The double header has arrived and Pop Punk are unexpectedly flying high in the table, the next two games could decide if Pop Punk end up embroiled in a relegation battle as had been expected by everyone at the start of the season or if they end up in the unlikeliest title challenge of all time.
We caught up with a very busy Paddy Mckeever for his thoughts:
"AFC Stanley did the double over us last season and my comments about that maybe came across badly and I apologise for that, what I was trying to say then is the same as I am now, we respect AFC Stanley and we have a healthy fear of the damage they can do to our side. We think today is likely to be a game we will lose but we'll see what happens. Hopefully we can scrape something at home though but it'll be definitely tough to actually achieve."
"If we somehow managed to win one of the two games I think we can safely assume we'll have avoided relegation barring a nightmare run of defeats or something"

draws
Even though we had lost only one match untill now in Division 1, we are only on 4th place at the moment. The reason for that is that the half (5) of our matches ended with draw...
This might be the consequence of our style of playing, so our plan in countinue is to play more risky!

Quick Report
Hard times money wise have hampered Gooners hopes of playing the first team through this tough period of the season, although good work with training has kept form and DV at good levels. Gooners will hope to claw back some points over the next two fixtures and try to keep form levels high.
We have been good tactically but not always able to field the right personnel said the boss.

Totaal Grind On
Totaalvoetbal took a satisfactory four points from two tough away games over the past week to keep ahead of the pace in the RMI.
An even game at ThunderCats F.C was settled late on when Bosse Bong delivered a superb free-kick to defeat Magro. The win was marred, however, as Miquel Oriol and Bong suffered injuries which would keep them out of the next game.
Ultimately, this would cost them as they were held to a 0-0 draw at These Charming Men. Despite creating the majority of chances they would fail to make the most of them and the home side claimed a deserved point.

Reasonably Happy..
Sir Linkinparkrocks was not very pleased after his side were very wasteful in their game against Rolling Thunder.. Classic 11 had 5 good chances to score but just didnt convert..In the game to follow 3 days later the side made amends by picking up a 3-0 easy win over Crimson Tigers..Classic 11 remain in 4th spot with 20 points,4 points behind leaders Rolling Thunder..
Making progress
Blakey0500 is happy with his side's progress after the last few games. with 2 wins on the bounce the Carthage almighty are back into 2nd spot. Their main test of the season is upon them with a double header against leaders 'Legends'.
Blakey0500 expects at least 2 or 3 points from these two matches. two losses will ruin our title hopes and push us out of the promotion places. We're more and more confident at home these days and we can always snatch points away from home. we'll see how the games go, but blakey0500 said he was quietly confident.
A key suspension means Carthage will be at a huge disadvantage in the first game but Blakey is not making any excuses, the team are still more than capable of beating any team.
Promotion is the most important focus for the team right now, not the championship and with that in mind it may influence blakey's selection choices!!!
Either way, we're very excited.

Laundry day at the club
Malaysian manager Izuka had his players hold a laundry day today in an effort to raise extra funds for the club. Instead of normal training, the players opened the stadium to the public today for them to bring their dirty laundry for washing.
"This exercise teaches discipline and was an excellent way to raise some extra funds," commented the club chairman at the end of the day.
"I never realised it was soap which made clothes smell so good!" said one of the club players when interviewed by the press.

River Stagnate?
A 1-1 draw with Crimson Tigers in round 9 saw Crimea River grab only their second point of the season while a 2-1 defeat to wortley afc in round 10 ensured normal service was resumed ahead of the season double header against fellow foot of the table side Ely City FC
McQueen makes great escape
Holgate Pathetic striker Steve McQueen left the club today in a 2.5 million deal. McQueen was released due to a surplus of striking talent at the club and thr potential of young forward Jack Carter. The money will be re-invested in the team however it looks like one more experienced player may leave the club before anybody else comes in.
Not Bad
Another game, another loss, this time we didn't manage a single shot on goal laughed Brown as he did a few forward roles down the tunnel and into the dressing room.
Arsenal is looking at a decent CR at the moment, they will all be working day and night to make sure it stays good

Another game Another draw!
If there definitely was a result this evening which didn't surprise everyone it was the fact that AC Milan once again drew another game. Milan have proven themselves this season to have on of the best defences in the league but they have more importantly proven that they also have the worst attack socring only 10 goals all season which is less than a goal a game.
Looking at Milan's next fixture though they would do incredibly well to get another draw as they are heavily unlikely to get anything from the league leaders ALLORNOTHING.

What a win!
While it was against the leagues so called whipping boys, the lads from the land of needaresti scored a whopping 8 goals in the last game.
It has done wonders for the ould goal difference which is good and it has kept us on track for promotion that we so nearly secured last season only for us to fall away at the tail end, where it really mattered.
Hopefully we can avoid that and push on to Division 2!

Not Good Enough
After seeing his team hammered 7-3 by Santos ThunderCats F.C boss Baz spoke after the game
" I can promise fans there are going to be big changes at the club i'm not a happy man right now several players will be leaving 1 has been sacked already i only want players who want to play for the club if they don't perform there out the door.We have played 10 games and have had 29 goals put past us things have to change "

tough game
We are nearly at the halfway point and it looks like another relegation scrap. We've got a tough game against Markham33 's AFC Stanley who are agreat side and will be looking at us as a 3 pointer in their bid to becomechampions. I respect Markham33 a lot, he's a great manager and I wish them luck - but not too much luck today I hope
Hopeful
With nearly half of the season gone, Cony Tottee is hopeful that his side can start to improve their performances. However, Cony is not an idiot and in truth knows that is very unlikely. Hopefully he will continue to train his players and look for a decent update to challenge next season.
thats nice of them!!!!
During the last match the team's fans caused a riot. They clashed with the police and vandalized parts of the stadium. The fans' behaviour was shameful and the team is fined 462 500 econ.

Chano Castro has been contacted by people in Hollywood who have heard of his fabulous play-acting on the pitch. They are convinced he has a brilliant future as an actor and have invited the player to Universal Studios for an audition and he will therefore be away for a week.

