big match
Splott Rovers have a big game coming up against Real Madrid, a win would put all the pressure on them and take us a few points clear. Of course there is still a long way to go but thewse are the games we look to win in our bid to stay up this season.....
Anime's run faces stern test
After loosing for the second time this season some might have doubted Anime Allstars FC's gritt when faced with the prospect of facing the league leaders away from home. Untill the match Juventus had not dropped a single point !
So cue the Silly-Cup winners !
Anime Allstars FC are used to punching above their weight following their shock Silly-Cup win in pre-season warm up. Nothing is impossible under the eyes of manager Joshy. In a solid defensive display Anime Allstars FC became the first team to take off any points from the high flying Juventus in a 0-0 draw. John Sapienza rolled back the years in a brilliant display in goal for the Anime Allstars. This draw was after they had held Jeventus's close rivals PSV Eindhoven in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Anime came from a goal down to lead PSV 2-1 till they finally made things 2-2. Following their succesfull 0-0 draw with Juventus Anime have now done the double over St Omer. Winning 1-2 away from home and stuffing them 5-1 at home. Up next for Anime Allstars FC is another stern test when Anime host Juventus. Juventus are still 4 points clear at the top and are steam rolling their way to Division 2 next season. Joshy had this to say ahead of the match...
" We have started to string some great results together and i think our season has finally taken off. The club was elevated after taking points off Juventus who undoubtedly will seek revenge. We upset their flow and following our 0-0 draw Juventus lost their first game of the season to their rivals PSV. We are not out to do PSV any favours but we will not sit back at home we aim for promotion and i strongly believe that goal is more then in our grasp. "

Two draws leaves City in Trouble
Bristol City manager Stevenson is today counting the cost of back to back draws against AJ Rovers this week. Having gone into the games thinking that he could bag 6 points, the manager decided to play some of the less experienced team members to give them match experience. 'The lads did good but I feel it cost us the points. Hopefully we can win a few of the next games to move us clear of the relegation zone'.
Trader Routs
A surprising week for Crimea River as Ithaqua's team of urchins and street children somehow secured a point from the mid-season double header against Special Ones MKII.
Ray Polteg was the hero for River in the home leg of the double header as his 76th minute header cancelled out Alf Ackroyd's opened for Special. In truth the result was incredibly harsh on the visitors who dominated for long periods of the game but lacked a cutting edge in the final third.
Normal service was resumed for River in the return fixture at The Reccy with Special Ones MKII running out easy 3-0 winners with manager Ajtrader100 even securing the manager of the round against side with an average age of four and who haven't changed formation since dinosaurs roamed Numinous park.

Unbeaten in 5
Special Ones find some form.
After a terrible start to the league campaign the side have managed a run of five unbeaten matches, with a side that are underperforming and well under the average age rule.
The run of points have dragged the side out of the relegation zone, but only by a gnats nut. In addition the last round saw the gaffa pick up hs first manager of the round award, which was especially sweet as the game was against arch-nemesis Ithaqua's Crimea River.
The gaffa also wants to publicly back Admin Solo in the recent events, hopefully he will return soon.

Back to back victories against OAP Pop Punk has reliefed some of the pressure on manager Markham33 , his side has struggled so far this season in a league that is very tight and indeed the title and relegation will probably go down to the wire .
With funds available Markham has been looking for players to strengthen his squad but as of yet has had no luck.
Next up is another tough game at home against Kirkbride Strollers

good draw
With this round the second half of the season has started and we are satisfied with the draw we achieve with Totaalvoetbal. We aware that every point with 'top' teams is a sucess in a situation we are!
The team is now on the last place and few wins will be needed if we want to stay in top league.

Totaal Enjoy Tough Week
Totaalvoetbal came out of a tricky week in good shape and also signed a player they had been chasing for some time.
With a double-header against The Vikings looming the news the reigning champions had appointed a new manager in Xmensch only made the task tougher.
However, Totaal would take advantage of the visitor’s poor form to defeat them 4-1 in the first game. Wiliam Ralph Dean, a brace from Antonello Ballarin and a header by Ramiro Verona ensured Justin Portway’s goal was a mere consolation for The Vikings.
In the time between the two matches Robin Meeblind completed the capture of midfielder Bosse Bong, sacrificing Raymond Putnam in the deal to capture the former Kroklund Kings star.
He would be thrown into the return match-up where an improving Vikings earned a draw. Portway would level the game after Verona had put Totaal ahead and that would be all of the scoring.
Robin Meeblind declared himself “delighted” to have signed Bong and “more than satisfied” with a four point return from the two matches which sees them two behind leaders Arsenal DB.

No Complaints
Despite being thoroughly outclassed by the league leaders. Kadri had no complaints.
"The fully deserved their win, we might as well have not shown up. That kind of performance is why they are leading the league. Ims still happy that after those 2 games we came out with 3 points. Unfortunately with us and Juve taking points of each other the others behind us have closed the gap. So the pressure is on to regain lost form.

Bonkers
Oh dear, we are back to hair pulling again. The manager lost it with the ref and his players today as some how Bonkers managed to loose at home against a team they had easily dispatched away a few days ago. This meant the unbeaten run came to a sudden, unexpected end. Sadly. "Even a draw would have been better, grrr...." as the manager walked past hte press people angrily going home to be tied up in his straight jacket again. The team is a little in chaos after such a poor, england like, performance. Hopefully they can pick themselves up and have just as solid second half to the season. With the players on board, lets hope so.
Gamble Pays Off
Arsenal took a gamble and played their slightly injured goalkeeper in an attempt to make up for thir horror show in the last game.
It paid off as he got through the the full game and netted a pen for Arsenal. It was a fairly tight game but Arsenal took all 3 points. It was abit of a patchy formation with their key striker banned for 2 matches.
Up next is a massive game against The Vikings, with their key striker out Brown feels this is a massive task!!

Loss
Cony Tottee's Essex Irons suffered another defeat on tuesday when they lost 2 - 1 at home to Anime Allstars FC.
the Irons face them again today, and it is unlikely that Conys men will be able to revenge this defeat as he once again gives his fringe players a game.

What the pop punk is going on?
Pop Punks one and only fan turned on the television. He flicked over to sky sports news, he'd been waiting all day for the press conference in which the clubs manager Paddy Mckeever would reveal the clubs transfer plans. Paddy walked into the room, sat down and began to speak.
"Thanks for coming but I'll keep this short and sweet, my favourite player Bosse Bong has been sold today in an exchange for Totaalvoetbal's Raymond Putnam plus cash. Its well documented our desperate need for a new defender and I've got a replacement midfielder lined up. This side is probably four or five seasons away from challenging for the title so we may as well just build now with that in mind. Bong is a fantastic player and will only get better but to ensure our survival this season we needed a defender and I'm sure in time I can adequately replace him."
Mckeever stood up as if to leave but then ran back to the microphone and quickly and very loudly announced
"Our entire strike force is for sale, particularly Tonizu, they are all fantastic players but we are desperate for a quick sale, any managers watching sky sports news today and seeing this should contact me immediately to work out a bargain deal for one of my strikers"
So what is going on at Pop Punk? We're not even sure their manager actually knows!

Player sales
Izuka has been busy with Flare United recently. Late last night, a deal was agreed between Flare United and Bristol City which saw United defender Alex Dickov move to City.
"This presents a great opportunity for me," said Dickov before the move. "At the moment, I am seventh-choice defender at United, but moving to Bristol City will promote me to maybe fifth-choice or so."
Little did Dickov know that two big defensive stars for Flare United will be moving tonight, meaning Dickov could have been fifth-choice defender at a higher division club if he had stayed at Flare, not to mention the recent injury to Lawrie Gow.

Borja Shows Heart Is In It
A confident in form Gooners team visited this seasons whipping boys Imitators yesterday, Gooners played a team made up mainly of youth and inexperience as the manager looked to find the vital DV they may need come end of season. There were fine performances from Overmars, new guy Vermaelen and the ever impressive and entusiastic Wellington Silva. The show was stolen by one Igor Akinfeev though who in the end seemed to be making saves for the cameras and who has been in fine form all season. Last season this young player was impatient, continually out of form and throwing his dummy out of the pram... this season we have seen a different player and the managers plans to get rid of both keepers this season, has been the wake up call Akinfeev has needed.
It would be the experienced heads that grabbed the points this time round though as Leonardo Borja showed why his manager was tracking him all of last season. Borja came to Highbury with a promise that he would refind his scoring boots and return to the top division and currently these look to be promises the manager will deliver! Borja looked a different player today and will surely be one of the driving forces if Gooners are successful in their quest for top flight football, this has not passed the manager by and Borja has been given, more and more responcibility week on week.
Borja grabbed two goals and Bergkamp killed the game from the spot making the score 3 - 0 and for 10 minutes atleast Gooners regained the top spot in the division... although come final whistle Greatness would hold that position with Gooners moving two points closer to them. It is a huge ask for a developing Gooners team to finish above Greatness, but the manager is totally focused on doing so even if it means having to beat them at their own turf. Any points taken from Greatness in this mid-season period will be a massive help to Gooners plans and RDCM did a fine job yesterday and nearlly walked away with three vital points.
We grabbed a few word with a very happy Gooners boss:
"Everything is coming good for us at the right time, we had some early problems with injuries and our season could have easily been over at that point, but the squad has coped well and we grabbed vital points in the big games from the right teams. We still have alot to do to call ourselves contenders but we are in a nice position currently and able to put the pressure on the other teams. Facing Imitators at home next then Amateurs, means there is a real possibility to make up some ground in the next two games... from then on in we will need a bit of luck, players to remain fit and in form and to be properly prepared.
Those young players must gain as much experience as they can now and then be ready if called upon in the closing stages... I think we may peak at the correct moment though, players such as Bergkamp and Henry have impressive stats year after year and you would have to feel there is still alot of goals to come from these players and that maybe the difference. An in form and fit Gooners side is tough for any team to beat, and over the next two games my focus must be on gaining young players the DV they require whilst getting our key players to the top of their game... in regards to this we are happy with the progess currently.
Tactically Greatness do have weak spots and we need to keep pushing 100% in this period as RDCM and Cath look to put their seasons back on track, we certainly feel confident Bullies may get the three points they need which may secure a promotion place for them. For Bullies it looks to be the most important game of the season and a win would surely dampen the very real threat that is looming in the form of Carthage. There is also a new challenge in the form of Strollers, many will not be fancying this game but we are always looking for new challenges and are happy to be facing what I feel is now one of the top teams in the league!"

