors having a free-kick from Alasdair Logan saved by Rimmer. The hosts hit back and went 4-0 ahead through a mishit Edwin Hayter shot and the rout was complete when van Diemen placed a shot beyond Boruc on 70 minutes. Robin Meeblind was ‘content’ with the win but warned against ‘complacency’ ahead of the return fixture. Celticchris’ side look doomed following the defeat and the remains of the season will need to see them improve their form to safeguard some of their players’ futures.

Beelenkamp Boosts Bonkers
Bonkers were rewarded for their attacking intent against Yorkshires Amateurs with a 2-0 home victory. A free-kick by Stefan Beelenkamp gave them a lead on three minutes as he gave Bicanco no chance with a powerful effort. The Amateurs nearly responded straight away but Glyn Arnold’s header hit the angle and Bonkers escaped. Garry Maynard would shoot wide as the home side went back on the front foot and Yoshitaka Karahira headed in only to be denied by the assistant referee. Neo Clemence did make it 2-0 on 39 minutes as he shot past Bicanco in the area but the ‘keeper did stop Chris Sutton making it worse moments later. The second-half saw a more even contest and Scotty Raymond had a chance to pull a goal back but put his shot wide. Edip Bayrak was unfortunate not to make it 3-0 as his shot struck the angle while Beelenkamp wasted a free-kick chance. This wouldn’t come back to haunt the home side, though, and they ultimately picked up the three points which saw them hit the top of the division. GarethLloyd was disbelieving when he heard his side had reached the summit but Bonkers News was more positive when they reported that ‘the plan for domination of this league continues.’ Meanwhile, Danlufc13 will be working out how to counter Bonkers and have his side return to the top on Tuesday.
Real Madrid reached the top three in the division as they defeated Villarreal 2-1 at Estadio El Madrigal. Samvel Mortanian drove in an early opener as Madrid set about the contest with real purpose. Mortanian would have another chance later in the half but mishit his shot and the ball went wide. Stu Mackay would then head off-target while Claudio Moura also struggled in front of goal for the hosts as his mishit shot never troubled the goal. Mortanian saw a chip punched away by Rossell while Moura lobbed over as the half finished in exciting fashion. Madrid opened the second-half with a chip by Pasi Lintu and it was inches from making it 2-0 as it crashed back off the bar. Teige Aran would then head at the ‘keeper before they did finally make it 2-0; Lintu shooting home despite facing a tight angle. Jonathan Boulding responded by thumping in a free-kick for the hosts but it wouldn’t be enough to launch a comeback and Madrid took the three points home. Fred Rizzo will realise the division is extremely tight but will be confident of a promotion push given his side’s current form. Cathal continues to look to the future and admitted recently that ‘it would be a lot easier if (they) were in the bottom division.’ Careful what you wish for.
White Hawk fell out of the top three as they endured a frustrating afternoon against a resolute AJ Rovers. Hawk would force the pace throughout the contest and an early free-kick by Adan Donahue flashed wide. Donahue would have another free-kick on 21 minutes but Mortimer made a fine save. Ryan Dharmsingh thought he had given Hawk a lead when he shot home in the penalty area but it was chalked off for shirt pulling. The forward would then have another chance before the break but could only shoot over and Rovers went in the happier. Caio Agua had the only chance of the second-half but couldn’t direct his header on target to complete a frustrating afternoon for the home side. Hooraymee won’t be relishing a return match so soon but will be hopeful his forwards can make one of their chances count next time. Rothion will be happy with the point but will know there is more emphasis on them as the home side on Tuesday.
Kensington returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Hicktown. The home side had the better of the opening half but Lorentzen was alert to stop a side-footed shot by Bob Country while Gunther Westerville was also denied by the ‘keeper as his shot was palmed away. Kensington thought they had pinched a goal before the break when Aubrey de Vere shot home in the area but it would be disallowed for a doubtful offside. The second-half belonged to the visitors with Charles Tilly having an early header saved. A free-kick by de Vere was easily saved by Pressley but there was nothing he could do to deny Tilly’s flick header on 83 minutes. Hicktown had a chance to level in injury-time but Billy Bob’s diving header hit the woodwork and they fell to defeat. Gary_C’s side are only two points away from the drop zone and will be keen to find a win soon following two straight defeats. Patrik has manoeuvred his side to within two points of the top and if they can find a run of wins promotion will be very much on the cards.
Pahang continued their slide in MrT’s absence as they fell to a 1-0 home defeat to PSV Eindhoven. Xabi Alonso lobbed a header against the bar as PSV nearly took the lead while Kilian Strongbow missed with a free-kick at the other end in a quiet first-half. The second-half started with Strongbow hitting a free-kick against the angle and they would feel even worse when Yang Sheng Nanmeng volleyed home in the area to give the visitors a lead on the hour. Alonso would head over while Romeo Hogg had a late chance to level but couldn’t hit his lob well-enough. Kadri’s side have now won three straight and have put themselves in touch with the rest of the section following a tough start. Pahang are going in the opposite direction and only MrT’s return will help the side return to early season glories.
AC Milan and F.C. Greatness fought out an exciting 2-2 draw in the divisions’ other game. Faust Baronchelli hit home a free-kick to give the visitors an early lead and it might have been doubled but Martinus Benfari put his lob over. Quigley Addison hit a post with a free-kick for the hosts as they responded while Ricardo Kaka lobbed over. Baronchelli would hit a free-kick at Levein while Savino Piovanelli headed wide as the sides traded chances in an entertaining half. Roy Summerville would give the home fans a boost before the break by heading home the equaliser while Levein ensured parity at the interval by saving another Baronchelli free-kick. Baronchelli started the second-half with another set-piece but put it over however Greatness would take the lead as Dunstan Valenzia netted from the spot. Kaka ensured it would be a short lead, though, as he headed home on 63 minutes and Andrea Pirlo might have completed the turnaround but his header struck wood. Addison then headed wide for the hosts and both sides would take away a point from a pulsating encounter. Xmensch admitted that ‘nothing is going like we would wish’ but the fans realise he is working hard to turn results round. Darren Calvert will undoubtedly expect three points in the return match to keep his side on course for a tilt at promotion.