FIRST WIN!!
Taken nearly all season but African imitators have something to smile about at last.... in a brutal game played at home they managed to win the game with only 37% of the possesion, relegation will surely not be avoided this season but we hope we can at least lose respectfully!
Mshow, looking forward to LEGENDS
New manager Mshow,.. great opening,.. inda league,. after game, Mshow stated"I hv a great group of players, which hv winning spirit,. every game is challenge, and yet, wev been victorious thus far, next we heading to stadium of dreams, wher we will be a nightmare, to them legends, I cn admit, it might be da toughest game yet, but. like i said, i hv a special group of players, who produce special results, thanx for nw" there Mshow on making it clear to crash da legends in their arena,.. its a game of favourites and underdogs,.. come thurs
Improvement Needed
PSV have had an indifferent start to the season. "Its been on and off, I have to admit I havent been taking it too seriously recently, but I now have full internet connection again. Today's result was 3 points dropped. 2 injuries and a penalty miss = not good enough. We really need to start picking points.
The Draw specialists!
That is the title AC Milan may undertaker soon if they don't start bagging more than a point after each fixture. Milan suffering from alot of poor form and injuries were forced to play a ess than ful strength side again for the upteenth time this season and once again they and to batle very hard to just earn a point.
THings are not looking good for Milan and the manager is already thinking of cutting the deadwood from the side in order to decrease the squad and focus on the few.

Freddy's all gold in Bonkers result
5-0 Home win marks a milestone for club legend.
Midfield genius Freddy Kennedy marked his 100th club appearance with a goal in todays superb victory against Bonkers. The club captain won his gold heart in front of the home fans and scored a 40 yard belter to remember the occasion by.
Despite this important day for the club steward, his performance was overshadowed by a superb display by fellow midfielder Alf Ackroyd who set up three goals and went on to score himself in a performance that not only earmarked him as man-of-the-match, but also the Xpert Eleven captain for this round of games.
The manager heaped praise on both players after the game, and insisted it was a team effort, rather than just a two man display.
"I'm delighted for Freddy, he's been club captain since I took over, some were doubtful about my choice to make him the team leader when I joined as we have several players who are more experienced. I'm glad to say I was right, with a performance like that on his one hundreth game, he's roved the critics wrong.
As for Alf I'm overjoyed for the young fella, he's a moddy little bugger at times, but being named as the expert eleven team captain for the second time this season goes to show that moody players can be an asset.
But it was the overall performance of the team I was more happy with, five goals against a team of Bonkers calibre is just outstanding. We can't forget the other players, such as Routhledge who scored a brace and the defence and keeper that didn't concede. Overall we dominated today, the fans got behind us and we went out to impress."

bonkers are back
Yes, it is officail. The manager of Bonkers is back int he lunny ben after the shocking 5-0 hammering the team just took. It was terrible, shocking and not pleasent to watch, even by the other teams fans. Bonkers have gone from maybe in the top two team to the will be relegated soon team. The manager doesnt know what to do, form is poor, money is rare, players wont sell and now the league is going bad bad worse worse death. Well done to African imitators for their first win, Bonkers hope they will one day win again. :(
BAH!!
Arsenal Reserves saw any small hope of staying up this season fly out the window when they lost 2-1 at home against F.C. Greatness. To top things off RvP picked up a nasty injury and will miss a few games.
If they had any chance of staying up they need to win their home games against the teams near them in the table but now it is almost impossible

Your Soul is Mine
Remember the 1995 movie Mortal Kombat? When Shang Tsung or his goonies defeated a fighter, he would eerily declare ‘Your soul is mine’. Manager Sean7 is definitely feeling like one of those soul sucked bodies: empty.
Journey far to the north…no, not Canada, or the Slavic countries. Further, towards the North Pole. Blistering winds and snowstorms are prevalent, but on January 4, 2010, a scream of terror could be heard throughout the region.
That was the day that Santos News leaked a highly controversial letter from Santos manager Sean7 to Santa Claus, exposing the jolly fat man for sticking his candy cane up the wrong fruitcake
(as seen here: http://rminvitational.blogspot.com/2010/01/santo-claus-coming-to-town.html).
After the exposed letter, there were reports that Mrs. Claus was seeking half the estate, the elves, and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Trials are still ongoing. Nonetheless, jolly St. Nick was not so jolly and vowed to have revenge on the football manager who ruined his life, a manager notorious for his mood swings, drug habits, and fine taste in women. No no, not Diego Maradonna. Santos manager Sean7.
From that day onward, Santa carefully crafted a plan that would rock the football world, upside down, or right side up if you wish. Santa had his elves working over time, stockpiling new toys and gadgets, until the day when he would unleash them on…
eBay.
The toys soared off the e-shelves, bidders paying the ‘buy it now price’, Santa collecting funds, never having to pay shipping because of his magic sleigh next-day delivery. Finally, he had accumulated enough funds, before a certain club won the RM Invitational in season 7.
Santa watched the television intently, as Marcelo Afonso raised the trophy in the air, the Santos team mates behind him, and in the distance, that wretched, wretched face. The stupid grin on that stupid manager. Santa laid back, on his old chair, the gears of his mind slowly turning, setting plans into motion.
On Monday, September 13, 2010, at a press conference, Santos FC announced that Santa Claus had bought a 50.1% share of the Brazilian club, effectively ending speculation as to the mysterious owner. And then, chaos.
The fat man stated his plans for the club.
‘I will want to move Santos FC from Sao Paulo to the North Pole, I feel that the players are too distracted by those big Brazilian butts those girls have there. Here it is just snow.
And silence.’
A dark look overtook Santa before he quickly re-gathered himself.
‘Also, I will be looking for a new manager. This Sean7 fella, is on a short leash. No more offensive formations! No more samba celebrations! No more willy-nillying about the pitch!’ he roared.
And then, Santa looked at the camera, knowing full well that Santos fans, players, and most importantly the manager were watching. Raising his hand in front of him, sticking his red thumb up, he slowly rotated his hand, thumb down.

tough schedule
In previous round we finaly booked a new win. That hapened after 3 draws in a row and loss. With those three points we climb back just behind the leaders!
Tomorrow we will play another hard away match with Barnsley. We are sure they will give their best but we still hope for at least one point...