Shocked
We'll keep this short and sweet. To beat Juventus 2-1 and still remain unbeaten half way through the season unbeaten is just incredible.
We'll be visiting Juve on their own turf next and we know what to expect. MASSACRE...

Spotlight: Round 11
Among the highly-anticipated clashes this round were the season debuts of two new coaches in the top flight. Xmensch, having taken over The Vikings, would travel to Metelo Park to take on contenders Totaalvoetbal while Izuka, having just returned to the RMI, would take Flare United to Thundera Grounds to take on twice champions ThunderCats F.C who were fresh off the back of a 4-1 thrashing of OAP Pop Punk, Izuka's old side.
At Metelo Park, the hosts would start well with William Ralph Dean so enthusiastic on the attack that he was unsportsmanlike, and rightly earned a yellow card in the 7th minute. About 10 minutes later, though, Dean would make up for his light error with a volley from a Shirsh Vajpayee corner leading to the opening goal. Dean, however, would remain enthusiastic and went in hard on Anastasios Tassiopoulos, who had to be replaced by Gary Fieldwick with just under half an hour of the game gone. Dean's possible second booking went to The Vikings' Ferdinand Quinn, though, as the midfielder tried to rush the referee to book Dean while he was mulling things over in his mind.
One shot and one goal for Totaalvoetbal so far, and Pierre van Diemen went close to doubling the lead as the Dutch striker sent a long shot skimming over the crossbar just minutes after the restart. Antonello Ballarin would go one better than his colleague, the midfielder curling a first-time long shot into the top corner, Dean turning provider as his 51st-minute square ball provided the chance. The Vikings would claw a goal back as Ilmari Jukka's long ball forward was latched onto by Justin Portway in the 56th minute. Just 3 minutes later, though, Totaal would restore their 2-goal advantage as Ramiro Verona smacked a header from Cal Beardsley's cross straight through Dudley Connely's outstretched palms. Just a minute later, Ballarin nicked the ball off Portway on the restart and, spotting Connely off his line, curled a beautiful 40-yard effort just wide of the top corner. Quinn nearly pulled one back for the visitors as his 64th-minute freekick skimmed over the crossbar, reminiscent of van Diemen's earlier effort for the hosts.
With the game starting to wind down, The Vikings were content to keep the ball and salvage a little pride from a decent share of possession, picking up two more bookings in their efforts to keep the ball. Zlatan Izuhimovic nearly scored his first of the campaign as he side-footed a shot right into Connely and the keeper would make another brilliant save to deny Dean a headed goal. There was nothing he could do about Totaal's next chance, though, as Ballarin smacked a freekick right into the top corner. Final score: Totaalvoetbal 4-1 The Vikings.
Izuka, on his return to the RMI, opted for a very defensive 5-3-2 formation with his out of form side, with their opponents playing an offensive 4-3-3. It was a game of few chances as United packed all 11 men behind the ball, Izuka's exact instructions being to "play for a draw". Giorgio Blundetto would pick up a booking in the 7th minute for stamping, ThunderCats' Eric Cantona following suit 2 minutes later for dangerous play. A freekick for ThunderCats would then cause problems for United as goalkeeper Alex Bogefeldt ordered an 8-man wall, leaving United's experienced last man Gabriel Islas to pick up any stray Cats while Ernie Ormondroyd was poised for a quick breakaway on the edge of the centre circle. United need not have worried, though, as Bogefeldt, arguably the most worried player on the team in the situation, pulled off a fine stop to deny Raimundo Lange. Lawrie Gow would go off injured with under 10 minutes left to the break, leaving Izuka with no choice but to plunge young Alasdair Logan into the fray.
The first bit of action in the second half came close to the hour mark as United captain Ormondroyd was brought down in the penalty area and opted to take the spotkick himself. The captain was poised to carry out Izuka's orders to "play for a draw" and slide the ball right down the centre to Carlos Magro when he heard a stray call of "SHOOT!!!!" from the bench and cracked his World Cup edition Adidas Predator X's right through the ball, propelling it into the top corner. The hosts would pick up two more bookings, more specifically Marcelino Morte and Lange, as they fought to get back into the game but, like his Vikings counterpart, Izuka was content with his team playing to earn a larger share of possession. Sílvio Falcão had the best chance of levelling the scoreline but the striker, in his haste to crack the ball at Bogefeldt, was miles off target. Ashton Crosby would have the last chance of the game as he side-footed the ball into Magro.
A triumphant return for Izuka, while Xmensch was not quite so successful. Elsewhere, league leaders Arsenal DB lost 3-1 at Pahang United to blow the title race wide open, while a further combination of wins for Kirkbride, AFC Stanley and Splott Rovers blew the league table wide open, at the top and at the bottom.

Why God, why?
Arsenal were left feeling that the gods were against them today after they were beaten 3-1 by Pahang Utd.
It was going to plan as Arsenal went 1-0 up but things soon turned for the worst when their lone striker Asprilla was shown a straight red leaving Arsenal with no real attacking power. To add insult to injury they then lost star keeper Almunia through injury, the two losses proved too much as the home team then knocked 3 goals past them in around 6 minutes.
Brown is left wondering if his back up keeper can hack it in this league.
"It was a very strange day, its put us back as its allowed other teams to close the gap. We had 2 massive losses and it cost us the match, go to give credit to Pahang as they kept at us, worked hard and got the 3 points"
"This will make the next match against them even harder, form was badly hit and we have players out. But, these are the things we face in football, we will just do our best with what we have"

Great result for Shep
I went to Dogsbodiez pet shop today and bought a massive fish tank for the office for 50 notes. I've bought loads of fish and it looks great next to the wide screen telly.
I wonder when the first game is? Surely one of the coaches will tell me. Or maybe one of the players when I meet them.

3 goals in 4 minutes
Thats was an awesome performance by Pahang team tonight. The manager was very delighted with that impressive unbelievable results.
Head to head now and i'm sure my players will never let me down. Arsenal DB is a favourite team to win this league but we are able to beat them. Thats was luck + luck + luck.

Interview with a manager - Ithaqua
As elusive as he is poetic, its taken a while but I've managed to catch a few words with the man, the myth, the legend that is Crimea River boss Ithaqua. I caught up with him at his clubs training ground and joined Ithaqua for a bicycle ride and then sat down for a lovely cup of tea. Here is what we discussed:
Paddy: "So Ith before we get to the football stuff, what do you do to take your mind off xpert11?"
Ithaqua: "I never take my mind off X11 :) Occasionally I do manage to free up the time to watch the odd movie or play some other computer games, Guild Wars and Uncharted at the moment, or play some Magic the Gathering."
Paddy: "Did you enjoy being a VIP member of this site? do you feel it changed you in any way?"
Ithaqua: "It was okay. Changing the strips for a few weeks was mildly diverting but nothing else really held my attention for long. Heck I didn't even give all my players comedy names this time round!"
Paddy: "Have you always had such an extensive vocabulary and a talent for poetry?"
Ithaqua: "Online Thesaurus ftw :)"
Paddy: "Care to provide us with a poem now? maybe one about our lovely day at Crimea River's training ground and this interview?
Ithaqua: "A chat with the Crimea River boss,
for words a man rarely at loss,
his insights both witty and punny,
are never terribly funny,
But, frankly, does anyone give a toss?
Can you imagine sinking so low,
while going for a cycle with Solo',
and falling off of your bike,
as your head it did strike,
On a bridge that really was so low.
After witnessing yet another defeat,
Extra training to mitigate further loss,
Yet to taste victory,
a side desperate to win,
In their next match once again soundly beaten."
Paddy: "What is your take on Pink Bus Riders manager Kilie_gers?"
Ithaqua: "Kilie was bit like marmite. While he brought a certain je ne sais quoi to the various leagues he was in he was not really to anyone's taste. However his unique take on what made an X11 league interesting did provide an entertaining diversion from the norm.
There's only so many match report or "I R AWESUM!!1!111eleven!' PR's I can read before considering stabbing my eyes out with a spoon so Kilie's efforts to stir up a bit of banter were a welcome diversion."
Paddy: "Now onto Crimea River, its been noted in some quarters that you've taken a highly controversial long term, youth player aim to build your squad, what would you say to your detractors?"
Ithaqua: "It's not so much a long term approach as an experiment
on the impact of DV to a youth side. While not entirely a subscriber to the 'the sky is falling' hysteria surrounding DV it was pretty clear that the side I took over would be pretty hamstrung in terms of accruing DV and that a squad overhaul was sorely needed."
Paddy: "has any of your youth players surpassed your expectations?"
Ithaqua: "Unfortunately the savage performance cut from the average age rule hamstrings any of the poor kids from putting in anything resembling a decent performance.
There might just be a few who, if not sold and barring a plethora of random injuries, could go on to develop into some outstanding players though."
Paddy: "Given that Marcel Desailly is the only player in your entire squad over the age of 20 are there different expectations on him compared with the rest of your squad?"
Ithaqua: "Desailly actually provided an opportunity to test a couple of theories. Primarily I wanted to see just how much a high skill player in one position influences the DV gain for younger players in the same position. I can then compare the DV with a player in a position where there was no high-skill oldie and see if there are any differences.
He's also not getting any form training him to see how often a player rubber bands back up to his base form. High form players seem to rubber band down quite frequently and I was curious if the reverse was true."
Paddy: "Where do you see your side in five seasons time?"
Ithaqua: "Firmly rooted to the bottom of division three. With almost entirely different players. And an average age of ten."
Paddy: "What were your first impressions when you took over the
club?"
Ithaqua: "First impression was that the existing side was pretty good. Immediately followed by the realisation that the existing squad was pretty old and had no real room for development. The previous seasons CR of only 6 skill bars of improvement backed that impression up."
Paddy: "Any aims for this season?"
Ithaqua: "Keep the injuries down and the DV high. Both, sadly,
outwith my control. Well, beyond playing careful aggression all the time anyway. Maybe getting my manager skill down to 0 too."
Paddy: "and finally, who do you think will win the World Cup?"
Ithaqua: "Brazil. Assuming their defenders can overcome their
wannabe-striker urges."
Paddy: "So Ith before we get to the football stuff, what do you do to take your mind off xpert11?"