Jake Jolted by Late TCM Drama
These Charming Men produced a stunning finish to leave Futsal heart-broken as well as defeated. An early chance for the home side saw Gerard Caffrey attempt to round Roberts in goal but the ‘keeper was equal to it and gathered. Rick Tuttle would stun the home crowd on 22 minutes with an excellent diving header to put the visitors in front and it might have been even better for Futsal had Mirciulica Bardes managed to keep his header down moments later. Freddy Kennedy did have the ball in the net on 24 minutes but his breakaway goal was disallowed for an offside call which was 50/50 at best. This would be the last of the action in the first-half but TCM would be much-improved after the break. Chano Delgado went close with a powerful shot before putting a diving header wide as the chances began to arrive for the hosts. Delgado put another header over before Shaun McFadden had one saved by Roberts as TCM’s frustration in front of goal grew. However, they would get their reward in injury-time as first Mauricio Capdevila powered in a headed equaliser before Delgado guided in another header to complete the most stunning of finishes. RDCM had a massive smile on his face as he explained it was all part of ‘the joy of being an X11 manager’ and his side look well-placed for an exciting second-half to the season. Meanwhile, the joys of the game weren’t being felt by Jake as he said simply, ‘this game takes the piss sometimes.’
Carthage edged a tight home match against The Lone Wanderers to open up a three point gap at the head of the table. Rhys Gregson would head wide early on for the hosts but he would do much better later in the half; meeting a Caleb Spencer corner Gregson managed to head the ball past Peyton for the opening goal on 23 minutes. The Wanderers did come into the contest more after the goal and Albert Scully went close to levelling the game with a shot which struck a post. Indeed, the visitors would have the only chances after the break with Brad Kavanaugh being denied by Aurelius before Stephen Julius put a free-kick well over the bar as they suffered frustration. Carthage News reported that ‘Blakey0500 is confident his team will march on’ in the rematch and that they remain ‘favourites for promotion.’ HH explained that he thought his side ‘were unlucky’ but did admit that ‘in this league we must work hard and finish off our chances.’
Splott Rovers bounced back from their last game defeat with a 3-0 home victory over Kroklund Kings. A quiet first-half saw only one chance; Paul-Phillip Ravage heading home well from a Ted Tolley cross to give Splott a half-time lead. The game was more expansive after the break and Ravage had the hosts 2-0 ahead with another fine header on 59 minutes. A penalty five minutes later gave Splott the chance to finish the game but Tolvanen produced a fine stop to turn Frank Punisher’s spot-kick over. Ravage was unlucky not to complete a hat-trick of headers as his next effort struck the woodwork. Splott would put any lingering doubts to bed on 85 minutes as Reed Fantastic lived up to his name to thump home a free-kick and put the hosts 3-0 up. Bosse Bong did skim an effort over the bar at the other end while Fantastic went close with a further free-kick for the hosts who had already done more than enough to secure the three points. Carbonmonoxide has his side back in second and was heard recently defending his ‘galacticos’ and added that ‘when they are lifting the trophy at the end of the day no-one will be dissing them.’ Bossebong’s Kroklund remain in touch with the top three but will need to improve their away form if they are to put together a concerted push for promotion.
Belly Tubbies dropped out of the top three as they were held to a 1-1 draw by a much-improved Reggae Reggae Sauce effort. Paul Bracewell looked to have settled any nerves for the visitors when he headed home on 14 minutes but they were soon to be thankful for Fitzsimmons as he made a fine leg save from a Todd Osborn shot. Mark Higgins tried to double the away side’s lead but struck the angle with a well-placed header and they continued to suffer in the luck department as Kevin Ratcliffe saw a looping header bounce clear off the bar. Peter Reid would miss a good chance when he side-footed wide while Leroy Nugent fired a warning at the other end as his curled shot struck the woodwork. Gary Stevens wasted another chance for the Tubbies and they would pay the price as Franciszek Kamiski volleyed in the equaliser on 40 minutes. This turned out to be the last chance in the game as the second-half proved a stalemate as both sides’ tightened up although Christiano Torres would put the ball in the net in injury-time despite being flagged yards offside. It is hoped this point along with a couple of high-profile recent signings will give Xpertelevener a boost going into the second-half of a troubled campaign. Fitzy will undoubtedly see this as two points dropped and they will look to win the return on Tuesday to push themselves back into the top three.
Arsenal UK put together an attacking display of real intent to leave St Omer beaten 7-1 at The Emirates. Sid Peyton had them in front as early as the second minute with a powerful header and the chances would keep on coming. Robin van Persie would head wide before Peyton placed home the second with a well-directed effort on 12 minutes. Eduardo da Silva missed the target with a header while Hamshaw had to save from Abou Diaby in another aerial attack. Tomas Rosicky was the next to try his luck but his diving header was also stopped by Hamshaw while the midfielder would put another header wide minutes later. Rosicky would continue his assault on 24 minutes but would find joy as his long range shot found the net for 3-0. It would quickly be 4-0 as van Persie headed in and the home side would take this lead into the half-time break. Eduardo da Silva would put the first shot wide after the break and Omer would pull a goal back from their first chance; Norbert Rauscher shooting home following a corner. Diaby responded by heading too close to Hamshaw before he then missed the target with a further effort. Hamshaw would save well from da Silva as Omer’s defence continued to be stretched and van Persie finally made it 5-1 on 71 minutes with a precise header. Samir Nasri followed suit with a further headed which had too much power on it for the ‘keeper and da Silva completed the rout with a powerful strike in the area just before time. Arsenal News didn’t get too carried away with the result and predicted that the young Omer would have ‘learned more than we did from this game.’ CT will be pleased to see the turn of the season and will be more keen than ever to keep his side in form ahead of the all-important change report.
Juventus continue to be one of the form sides of the division as they saw off Los Samgeles Kings 1-0 at the Staples Center. Juve struck early as Kristoffer Lindfors produced a stunning diving header on two minutes. Jacobo Chacros was denied by the ‘keeper as he tried an audacious lob while Ersberg would also save from another Chacros effort; this time a free-kick. Dustin Brown enjoyed the home side’s first chance but Fuentes saved well from his header and Obadele Eliakwu might have doubled the lead but headed too close to Ersberg. Los Samgeles started better after the break but Luc Robitaille’s shot struck a post from a tight angle. Ersberg would then be called into action to keep his side in the game as he denied another Chacros free-kick. Chacros would continue to be frustrated as he toe-poked wide while Evgeni Malkin headed wide at the other end. Joaquin Messi would miss the target for the visitors while a late Alexander Frolov shot threatened to level matters but instead bounced clear off the woodwork. The win has SuperJuve’s side five points clear of their vanquished foes and he will now look to take advantage of Stripy's shock departure in the return match on Tuesday.