For the Steaua crew is a home tie against wortley afc
When questioned what their chances are with regards this game, The Needaresti boss did everything to downplay the game and no doubt the expectations of the Steaua fans.
"Hopefully we'll win and if not then a draw, we just want to maintain the form we have shown since our 1st loss this season"

Totaal have Six-Appeal
Totaalvoetbal recovered from a rocky previous week to record two victories in their games over the last seven days.
A trip to Arsenal Reserves saw the Oranje take on Dom’s babies and eventually record a 3-0 triumph. Bosse Bong would be the star of the show as he netted twice; from a long range shot and a free-kick, before setting up Pierre van Diemen for the third goal.
Totaal would follow this up by defeating Kirkbride Strollers 5-1 at Metelo Park in a decent performance. Zlatan Izuhimovic, Bong, Miquel Oriol and a brace from van Diemen would render Noel Rumney’s goal for Kirkbride nothing more than a consolation as Totaal secured a six-point haul for the week.

please no, not again.
The manager of Bonkers was looking byond worried as he came to the press gathering after the second game of the week. "what was that?", was his question to the press?????? Indeed, he seems to be worried that the team is going back to its good old Bonkers style. The first of the game of the week may have only been a tame draw but was a briliant result for the team playing against a much stronger team. Then at home, normally a good chance ot win, they went and lost 2-3 against a similar team. one brilliant game, one poor game. Only Bonkers style. Lets hope they can keep in the league with this up and down madness.
Special Ones not so special
Absent coach bemoans lacklustre performances.
Ajtrader, now nicknamed the Tanned One, returned from his summer vacation to see his side remain on the same number of points as when he left. Two heavy defeats, despite setting the tactics before his departure, spelled meant crisis at the Division 2 club.
On the departure day the side were content sitting just above midtable, but when the coach watched todays Sky Sports News he noted the side hovering perilously close the the releagtion zone. The manager has backed his assistants coach choice in tactics that saw his start striker cropped and the lack of points.

A mixed week for Cony Tottee's St Omer side saw them win one, then lose one as they stay near the bottom of the table.
Cony once again will be looking to ensure all his youngsters get a decent update, but the crowd are becoming restless and expect to start seeing improvement in the results.

Classic 11 turned in 2 quality performances away at Red Holm Park and Theatre of Tragedy to beat Pokemon and Crimea River 0-2 and 0-4 respectively. The side are performing well and the manager hopes they hit top-gear sooner than later..The next game is against Rolling Thunder who are brushing aside every other side in the league and are in terrifyingly brilliant form..
A New Admin
I have been struggling for time recently to get online since my holiday and have neglected my admin duties a little.
Therefore I have taken the decision to hand over the reigns to DBYC.
DBYC did a good job previously and I'm sure will do an excellent job again.
I'll still be involved in the league however it willl be a behind the scenes.
Im sure you will all join me in wishing DBYC the best of luck for his new role.

Surprise Point
Arsenal Reserves picked up a surprise point as they drew 1-1 away against the champs Santos FC. I don't think anyone was expecting this result but Brown will be happy to get another point and keep close to the safety zone and keep the dream of staying up alive, for now atleast
Keeper blunder costs Milan!
AC Milan keeper Torricelli had a day to forget as he seemingly cost his side any chance of taking points from todays game against PSV. Torricelli had a mightmare game leaving in 3 of PSV's 5 shots and though the rest of the team batled on and performed very well it just wasn't enough to eclipse Torricelli's dreadful day in between the sticks.
Milan will be hoping things turn around soon when they face Juventus next.

Season 8 kit
Flare United have unveiled their official kit for season 8 just hours before their match against Gooners at the Sunburst Arena. The new kit, featuring a retro design, is red with green detailing, which will remind many of the Portuguese national team's kit.
"This kit incorporates all the colours of my home nation's flag. It is a tribute to myself, Malaysian and Portuguese players in the league, and most importantly, myself," said Izuka to reporters at the press conference earlier today. "When you mix blue and yellow, which is the top left corner of the flag, you get green, which I have used for the detailing. The rest of the flag is taken up by red and white stripes. The red I have included in the main part of the kit. The white? You can't see it but the whole inner of the shirt is white!" exclaimed Izuka before having his fittest players pull up their shirts to reveal their packs and the inside of the shirt.
"And now, the away kit, which I don't expect us to use at all this season," said Izuka as the rest of his players trooped in wearing the same kit in dark blue with orange detailing, with orange on the side.
"Finally, the first goalkeeper kit is the reverse of our home kit, green with red detailing, which the second goalkeeper kit is orange with dark blue detailing," announced Izuka to end the press conference as his four goalkeepers strutted in, two wearing the first kit, and the other two the second.

PatrikPatrik to leave Kensington Boys Cl
After a terrible start to the season the Kensington Boys Club called a press conference this morning to announce the decision to let coach PatrikPatrik go after this season. The board states that “We are incredibly proud of our club’s achievements over the years under PP’s reign but he has signaled that he is prepared to leave if this season does not provide him with an overwhelming reason not to. In the light of these current matches I think it is safe to say that both parties are united in the belief that change has to come.”
The manager himself has not been too outspoken in the last few seasons but seemed quite emotional as he spoke of many fond memories of the club and the league. He continued to say
“I won’t leave the club until this season is over and I won’t rest until this club is back on its feet. The lads need a change, I can see that. But we have a good relationship as well. The past three seasons have been downhill in many ways, both in this team and in the league as a whole but we’ve always shared the joys and woes of constant mid-table division 1 together and I’m sad to leave them.
I would never leave anyone behind and will ensure the future of the team until the final day of this season. “
KBC started as a rowing club before switching to football and joining the RMI in season 2. Back then the manager was mostly worried about his players having more econ in their townhouse estates than the club has ever managed to conjure up. But as time went, the Kensingtonians quickly achieved promotion to division 1 and have been a permanent fixture there ever since. PP started working for the division 1 community but after the league went through some dramatic events very little has been heard or said. Whoever takes over KBC will find a strong enough team with a good future in store and a great history to lean back on.