The boss considers a McFadden sale
After some torrid recent luck in recent weeks, which has been worsened recently by the latest crisis to hit TCM with the injury of inspirational midfielder Mauricio Capdevila, boss RDCM has started to contemplate the previously unthinkable prospect of selling Shaun McFadden.
It had always been the bosses plan to build a side for the future around the20 year old inspirational hard training midfielder, however the thought of 20 million plus econ for rebuilding is starting to look a little more inviting.
Will the boss part with his prized asset? Only time will tell...........

draw x4
four draws on the trot is not great form, and we seriously need a win if we are going to keep our heads above the water over the next few weeks. The players are giving their all but we need a bit of luck to get those elusive 3 points. Getting a win against the impressive Santos FC won't be easy. These are testing times
Shep moves in
Riverside Shep has been making himself comfortable at Holgate today, buying a brand new sofa for the office, a nice wide screen telly and a mini fridge and xbox for his private toilet for keeping him entertained during those "two flush" visits
Some time soon I will get around to looking at the squad.

Cath Delighted With Izuka Return
This is a great step-up for the league and will certainly only make the top division more competitive. I have no doubts whatsoever that Flare United will be in the RM Invitational next season.
It is high on my list now to play Izzy again and hopefully we can be promoted in the next few seasons so I can fulfill that and renew a deadly rivalry!

The Vikings
As you may noticed The Vikings got a new manager! On press conference he was full of ambitions and his plans for this season are: 1. training that players gets their normal form from disaster at the moment and 2. stay in RM Invitational. The second won't be an easy project but there has half season left and that means 36 avaliable points!

Trader gets forum ban, could this spell the end.
Kilie_gers famously tussled with forum moderators just days before his departure, and now fellow MSE 3 manager ajtrader100 seems to be slipping down the same slope.
Despite the rumours the outspoken gaffa has vowed to keep his big gob shut and concentrate on staying in Division 2 in the RMI.
It seems the manager has grabbed hold of the downward spiral and the side are now unbeaten in 3. The next step will be to grab some wins, and maybe the side can achieve their goals.

Bristol City Manager happier this week
Bristol City manager Stevenson is this week much happier after actually finishing a game with 11 players on the pitch and no injuries. After winning 3-0 against African Imitators the manager could only sing the praises of new signing Lipscombe after he was handed his chance due to the horrific injury to Rankine at the hands of the Gooners a few weeks ago. 'That lad is a real star. He scored one and assisted another. When we have the return leg with the Gooners in a few games time I hope he can bang a couple in to show there boss FM Realism what he is missing'.
'Refereeing Standards a Total Disgrace'
Town News
Morley manager launched a scathing attack on the standard of refereeing in the RM Invitational labelling them 'A Total Disgrace' after yet another dubious penalty was awarded against his team, a penalty which proved decisive in Morley Town's recent encounter with FC Bayern Munich.
Half of the goals Morley have conceded this season have come from the penalty spot despite not employing the Bruise tactic and sitting in mid-table in the fair play league, also it is worth noting that Morley have been on the receiving end of numerous injuries to their players through the early part of this season due to poor challenges and dangerous play by their opponents.

Arsenal Stay Top
Arsenal took little pride in beating the then managerless Vikings team but 3 points are welcomed as they stay at the top. Brown feels with a real tough double header and the Vikings will have time to train up before their next meet, things won't be the same.
"The next 3 games i think will have a massive say on the title, we have one of the harder draws based on current results but we will try our best"

Manager changes
Most people in the league will be aware that I've returned by now, but here are three other managerial changes recently.
Talinmer has taken over West Brom Strollers who were excellent under Dinkydave, once winning the RM Invitational and once winning Division 1, but they were relegated last season, so hopefully, Talinmer can restore the club to its former glory. Talinmer was formerly the manager of Abu Dhabi United in Division 2, who now have a new manager as you will read below.
Xmensch has switched clubs from AC Milan in Division 2 to take over Eaglesrjh's The Vikings in the top flight. We all miss our admin but I'm sure Xmensch can maintain The Vikings' status as one of the biggest clubs in the RMI.
Finally, Riversideshep has taken over Abu Dhabi United from Talinmer and renamed them Holgate Pathetic. Riversideshep hails from Middlesbrough, England and he also plays in RDCM's Elitists League. The club have been on a downward slide since winning the RMI under Cathal in season 1, so hopefully their 3rd active manager and 4th manager ever can guide them back to the RMI in the near future.
To Riversideshep, welcome to the league! And to all of you, good luck with your new clubs!

Congratulations and welcome.
Congratulations to Xmensch on taking over at The Vikings and Talinmer on taking over at West Brom Strollers.
Also a welcome back to Izuka who is now back in the RMI with Smurftastic Smurfs who he has now renamed Flare United.
and a big welcome to a new manager to the RMI, Riversideshep has taken over Abu Dhabi United.
Good luck to all with their new teams.

It Happens
PSV were left a little disappointed against London Gunners. Once again I believe that's a game we should have won comfortably but failed to. It rubs salt to wound after realising Juventus also dropped points. We could have closed the gap on them and extended it against the chasing packs of the 4 teams behind us.
I feel in the past 2 games one fact as been confirmed. We are still a young developing team otherwise those chances would have been sealed.
This I'm sure will be exposed against Juve. They are the superior team in so many ways. If we can get a point in the 2 games I'll be happy.
I still believe our players should be proud of themselves so far. Sitting 2nd considering the teams behind us is a real achievement. So we wont be disheartened if we get creamed :)

New manager
Izuka has returned to the RM Invitational, taking over Smurftastic Smurfs, now known as Flare United, just in time for the club's double header against ThunderCats F.C, who were consecutive league champions a couple of seasons ago. However, they have slipped to 4th and then 7th in recent seasons, and Izuka will hope to pull off an upset by taking all 6 points to get his side out of the relegation zone.
Oranje Take Up Chase
Totaalvoetbal lost ground to Arsenal DB this week but did pick up a vital win at the end of it to stay within three points at the top of the table.
A 1-0 reverse at Arsenal on Tuesday left Totaal chasing as the season moves towards the halfway mark. A Robin van Persie strike on 54 minutes was enough to give Dom’s side a 1-0 win which they fully deserved.
Totaal would respond by smashing four past Smurftastic Smurfs. However, they will have counted themselves somewhat fortunate as the arrival of Iz as new manager shortly after the game will undoubtedly boost the club in the coming weeks.
Antonello Ballarin, Ramiro Verona and a brace from Shirsh Vajpayee gave the visitors the three points but they will still look for more consistency ahead of the second-half of the campaign.

dropping of points
Juventus' imense run of winning has finally come to an end. A 0-0 draw against Anime Allstars FC saw the 1st dropping of points of the season. This may be due to the amount of injuries and suspensions running through the camp however no disrespect to Anime Allstars FC, they played well. A big game against psv next week could prove crucial in this title race
Carthage Expand Empire
Carthage FC have conquered another territory after a decisive 2-0 victory to AJ Rovers.
Carthage FC have now claimed 19 of the last 21points. Are are the inform team to beat.
Other than a minor injury which will mean Gisco misses the next match, all is looking rosey for Carthage before the double header to a strong but underperforming Kensington side.
Few would write off Carthage's chances as promotion candidates.
Blakey0500 is believed to be studying hard by watching every single world cup game to learn some shiny new tactics.
In other news. Our defence is the best. so HA-HA!