What are the Chances?
Norfolk picked up their first point of the season in a stunning 4-4 draw with Cressex. The chances began early with Dominik Brno’s chip being tipped over by home ‘keeper Olausson. Kendrick Osmond would then stun the visitors by putting the hosts ahead albeit with a mishit shot. Klyde Krippner missed a free-kick chance while Carasario Falcioni missed the chance to level at the other end as his header wasn’t accurate enough. In a breathtaking contest Krippner then had another free-kick saved by Clooney and Cressex would take full advantage as Cabbar Saatcioglu shot home inside the penalty area to level the game. The home side’s response was immediate with Andy Howe heading home and the visitors’ frustration grew as Saatcioglu had a goal disallowed at the other end. The forward would then strike a post with a strike before making the necessary adjustment to level from distance on 26 minutes. Dan Ruffer tried to put the hosts back in front but his shot was saved while Saatcioglu had a header saved at the other end. Howe would have the last chance of the half but couldn’t make his curled shot count as the teams went in at 2-2. The second-half started just as fast with Leopoldo Valadao putting a header over for the hosts before Zoli Denes hit a post with a toe-poke. Cressex fired back with Falcioni firing over while Tajo Juanjo hit the woodwork for Norfolk with a powerful header. Saatcioglu would have his moment on 62 minutes as he finished a breakaway for his hat-trick goal to have Cressex 3-2 up. The lead would last a mere three minutes, though, as Denes put an accurate header past Clooney to tie the game. Dan-Ake Rothflod soon had Cressex back in front with a stunning strike from distance and Clooney kept them in front by holding Kendrick Osmond’s header. However, the ‘keeper was powerless to stop Andy Howe’s volley which made it 4-4 on 85 minutes. Leopoldo Valadao missed a late chance to win the game for the hosts as he put too much on his chip but the point was enough to have the home fans celebrating at the final whistle. Howemiester will have forgotten how to celebrate a point but will no doubt be happy with his side’s attacking intent and if they can continue that on Tuesday they may go better. Villan_RAS will have been unimpressed with his side’s defending and a second-half of struggle awaits unless they can tighten up.
Wortley maintained their grip on first place with a 3-0 success at Rolling Thunder. Thunder opened with a Marcel Holub strike which brushed a post while they would be relieved moments later as Quincy Bowey’s header for wortley was disallowed for offside. Ludo Cappellacci shot over for the hosts and they would go in behind as Bowey found the target from distance. The second-half saw more openings with Thunder seeing Yiannis Koutsis put a half-volley over early in the piece. Walter Willock wasted a header for wortley while Brandon Hiller had a lob saved as the leaders stepped up the pressure. This pressure told as Bowey lobbed in his second of the day to double the visitors’ lead. Benjamin Unesson was unlucky not to bring Thunder back into the contest as his curled shot struck a post and the game was over when Hiller produced a superb diving header to make it 3-0 on 83 minutes. The game will have given Thegreatlordbags plenty of confidence going into the return match and they have to be pleased with their position going into the turn. Jimmy will be perplexed with his side’s current form and unless they can find a couple of wins a promotion place might just prove a little beyond them this term.
Dream Team are now the nearest challengers to wortley following a 4-0 win at Jammas AllStars. A lob by Mil Moody had the visitors in front on 12 minutes before the midfielder wasted his second chance by toe-poking straight at Frezzolini. The AllStars found a threat after the interval as Ruud Olfers struck the woodwork while Moody headed over at the other end. Sergio Coccioletti was denied by Delirious and Dream Team then doubled their lead as Dudley Dream finished well in the area. Margrott Ashdown shot over to sum up the AllStars’ day and Dream Team would finish strongly. Moody headed home his second of the day and Warren Wish would add a header of his own to make the final score 4-0 to the visitors. MrJames will not be satisfied until his side have hit first but they appear strong as the season enters its business stage. Not much will change during this term for Jamma but the future remains a bright one while he is developing the AllStars.
The Gooners are still the unbeatable side of the division following a 3-0 home stroll against EspAda. Their first chance came from a free-kick and Andres Iniesta didn’t disappoint with a stunning effort which struck the woodwork. Zhini Demiray would have a goal disallowed for the visitors while Teremun Odejayi saw a lob go over at the other end as the score remained goalless at the break. The visitors had the first chances after the break but Allan Bound couldn’t make good with a header while Lima saved well from Gregor Muller’s header. Gooners would capitalise courtesy of Broderick Shilton scoring from a breakaway and when Demiray put a lob over at the other end it would be all the hosts from this point on. Harold Hankers had a diving header saved by Kerrigan but Sonny Baron would make it 2-0 on 75 minutes with a fine header. Iniesta side-footed wide before flicking home a header to increase the lead still further on 75 minutes. Muller had a token effort for the visitors and was unlucky as his bicycle kick struck a post while the woodwork was tested at the other end when Shilton powered in an effort which had Kerrigan beaten. There was further excitement for home fans when FMRealism indicated they would be ‘adding to already one of the best midfields in Division Three.’ Malteseexpert will need to take a closer look at his side if they are not to have wasted the season completely and they won’t be confident going into the rematch.
Morley Town fell off the pace as they lost 2-1 at home to Alsancak. Morley started strongly with Art Boyle smashing a header off the bar before they forced a penalty on 11 minutes; unfortunately Dustin Wotton hit a tame effort which saw Cirkovic save. Wotton would then see Cirkovic save from his header while Rory Burston was denied at the other end after getting in a curled shot on target. Miles Beckett saw a lob punched away by Zubeldia and Morley took advantage by hitting the front on 19 minutes as Florian Arnautu headed in clinically. Vivian Kwekeu might have extended the lead but his volley hit the angle while Fraizer Campbell suffered similar misfortune at the other end as his chip hit the bar. The second-half saw Alsancak put in a perfectly controlled performance to take a hold of the game. Eoghan Millar lobbed against the angle before Beckett’s volley was saved by Zubeldia as they signalled their intent. They would get their equaliser on 70 minutes as Millar lobbed in perfectly and the turnaround was complete when Campbell also chipped the ‘keeper to leave Morley stunned. Leeg21 will want immediate revenge as his side seek to keep pace with the top three. Wienersnitzel is delighted that his side ‘continue to punch above (their) weight’ and urged other sides to show them more ‘respect.’
1863 Munich and Mighty Mojos fought out a 1-1 draw in the other contest which saw two of the leagues brightest new managers go head-to-head. The first chance didn’t come while late in the opening half with Ferdinand Quinn unable to side-foot home and Michel Montolio was also found wanting in front of goal as he put a free-kick over just before the break. The Mojos thought they had hit the front on 59 minutes but Quinn’s header was disallowed due to a dubious call. They would need a piece of fortune to finally make the breakthrough as Nelutu Cristea put through his own goal on 76 minutes. The home side’s response was quick but Elliott Malloy had nothing but bad luck as his lob was denied only by the woodwork. Phillip Williams would have a chance to seal the win for the visitors but his back heel went wide and they would pay the ultimate price as Malloy shot home deep into injury-time for the hosts. Joshy explained that he thought his side ‘deserved more than a draw’ and pointed to ‘poor decision making’ and the disallowed goal as to reasons why they didn’t come away with three points. Anderson admitted he would ‘take the draw from the game’ although was disappointed that Edwards would be ‘out for days.’
2 defeats in 2 for the Amateurs
The Yorkshire Amateurs succumbed to a second successive defeat after being beaten 2-0 by Bonkers earlier this week.
Goals from Clemence and Beelenkamp were enough for victory and to compound matters for the side from Yorkshire, midfielder Hugo Smallwood now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the game.
The Amateurs have the chance to exact their revenge immediately when they face Bonkers again tomorrow though.

lost...
In first half of the season we didn't show much and therefore we had only collected 9 points out of 11 rounds. Nothing goes like we would wish and at the moment we are deply in Divsion 2 next season. It would be very disappointing for club to be degradated from top to second division in two seasons!
New Player, 2 Close Games
'My heart literally stopped, I swear I thought we had lost that game. My boys dug in and ground out a fantastic win. The game against Carthage we were unlucky, but in this league we must work hard and finish off our chances.'
HappyHibee1991, spoke very briefly today outside The Capital Wasteland, yet the real reason he was here was to have a contract ready to be signed. Marco Busquets, a new talent, 19, 5 skilled, goal instincts, great header and quick. However the revolving door has made a revolution as HH points out.
'Ortiz is a great young player, however we sat down, enjoyed watching France vs Ireland and spoke about his career. I felt we weren't the club to take him undwer our wings. He respected my decision. Busquets is also a good player, yet he is also an emerging prospect. 2 in the strike force is enough, and Ortiz has been placed on the transfer list.'
With a young player up for grabs in the transfer market, and with 2 in the strike force how does HH see his strikers lining up this season?
'Well, we need to see. The strikers are strong as we have proven before yet they also need to improve. I think if we do end up staying in the Second Division it could benefit us. The young players will improve, but even going up a division would help the players. This season is now about seeing what we can do. The games have all been close and hopefully we can continue to provide our fans with enough entertainment to keep them coming back.'

Munzberg Cleared
"Adolf Münzberg has been arrested for alleged money laundering. The player refutes the allegations completely but faces a lengthy trial process in the High Court. Apart from the loss of a player for around a month, Morley Town F.C.'s reputation suffers as a consequence".
Morley can now report that Munzberg has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the money laundering scandal that has tainted both the players and the teams reputations.
Munzberg's spokesman issued the following statement 'We would like to thank Morley Town for their continued support during this difficult time and we are glad to see the charges dropped after new evidence came to light which clearly shows the player was not involved in the scandal but that his former agent will now stand trial, we hope to move on and help Morley fight for promotion this season'

1863 Was A Very Lucky Year!
Following the press release from The Mighty Mojos 1863 Munich have hit back today claiming that the game was very even and the equaliser was always on the cards in the final stages and it was just reward when Elliot Malloy fired home with the last kick of the game to send the home fans wild!
However Anderson19 seemed more interested in talking about the injury suffered by hot prospect Kit Edwards, Edwards was chopped down in 13th minute by Lenny Puttock who was only booked for the lunge which has left the young midfielder out for several games and also ruled him out of the upcoming England U21 games. "It was a horrific challenge from the lad and Kit is fuming rest assured we will be looking for revenge in the return leg in 2 days!

Late comeback sees TCM get 3 points
2 goals in the dying seconds form Mauricio Capdevila and Chano Delgado ensured TCM walked away 2-1 victors at home to Futsal FC.
TCM battled hard, however with just seconds to go and 1-0 down it always looked as though fate was conspiring against them.
However the home fans who had stayed in the ground for the dying minutes were repaid when TCM got the much needed goals to jump bak into 3rd place.
Next up the second part of the midseason double header, Futsal will be looking for revenge after seeing the points snatched from under their noses.

