Ajtrader100 continued his impressive start to life at Special Ones with a draw with a strong Dream Team. Warren Wish opened the scoring for Dream Team with a powerful header from a corner in the 11th minute and another header, this time from Kris Krafty, would double their lead in the 16th minute. All of their hard work was undone however when Rufey Rowdy was sent off in the 49th minute. Special Ones made their numerical advantage count, getting a goal back through a 35 yard Alf Ackroyd shot and then bagging a draw with a late goal by Rick Tuttle. Dream Team would be happy with a draw given the circumstances, which leaves them a point off the promotion spot and Special Ones will also be pleased with an unexpected point which gives them a great chance of catching the sides above them and dragging themselves out of the relegation zone.
Final score: Special Ones MKII 2-2 Dream Team
FC Bayern Munchen made the Allianz Arena a fortress as they crushed one of the promotion favourites These Charming Men 3-0. Uncle Sam opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a terrific long range shot and then early in the second half a fantastic Billy Bob free kick would put the result beyond doubt. Billy Bob then put the icing on the cake with a 75th minute penalty. The result saw These Charming Men remain in 2nd place and Bayern remain in 6th but the gap between 7th and the promotion spots gets ever smaller.
Final score: FC Bayern Munchen 3-0 These Charming Men
Relegation threatened Wortley AFC would pull off the surprise result of the round beating top of the league Bully Boys FC 3-2 at The Western. Notorious Bully Boys Midfielder Sjunne Wenna would open the scoring in the 34th minute with a trademark powerful long range shot and then a few minutes after half time a poachers goal from Aatu Vuokki seemed to have sealed the win. Playing without pressure seemed to fire up Wortley and after a hopeful long range shot from Emmanuel Capwell went in to make it 2-1 it gave Wortley belief they could get something from the game and in the 55th minute, just a minute after their first goal Walter Willock struck to level the game. Wortley would have been delighted with a draw but full of confidence after their comeback Rai Kike struck a strong long range shot to seal the unexpected win the dying minutes of the game. This result still leaves Bully Boys four points clear at the top of the league and gives Wortley hope they may yet escape the clutches of relegation.
Final score: Wortley AFC 3-2 Bully Boys FC
Gooners would stay in the promotion spots with a hard earned point at Crimea River which would leave Crimea in the chasing pack and neither hinder or help their bid to be promoted. The two sides virtually cancelled each other out in a tight exciting tactical battle between two talented managers. The play was tight with the Gooners just edging the number of chances and it showed how tight it was with the Gooners scoring through Freddie Ljungberg in the 63rd minute only for Crimea to equalise in the 64th through Sid Peyton. It stayed that way until the end of the game. Gooners are concentrating on their younger players and ensuring they have the best possible progress but aren't out of the promotion battle yet and neither are Crimea.
Final score: Gooners 1-1 Crimea River
In another of the days close contests Juventus would haul themselves out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over The Kings. A goal in the 3rd minute from Alberto Morante would lay the foundations for their win. Otis Dove seemed to have earned The Kings a draw with a goal in the 75th minute but a late Alberto Morante penalty would earn Juve the points and his second goal of the game. The result leaves Juve a point below The Kings who sit in 8th and a point above Special Ones who are in 10th.
Final score: Juventus 2-1 The Kings
PSV Eindhoven would find themselves further rooted to the bottom and Abu Dhabi United cemented in mid table after Abu Dhabi's victory at Philips Stadion. Abu Dhabi manager by day and secret agent by night Talinmer had ordered his side to work on their heading and it paid off with two headed goals both coming from Jack Wilshire. Wilshire would open the scoring in the 22nd minute and score the winner in the 68th minute. Sandwiched in between these goals was an equaliser from fox in the box Iwan Balkaran but it proved to be in vain and PSV found they didn't have quite enough in the tank to seal the draw. With so many close defeats this season PSV may well be looking back on this as a point lost but will also see they aren't far from turning the ship around and it isn't too late to get out of trouble yet. Talinmer will be delighted his side are away from the relegation battle and may even have secret ambitions for a promotion push.
Final score: PSV Eindhoven 1-2 Abu Dhabi United