Division One Mid-Season Review
It is what many believe is the most important time of the season, either you have made a fantastic start, and must now try to hold your s**t together coming up with different tactics and trying not to run out of ideas. Or you have completly cocked everything up, everything that could go wrong has and it's your last chance to get it right and blaze a trail to glory! Some of you will be looking at the next four fixtures rubbing your hands together, whilst others will be panicing and racking their brains for anything that can keep their title/survival hopes alive against all the odds!
Division one is possibly the most contested division in the league and is blessed with many talented managers all with one thing on their agenda, getting to the top tier as quickly as possible. It does not take a genius to realise now is your best chance, and possibly for some teams your only clear cut chance for the immediate future... there is little chance it will ever get any easier than this as very strong teams from division two will be arriving next season (including possibly the strongest team in the league). Which ever teams drop from above are not going to be any push overs, whilst Strollers surely will avoid the drop and will once again become a force to be reckoned with. So before you give it the old im happy to survive blah blah blah... consider next seasons grouping and the fact you might not.
So with that said it's time to take a closer look at the teams and their respective managers, there are many different styles both in manager and squad selection and we will delve deeper into results and see who are the real contenders and whose season may just be about to take a turn for the worst, who is doing an outstanding job and who needs to pull their finger out. These are only the opinions of myself and feel free to take offense to them :p, but we will try to keep it as unbiased and honest as possible... yea right!
African Imitators
Manager: Gravitons
Nine games into the season, they have only won one and drawn one, the win coming way of Amateurs their fellow strugglers, little suprise there but the away draw is of much more interest against current league leaders Greatness. Although a fantastic result for Imitators it looks to have done little to change their fate this season and will mean more to those other teams that look to dislodge Greatness from both top spot and promotion places. As for the squad itself, Gravitons had his work cut out from the day he arrived, the previous manager (ahem) used up all his options and a total rebuild was required. Gravitons will have an almighty job of picking up the players after they are surely relegated and if something doesn't change soon they may find themselves struggling to survive in division two, if any team in division one needed an inbox lottery win, it is Imitators. Tactically the manager sticks by his 442, they might be best trying someting different and more defensive to grab some vital points before Kensington are out of reach. They face Bristol and Gooners in there next four games both these teams have everything to play for and Imitators fate may most likely be set in stone after these fixtures.
Our Verdict: Relegation favourites
West Brom Strollers
Managerless
A story of riches to rags, two seasons ago Strollers took everything in their stride to become RMI champions and it would seem at that point they felt they had nothing more to do! This squad of players deserved better for along time! They are one of the stronger side in RMI with a good pedigree, but have been unloved far to long! DinkyDave you should feel ashamed! They are at a point where a turn around in both form and fortunes is possible, but that window of opportunity is very small. The next manager who decides to take this challenge, will have alot to do! They have no money as the sponsor cheques have not been collected and form is now boderline. The former manager has left a well balanced squad and whoever takes this on should acheive future success! The likes of Regis, Gera and Pennington are fine players and im sure many a manager are casting their eyes over this team in the hope of striking up a deal with the new manager who will surely need funds. Eleven points off the pace though means we dont feel its going to happen this season for the new boss, given the fact they have taken points from some of the big guns without a manager... means they surely jus need some variation in their play. The club will surely be looking for the right kind of manager with credentials and a good history but time is of the essence!
Our Verdict: Mid table Finish
Yorkshires Amateurs
Manager: Danlufc13
This is a club that has seen good times and were surely hoping to return to the top flight, instead they find themselves in a real crisis situation... having only won two games and drawn one in the early stages of the season. This is an almost team for many reasons but I am specifically refering to the player squad today. The defence looks strong as does the attack but the real area where games are won and lost is in the middle of the park and the Amateurs are severly lacking here. It would seem the manager is more than aware of this and had given up any hopes from the start. Playing 541 in each game shows this manager is playing a long game and banking on grabbing just enough points to survive. If they have some kind of financial plan in place and can pick up a couple of quality midfielders for next season then things could change dramatically for this club. Entering the mid point of the season they face Gooners and Strollers over their next four games, Gooners will surely be gunning for top spot and they will struggle against Strollers strength whether or not a manager has been appointed by then. They are only three points off Kensingtons early pace though and only time will tell if their strategy of stealing points will pay off.
Our Verdict: Relegation favourites
Kensington Boy Club
Manager: Patrikpatrik
Here things become a little more interesting, Kensington are struggling this season and will not be happy to see a change of guard over at Strollers as currently they are next in line for the drop! Kensington fans will be puzzled by their lack of success with what looks to be a fantastic squad, but if we delve a little deeper we can see some possible reasons. The line up is border line on average age and there is a lack of depth in defence and no cover for injuries in midfield. That said what you are left with is a squad that has a great future ahead of it, although with double header against promotion hopefuls Carthage and Charming Men and a long term injury to their main defender James Wilde... the timing of the injury could seal their fate. It will take some real cunning an dolops of luck to grab anything from their next six games and we feel Bristol has a slightly more balanced squad which will grab vital points from some where. Tactically they have no space to manouvre and look to do well in division two next season. Its not the last we will here from Kensington though and their future looks secure.
Our Verdict: Relegation favourites
Bristol City
Manager: Pbstev
Lets start with the manager here... this is a guy I cant help but like, he is competetive and trains his teams proffessionally and I see a great manager in the making. Possibly he has the finer points tactically to discover still but none the less he sets his teams up very well, arriving in division one as a dark horse admittedly he had me worried and much research was done.
What he brings to bristol is assurance the players will develop consistently and more importantly they now have character! In his player choices I also see a little bit of me in there and he is a manager that likes to nuture raw talents that others would dissmiss (although they may just be a little too raw for this division). Bristol's start to the season was not a bad one, winning two and drawing four but they are also lacking in the middle of the park and we cant help but feel had they one more decent midfielder they might be fighting a whole different battle. Their next four games are with Imitators and AJ Rovers and it is now or never this season for Pbstev... he will need to win all four in our opinon to get back in the running... stranger things have happened and should they fail we still feel they will survive the drop comfortably.
Our Verdict: Just short of mid table
AJ Rovers
Rothion
Hate to sound like a broken record here but another team lacking the dominance in the middle of the park, and things dont look much brighter next season! You have to say the manager has done a sterling job to grab eleven points and place them mid table at the mid season point, but ahead of two back to back ties with Carthage and Bristol, it is looking tough to maintain that position as we enter the second half of a season thats only going to get tougher. The double header with Bristol is massive for both sets of players and the teams look well matched. The manager will need all his tactical know how to get through the second half of the season to finish in a respectable poition and will be hoping his midfield trio steer clear of injuries.
Our Verdict: Will just beat the drop
Charming Men
Manager: RDCM
Last seasons division two winners, havent quite found the pace yet and had a slow start to the season... here is a good example of everything going wrong that can... it happens! RDCM has dealt with these issues behind the scenes well though and making head way up the table. Looking through their fixtures you cant help but feel luck has not totally evaded them as they are yet to beat any of the top five sides yet still find themselves in contention. The loss at home to Carthage will sit very uncomfortably with RDCM and but for that he would find himself under alot less pressure. Tactically this season it would appear he lacks some faith in his squads abilities and rather than taking the game to the opposition he has opted for the more subtle approach. RDCM is a manager with a lot variety in his locker and is in a position where the next four games are do or die. Looking at certain parts of the squad an the issues made public concerning club funds this may be his best opportunity to gain promotion.. with all that in mind they are very dangerous opponents right now and could be the team to knock Greatness off their stride. You can never totally dismiss RDCM but we feel they currently are looking in better shape than they are, lets hope RDCM proves us wrong and finds some vital points in the Greatness fixtures.
Our Verdict: Just outside top three
Carthage FC
Manager: Blakey0500
If im totally honest Blakey0500 has built a fine squad that has sneaked under my radar and hats off to him for that, the first thing that jumps out at you is the average age and but for this the table may look very different right now. Obviously he is thinking longer term and in a season or two he will have developed quite a frightening selection of players. Ad Herbal and Dido will make the spine of the team as good as any and the defence will stand him in good stead for many years to come. Looking at this season fixtures so far it has been hit and miss and that is mainly due to the inexperience of the squad... even with the perfect tactical setup there will always be that random factor with such a young squad. Their last five games have seen them go on a run ending in a 5 - 0 victory over Imitators, looking towards the double headers they face AJ Rovers and Kensington and could find themselves sitting comfotably on the other side with all their hardest games being played at home in the second half. When you look at it from this perspective they are real contenders for the title... yes theres always a but... Blakey0500 will hoping that the average age factor is now under control and doesnt rear it's ugly head up when least wanted.
Our Verdict: Possibly top three
Gooners
Manager: FMRealism
How do I do it? No chance im telling you lot! Every season we find ourselves in the mix and each season we seem to start stronger than the last... this season has been no different and similar to Carthage we find ourselves looking at the double headers feeling confident of taking maximum points and with many important points gained away from home, the majority of our harder fixtures will be played at Highbury. As always the Gooners fans cant help but feel, what if no injuries... the double headers are against Imitators and Amateurs and I will be spitting feathers if were to drop many points if any against both sides. Tactically bar the Carthage game we have been pretty much spot on and to take so many MOTR awards in this division in particular is fantastic. Form is the key and we must put a run together.
Our Verdict: Fingers crossed top three
Bully Boys FC
Manager: Cathalio11
Another team with high expectations that had a hit and miss start to the season but has recovered well, but I feel are in a simalar if slightly better position than Charming. They look well placed but Cath will know the pressure he is under heading into the double header phase... four games against in form Greatness and White Hawks without much room for mistakes is not something any manager will want to face and should either Charming or Bullies lose any more ground during these double headers it will be hard to recover. That said I fancy them against the Hawks but whether they have the variety in their game to grab enough points from Greatness remains to be seen. For me the squad is not half as terrifying as it was when Bong was in that midfield, Bong was a sale I never understood as Cath relies heavily on 352 and prefers to dominate the midfield and as i mentioned it is no longer such a frightening prospect to face. The defence looks weaker than i remember also and the injury to Olle Hultqvist could not have come at a worst moment, this certainly can be a cruel game at the best of times. Cath knows what he is doing though and cannot be dismissed although again, given the injury and start to the season it might be a big ask to remain in the top three (even if he does there are some large hurdles in the form of away games to come), although as with RDCM he is a probably at his most dangerous right now. Daz will need to be on top of his game!
Our Verdict: Third depending on Carthages random factor
White Hawk FC
Manager: Hooraymee
Well whats going on here then.. everything about this team defies logic yet somehow they manage to keep pace in early part of season! I can confirm via match reports that the rather odd looking selection of players is not wining due too tactical genius! The only sensible answer I can come up with is his keeper Tarik Dankoi who has saved 73% of shots fired at him and played 12s on many occasion! I have a feeling Cath will beat him comfortably and Strollers may prove to be too much with or without manager, and those maybe the last points they obtain from the other promotion hopefuls. Although stranger things have happened.. Wortley beat Legends, Gooners and Morley to a claim a title! Normally I would say drastic changes are needed but it works for them so... go figure. In our opinion will lose their way just after the mid season point and will need a lot of money to rebuild an aging midfield.
Our Verdict: Mid Table
F.C. Greatness
Manager: Darrencalvert
Finally we reach current league leaders and strongest squad on paper Greatness, looking through the fixtures they probably should be in a more secure position beating both Carthage and Gooners yet losing points to Imatators and Bristol will not have pleased the boss. Every other team will take heart from the fact that it can be done and Daz has maybe the hardest four games of any season! RDCM and Cath are two of the leagues highest ranked managers and neither can afford to drop points if they wish to remain promotion contenders.. so back to back fixtures with both could not of come at a worse time. Greatness do have Faust Baronchelli on fire right now and he will need to remain in the same form and fit if Greatness are to come out on the otherside intact. After that they will face both Strollers and Carthage away whilst a hopefully fit in form Gooners will be out for revenge! I for one will watch with great interest as Daz,RDCM and Cath give everything in the next four games and like many others will be hoping to see Greatness slip up! For me those four fixtures may be the most interesting of the season. As for my opinions on the Greatness squad it is very strong and Daz obviously takes great interest in his players. The only worry he will have is replacing the aging defence if and when they decide to retire. Looking to the future Greatness will surely find themselves promoted and are in good hands under Daz's reign.
Our Verdict: Should take the title... should!?
Typical
Carlos Vela was delayed at work and had to run to catch the train. When he saw the train was already at the platform he ran down the escalator but accidentally slid on a banana skin and bounced down the escalator on his back. When he tried to get up he noticed his foot had taken a real batttering. Carlos Vela will be out of action for 4 days.
monoxide going nowhere
Three draws on the trot is not great form, but it means Splott are unbeaten in five matches and these are the sort of games we would have lost earlier in the season. Nélson Queimado saved a point with an 89th min header and he has settled into the team very quickly. In other news manager carbonmonoxide distanced himself from the vacant Vikings position. In a press statement he said:
"I admit I was tempted by all the talent on offer there, and in many ways I have already completed my original target of getting Splott from Div 2 to the RMI division. But I have bonded with these players and couldn't turn my back on them now. We are looking to the future and my task now is to keep us in this division and build a squad capable of taking the title. I won't be easy but that is my driving ambition. Splott is in my blood now."