Alsancak Continue To Punch Above Weight
Alsancak pulled off a superb 1-2 away win against Morley Town F.C to continue thier fine run this season.
Alsancak's goalscorers on the day where E Millar and F Campbell, assists came from M Noble and E Millar, Man Of The Match went to C Cirkovic.
"I have a feeling teams are starting to sit up and realise we are not quite the pushovers they thought we would be although we are a young side we continue to punch above our weight and punish sides who show us little respect with their squad and tactic selection with Morley become the latest to find out" Wienersnitzel said.
Next up Morley Town F.C at Mosquito Alley in the return fixture.

top?
"We are where???", was the managers responce when one of the press hounds asked him what it was like to be top of the table. Some how Bonkers find themselves there after what must be said has been a season of stops and starts. But the fans are happy, the manager is happy and the players are happy. The plan for domination of this league continues....This was also heard fromt he manager's office earlier, "Coaching staff? What's that? why do you need extra staff? This is a one man manager game, the players play, the manager manages, what more do you need?"
Arsenal UK 7 - 1 St Omer
Arsenal UK returned to their pervious form with a strong win over St Omer. Arsenal have clearly missed their star midfielder over the last 3 games as he marked his return with 2 goals.
Arsenal will be on a high after knocking 7 past St Omer, they have a team thats yong and full of prospects, no doubt they learned more then we did from this game.

Good workman buys new tools
Underdogz United manager Izuka has hit back at The Vikings manager Eaglesrjh after The Vikings manager Eaglesrjh hit back at Underdogz United manager Izuka after a press release from the Underdogz United manager earlier today.
"My excuses were all legitimate, Casillas really was unavailable for this match, and the defence really was young. However, I never said that any of us picked the wrong midfielders. Also, being only 14, soon 15 on the 22nd of January, I am hardly allowed to be the manager of a top flight club. All these responsibilities fell to my former assistant manager, Steve. Now, I have a new assistant manager, Bob, whom I expect to perform much better than Steve," said Izuka to reporters minutes after Eaglesrjh's press release was publicly released.
"Also, Bosingwa was in no way responsible for the end of Zdravko Milic's career. Bosingwa, the wonderful fullback that he is, went flying down our right flank and was brutally tackled by Milic, who injured himself but managed to earn Bosingwa a booking for diving and dangerous play as he retaliated by swiping at Milic. Milic's still leading a decent life, though, as I spotted him being the disc jockey at a London nightclub last night after the match," added Izuka about the controversial incident in the 9th minute of the match.
In a separate interview, a club spokesperson was quoted as saying that "Izuka was unavailable for comment" shortly after Izuka finished his interview with another reporter, which can be read in the previous two paragraphs. However, a heavenly voice, sounding suspiciously young and Chinese-Malaysian, was heard singing in the club showers.

St Vincent De Paul Reject Coaching Staff
After Underdogz United sacked all their coaching staff, they offered themselves to the charity organisation who sponsor Villarreal but St Vincent De Paul rejected them.
Manager, Cathal Brennan hit out on Eagles saying that Izuka is the new Messiah and the best manager who ever stepped foot in this universe. Cathal Brennan said that Eagles is just jealous cause he can't afford to sack his coaching staff.

Viking Land News
It has been reported that Underdogz United manager Izuka has been trotting out the excuses for his sides poor showings recently, most lately a 2-1 win for the Vikings at Surprise Stadium.
"my main keeper was out" whined Izuka, "My defensive average age was low", "it's the coaches fault they picked the wrong midfielders" Where all excuses by MANAGER Izuka.
Vikings manager Eaglesrjh was quick to retaliate. "Izuka can blame all these things if he wants" said the boss "Bottom line is he is the manager of the team and he is the one who makes decisions! He picked his playmaker and chose to mark the wrong midfielder. The buck stops here pal!
"He seems to have happily overlooked the fact that we voluntarily put the young keeper in goal. He bangs on about his main keeper being back but Raasch should be back for us also". Add to that the fact the winner was scored by our 18 year old 4 skilled striker and that when one of their playes brutally attacked Milic (effectively ending the defenders career) Ferdinand came on and behold our defensive average age was below 26 too!
"Now I think Izuka is a very good manager but he will improve when he stops making excuses and steps up to the plate to deal with bad days as well as take the praise for good days"
"Tactically I cant say I was brilliant today but bottom line is he longballed over a 4 man midfield, I long balled over a 3 man midfield. So basically his long balls where landing with 2 strikers against 4 defenders, my long balls landed for 3 strikers against 4 defenders, That was the difference in this match."
"I still think Izuka is a great manager and look forward to the return leg on Tuesday, just wish he'd man up, take the heat when it's on rather than deflecting the issue. Bottom line, HE picked the team, HE picked the tactics Ok some things like his main keeper being unavailable he cant change but that happens to us all!
With that Eaglesrjh got off his soap box to go and make sure his squad is ready for what is now likely to be a keenly contested return leg on Tuesday.

United coaches sacked
The entire Underdogz United coaching staff has been sacked today after a horrible week for Underdogz United. First was a 2-2 draw against Tranmere where Izuka's assistants made a horrible choice while Izuka was on the phone with the club chairman by taking off Robin van Izu after barely a third of the match has passed to bring on Victor Valdezuka to replace the sent off Izu Casillas. Even worse, they did not bother to assign a new freekick taker, meaning captain Zlatan Izuhimovic took all the freekicks himself and missed every one.
The coaches got even worse in the next game against The Vikings as they led the team to a 1-2 loss at home. The coaches installed Cesc Izukas as playmaker, though he was the very obvious choice of Eaglesrjh's marking, while choosing to mark The Vikings captain Anastasios Tassiopoulos instead of playmaker and eventual Man Of The Match Evstathios Gourmas, meaning United created hardly any chances and also gave the lion's share of possession to the visitors.
"I expect us to get back to winning ways now, with all those idiots out of the way," said first choice goalkeeper Izu Casillas to reporters earlier this morning. "The last coach guaranteed me that I could cover the whole goal no matter where the shot was going by jumping straight into the air, rotating myself parallel to the ground, and spreading out my arms and legs towards the corners of the goal. Needless to say, that was a dumb idea and I'm glad we're getting a new goalkeeper coach, it can only be good for myself and Victor," added the Spanish national goalkeeper.
"The response has been fantastic!" replied Izuka when asked about his progress hiring new coaches. "Everybody wants to work at Underdogz United! When I checked the club mailbox earlier this morning just an hour after I announced the sacking of my coaching staff to the footballing world, there were already 2000 emails waiting for me, and I expect that when I get back to it, the amounts of resumes I'll have to look through will have at least doubled. I should also tell RobinMeeblind and Cathalio11 that some of their coaches have sent us their resumes," said Izuka.
With a brand new coaching staff behind him, Izuka will expect a much better result when his side meet The Vikings again in the next round at Viking Land.

Lead Stretched
A rather boring 1-0 home win against the lone wanderers helped Carthage FC stretch their lead at the top of Division 2. Carthage have now opened up a 3 point gap, and are favourites for promotion this season.
Blakey0500 is cautious after only winning 1-0 at home, with the reverse fixture next up Carthage Fc will have to up the anti in order to get the 3 points, however Blakey0500 is confident his team will march on.
Marcus Spillane has shaken off a niggling injury and Carthage's Star player is back in the selection line up for the second half of the season. Spillane refused to comment on whether this will be his last season at Carthage, will the lure of Division 1 keep Spillane from early retirment? Time will tell.