Mystery Owner Poised for Santos Takeover
Reports have come in that Santos are on the verge of being taken over. Ever since a controversial decision to issue public stock in 2008, shares have been remained stable between groups of ownership.
After title success in the last season, the club’s profile has raised considerably, prompting in stock share prices. However, it appears that 50% of the shares have been purchased, seemingly by a single entity. The club has remained quiet over the proceedings, refusing media inquiries regarding the ownership transfer. Players and manager alike are confused as to what will happen next. Santos News has 3 possible candidates as to the new owners of Santos FC:
The Russian Mafia: Various oligarchs have taken over sports clubs, from Abramovich with Chelsea, to Prokhorov with the NBA’s New Jersey Nets. One constant is there have always been allegations with their supposed ties with the mob. We think the syndicate are tired of hiding behind a single individual and want the world to know they aren’t typical hitmen who participate in tense affairs involving vodka, rubles, and death threats: they do so while watching football. Says a lower level agent, speaking on anonymity, ‘Santos are like first snowflake that you first taste, before you spray AEK-971 at bad man’
The Illuminati: Conspiracy theorists already claim that The Illuminati have taken over everything from the White House, to Apple Ipods designed to make the world their slaves. Sources say they further want to diversify by going for a top tier football club in a fictional game setting. Well played.
Elton John: After a brief ownership stint with Watford, the singer wants to make a comeback with the Brazilian giants. Plus, he likes the colour yellow.
Stay tuned for further updates.

Recovering!
After a poor first game Holgate Pathetic are finally pulling a few results together and have found their way into the early promotion positions. Its a more competitive division than Riverside Shep expected it to be which is making every game a challenge and promotion would be a real achievement. Shep has invested in a couple of older stars this season with a short term goal in mind so promotion has to be the goal.
Paddy Power
Gooners Manager FMR was left wondering what he had done to upset the Gods... until Henry's last gasp winner! A goal in the 86th minute slotted home by Henry and set up by Busquets was all that seperated the two teams in the end. Nine chances were needed by the men in red and white and FMR was the most frustrated man inside Highbury, pacing the lines like a lion hunting it's prey.
In reality though the Gooners put in an amzing dominating performance and the likes of Busquets and Overmars look as if they had always been part of the first eleven. The way Busquets has been playing of late, makes him seem like a completly different player... it is obvious FMR is trying not to over use the lad but he is not making it easy for the boss to leave him out.
There were many old scores to settle on the field... Adams, Vermaelen and Diaby are players that have moved from Highbury to Pop Punk Park... with Borja coming in the other direction. Boja it was to have the big chance of the game to make a statement and the normally clinical midfielder obviously found the occasion over whelming. It was then left to a fully recovered Henry to save the Gooners blushes, on the evidence of the start to their season you would have to assume they are enjoying the RMI... should the middle part of their season be as solid, you might start to wonder if they will be strong finishers.
FMR had this to say:
"Credit where credits due, Paddy has done a terrific job this season... considering their last season dramas. He has made the best of a bad situation and Pop Punk are certainly a hard team to beat, if I didn't know better... I would say he is out to prove a point. There is much talk of relegation from the manager but I dont think the Punk fans have much to concern themselves with on that front!
They have a very strong back line with the likes of Given and Adams, Given is a player we were interested in sometime ago and came close to a deal. He is the kind of player in my mind that could win you games, that you should not have won. With my current keeping headaches, Given would be a welcome asset at Highbury. Although Overmars was involved in the deal and if im honest.. im glad we kept him on. Overmars had a troubled start at Highbury but it is clear to see the lad is now turning into quite the player and has held average form of 17 all season thus far.
We wish Pop Punk the best of luck for the rest of the season and in all honesty, both Gooners and Pop Punk may need a little luck during this season. A little luck wouldn't go amiss in the next fixture as we face Flare United.... a dangerous time to face them I guess when the rest of the division has done a fantastic job of making them very angry.. they will surely be out for a win!
My main concern will be keeping the good forms we have and carrying them over to the Stanley game, although as always it would be nice to not fall too far behind the leaders as we may have a chance in the latter stages to produce something if we are still in the mix."

Milan lack goals!
AC Milan are prooving to be very much themselves and very much Italians at present, no goals scored again meaning no chance of winning. The strikers were hopeless underperforming again. The positives though was that the defence was very strong again and the very young and low skilled midfield held their own.

We're gooner get thrashed
Paddy Mckeever stated that despite his sides current lofty position in the league he expected a thrashing at Highbury today against Gooners.
"I'll keep this short and sweet as I think Diagnosis Murder is on shortly, but Gooners are a great side with a fantastic manager in FMR, we've only encountered each other in competitive matches a few times but I fancy them to beat us today, though if we do lose I hope for a better result on Friday. The more distance from the relegation places we can get early on the better it is for us."

need a win
2 points from 4 games is relegation form and it looks like manager CM will have to sign someone soon to bolster this fairly week squad. yes we are trying to bring players through but the fans want us to be able to compete. the glory of the cup seems a distant memory as the grim reality of how far behind we are has hit home for the supporters

Cumming slams Totaal dive as United held
A mixture of bad refereeing and good cheating on the part of Totaalvoetbal contributed to Flare United failing to pick up their first win of the season earlier this week. Flare United started off strong in the first half, much to the confusion of an overconfident Totaalvoetbal side who expected the current basement club to sit back and wait to hit them on the break.
Going in for a hard but legal tackle, Jeremy Cumming was left amused when Martin van Buren dove onto the pitch clutching his crotch when he had made only the slightest bit of contact on the Totaal midfielder's foot after winning the ball. Referee Laura Norder, however, bought Van Buren's act, which was made to look more realistic with Totaal manager RobinMeeblind quickly taking off the Dutch midfielder.
The outrageousness of the incident dampened the hosts' good start, though talismanic captain and forward Ernie Ormondroyd did manage to put his side ahead with a stunning freekick in the 39th minute.
In the second half, United finally decided to play into Totaal's hands when Izuka told the team to sit back and defend, believing that his team would be able to keep Totaal out. For most of the match, they did, and even created a couple of chances for themselves. However, the home side's hopes were broken towards the end of the game when van Buren made his way to the Totaal bench wearing a crotch cast. Cumming, for one, broke down and started crying, fearing that he had ruined the youngster's career.
The high emotional levels of the United players hampered their playing, and Raimundo Tena managed to slip a through ball to the offside Zlatan Izuhimovic, who played under Izuka at OAP Pop Punk. However, referee Laura Norder, busy staring at van Buren's crotch, again made a bad blunder, allowing play to continue and awarding a goal after Izuhimovic hit the side netting after failing to get past an alert Alex Bogefeldt.
All United's sympathy evaporated after the game, though, after Cumming caught van Buren with his cast, and pants, down in the washroom and hit the target with a well-placed left boot. The young midfielder then stormed to his team's dressing-room and raged at his team, who then proceeded to the dressing room to make it 11-0 to Flare United over Martin van Buren. As a result, van Buren has picked up a real injury and will be out of action for the next few days.
"That was a horrible bit of acting and refereeing. I've always said we should not have women as referees unless they have more qualifications than a fit body and skimpy referee clothing," ranted Jeremy Cumming to the press after the game.