Gooners Bite Back
Round nine of RMI saw Gooners take on City, after taking so many poundings from rival teams this season FMR demanded his normally footballing side get tough. This they did and won what might turn out to be the most important win of the season according to the manager! It means they have more than survived the toughest period in the first half of the season, and will now look to regain the top spot whilst Greatness scrap it out with the other contenders.
Gooners scored all three goals in the City game, the final score was 2 - 1 and Sol Campbell the unfortunate party to score the only goal for the away team. With Busquets still unable to find the net... although coming close and putting in a decent performance. Decisions didnt go the way of City, our guess is that Gooners lack of reputation for foul play served them well, with the ref giving them the benefit of the doubt. City were furious mind as their future starlet Rankine was stretchered off and is not expected to return any time soon.
With two of the biggest clubs recently losing their managers, rumour has it that both clubs have been on the phone constantly to FMR's agent, afterall he is the hottest property currently in RMI. Having taken Gooners from the brink of extinction to back to back promotions since his first season incharge. Having an 18 game unbeaten run along the way and more recently distancing himself for his fellow managers in the ratings.
Heres what the once modest coach had to say, on this weeks events...
"Firstly, my thought are with Rankine that looked a horrendous injury, and we would like to help cover the cost of his recovery... I hope that City manager Pbstev will accept my generous offer to take Lipscombe off his hands to help cover the cost... under the circumstances it is the least we can do.
Secondly, thank god i did not get another manager of the round award today... the west wing of Modeste manor is still being extended to make space for my enlarged trophy room. As for todays game I think it could have possibly been the most important game of our season. Form has not dipped below managable levels and as we come through our tough period of games we are still in touching distance of those that must now fight it out over the coming weeks. We feel confident that we can regain both our form and pressure the others into mistakes.
As for any rumours connecting me with other so called big clubs, I have no interest in any offers they have made to my agent. I have extremly long term plans at Gooners and the only deal I am interested in is the one that has kept players like Lang, Bergkamp and Henry at the club... My promise that they would play top division football before they retire! We also in my opinion have and are looking at what I think will be the best players in the league! Currently we are struggling through making the most of what we have, In a season or two's time we will be at full strength and for a club thats struggling we havent done to badly. The fans can rest assured neither myself, or any of the players key to my plans are going anywhere...
As for an update on the squad, Borja made a suprise return in the City fixture and came through it very well indeed and will return to normal duties. Dixon is well on the road to recovery but may not make the next fixture... We have promoted Vermaelen to the team and he looks to be a long term addition to the squad. It is true I have listed Overmars, although we are asking for a premium and any interest from within the league will be dismissed. He will be sold and all funds from his sale will be spent on a replacement come the end of season. This will allow Wellington to gain experience he needs, and provide the funds needed to add another young talent."

Oh Kilie, Where Art Thou
Kilington Underscore Gerssteinmetsson the 31st, 7th in line to the Armitige Shanks throne, or simply kilie_gers to those who knew him best, passed peacefully from the hallowed halls of the RMI in the late hours of this morning.
An early pioneer of X11 investigative journalism Kilington forged a moderately successful career as a manager at Kilingworth Rangers, Kilie Gentlemen, Pink Bus Riders, The Red Devils F.C and Lords of the Dance.
Perhaps most famous for overcoming a childhood counting disability Kilington was a strong advocate of the 4-4-442 formation. A formation famously used only once in the storied history of football at a testimonial match for Basque legend Joseba Etxeberria as an Athletic Bilbao XI took on hundreds of local school children.
Inevitably though Gerssteinmetsson will be remembered for his series of 'investigative journalism' articles exposing the raw sores hidden beneath the flabby fleshy folds of the RMI's cheeky chubby exterior. Despite being criticised in some quarters for his 'one joke' approach Gerssteinmetsson persevered like a modern day Joan of Arc. A perseverence widely recognised by his compatriots as Gerssteinmetsson swept the boards at the end of season journalism awards by winning the best Press Release in the toilet humour section. Generous to a fault Gerssteinmetsson refused to accept the handsome 3 month VIP prize as he accepted his award and donated the prize back to be given out the next year.
Over the course of the day tributes poured in from RMI managers the web over,
"I am genuinely sad to see him go," said Ajtrader100, Special Ones MKII.
"I too am sorry to see him go," commented Talinmer, Abu Dhabi United.
"Echo what AJ said," added RobinMeeblind, Totaalvoetbal.
"lol," DomBrown, Arsenal DB.
"He's a good bloke Kilie with a really wicked sense of humour," Solongsuperman, OAP Pop Punk.
"2 MORE DAYS YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Blakey0500, Carthage FC.
As finally Kilington Underscore Gerssteinmetsson leaves the RMI as he arrived, in a tarty nurses outfit and 9 inch white stilettos, grabbing Doris the cleaner to teach her just how Kilington reaches the places other managers just cannot reach
He is survived by his identical twin sister Kelie_gers, two younger sisters, Calie_gers and Kylie_gers and his dog, Collie_gers.
Good night sweet prince.

going bonkers
That is what the manager was seen doing when he saw the ref blow the end of the game against those top side the munchers. But bonkers in the form of over-happiness. Could it possible that this team is making the manager happy? Seems so, a solid game from the team saw them hold out for a goalless draw away from home. Indeed, with better finishing, they could of stolen a win. But the draw was a great result which sees the team still unbeaten, who would have thought that, especially when we are talking about bonkers, good one minute, rubbish the next. This season seems to be a long minute.
still top
after 9 games new manager mr wylie has amazed fans by winning 9 out of 9 games to keep juventus 4points clear at the top. after a thumping 4-0 victory against Alsancak F.C juventus were buzzing. The games only get harder though with juve still to play the teams nearer the top which could be a big test
Animated World
I knew something silly would happen in this game. Something that goes against logic. In the real world we should be celebrating 3 points but, you never know what to expect when playing against cartoon characters. I thought the game was even for majority of the game until the last third when we really started to play. Things went a bit crazy after that goal was ruled offside. I think if we were playing at home that goal would have stood. It certainly was very tight.
On the whole I can accept the result. Luck goes both ways. So far we havent had any, I just hope it comes when we face the double header with Juventus. As of now our aim is to stay with them as best we can and create some space between us and the chasing pack. So result like today helps because we're taking points off them.
There is still a long way to go and I hope PSV can continue to perform, because on paper we really should we further down the paper. (Perhaps that is luck in itself) :)

3 points clear!
Arsenal moved 3 points clear at the top of the RMI after a narrow 1-0 victory over league challengers Totaalvoetbal.
The game was very tight from start to finihs with just one bit of class from RvP that decided the match. Brown knew Totaalvoetbal would be abit defensive given their gaol scoring record but Arsenal found a way through (just). Brown is sure it will be a different stroy when they face them at thier place.
Arsenal are keeping their feet well and truely on the ground, there is still a long way to go butr easrly signs are promising after a really slow start

BREAKING NEWS
Top flight club The Vikings are today looking for a new manager and today rumours have started that Joshy is one of the prime canidates to take over the RMI Champions. Joshy in the last 24 hours has issued the following statement...
" To be linked to such a giant club is flattering, The Vikings are the current RMI champions. However, my work here at Anime Allstars FC is far from complete. I still have plenty of work here to do and i have no plans on leaving the club any time soon. The young players are blooming into life. We just missed out on promotion last season and i still feel we have a chance this season despite yet another poor start. As far as the hot seat for the Vikings is concerned you can rule me out. The club have been offically informed that i have no desire to take over at The Vikings football club. "
Die hard fans of Anime Allstars have issued a statement on the supporters website which goes on to say...
" We are delighted that Joshy has vowed his loyalty to the club he is the right manager to take us forward here at Anime Allstars FC. A shot at the big time might of tempted the young manager but he turned down the tempting offer. Joshy's popularity with the supporters has been boosted even more following his statement to the media and now we look to the future and focus on the current season where promotion is still a realistic dream for the club."