1863 must of been a lucky year
The 1863 Fortress was packed well before kick off as both managers going into this game had high expectations.
Mighty Mojos's new manager Joshy had shared his recent concern regaurding his clubs disciplinary problems. Todays match was only going to add to that concern for within 13 minutes both Edmund Izzet and Lenny Puttock both found themselves the ref's book. Kit Edwards becoming a victim of some poorly timed tackle. In the 20th minute Mighty Mojos's yellow card tally went up to 3 as Jayden Stevens joined the list. Late on in the first half Mighty Mojos had a couple of half chances but were unable to break the deadlock both teams looking equal going into the break.
As the second half got under way it was clear Joshy had a stronger half time team talk as his side came out after the break looking the brighter of the two teams. Mighty Mojos also looked much more disciplined as the tackles now looked much better. In the 59th minute the away faithful went nuts as Ferdinand Quinn lobbed the keeper but before he even had time to run off and celebrate the linesman flag was up, Joshy looked on, totally stunned as the offside call did look very doubtful. In the 70th minute Michel Montolio hobbled off and things started to look like one of those days as Mighty Mojos started to edge the second half but having nothing to show for it. In the 76th minute the ball was passed into the box and in some school match like goal mouth scramble Nelutu Cristea found himself the unlucky person as the ball clipped his leg wrong fotting the keeper. The Mighty Mojos faithful burst into pandemonium. The players looked relieved as they finally found a way past 1863 Munich. 0-1 the score and on the 79th minute the home side notched up their first meaningful chance on goal as Eliott Malloy's lobbing header smashed into the up-right. As the clock ticked down Mighty Mojos looked odds on favourite to win the match but in the 93rd minute in what would turn out to be one of the last kicks of the match 1863 Munich scored a dramic last grasp equalizer. Eliott Malloy smashing into the back of the net following a tidy corner. The home fans were delirious with joy as Joshy's body language said it all. After some calming down Joshy had this to say...
" We were very evenly matched in the first half. The second half however i think we edged it and i feel we deserved more then a draw. Some poor decision making has ultimatly cost us 3 point here today Ferdinand Quinn was never off side even a monkey could of told you that. The lads went about their stuff well today despite some bad luck but i hope they have completed their card collection things will get tricky if we keep this rate of cards up. "
A little later on just before Joshy left the interview he asked off mic which team they were playing next and when pointed out he was playing the same team again he laughed clearly revenge will be on his mind.

5 Wins out of 6
Kirkbride Stollers kept their decent run of results going with a fine 2-0 home win against Santos FC. Both goals came in the second half, the first a fine header from the recalled Brian Wills who was making his first appearance of the season and the injured Stephen robinson who came off the bench to record his 6th of the season.
Manager Jazza1958 was in a good mood and said after the match, " We deserved the 3 points and will be back at full strength for the reverse fixture next week. We took our goals well and kept another clean sheet, our 4th in a row, which means we are closing in on our target of the season which was a top 5 finish."

Gooners Bounce Back
After a dismal result last round Gooners today showed the kind of form we all know they are capable of, they had a worrying moment when the ball ended up in the back of their net first, but the goal was decided to be disallowed. Which was a god send for young keeper Felipe Lima who is under real pressure to fill the number 1's boots during his injury period. Lima did manage to keep a clean sheet and this will boost his confidence greatly.
Gooners remain unbeaten but the manager said with the run of fixtures we have we must turn draws into wins and get ourselves to the top of the table before we face our two biggest rivals for the title. The fixtures really are in our favor, drawing in the previous round was a real setback and we cant let this happen again. Next round we face EspÅda again and must beat them again at their place if we are to remain real title contenders. Just staying unbeaten is not enough, although its a record we intend to run with aslong as is possible.
Our injured keeper will be back in training soon but im very pleased for Felipe a clean sheet was no more than he deserved and he has dealt with the pressure well... lets not forget those are big boots he has to fill. Sonny Baron has also done brilliantly after a long injury period he is straight back to fantastic form and amongst the goals. As for the transfer saga its not something i wish to talk about until the deal is finalized but so far so good, all i will say is no one is moving in the opposite direction we are just adding to what is already one of the best midfields in Div 3!... more news soon.

Galacticos will bounce back
Splott Rover's manager says the recent defeat 2-1 to Carthage "doesn't change anything" and fully expects to bounce back from this recent blip. "Basically the game was won in the first half, we couldn't cope with their attacks and they got the two goals. We bossed the second half and managed to pull one back but only created 2 chances overall, I take the blame for that as I set the team up to play cautious. But we are only 3 points off the top spot and if we can do the double over Kroklund it will be a different story when Carthage come and play us in our own fortress, the Star Centre Arena" Responding to rumours that Blakey0500 disrespected the older players for Splott manager after the game CM said " I didn't sign these players, but they are our galacticos, it may or may not be their last season but when they are lifting the trophy at the end of the day no-one will be dissing them then"
Title Deciders????
..................neither Dinky not Meeslas would be foolish enough to think so but if either team could take maximium points from the double header they would surely be nailed on favourites for the RMI.
With the first match at the Hawthorns WBS should feel confident but without Asa Harford and Billy Bassett will there less experienced midfielders cope with the power of the Cats???
With both teams averaging well over 2 goals a game could we be in for a goal fest??? Probably a 0-0 then!!!!

Gooners Still On Brink Of Signing
The Gooners scout has been seen at many camps lately as they still look to bolster an already strong midfield, it's rumoured the manager is after an experienced midfielder of good skill an special abilities but the saga drags on as the coach never pays over the odds for any player. He has made yet another offer but the deadline is still days away, will he get his man this time round ...watch this space!
Today they face EspÅda at home with a more familiar line up, Felipe Lima will look to have more nfluence on the game and cement a position in the team. After speaking with some Gooner fans they are not yet worried and feel the team will show true character and bounce back from last weeks close shave.