Totaal Slump
Totaalvoetbal endured a frustrating week as games against Flare United and AFC Stanley yielded a total of just one point.
A trip to Flare proved a tough encounter as the home side decided on a no-holds barred style which immediately saw Marino van Buren go off with a nasty injury. Ernie Ormondroyd made things worse for Totaal on 39 minutes with a trademark free-kick to put the hosts 1-0 up. The visitors would take a long while to get going but created a couple of late opportunities. From one of those Zlatan Izuhimovic would finish confidently to rescue a point for the Oranje to the delight of the visiting fans.
Totaal would return home on Friday for a 1st versus 2nd match against old friends AFC Stanley for what would turn out to be one of those games for the hosts. They would create the majority of chances throughout the 90 minutes but a Garry Molseley goal on 25 minutes would ensure they would finish the game on the wrong end of the score-line.
Robin Meeblind was philosophical after the game:
“The game can go that way from time to time. We haven’t done too much wrong apart from our finishing. However, it is fair to say we have enjoyed luck go our way so far this season so maybe this was due. Markham deserves his win and it looks like the division is setting up nicely now.”

Bonkers manager goes on holiday
The crazy man at the head of the Bonkers franchise has decided that now is hte best time to go on holiday and is no off for a week to catch some rain and hail stones during hwat he described as the "best weather a man could ask for." So the team is left with their match preparations and they should be in good hands, i.e. not his.
Promotion place secured!
If only we had the end of the season now then the fans of the mighty Steaua Needarest would be in celebration that they have Division 2 to look forward to but alas there is still a large part of the season to go.
"I'm bloody well delighted that we are in the top three right now, and if it was possible to finish up here at the end of the season then I'm be more than pleased with that"
The Steaua PR manager quickly apologised for such a pointless PR.

Milan manager disgusted!
AC Milan manager Djoxy1983 was disgusted that his team only got a point from their trip to Yorkshire Terriers. Despite dominating the game the team just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.
Milan have been stuggling for goals of late and it was all to evident in this evenings game. One thing for sure is that the manager will be looking for a better result next against Bristol City.

A Point!!
Arsenal Reserves picked up another point as they drew 3-3 at home against the Thundercats. The game was top draw and full of twists and turns. Brown is very proud of his young players and the effort they put in.
In other news, Cédric Roussel is on his way out with an offer of atleast 5.2 million already been offered already and with a few days left until he leaves more offers might come in.

Seaman Stains Clean Sheets
Seaman once of Gooners legend... unbreakable, unbeatable a crowd favourite a true Gooner through and through. These were words spoken in FMR's first tour of duty, the problem was he sat out half the first season due to injury, a season which was his last chance to gain substantial increase in skill. In reality a careeer wrecking challenge that has meant he is not at the minimum skill required for the last two seasons.
Despite this he has put in some excellent performances and had Greatness won their last game of the season.. it would have been Seamans efforts that won Gooners their first silverware. FMR argues he has one of the best defences in the business minus Seaman, and is frustrated at the easy goals given away even in games they dominate.
This season he expected the problem to be even more apparent and was well aware of the lack of stopping power between the sticks before the season even got underway. FMR asked for funds during the pre-season but was denied by the board, it is a tricky situation now for the manager. He knows Akinfeev needs to play regulary to gain a bar that is on offer to every keeper each season... although at 6 skill he is not ready for this division, a decision needs to made soon as games pass by.
Akinfeev has plenty of special qualities and could be quite a player under the new DV guidelines.. Seaman is approaching 100 games and is either terrific or a liabilty. The number one Jersey was passed to Akinfeev some weeks ago, although FMR has given Seaman ample opportunity to prove he can reach the 100 mark. There is a third option in selling Akinfeev but that will only buy Gooners a season or two in an old replacement.... rumour has it that FMR is awaiting the next youth talent before making his decision. We think everything is pointing towards a possible last Season for Seaman unless he can find some performances of yester year.

Ted Tolley on way out
Rumours have been confirmed that striker Ted Tolley has been placed on the transfer list for an exuberant amount of money by manager CM after he decided to try his luck on the open market. CM said:
"Although I hate to see young talent leave, we could do with some serious cash to try and bolster the squad and Tolley would be the only player I am willing to let go. He is a great lad but has been a fringe player for us since we signed him and if we could get 6.5 million + it would be great business for us. We are just testing the waters with this evaluation and we will see what happens"

Cathalio - Good luck
Trader passes on his regards.
Cathalio, RMI champion and thoroughly decent fellow, has declared he is to part company with the RM Invitational. The self-proclaimed Irish prodigy has bailed out after getting humped by Blakeys Carthage boys recently, although he professes this was not a key influencing factor when making his decision to quit.
Instead the Kilkenny Kid has stated "study issues" as the main cause for his departure. The man has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to study shamrock kissing and Guiness drinking at the infamous Kilkenny Academy (say that after a few). He will be fondly remembered for whatever he did while he was here, mainly taking the piss and winding people up, and would be welcomed back with open arms (as long as the admin team doesn't change hands, again).
In all seriousness the manager, coaching staff and players at Special Ones MKII would like to wish all the success and good luck for the future to Irelands Number 1, Mr Cathalio!