Anime let off the hook
Going into this match Anime were looking to bounce back following their first home defeat of the season but it was going to be a huge task for the Allstars as they faced high flying PSV Eindhoven. The visitors took the lead in the opening minute of the match making Anime's task even greater. Not finished yet the Allstars mounted a come back and on the 27th minute made things all even. On the 57th minute Anime showed real character to make things 2-1 but after going 2-1 down the divison 2 bound team started to really test the Anime Allstars's defence and began a relentless assult. On the 76th minute PSV made things all sqaure at 2-2 and looked close to cracking the Allstar nut. Time was soon running out for PSV to finish off Anime still at 2-2 and on the 94th minuten both managers looked very animated as PSV made it 2-3 chaos broke out but it was Joshy left smiling as the goal was chalked off and ruled offside. Joshy had this to say...
" Its been far from the ideal start to the new season a few youngster are finding it tricky. Today our young keeper had a shocker of a game even our young talented 17 year old had a better game. This is just a learning curve for them all and PSV are a great side and look distined for Division 2 next season. They might feel robbed and i must admit i feel lucky to get a point out of the game but luck comes and goes. "

New admin/lots of news
Hi guys, just to let you know that unfortunately Eagles won't be returning any time soon so I have taken over as admin. This is a fantastic league and joining here has much improved my love for the game so I'll try my best to follow in the footsteps of RobinMeeblind and Eagles and on the whole just let you get on with enjoying the game. I generally work from home a good 50% of the time so most days I'll be online a few times to be around to help with anything that needs doing.
A few things to sort out first though, with Eagles gone The Vikings are now available. Last seasons champions will be available for applicants within the league first. So if you fancy a shot at the top flight or just fancy a change of team then now is the time to apply. Message me if your interested in taking over and after the game on friday 11th in the RMI is the deadline for applications. The usual criteria applies, manager skill and length of time in league will be taken into account.
Also a quick reminder, if you are doing any direct transfers that involve swaps or players plus cash just send me a quick message when you do, so I know about the whole deal before confirming anything.
On a more personal note, I'm sure not 100% of managers are pleased with me being admin due to various issues, some probably a lot less true than others but that's not really relevant anyway. I'd just ask that you judge me on my behaviour here and my actions as admin as I'll always endeavour to be fair and resolve any problems to the best of my ability.
Also any managers who share the MSE with the RMI, I'd hate for any of you to become unsettled or uncomfortable due to outside influences or any "bitching" here. I don't want any bitching or moaning about the MSE or other leagues in the RMI and I'll adopt a zero tolerance policy to it so we can all just get back to being friends and enjoying a fantastic league. We're all adults here and any silly arguing is just counter productive to the RMI. I can't control what happens outside of the RMI so if people want to focus on what's going on here or try and interfere in any way then I suggest we just either ignore them or leave them to it. We've got a great league here and with everyone's help I'm sure we can make it even better by just moving on and trying to participate in the scribble and forum when you guys have the time.
Everyone is welcome in the RMI whether you are from the MSE, CPU or Mars as long as you can leave any outside problems at the door.
Sorry for the long press release but there is lots to sort, if you have any questions, queries or are unhappy about anything then please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll do my best to help.
Thanks,
Paddy

Strollers inconsistency annoys manager
OAP Pop Punk dealt Kirkbride Strollers title hopes a blow with a 3-1 win. The Strollers were again left pointless on their travels as goals from Cedric Roussel, Bosse Bong and Luca Tonizu gave the home side a comfortable win. Mark Blacklocks goal was a mere consolation for the Strollers.
Manager jazza1958 was in a foul mood when he was asked what went wrong after the match. he ranted "This display was totally unacceptable, we played as if we have nothing to aim for this season but with us only two points behind the leaders we are still in the title race. There WILL be changes for the next game against ThunderCats at The Bush. With the exception of Harrison in midfield the rest of the squad have to improve their performance by 100%. I won't accept slacker in my team and it might be time to let the youth talents show what they can do."

Totaal Take Four
Totaalvoetbal picked up four points from the last week to keep pace at the top of the RM Invitational.
A trip to Real Madrid saw Totaal emerge 1-0 winners thanks to a Johan Juffing header. In a tight game his goal in the 24th minute was enough to deliver three fine road points for the Dutch side.
Totaal couldn’t quite follow this up at home to Santos, though, as the Brazilians earned a point with a late equaliser. Antonello Ballarin had put the hosts in front with a fine free-kick but Benicio Correa punished some lax marking at the back to head home for Santos and win a point.
Robin Meeblind was said to be “contented” with how things were going but commented that there was still plenty of “scope for improvement.”

Rovers offer trial for zernov
The youth player, Zernov finally is being given the trial at Rovers as a defender. if he manage to get along with the tactical and training, then he will be a part of Rovers family. The season is still early since only 8 matches has been played so far, therefore Zernov will have plenty of time to show his talent to the coaching staff.
Survival Of The Fittest
Tough times at Gooners have seen them slip from the top spot, it would seem that teams in division one are willing to use any means necassary to win. The Gooners manager stated he had never seen so much heavy handed tactics in a season and we are only just under way.
Three long term injuries in five games has shown the weaknesses of the Gooners squad but the young guns managed to grab an all important point away against Hawks. FMR is still confident as apart from the home game against Carthage important points have been gained in many games. Many of those being away... looking at the next group of fixtures and the afore mentioned points, aswell as the players coming back from injury and in training... things could change dramatically again for them.
A win against Bristol is vital and if secured they could yet gain a cushion at the top, and the manager will be happy if his team can keep picking up points from games they shouldnt come end of season. There are few new faces that have done well and one that has failed to make his mark as of yet. Busquets has been assured by the manager that he is still central to his plans and to keep giving 100%.
FMR was quoted as saying..
"Things look worse than they are currently, we have nicked important poiunts in most games... lets see what happens when everyone is fit and I feel confident we will be in a good position again after the next four games. We have survived this tough period well, no one had us down a title challengers and we love nothing more than to prove people wrong. We have players that havent even hit 50% of what they can do yet, as always we will continue to focus on our own season.
Our defence has been outstanding and in great form, the injury to Dixon was disappointing but the others have coped well, we also have a young lad we are about to promote so there is more cover. Keown is also now back to his old self. Fabregas is continuing same as last season and his injury barely made him flinch.. and i did nt know better id say the Wellington an Fabregas were related! Form and ability wise they are very simular. Sometimes you see a player and you just know!
Wiltord is now key to our season and he was well worth waiting for and nay combination of attackers is going to be a handful for any defence, I feel blessed with strikers although another youth wouldnt go a miss. The only player we are considering putting on the market is Overmars but we would need six mill to replace him so this may have to wait until later in the season, so he has his chance to make his mark in the mean time."

A Tale of Two Teams
It was the best of results, it was the worst of results, it was the time of great DV, it was the time of poor DV, it was the epoch of Utopia, it was the epoch of Hell, it was a season of Hope, it was a season of Despair, it was a breath of metamorposis, it was a breath of stagnation, we have everything before us, we have nothing before us, we were all going to division 1, we were all going to division 3...
Finally a win!
After five successive defeats The Ones grab three points.
The side still look certain to be relegated, but the result from the last match gives the chairman some confiedence that there is a brigh future with his club under ajtraders guidance.
Sources have revealed the board was looking to poach Kilie_gers from Pink Bus Riders FC, but have put these plans on hold to see how the next three matches pan out.
With pressure on the manager to survive in Division 2 the chairman is running out of time if he does want to sack ajtrader100.

Important Win
This is what Kadri has described the victory against Alsancak F.C.
"It was real important we won that game, They are one of the stronger teams in the league, and certainly better than us. Aside from that I see them as one of the teams we are challenging this year. With a double header against Juventus just round the corner and an away game to Alsancak (we don't expect to pick up any points in those games) so for that reason it was vital we got 3 points so we're in healthy position to perhaps challenge for promotion towards the last quarter of the season.
TRANSFER NEWS.
We just promoted a player from the youth team today. A talented player he is, but I don't like changing the team at the stage of the season, so he'll be put on the market.

Kilie linked to Special Ones hot seat
Following remarks made today by the Special Ones gaffer Ajtrader, the Pink Bus manager hastily organised a press conference so he could air his views on rumours that the Ones chairman was preparing to poach him from the Riders.
"I would rather defecate in my own bed after a partcularly dodgy curry and then make love to a hairy man in the vicinity of the excrement than manage that sorry shower of shite" he roared
"I have nothing else to say to you mugs, get the hell off my land" he boomed.

still at the top
With another win this week for juventus against the pink bus riders it sees them sitting top 2points clear. However Juventus know it is going to get harder with the stronger teams still to play.
Arsenal Go Top
Arsenal collected a comfortable 4-0 win over Smurftastic Smurfs this afternoon to move them up to 1st. All be it by goal difference. Arsenal seem to have recovered from their slow start to the season where they had some defensive issues. Arsenal will have to overcome Totaalvoetbal next if they wish to keep their top place.
A win is a must and Brown feels their goal difference might make a few teams rethink their normal tactics in order to try and stop their free scoring form.