WBS Repel Viking Raid
West Brom withstood a strong Vikings performance to win 4-2 and remain at the head of the RMI. The home side produced a solid first-half performance which culminated with chances before the break. Regillio Jordan put them in front with a fantastic header while a toe-poke by Justin Portway brushed a post. There was still time for Paraskevas Maladenis’ powerful low shot to narrowly miss and Aris Almanidis to demand a save from Scott Carson following his testing free-kick. The second-half saw the Strollers wake-up as both sides created numerous chances. Bobby Taylor flicked a header over the bar before he forced Connely into a leg save from a low shot as the Strollers searched for the equaliser. Taylor’s next header would also go over but West Brom would level courtesy of Cyrille Regis’ brilliant diving header on 52 minutes. Regis completed the turnaround 12 minutes later as he headed home a Taylor cross but Anastasios Tassiopoulos would soon level from the spot for the home side. Tassiopoulos went close to giving The Vikings the lead but it would be a header from Regis at the other end which would see West Brom hit the front again and also complete the forward’s hat-trick. The Vikings weren’t finished, however, and Aris Almanidis forced Carson into a fine stop from a free-kick before the ‘keeper also had to be alert to deny Thorbjorn Lind’s well-placed shot. Despite their efforts it would be the visitors who would net next; Taylor looping home a header to give them a two-goal cushion. Still the home side came as Portway’s driving shot was brilliantly turned round a post by Carson while Almanidis saw a free-kick go wide. In the end their efforts would come to nothing as the West Brom juggernaut carried on. Eaglesrjh was happy his side ‘gave WBS a game at least’ but admitted to not having ‘enough cash’ to compete properly at the moment. DD will have been more than pleased with the victory ahead of their season-defining clashes with ThunderCats over the next seven days.
ThunderCats will also go into that clash on the back of a win as they held off a strong AFC Stanley challenge to record a 3-2 victory which kept them in second. Jake Sephton thought he had put the champions in front on two minutes but his mishit shot was disallowed to give Stanley a reprieve. They would get their goal on 21 minutes, though, as a powerful header by Fabricio Cidade left Hessbo clutching at thin air. Stanley would play their part in the game, though, and saw Matts Wallman force a save out of Magro from a decent free-kick. The second-half saw more chances with Wallman having the first; his free-kick beating Magro and levelling matters. Wallman had another chance on the hour but this time Magro saved his shot and a volley by Cidade at the other end put the home side back in front. Kirk Armitage shot wide as Stanley looked for a route back in again and they found it when Alan Martindale rounded Magro on 76 minutes to slot home. The home side responded by going in search of a winning goal and saw Cidade loop a header over when well-placed. They wouldn’t be denied for long, though, with Leonardo Borja stunning the visitors with an excellent free-kick on 81 minutes. Paulino Ornelas would waste a late chance as he put his chip well-over but it wouldn’t affect the final result as the home side went away with the points. Meelas will now expect his side to hit the front over the next two games as his champion side take on the current leaders. Markham will have been pleased with how his side competed and will urge them to take that form into their double-header with Manchester United to keep them in contention at the top.
Kirkbride Strollers moved into the group behind the leaders with a 2-0 home victory over Totaalvoetbal. In a quiet first-half the only chance of note went the way of the visitors but Shirsh Vajpayee got his shot all-wrong and it went well-wide. The Strollers were the dominant outfit after the break and put the visitors under pressure. Mark Blacklock was unfortunate not to give them a lead on 67 minutes as his shot struck the woodwork but they would get their rewards late in the game. Keith Ellison shot past Rimmer after a corner on 78 minutes and Stephen Robinson showed great composure to beat the ‘keeper in a one-on-one following a quality break. Andrew Harrison did put a dampener on the home side’s display at the end of the game as he was sent from the field for dangerous play but the fans were still left to celebrate an important three points. Jazza explained that they ‘played well as a team’ but also fired a warning at superstar Andrew Harrison by adding that they ‘can’t afford passengers.’ Robin Meeblind responded to the poor back balance at the club by putting Shivan Preetnav up for sale and said that they ‘can’t continue with such a lack of funds.’
Manchester United put in a dominant away performance to leave Santos with a 2-0 victory and three points. Ryan Giggs put a mishit shot wide early on before Wayne Rooney’s header hit the angle as the visitors started well. They would continue to see chances in the second-half with Rooney being denied an early goal for hand ball. They would get their goal, though, as a penalty allowed Eric Cantona the opportunity to put them in front on 51 minutes. Rooney headed past Valdez on 64 minutes to give the visitors a cushion but, in truth, they never looked threatened on the day. Darren Gibson might have added a third but his header hit the bar while a free-kick by the midfielder also smashed against the bar. Gibson would hit another free-kick late in the game but this time got it badly wrong and it sailed over. However, the 2-0 win was enough to see them into sixth and in touch with the chasing pack as the season reaches its halfway mark. Sean7 will be disappointed with his side’s current run as five losses have followed their five wins to open the season. They now face a crunch double with Kirkbride in their efforts to turn their season round.
Tranmere took a point away from Underdogz United but might have wanted more after the home side were reduced to 10-men early in the contest. Luca Tonizu nearly gave the home side an early lead but saw his chip hit the bar while Robin van Izu hit a free-kick wide. Izu Casillas would received his marching orders on 33 minutes for dangerous play and Tranmere looked to take advantage but Eadbhard Liffey’s free-kick was saved by replacement ‘keeper Valdezuka. Zlatan Izuhimovic looked to give Underdogz a boost going into the break but his free-kick hit a post and the sides would go in level. The second-half opened with a Liffey free-kick but it was placed too close to the ‘keeper and they would then fall behind as Alfred Calascione planted a header past Sapienza at the other end. Tonizu put a header wide for the hosts before Ross Weymouth levelled matters with a stunner from distance for Tranmere. The home side responded well to this setback and Calascione saw a shot saved before he was denied by Sapienza again as he tried to round the ‘keeper moments later. Izuael Clichy would also put a shot wide and it looked like they would pay for missed chances as Geomar Altieri finished a breakaway with some aplomb. However, the home side would show great character and were rewarded as Izukas headed home a Tonizu cross to ensure both sides went away with a point each. Izu was disappointed with the decision to take off Robin van Izu and one of his coaches will surely have felt a backlash in the aftermath of the game. Baz, meanwhile, is seeing his side battle hard and a double-header with Sanity Clause might give them the springboard from which to launch the greatest of escapes.
Sanity Clause picked up their second successive point in a 1-1 draw at Hun Haters as their form begins to improve under their new manager. Elvis MacCaran would give them a first-half lead as he rounded Boruc on 33 minutes to slot confidently home. The second-half saw Kay Flo miss the chance to double the visitors’ lead as he headed straight at the ‘keeper. The home side would finally see some chances late in the game but Alexandr Prohazska put his free-kick off-target. They would draw level soon after, though, as Finlay MacCleir headed home superbly from a Crosby cross. MacCaran would try to win it for the visitors but his header was too close to Boruc and a point each would be the sides’ reward after a tense encounter. Similar to Tranmere, Crismorena may be looking at their clashes as a chance to get some points on the board to fuel confidence ahead of the second-half of the season. Celticchris will need at least four points out of their matches with Totaal if they are to give themselves a fighting chance of escaping relegation.
ThunderCats will also go into that clash on the back of a win as they held off a strong AFC Stanley challenge to record a 3-2 victory which kept them in second. Hawk Prey on Pahang
White Hawk are the form team of Division One following a 3-0 home victory over Pahang United. Adan Donahue curled a shot against the outside of a post before Hussain was forced into a save from a Caio Agua header as Hawk set out with attacking intent. Charly Chan Jet Soe would then waste a headed chance before Hawk took the lead; Byron Somaroe making light of a tight angle to thump past Hussain on the half-hour. The second-half saw Hawk remain on top and Ryan Dharmsingh nearly made it 2-0 as his curled shot struck wood. Jet Soe would flick home number two a couple of minutes later to leave Hawk completely in control. Perman saw a header go close before another one was saved by Hussain as Pahang couldn’t get any sort of foothold in the game. Somaroe did make it 3-0 with an excellent diving header and this capped an all-round performance from the home side. Hooraymee has his side two points off first and will be eager to keep the pressure on in the coming weeks. Pahang are suffering from MrT’s current absence but they also remain just two points back from the head of the section.
The sides managed to close on Yorkshires Amateurs as they lost 1-0 at F.C. Greatness. The goal came early with Faust Baronchelli heading past Bicanco with some aplomb. This would, incredibly, be the only chance of the game although there was more incident as Darren Calvert saw red for dangerous play. However, Greatness managed to see out the win despite playing with 10-men for the majority of the game as Amateurs struggled to put anything together going forward. Manager, Darren Calvert told reporters that he ‘knew they would win’ and they are now looking in the right direction once more. Danlufc13 will be disappointed that his side lost their unbeaten record and will be keen for them to refocus ahead of their massive matches against Bonkers over the next week.
Bonkers go into those games on the back of a 1-1 draw at AJ Rovers. Rovers took an early lead as Mercourios Simos placed the ball beyond Hawke and into the net on four minutes. Garry Maynard headed wide for the visitors before Sonny Vickerman had a header saved by Hawke as the hosts looked for another goal. Henrik Larsson would miss the target with a header before Stefan Beelenkamp did likewise with a curled shot as Bonkers struggled in front of goal. However, Rovers couldn’t capitalise as Vickerman was denied by Hawke and the score remained 1-0 at the break. The second-half saw Bonkers assert some pressure on the home side. Their chances came late in the game with Yoshitaka Karahira having a header tipped over by Mortimer before they did level through a side-footed shot by Maynard. Larsson had a late chance to win the game but mishit his shot and both sides would emerge with a point each. GarethLloyd will have his side keyed up for the coming week after manoeuvring them to within striking distance of the much sought after first place. Rothion’s side are three points above the relegation spots while remaining just four from Bonkers in the top three such is the tightness of the division so a double-header with Hawk will be key as to which direction their season will take.
Real Madrid have won four out of their last five games following a 1-0 home success over AC Milan. The first-half saw both sides have trouble breaking the other’s rearguard and as such no chances were created. This changed during the second 45 minutes and Kevin Gabriele had a shot saved by Hindle to get the game going. Gabriele would then hit the angle of post and bar with a power shot while Bernard Lormor shot over at the other end. Milan would try and hit the front from a free-kick but Quigley Addison’s effort was tipped over by Nersesian and Madrid would capitalise. A well-placed header by Samvel Mortanian proved elusive for the visiting ‘keeper and the home fans would be left celebrating a vital win. FredRizzo remains one of the most in-form coaches in the division and will be confident that his side will be sitting in a top three spot once they have completed their clashes with bottom club Villarreal over the coming week. Xmensch has admitted that his side badly need three points soon and as such they will need to take advantage of playing at home against Greatness on Friday.
Villarreal picked up their first win of the season with an excellent performance at home to Kensington Boys Club. They started strongly with Claudio Moura having a goal disallowed for a dubious offside call. It wouldn’t matter, though, as Moura headed home on five minutes to give them a deserved lead. Potsdam Erplatz put a powerful shot over as they continued to look the more dangerous side. Indeed, they would make it 2-0 on 32 minutes as Ritchie Morgan headed past Sampson. The second-half saw an improved showing by the visitors and Abrey had to be alert to keep out a header from Charles Tilly. Tilly would get a goal back on 79 minutes, though, as he headed out of the reach of the ‘keeper but a long range shot by Jack Wilshere a minute later re-established the two-goal advantage and killed the game. This win might have come to a shock to Cathal’s ‘very long term plan’ but they will take it nevertheless as it gives them renewed hope of making the great escape. Patrik’s side are proving consistently inconsistent as their season moves from win to loss and the manager will hope to rectify this over the coming weeks.
PSV Eindhoven had to withstand a Hicktown onslaught to record back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Hicktown enjoyed the only chance of the first 45 minutes but Billy Bob’s header was saved by Reina. Bob would open the second-half with a wild shot before Bob Country curled an effort which was kicked away by Reina. The visitors kept the pressure up and Reina was called into action once more to stop an Uncle Sam header. Jose Fonte would then stun Hicktown with a brilliant free-kick to put the hosts in front. Miquel Tonelotto nearly put through his own net but PSV escaped and recorded the unlikeliest of wins. Kadri said he was ‘proud’ of his sides’ ‘stubbornness and never say die attitude’ to which he attributed the win. Gary_C will have been amazed at the defeat and will want his side to get it out of their system as soon as possible.