Back on track
Barnsley Chop got back on the right track on Tuesday with a comfortable 3-1 home win against Kensington Boys Club with goals from Ronaldo,McEnroe and Ruben de la Red. They now look forward to tommorrows game away at Bully Boys FC." We are convinced we can get a result from this game". Manager Steve quoted
Maurice and Matthew
Maurice Jacobs has been a symbol of KBC since the start. Forever the captain since the first ever match played (3-0 away win against "Bully Boys").
But even now KBC have been have started to look for a natural successor and maybe it has been found in 19 year old younger brother Matthew Jacobs.
He was signed for an abnormal amount in a time in KBC history that is as dark as Maurice is ginger. But it is clear that Matthew has a great future and Maurice will certainly take him under his wings for the future.

Sean7 Relents, Plays Alshammar, Loses
A week after some dodgy pranks from revered legend Torbjörn Alshammar to gain playing time, Santos manager finally decided to give in to the forwards demands, and play him in an away fixture against OAP Pop Punk.
A career of 39 goals, a golden boot award to his name, and a set of hair that would put Jimmy Bullard to shame, what did Alshammar show for the game? He came out with no shots, a yellow card, a bad stain on his backside as the defenders left him on his arse for the 90 minutes.
It is remained to be seen whether the shampoo commercial striker will ever be played again this season. Reports indicate the other forwards are looking to shave Alshammar’s hair off while he’s asleep. It’s unclear whether the manager is on this as well. Stay tuned.

Milan victory comes with a price!
AC Milan won their gam against African Imitators quite comfortably this evening but the manager was more concerned with the injury to Quigley Addison who will now be out for at least the teams next 3 games and possibly more as he recovers and gets back his form.
It is quite a blow for Milan who normally have Addison as a regular but if there is atleast one place they have strength in depth it is in defence.
Milan who be hoping for a similar display against Yorkshires next.

Cath Leaves RMI
The first ever champion of the RM Invitational has today decided to call it a day with Bully Boys and the league.
'Wow, this wasn't a hard decision to make, my backside is still soar after today's rape but it didn't do too much to influence the decision to leave.
I have important exams to sit at the end of this year and already without the school year starting I haven't been able to log in as much and I have lost the will to set tactics because I don't have the time.'
'I will try to keep in touch with all of you and I doubt this will be the only team I leave. I'm not leaving this team because I like it the least, but because I think it needs most looking after, which I can not provide.'
'Thank you ever so much to Robin Meeblind, haven't met a more influential person on the site to me in my 1 and a half year stay in this league. Ha, even when I didn't know him, he delayed the start of the league so I could join, but my xpert rating never rose...He then had to go on but came straight to me to offer me the first team that was available, and that is why I owe a lot of my Season 1 success to him. He is the best admin on the site that I have come across for getting along with a single person and despite the league having a different admin, it will always be Rob's baby.'

Extremely talented, especially in building his teams and is a right pain in the backside to play against, a bit like Rob, Patrikpatrik and FMRealism...'
'Blakey :) Wasn't as active at the start but was always class, thanks for beating the shit out of me today! Another manager i'll miss in this league and I wish you all the best in your future with Paddy :) Tell the little one I said hi xxxxxxxxx'
'Oh and Paddy, came into the league quite late but really brightened the mood...we had our problems but we leave our friendship in this league and maybe on this site on a high. God Bless You Paddy!'
'Patrik >:( Patrik Patrik bloody Patrik >:( Give me a break would you, our rivalry was big, our games were a pain in the backside, i'm just happy in hind-sight that we drew the last one. I love you man and I can't wait 'til I play you again!'

'Dominic :) I don't really know what to say but you're a really good lad and definitely deserve a mention!'

Pop Punk brought down to earth
OAP Pop punks great start to the season came crashing to a halt with two heavy defeats in a row. First came the 4-0 thrashing by Thundercats and then a 4-1 thrashing by Totaalvoetbal.
Despite the defeats Paddy was not too despondent:
"We're just not being clinical enough and I've made some poor tactical choices. Its been a hard week, first we had to sack Habib Bowser, there are only so many chances I can give a player and given the fact he hardly ever scored goals or provided assists and then he went and got himself sent off I thought I'd rather work with strikers with a better attitude."
"The game against Totaal was actually a lot closer than the scoreline suggests, our lack of a free kicker and the fact we can't seem to take our chances really cost us but there is no shame in losing to sides of the calibre of Thundercats and Totaal. Up next for us is reigning champions Santos so we know its not going to get any easier. We just need to stop being so gung ho, take our chances and play to our strengths which at the moment is clearly in more defensive play"
On his sides relegation prospects Paddy said:
"I think we are capable of staying up, we've got one of the stronger midfields in this division and barring injuries our defence is more than capable. This is definitely a season of transition for us though so if we do end up relegated it won't be the end of the world. We're just looking to get as many of the youngsters to improve as we possibly can. In the long term that should lead to us having a competitive side"

Gooner Rue Missed Chance
Gooner boss FMR was left gob smacked when Baronchelli fired in a freekick to level the scores in the 42nd minute. Gooners own dead ball specialist Borja was on fire and netted two freekicks of his own early on, once Gooners had the lead FMR ordered his men to hold the advantage... but Baronchelli was given a decent opportunity and took it well.
It was an opportunity missed and the Gooners boss knows now keeping pace with Totaal will prove almost impossible during the early stages of the season. The whole of the top flight will be hoping both Greatness and Santos can find wins against the men in orange.
FMR had this to say:
"It is frustrating really, I always knew it was going to be a tough game especially since we were missing the experience of Henry up front... but despite that we got everything spot on and i feel we deserved the three points. Baronchelli is some player though and giving away dead ball opportunities is always dangerous when he is on the pitch.
We have some good players of our own mind and the two young strikers did a terrific job up front, and Borja contribution was simply magnificent. Koscielny had another decent performance and I think the plan we have in place currently is working well, these lads dont need so many games and with the budget we had I think both he and Arshavin have been perfect choices. Training is going well and this is the reason the likes of Wellington, Arshavin and Akinfeev have not played yet. We feel alot more comfortable when it comes to undersatnding DV and I hope we will see some excellent results come end of season!
Next up is a fixture against Charming, it is becoming quite a regular thing now! I said last season I wanted them to come up and it is a fixture that we always look forward to. They owe us one for the last time we met and we are keen to keep our good run of form going... I think this season we may have even out done Charming on variations of formations and tactics, so I am sure RDCM has plenty to ponder over. As I said I think our current run of form is good and I feel we are comfortable in this division, we have already landed some vital away points... there is a long way to go but we are enjoying the challenge."