Out of Darkness Cometh Light
After a difficult week These Charming Men will be happy to walk away with 6 points, RDCM was not happy on Monday morning to find the following note was pushed under his office door;
"The local area close to These Charming Men has been hit by a sudden rise in unemployment, due to the relocation of several large manufacturing plants. As gate receipts fall, the club have been forced to lower ticket prices in order to maintain reasonable crowds. This has resulted in a dramatic reduction in the club's financial reserves, and 1 281 500 econ has had to be moved from the transfer fund in order to prevent more serious cashflow problems.,,,,,,,Love The Chairman"
This put the club 1.25 million econ in debt and forced the sale of midfield starlet Ramon Vicente for 3.5 million econ, which puts TCM back in the black and hopefully on a stable footing for the rest of the season.
Despite having no money for a win bonus and his side being out of form a superb defensive performance against Bristol City saw TCM win 1-0 and halt their 3 match losing streak.
RDCM was glad he was stuck in traffic this evening and only got chance to check todays result on teletext, despite being 1-0 down until the final minutes 2 goals in injury time ensured his side got the win.

weymouth and larsson show
A hattrick by both Weymouth and Larsson lead a wonderful win over those so called legends 3-2. Weymouth supplied the ball, and Larsson put them away, in all three occassions. An amazing display. The manager is finding it so wonderful to be not pulling his hair out and heading to the asylum again this season. The team is playing very well together and the youth players are starting to come through, bonus points for the manager. Lets hope it keeps going as the season looks positive at this point. Lets keep the unbeaten ranking going for ages.
Happy
St Omer manager Cony Tottee was pleased with his sides performance during their 1 - 1 draw with FCR Cressex. Despite creating by far the majority of chances it looked like Omer were heading for defeat until they popped up with a 92nd minute equaliser.

Interview with a manager - Kilie_gers
In my next interview I've managed to catch a manager who has been called "the marmite of the RMI". He's loved and loathed in equal measure and is desperate for a chance to redeem himself and raise his side Pink Bus Riders to one day win the RMI. But before he carries on trying to turn his club around, he's taken a break and sat down with us for a few words. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages and Robinmeeblind. I present to you an exclusive interview with the most reclusive, complicated, press shy manager in the RMI, none other than Kilie_gers.
Paddy: "In some quarters you've been called the best manager in the world, would you say you agree with that statement?"
Kilie: "Only an arrogant tosser would agree with that. But to answer your question, yes I agree completely."
Paddy: "In some quarters you've been described as the worst manager in the world, what do you say to that?"
Kilie: "These people are just jealous. It is testament to my raw ability as a manager that my side are performing reasonably well whilst I totally neglect the notion of form-training and DV."
Paddy: "Lets get a little more serious now, what is it that brought you to xpert11? and what is it that still keeps you playing?"
Kilie: "Someone advertised it on the BBC 606 pages, I replied to the thread (before I got banned for posting, believe it or not, non-football related posts). I come back because I like the craic on here...plus I do love a bit of scandal every now and again."
Paddy: "You're coming up to three months now at Pink Bus Riders, would you say much has changed at the club since you took over?"
Kilie: "It would appear that we are much more competitive in the league we are in. We have only lost one league match (I think) since I took over. The squad hasn't changed a great deal, they are just responding to my marvellous coaching ability."
Paddy: "Have you set yourself any targets this season? or anything you're at least hoping to achieve?"
Kilie: "I would like to get promoted. It won't be as champions but third will do me. I also hope that the intense bullying I have been victim of will stop at some point during this season."
Paddy: "What are your long term aims with your side?"
Kilie: "To climb to the summit of the RMI while totally ignoring DV and tossing aside youth talent."
Paddy: "Who would you say is your most important player?"
Kilie: "Seth Eaves. He has a lot of those SQ's. That's good isn't it? I love SQ's, me!"
Paddy: "You've been quite outspoken since joining the RMI, would you say that is part of your managerial make up?"
Kilie: "I like to have a bit of a laugh. I love a good wind-up...and I would love it if someone decides to take the piss out of me one day. Apparently I have made some enemies because of my style...but no-one has ever told me personally how they feel."
Paddy: "what would you say to the people that say you go too far?"
Kilie: "Stop taking me so seriously and if I have gone too far? Then tell me for Christ's sake!"
Paddy: "If you could realistically sign any player from another team in the RMI, who would that be?"
Kilie: "I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I don't really know any of the other players in other teams. But I saw some folk talking about some players called Busquer or summat like that? Can't remember who he played for. He sounded good though, I'll have him."
Paddy: "How about a dream transfer, any player from another RMI club?"
Kilie: "I respectfully refer the right honourable gentleman to the reply I gave some moments ago."
Paddy: "What is your favourite SQ?"
Kilie: "Hard trainer. That little cone is so adorable, I love it!"
Paddy: "Which player would you say is your brightest hope for the future?"
Kilie: "Lois Farrington. He is young and 5 skilled, that's alright isn't it? He has scored a couple of goals too. But if he turns out to be shit? Well, not to worry, he is a wonderfully gifted pole-dancer and should be able to make a good living out of that, he has a bright future."
Paddy: "And finally Kilie, is there anything you would like to add?"
Kilie: "Notice how I managed not to mention gays or willies throughout this whole interview? I am very proud of myself."
Thanks to Kilie_gers for taking the time to answer my questions. Up next will be Ithaqua

1-1
Lots of chances but only 2 goals in a exciting game against the Pop Punks, it could have gone either way and although you always want to win your home games I think boths sides will be happy with a point. For us it keeps the unbeaten run going and now we face Thundercats, a top side who did business with pre-season - no doubt some ex-players will have a point to prove to their former teams
5 chances, 5 goals
It is outstanding performance and Pahang now put themself higher n better place at the moment. 5 goals was very sweet and hope it wont last.
A force for good
Journalists packed themselves into the Rider press room this evening eager to ask the gaffer about his team and how he felt the side were performing so far.
"Loose Women" preseneter Jane McDonald stood up and asked "How do you feel about DV, do you think it is a useful thing and how are your players adapting to it?"
The boss drew breath then exclaimed "What the fuck are you on about woman? DV? What is that?. If you are going to ask me stupid questions then you can leave the room forthwith. You silly looking bint"
"Right, on to important matters. I have decided that this league has seen to many arguments and too much scandal of late and I, for one, am sick of it"
"From now on, I shall be holding the position of "RMI minister for friendship and inter-league harmony" gushed the manager.
"I am now going to crack down on arguments, fighting and cross divisional rivalry"
The boss then handed out to each journalist, a piece of paper entitled...
"Kilie's rules and regulations"
1. Arguments in the scribble are strictly outlawed. Anyone found arguing within the scribble shall find themselves sat on the naughty step.
2. Anyone found releasing a PR that may be deemed offensive or derogatory towards a fellow manager shall be brutally flogged in the village square.
3. Managers found partaking in any kind of cross-divisional rivalry or provoking managers from other leagues shall be taken to the nearest kitchen and forced to iron their own balls. I am here to promote good relations with other leagues and have the best interests of all League Admins at heart (Coo-eee Postman, love you lots babycakes...mwahh x)
4. Gay jokes are now a thing of the past. Therefore all mentioning of gays, bummers, benders, bum-lords, cock-smokers, fudge-nudgers and queens are strictly prohibited.
"There we have it, the new rules and regulations that all managers shall abide by. These rules shall make life easier and more productive for us all" he mused.

Arsenal Hammer Santos FC
Arsenal put in another top draw performance as they beat Santos FC 5-1 at home. Brown was surprised that a team so strong could not give them more issues but they will gladly take 3 points.
There were some other shock results, Brown is left wondering where mr eagles is? top of the league, then doesn't log in for a couple of weeks and is now 2nd from bottom?

We won't underestimate Splott
We caught up with Paddy Mckeever as his side arrived at the Star Centre Arena and he was kind enough to give us a few words about his sides imminent game against Splott Rovers:
"From experience with my past club I know just how good Splott Rovers can be, I also rate Carbonmonoxide as one of the best managers in the business so I know for sure today's game won't be easy, I'm hoping our friendship will lead him to instruct his players to take it easy on us but in reality I think there is as much chance of them taking it easy as there is of me winning britains got talent by farting the tune to the great escape! It's going to be a good competive game and whatever the result I'll be in Carbon's office to share a packet of jaffa cakes and a can of coke"
It's clear OAP Pop Punk aren't underestimating Splott Rovers, we look forward to seeing how the game turns out.

Bristol City Charmed into Submission
Bristol city were today beaten by These Charming men in a match which left manager Stevenson fuming. 'I gave my players strict instructions to go out there and whoop the asses off those pansy's and look what happens. No injuries and my best player Osório São sent off for daring to tackle their midfielder Gerard Caffery. I would not mind but it is common knowledge that he is has been spotted sharing intimate moments with todays referee Al Beback. I can only hope this defeat does not affect the team to much for the next round match against Carthage FC who are the divisions form team'.
Unlucky For 3
PSV maintained their unbeaten record this season with a 1-1 draw at Pink Boys.
"I felt we were unlucky not to pcik up all 3 points. They played well granted. We had enough chances to pick it up but luck wasn't on our side. I have warned our fans not to get upset about not winning some games."
So far the PSV manager has recorded 6 manager of the week out of 7 rounds which is a testament to the job we're doing here.
I'll keep rotating the team as usual though. Everyone must play!

On Fire
Arsenal came back with a bang as they saw off Real Madrid FC with a solid display. Arsenal welcomed back their star defender and the difference was clear for all to see.
The win bagged Brown MotR and helped gain abit of form before heading in to the next round where they face a strong Santos FC side. Brown knows this is not a game to take lightly and hopes they can take something from the game

A Challenge at Either End of the Table
A solid week saw Totaalvoetbal pick up four points and move to the top of an extremely tight RM Invitational top division.
Totaal faced a tough trip to ThunderCats to start the week and things became tougher still when Tommaso Miceli headed the home side into a lead before the break. However, Totaal would improve as the game went on and William Ralph Dean showed a clinical streak to level late in the game. The Dutch side would hold onto their point despite seeing Raymond Putnam sent off with just minutes remaining.
Totaal followed this up with a strong 3-0 home victory over old friends AFC Stanley. The home side never looked in trouble from the moment Antonello Ballarin slotted home a penalty on 15 minutes. An injury to Ramiro Verona briefly threatened to slow them down but a further goal from Ballarin and a first for the club from Zwonko Fuckala sealed the win.
However, with just six points separating top from bottom it remains to be seen whether Totaal are title contenders or relegation fodder.