Carthage Crack CM
Carthage won the battle at the top with Splott Rovers thanks to a powerful first-half showing. Kenneth MacKenna hit a post with a powerful low shot before they also saw Rhys Gregson go close with a half-volley. They took the lead they craved on 23 minutes as Eric Fray headed past Ghostrider in the visiting goal. It was 2-0 ten minutes later as Quincy Lansbury also found aerial dominance over the Splott defence to head in. The second-half saw the visitors respond and the only chances of the half would come their way. Indeed, an Eddie Venom lob brought them back into the contest on 52 minutes. They would have a late chance to level matters but Bruce Hulk could only head wide and the points would see Carthage leapfrog them at the top. Blakey was in fine form after the game and boasted that ‘no other team can compete’ at ‘Fortress Carthage.’ Carbonmonoxide not only saw his side drop from first but they fell out of the top three following the defeat to illustrate just how tight the section is. A rebound victory will be the only thing on the minds of the Splott players for Friday’s clash with Kroklund.
Futsal moved into second as they showed their strength in a 2-0 away success at Los Samgeles Kings. The first-half saw only the one opening which fell the way of the visitors; Mirciulica Bardes firing in from a free-kick move to give Futsal a 1-0 half-time lead. Rowley Forrester would hit a free-kick straight at Ersberg after the break while Alexander Frolov had a header saved by Roberts at the other end. Futsal’s free-kick bombard continued with Forrester firing an effort just over the bar while a mishit shot by Luciano Salvatori gave them the second goal they craved. Torben Kummel could only place his free-kick into the grateful arms of Roberts at the other end as the home side crashed to a 2-0 defeat. Jake’s side are in an excellent position ahead of their massive double-header with TCM and the young manager will be hopeful of a happy ending to an impressive campaign thus far. The Kings fell into the bottom three on the back of the defeat and now face a crunch few days as they meet the team in direct opposition to them; Juventus.
Juventus warmed up for that clash with a 4-2 home victory over the plummeting Reggae Reggae Sauce. Juve would waste a host of first-half chances with Mullen punching away a volley by Jorn Fruh before Kristoffer Lindfors lobbed over. A free-kick by Jacobo Chacros was easily saved by Mullen while a header by the forward also went over the bar. Lindfors would power a shot straight at the ‘keeper before Juve eventually took the lead; Lindfors this time shooting through the legs of Mullen on 35 minutes. Lindfors would also see a shot go over in an eventful first-half for him personally. Joaquin Messi quickly made it 2-0 after the break with a smart toe-poke while a free-kick from Obadele Eliakwu needed saving by Mullen. A curled effort from Lindfors defeated the ‘keeper on 53 minutes to make it 3-0 and James Wade nearly made it 4-0 by heading close to his own goal. It would be 4-0 shortly afterwards as Fruh lobbed over Mullen. Sauce did find some pride in the closing stages and Declan McManaman headed in to make it 4-1. Lindfors missed a hat-trick chance for the hosts and Leroy Nugent would make the score even more respectable with a fine strike deep into injury-time. It’s now three wins in a row for SuperJuve and if the boss can make it five over the coming week then they will be in a very decent position for the second-half of the campaign. Xpertelevener was busy in the transfer market after the game as he sought to bring some excitement to the long suffering fans of RRS.
Back at the top end of the table Belly Tubbies kept up their recent progress with the expected win over St Omer by the score of 4-1. Gary Stevens went close with a header on three minutes and they would be in front shortly afterwards; Paul Bracewell shooting home from inside the area on nine minutes. Peter Reid forced a fine save out of Hamshaw from a chip before Adrian Heath made it 2-0 with a beautiful header on 23 minutes. The second-half opened with Omer pulling a goal back courtesy of a powerful strike by Jorn Schone. However, Tubbies would be dominant from this point on and increased their lead thanks to an accurate Beach Ball shot on 65 minutes. Stevens lobbed in the fourth on 83 minutes and only an excellent save from Hamshaw denied Pat van de Hauwe from an exceptional free-kick. Fitzy’s side are now tucked into third spot and two clashes with RRS give them the opportunity to strengthen their position over the next seven days. Omer maintain excellent form despite their woes and CT will be counting down the weeks to the next change report.
The Lone Wanderers kept themselves in touch with a breathtaking 4-3 triumph over Arsenal UK. A penalty on eight minutes gave Evandro Lemos the perfect opportunity to put the hosts 1-0 ahead and he made no mistake. Stephen Julius would hit a free-kick straight at Fabianski before Theo Walcott responded for Arsenal by lobbing a header over. Arsenal would level, though, on 28 minutes as Eduardo da Silva headed home with some precision. The forward would then see a flick header warded off by Peyton before Abou Diaby put a header off-target as the visitors finished the half on top. The second-half saw Diaby power in a brilliant shot to put Arsenal in front before William Gallas lobbed a header just over. However, the hosts would hit back strongly towards the end of the game and Julius might have levelled with a thumping free-kick which hit the woodwork. They would draw level on 81 minutes with Chano Paya curling in beautifully but just a minute later they would be behind again; da Silva poaching a goal after a corner was delivered dangerously by Diaby. The Lone Wanderers didn’t let this goal deflate them much to their credit and a Paya toe-poke swiftly had them level. Then on 90 minutes a dramatic shot from Frans Fleischer defeated Fabianski to leave Arsenal heartbroken and the home fans celebrating wildly. HH will have been over the moon with the victory which leaves them just three points off first while DomBrown admitted his side’s ‘defence could not handle the 4 strikers of the Wanderers.
These Charming Men might be rueing missed chances as they came away from Kroklund with a point following a 1-1 draw. There would be only one chance in the first-half as Chano Delgado got his shot all wrong and missed by some distance. Bosse Bong stunned the visitors early in the second-half with a coolly taken free-kick which left Derksen helpless. Gerard Caffrey saw a powerful shot go within inches of levelling as TCM hit back strongly. A free-kick by Tord Jakobson was saved comfortably by Kangashaka but there was nothing the ‘keeper could do about a diving header by Delgado deep into injury-time to salvage a point for the visitors. RDCM will hope for better finishing in his side’s two clashes with Futsal but will be pleased with how his side is performing generally. Bossebong also has a tough double-header with Splott and how many points they gain from these contests will determine their ambition for the rest of the season.