Up and down week
Barnsley Chop had a up and down week firstly the bet West Brom Strollers 2-0 on our own stomping ground with goals from Higuain and McEnroe, but on Friday they had a 2-0 reversal at White Hawk FC with the back at the club Roberto Carlos making a shock appearance after been AWOL for over three weeks.
start
Our balance this year is three wins and a draw recently. That's a wonderfull start of the season and a good beggining of the track that leads back to the RM Invititional. But as our manager had experienced many times the season is long especially in this league and everyone can still be promoted with no problems!
Bristol City start well but face test
Bristol City manager Stevenson is happy with his sides start to the season but knows that this weeks away game against ALLORNOTHING will probably be the teams hardest test of the seeaon. 'They are unbeaten in the four matches this season and there form is good' the manager said. 'All I can hope is that we play the best football we can and we get some luck'.
solid
a solid week from bonkers sees them move into third place in the league, a good showing really. A unluck draw away and then having the africans in town assuring a win means that the team has had a solid start to the season with two wins, a draw and a lose. The tema is young so this is good going, they just have to keep up that youthful keeness going. Next up is a vist from yorkshire, they wont be charming our pants off, i hope.
Mauled..
Classic 11 were beaten down ruthlessly at the Cressex Arena..The final score was 7-2 and the home side were convincing in every aspect..Passatino scored a hat-trick and Bonavia had a excellent game at the back as he assisted in 3 of the goals. The manager wants team side to improve and packed his side off to the training ground immediately
Confidence Victory
After securing a well deserved victory against the Turin side. Kadri had this to say to the press
"Juve are a string side, fortunately we know a lot about them from last season. So that has its plus sides. The 3 points was important, if you start any season badly, more likely than not you'll end it like that as well.
We know we'll be relegation candidates so we just hope to get as many points as quickly as possible so weren't under too much pressure come the end of the season."

D-Ith-Picable
Scandal once again erupted today across the digital world of the RMI after footage appeared on Youtube of a seemingly innocuous chat between rising RMI managerial star Ajtrader100 and RMI managerial never-was Ithaqua which suddenly turned nasty. An anonymous source, believed to be ex-RMI malodorous managerial malcontent kilie_gers, posted the video in the early hours of this morning.
The footage from CCTV cameras around The Reccy clearly shows Ajtrader100 sitting on a low stone wall outside the stadium after an early morning Special Ones MKII training session. While minding his own business the Special Ones MANager finds his reverie is broken by the arrival of the Crimea River head coach, whom sources report had dropped by to finalise the small print of his impending move from Crimea River to the Special Ones MKII youth side. Or possibly a cup of sugar.
After a brief seven hour discussion the two managers clearly share a private joke and can be seen to shake hands. And then it happens. Crimea River head coach Ithaqua can be clearly seen furtively glancing both left and right before scooping up his rival manager and dumping him in a nearby wheelie bin and leaving at what could only be described as a brisk pace. Or slow jog.
As the scandal erupted River officials immediately issued a statement from the head coach
‘I cannot explain why I did this, it is completely out of character and I certainly did not intend to cause any distress to Ajtrader100 or his club.
‘It was a split second of good judgement that has got completely out of control.
‘I am due to meet with RMI officials and the police later today to discuss this matter further and will co-operate fully with their investigations.
‘I wish to reiterate that I am profoundly not sorry for my actions and that Aj has had this coming to him for some time now.’
And 14 hours later the whereabouts of the Special Ones MKII MANager are still unknown.

Ripped off
After earning their first point of the season at Kirkbride Strollers, Flare United were robbed of 3 more points when they hosted ThunderCats F.C in the following round. United will next host Totaalvoetbal, who have had a perfect start to the season, at the Sunburst Arena in hopes of getting themselves off the bottom of the league table.
Mixed start
Manager gulps a dose of realism.
Two wins and two losses, it spells the start of a roller-coaster season for Special Ones this term. With one of the most potent strike forces in the division scoring shouldn't be too much of an issue as has been proven in the opening four games, but in defence they are leaking goals.
12 Goals scored in four matches would be enough to delight any manager, the mouthwatering pair of Tuttle and Routhledge are considered two of the most promising talents in the RMI, but unless the backline can shore-up they will continue to disappoint fans expectations.
The manager has vowed to stick with the squad he has for the whole of the season, with only potential youth talents being accepted into the squad. So in the meantime fans will have to get their blood pressure tested regularly as heart attacks are likely to soar for fans of the Ones.

KBC lose again
Kensington Boys Club are used to be in division 1, always failing to claim anything higher than a middle-position but this season is something special. After just 1 point grabbed in four games they are next to last and the future is looking very bleak for the Kensingtonian side.
If this does not change in the next few matches, the board might need to look into the clubs future endevours and decide a course of action.

Another Defeat
Arsenal tried something new as they try every trick in the book to try and pick up some points. These Charming Men were too strong on the day and they deserved the points.
Back to the drawing board for Brown and his youth team, everyone is hoping they can pull it off and stay in the top flight

Manager under Fire
Holgate Pathetic manager Riverside Shep has come under fire for his close season holiday. Shep's lack of presence at the club meant pre-season training was too relaxed and the team have come into the season under prepared. Holgate have had a mixed start to the season however and need to start putting some good results together quickly if promotion is a realistic goal.

Times they are a changing
After what could be described as a rubbish start, the bed based team of the Needaresti's have seemingly improved their fortunes.
"Yeah we're delighted to actually have points on the board at this stage, have had to chop and change and will continue to tinker squad wise for the forseeable future, the signing of Ronado has the town and the mattresses jumpin' and hopefully we can get next or near the promotion spots by the end of the season."