Spendthrift is no philosophy of mine
Manager refuses to part with his cash.
Despiet yet another loss in Division 2, and the threat of relegation running high, The Special Ones manager has decided not to bring any players, and remains focused on developing the squad he has.
After selling a couple of prize players before the season started many fans had expected the gaffa to bring in at least one big-name replacement, however it was not the case.
Since only just surviving last season the gaffa has decided to train up the youth players he has, as well as promoting and buying more youngsters. The average age is destroying his teams chances before they even kick a ball.

On The Road To Hell
This was not a good day for Anime Allstars FC to take the bus. The Allstars lost their first game of the season in the Gents WC stadium as they lost 2-0 on the day to the Pink Bus Riders FC. Going into the match Anime Allstars were looking to make some ground up on the league leaders however the female Allstars failed to make any ground but instead made the gap bigger not smaller. Anime are now 9 points off the pace and it's still early days, to make matters worse 2 players were subbed off. Diva Misaki Kurehaa wasn't even unable to limp off and looks set to miss a couple of weeks and the other victim was Naru Narusegawa who was able to limp off. After the poor show Joshy put on a brave face as he was grilled by the local media...
" To loose like this is gutting. We were poor today and were beaten far to easy. Misaki Kurehaa will be out till the 3rd of June and Naru Narusegawa should be ok in time for the next match she only took a slight knock which is good news i guess. We have to dust ourselves down and start again now and up next is Alsancak F.C who are having a good start to the new season. In our last 2 previous meetings we remain unbeaten against Alsancak F.C and we will give them a stern test in The Hayao Miyazaki Stadium. "

Bristol City beat the Bullies
Bristol City have maintained their fine start to the season with a win at home against Bully Boys FC. In a game that was a one sided affair with the Bully Boys have 6 chances at goal conpared to the City's 2, manager Stevenson was pleased with the way that his team played and soaked up the early pressure until wonder signing Kelvin Farmer score just before half time.
'I am very pleased with the new boy Farmer. He can tell the difference between a barn door and a goal for sure. He was just a bit unlucky to get a late injury but it was not a surprise because those Bully Boys were being rough all over the pitch.'
It was rumoured after the match that opposition manager Cathalio11 was linched by his owner players for being a tight ass with the match bonuses. It was understood that the manager decided to spend the money on his life long search for a four leaf clover. He was last seen running from the Ashton Gate pitch shouting 'no you can't stick that Blarney stone in there'.

Defeat Stinks
FC UK's Crimea River's ragtag collection of street urchins, waifs, recovering addicts and teen prostitutes further cemented their place at the foot of division 2d this week with a couple more stirring defeats.
On the bright side DV looks reasonable for this mid early point in the season and surely the end of season cannot roll around soon enough for the beleaguered club.

Over Achieving
After recording a straight run of 6 victories. Kadri is warning PSV fans not too get carried away.
"We have started the season in terrific form, but by no means are we one of the strongest teams in the league. The fans must realise this and not get too concerned should there a switch in our form"
The team is looking really good and hopefully we can start getting promoted and challenging in the higher division because we have the potential to do so.

It don't add up
After 5 gamesand 2 manager of the round awards Splott Rovers sit bottom of the table having only just picked up their first win. This game doesn't make sense. All I can do is keep picking the right formations and tactics and hope it's enough, the quality is there but the results aren't. What's going on?
FMR Content
Gooner lost out to Greatness today at home, you would have thought manager FMR would be scathing at this loss but it is not so. The Gooners manager is more than happy with the way things have panned out and although the game was lost today, valueable DV was picked up. Every p[layer has already played a game for Gooners and they are top of the table after five games.. its not to be sniffed at.
Last season things fell apart with the mid season purchase of Anelka, which caused form to drop too far and it bacame unrecoverable. No such risks will be taken this season and when players need to play they will play! Although after buying Anelka he got injured and his career as a Gooner was wrecked the player was sold on for 1.4 mill profit, every cloud has a silver lining!
The target for Gooners is top three finish, title would be nice and they are pushing for it obviously but, player development comes first as always! Any cushion made will be used to play any players struggling with development. Todays game saw Overmars and Wiltord start and the manager will feature his young stars more than ever this season. Akinfeev although not ready for this level yet has been promised many starts, along with Wellington Silva who impressed massivly on his debut. The manager has already spoken of his desire to build around Fabregas, Silva and Busquets and early signs look exciting for Gooners fans.
Next up is Carthage and Gooners should have everyone available again, including their young Talisman Fabregas.. who could not be risked last game as he looks certain to make the jump to a 8 skill barring any long injuries. Training is well underway and form should have recovered nicely for this fixture... and FMR will be looking to increase the players form and confidence with an away win!

Long way to go
The 1st five games are over and the mangers happy with the way things stand. At the start of the season the goal was to go up as last season we just lost out on going up.But with the start the team have had we are now looking at top spot as a must and will be throwing every think at it

Benfari Misses Gooners!
Martinus Benfari was tidying up his bedroom today, and picked up his girlfriend's curling iron without realising it was still on. Martinus Benfari now has some nasty burns on his hand, and will be unavailable for a few days while they heal.
"Rubbish"
"Rubbish" was RDCM's eloquent response to his sides back to back losses against last seasons fellow promoted teams Bully Boys and Gooners.
His side has it all to play for as they attempt to rebuild their season, influential front man Delgado has now recovered from injury however Streicher is still out for another 3 games.

Getting to know you...part 2
In the second installment of this fly on the wall series of interviews, the Pink Bus gaffer would like the good managers of the RMI to delve further into the rich tapestry of life that make up the Riders staff.
"We here at the Pink Bus have acted swiftly to show that we are all interested in football and I am eager for this to continue. We all love some hot DV action or some hardcore SQ conversation and we are keen to join the mainstream scribble instead of lurking on the outside like some kind of disease ridden tramp"
"This week I would like you all to meet one of the most important members of the Riders staff. Ladies and gentlemen, I introdude to you...Bernard (pronounced Ber-naaard) the white line machine!" he boomed.
"I am sure you have all noticed how immaculate and straight the pitch markings are here at this club. Well, that is all down to Bernard. He is a hard trainer so he is always working on his ability to draw perfectly straight white lines that other clubs are truely envious of. He is also as cool as ice, so when he is marking out that penalty spot...he doesn't let the pressure get to him. We always end up with a perfectly spherical penalty spot" he boasted
"Bernard is such a character, this one time he marked out the penalty area smaller than what he should have, it was one square yard too small, we all howled with laughter at this practical joke. He really is the heart and soul of the club" the gaffer gushed.
The manager then gave Bernard a gentle kiss on the handle and ushered him back to his cupboard.
"Right, onto further footballing matters. T'would appear we have a match this week, I am not really sure what to say about this Joshy gentleman, other than he was a lucky son of a bitch to win this seasons cup. I was viciously pushed out of the cup in the pre-lim round by the powers that be in the RMI due to my constant non-footballing conversations in the scribble. I hope that I will now be widely accepted by the admin team now that I have started to talk about football" he moaned.
The manager then left the press room and headed for local strip club "The Hard Rod" where he was expected to dance the night away with some of the performers.

Against all odds!
AJ Rovers managed to go against the odds when their team registered a narrow win against WhiteHawk last night. From the Xpert Pools, almost all of the betters bet that Rovers will lost especially when playing away. But it seems to motivate the Rovers and yet, not only they got three valuable points, but now they are in the second place in the league. congrats to the team.
Payback
Yesterday we played the Legends in front of our Bavarian fans and we won with a fair scoreline of 4-1. We were the better side throughout the whole match but I am really angry with my defenders. Our opponents only had Four scoring chances and they managed to score one at the begining of the match. It's really a pity because they easily were ahead in the game. Thanks to Josh Redneck that his goal-buster, it ended our opponents to steal three point.
Our next game is against Crimson Tigers for the week six of the league. Our next opponents are six skilled team but I am not going to underistimate them.

Boo Boys left boo hoo'ing
Anime Allstars FC were looking to make up ground on the table toppers going into this match but last season when the Allstars were chasing a promotion place the Boo Boys did them no favours so they had real motivation going into this clash at The Hayao Miyazaki Stadium.
The Allstars did not have the first half their own way and just before the break Sonsaku Hakufu was subbed following a poor tackle. The black clouds in the sky got even darker for Anime Allstars FC going in at half time the score remained 0-0 and it looked like it was going to be one of those days. The second half would really unsettle the home supporters 4 minutes in and Anime Allstars FC found themselves a goal down. Joshy shaked his head at conceeding yet another goal. This however was the turning point, it was like shaking a wasps nest. Anime Allstars came to life after going a goal down and just 8 minutes later things were all even at 1-1. Anime would go on to score another 3 times and when the final whistle went it finished 4-1. It was some turn around by the Allstars Johnny Douglas even made it into the team of the week for his outstanding solo performence for the club. Anime Allstars FC are now just 4 points off the pace and one of five clubs yet to loose a match. After we got a few words out of gaffer Joshy...
" After we went 0-1 down i started to fear another bad day. The players however had other plans and almost took offence to the goal and they went on a rampage winning 4-1. Up next is Pink Bus Riders FC, a very tricky match as we face them away first. With Kilie_gers aka the mad hatter in charge you never know what to expect, anything could happen next ? "