Wortley Walk In Five
Wortley kept hold of first place in Division Three with a routine 5-0 victory over Jammas AllStars. In a one-sided game Spencer Knight had already had a toe-poke saved by Frezzolini before Brandon Hiller placed home the opener on 11 minutes following a rapid break. Rai Kike steered in number two on 14 minutes and a flick header by Walter Willock went just wide as the hosts dominated. Kike lobbed in the third on 20 minutes and a free-kick by Paulinho Santos nearly broke the net on 36. Quincy Bowey showed a clinical side to his game on 42 minutes to complete a first-half master-class by the league leaders. The second-half proved a mere formality as the sides resorted to just knocking the ball around; Wortley happy with their win and the AllStars keen not to suffer further damage. A trip to Thunder awaits Thegreatlordbags and his side and they will be keen to maintain their touch in front of goal as the season reaches the halfway point. Jamma will be assessing which players to keep and which will be on their way as the club grows under his leadership.
Morley continue to keep the pressure on at the top with a strong 2-0 away victory over Rolling Thunder. A first minute chance provided the opening goal for the visitors as Dustin Wotton headed home. Thunder would play their part in an open contest but Yiannis Koutsis’ header was tipped over by Zubeldia while Wotton’s chip was theatrically saved at the other end. The home side continued to see openings themselves and Ludo Cappellacci was desperately unlucky as his powerful shot brushed a post. Florian Arnautu put a header over for the visitors while Gwilym Cullip’s shot was turned away by McArraway and the sides went in with just the one goal separating them. Thunder saw Benjamin Unesson miss a headed chance while Wotton was denied by the ‘keeper at the other end. Morley would finish the stronger as Helder Velez put a header against the bar before seeing his free-kick stopped by the legs of the ‘keeper. Art Boyle did make it 2-0 with a clever flick header and although John Obi Mikel went close at the other end the visitors had done enough to secure victory. Leeg21 will now be focusing on six points in the double-header with Alsancak as they look to make the turn in the season in first place. Jimmy admitted that their ‘horrible run continues’ while wondering ‘what has happened’ to his team. The fans retain faith that the talented manager will turn things round soon, though.
Dream Team complete the top three and were in fine form in a 5-2 success at FCR Cressex. It would be their superior finishing that would win the day as both sides created eight chances in an open game. An Adam Aspire drive opened the scoring for the visitors on three minutes before Garry Gain powered in a shot which needed catching by Ikhala on 16 minutes. Emil Rojas had the hosts’ first chance of the day but his header went over before Carsario Falcioni also had trouble directing a headed chance. Garry Gain placed in a shot to make it 2-0 on 22 minutes and a free-kick by Dudley Dream needed saving by the ‘keeper. Lauro Poggi headed over for the hosts while Douglas Wallberg demanded a reflex save from Delirious as they struggled in front of goal. Aspire would then make it 3-0 with an excellent volley and it would be 4-0 as Warren Wish thumped in a low long range shot. Cressex had a response after the break but Cabbar Saatcioglu shot off-target with their first chance. He would pull a goal back moments later, though, as he lobbed a header over Delirious. Dominik Brno fuelled hopes of a comeback with a fine header but Wallberg’s powerful shot smashed against the bar and their belief seemed to ebb away. The visitors added a further goal as Gain placed home a nice shot and he was only centimetres away from a hat-trick as his header went just wide. MrJames will want his defence to tighten up but his side are where he would want them to be at this stage and no less than six points against the AllStars will be his aim. Villan_RAS will be looking for his players to find some form in the second-half of the season following a disappointing first ten matches.
Gooners hung onto their unbeaten record following a tough examination at Alsancak. Kyle Lang’s powerful shot was easily held by Cirkovic before he chipped against the angle as the visitors started the better. Despite this it would be Alsancak who would strike the front thanks to a brilliant free-kick by Gabriel Baldwin just before the break. Miles Beckett missed the chance to double the lead after the interval as he side-footed high over the bar and they paid for this miss as Broderick Shilton toe-poked home following a corner. Lang was denied by the ‘keeper before they found themselves behind once more as Rory Burston made no mistake from the spot. Gooners showed great resilience, though, and Sonny Baron put the finishing touch to an excellent counter. Baldwin would have a free-kick saved by Lima while Eoghan Millar lobbed over as the hosts couldn’t force a winning goal. FMRealism called the game ‘sketchy’ but hailed his young ‘keeper for his character after an indifferent display. Wienersnitzel’s side continue to show great promise and are nicely tucked into mid-table ahead of the turn.
1863 Munich recorded an important win under Anderson’s leadership as they edged EspAda 2-1 at home. Turlough Daly put a header wide before Toma Popadic’s bicycle-kick was saved by Kerrigan as the home side started on the front foot. Allan Bound had the visitors’ first chance but it wouldn’t trouble Blacksmith and the sides went in goalless. Paolo Ballotta put a header against a post before Daly toe-poked home the opener for the hosts on 53 minutes. A minute later and Ballotta had doubled the advantage with an excellent header to leave EspAda reeling. Diego Maradona chipped over as they searched for a response and the forward would also smash a shot wide as frustration grew. Vedin Sinanovic would then hit a free-kick straight at Blacksmith who would also save well from Maradona’s next shot. Daly would waste a headed chance at the other end and Zihni Demiray set up a tense finale with a clinical finish on 80 minutes for EspAda. They couldn’t force any more openings, though, and the home side held on for a much-needed win. Anderson called it ‘a tight game’ but the result was just ‘what the team needed.’ Malteseexpert’s side are stuck in the middle of the table and the second-half of the campaign will be about planning for a stronger season next time out.
Mighty Mojos took advantage of a home game against Norfolk to record their first win under Joshy85’s leadership. Timotei Buta shot in from distance for the opener on three minutes before Ferdinand Quinn had a header saved. Terrance Norman put his shot wide before Ronald Stoneman got his effort completely wrong as the home side put pressure on Norfolk. Norman would make it 2-0 on 21 minutes by steering in a clever shot before Buta side-footed in the third on 34. Norman flicked a header wide before the break but they could be satisfied with their three-goal lead at the break. Phillip Williams toe-poked wide at the start of the second-half while Buta was denied by Olausson. Norman would make it 4-0 on the hour, though, with a shot after a corner and Ronald Stoneman placed home the fifth on 73 minutes as the Mojos began improving their goal difference. Norman was in the right place to pinch a sixth on 85 minutes to complete a personal hat-trick and to ensure the fans would go home happy. Joshy was obviously happy with his side’s win which he explained was the ‘biggest of the day.’ Howemiester will be used to days like these and will no doubt experience more before the season’s end.

Shiv Off?
Totaalvoetbal fell to a deserved 2-0 defeat at Kirkbride Strollers as their championship challenge came off the rails.
Goals from Keith Ellison and Stephen Robinson ended a lacklustre Totaal challenge to leave them seven points off the pace.
Robin Meeblind was quick to put Shivan Preetnav on the transfer-list as he looks to bring in funds which will aid training for the rest of the season.
“I don’t want to lose Preetnav but for the long-term good of the squad I need to get some funds in. We are blessed with quality strikers so that was the area we could lose a player.
“Hopefully, he’ll find a home his talents deserve.”

Aargh
So close. A good all round game by the Bonkers only got a draw out of the last match has driven the manager bonkers. "What! Ball in net, not crowd you morons!!!!" was all that was heard during the entire game as the strikers failed to find the net until only late in the game. This leaves the team hanging onto third but hopefully with some easier home games coming up the points can continue to flow. Next up a tough game with the Yorkies. Lets hope they play like a bunch of yorkshire pies.
Defeat
Following their first point of the season last week, St Omer were brought back down to earth yesterday as they suffered a 4 - 1 defeat against Belly Tubbies.
However, a goal is a goal and Cony certainly thinks the club is going in the right direction, all be it slowly.

Gooners Almost Slip Up!
Gooners played a dangerous game yesterday with a watered down side including many youngsters, most noticeable of which was their forced change felipe the young keeper who played a clanger. They came from behind twice to draw the game and keep their unbeaten record. The Manager will now have to look to re-address the issues during training and find a better balance. Although was not to disatisfied with the final result after some awful play from his team.
We are still in a good position and still have the players to win this league but these are risks we will have to take at certain points of this season, afterall football is a squad game. I will sit down with my players and work out where we went wrong but i dont place the blame at felipes door and he can only improve game by game. We are at hme next and we intend to return to winning ways!