Stunning Shirsh Spurs Oranje
Totaalvoetbal’s firepower enabled them to take six points out of two tough fixtures over the last seven days.
First up was an away trip to Splott which had added spice following last season’s encounter. A late goal had earned Splott a draw on that occasion and ultimately cost the Oranje an RMI title. Once more Splott would give Totaal all they could handle in a tight encounter. The opening goal arrived on 57 minutes with Pierre van Diemen heading home following good work by Antonello Ballarin. However, this would be a short-lived lead with James Granstrom replying in kind at the other end just 13 minutes later. Yet again there would be a sting in the tail to the contest but this time Totaal would benefit; Shirsh Vajpayee producing a stunning finish following a corner just a minute from time to deliver three points to the visitors.
Totaalvoetbal would return home earlier today to entertain OAP Pop Punk in a fixture which has gained a reputation for being high-scoring. Once more the teams would go out to attack and this resulted in a van Diemen opener on nine minutes. Vajpayee would add a second on 64 minutes and when Nicholaus de Bilde headed his first of the season minutes later the game was up for the visitors. Indeed, de Bilde added his second on 81 minutes after being set-up by the outstanding Vajpayee. Pop Punk would keep pressing themselves and duly got a deserved goal when Miguel Fabulouso finally beat Leemans in the home goal but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
Robin Meeblind refused to get carried away by his team’s start to the season, instead skipping his post-match press conference to go check on injured star Bosse Bong’s progress.

Milan Struggling!
AC Milan manager Djoxy1983 knew before the season began that it was going to be a very tough season ahead, especially with very little strength up front and the team being very low on form folowing the CR. But he didn't quite expect the team to get off to such a poor start that they have encountered.
Milan got a point from this evenings game but were fortunate to do so as they were on the back foot the entire game. A win against bottom of the table African Impossible is a must next.

"You'll Never Walk Alone" is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Carousel.
In the musical, in the second act, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the female protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, is killed during a failed robbery. It is reprised in the final scene to encourage a graduation class of which Louise (Billy and Julie's daughter) is a member. Billy watches this ceremony during his return to earth.
The song is also sung at football clubs around the world, where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters on matchday; this tradition began at Liverpool Football Club in the early 1960s and later spread to several other clubs.
Blakey0500 likes to call these copy cat clubs. 'tossers'. :)

Highbury Welcomes Top Flight Football
FMR has hailed his teams last performance as magnificent! Gooners notched up their first home win of top flight football against last seasons champions Santos, Kyle Lang was the hero scoring the only goal at a louder than usual Highbury stadium. It was a tale of two keepers, as Seaman attempted to rectify last weeks performance. He had extra motivation in the form of John Lukic, a player FMR had to sell some seasons ago, when the club informed the manager he had to sell before he could spend. It was Seamans that came out on top this time round, keeping a rare clean sheet... although Lukic performances of recent, are surely giving the manager plenty of food for thought.
Henry played made a rare appearence in midfield which seemed to be working well until his game came to an abrupt end, a scan later showed he will miss atleast two games. It was another major set back for the experienced striker and many are already saying he is destined to be a eight skill player. It is hard to argue when a look through the records reveals the player arrived at Gooners as a 25/8 and has been on the verge of turning nine for some seasons... and will soon see his 30th birthday.
FMR had this to say:
"Fantastic performance by the lads, yes we had home advantage and some fantastic support yesterday from the fans but we played toe to toe against one of the strongest sides in the league and held our own. I had a feeling we might see out first injury and I also had a feeling it might be Henry.. I have previously seen such instances where I played a striker in midfield with a resulting injury.
It means once again we are to face Greatness without a full compliment of players, it would seem it goes with the territory now... they are a team I would love to get a result against but again we find ourselves without a key player. I may use the game for DV purposes although it would be nice not to fall to far behind Totaal... so we will see.
It is not all bad, the preparation in pre-season has left us in a decent shape despite having just played two very tough games and Henry may also see some benefit from that come the end of season. The young lads we brought in have been training very well of their own accord, especially Arshavin who is beginning to see some decent averages, what is most pleasing is his form trend... why it remains so positive we are under no pressure to play him which is nice.
It was good to see Lukic getting the first team football he required and Santos will reap the benfits from that I'm sure, he looks like he is going to be a decent player. I know I must give Akinfeev the majority of games this season also, we need him to progress this season and obviously that is going to make life a little more difficult... he is also a player that does not take kindly to the bench, he will get his chance soon and will need to put in some above average performances. If he can perform as well as or out perform Seaman on a regular basis it will make my decision, alot easier..
I would also like to congratulate Keown on his 100th appearence, he has been a rock at the back for us and is a player very much deserving of the "Legend" title."

I would also like to congratulate Keown on his 100th appearence, he has been a rock at the back for us and is a player very much deserving of the "Legend" title."
nice
after suffering a post-cup winning hangover in the first game of the season, Splott got back to their best with a 5-1 win over Thundercats. the team have got the taste of victory again and won't fear playing anyone in this form. The fans are coming flooding back into the ground with recent performances as the goals have been flying in
Kensington
Wow, I have to try a of out on this I pod, especially now as not only the team but Cathal Brennans biggest rivals in the league host the bully boys today!
"I look at this fixture and groan, we have both had our fair share of wins against eachother and still it takes three times as long for me to set tactics against Kensington! Patrik is an incredible manager and his unlucky start to the season only damages my confidence. I look forward to it though as it is always going to be our biggest game of the season, good luck!"

Milan outplayed and outperformed!
Milan didn't just lose this evenings game, they were embarrassed. The manager wh is currently on holiday could only apologise to fans of the club stating that tactics had to be rushed as he would be away.
With this evening the only chance he has had to log on he sees the tactics were awful and the players were rubbish. Some changes are definitely in order and soon if Milan are to have a decent season.

Rubbish
St Omer made it two defeats from their first two game when they lost 2 - 0 away to FCR Cressex on friday.
Next up is a tough away game against Steaua Needarest and manager Cony Tottee knows his players have to improve if they are going to get anything out of this season.

Falling Out in the Forward Line?
Amidst the positive week for Santos FC, winning their first two games of the season, there are reports of animosity between the forwards at the club. Veteran striker Torbjörn Alshammar has asked manager for more playing time, rather than coming off the bench for Robbie Mitchell or Adriano.
Sources say Alshammar is keen to retain the all time club goal scoring record, with 39 goals in his career with the Santástico. Mitchell and Adriano are 2 and 3 goals back of this record, and with Alshammar coming towards the twilight of his career, he is keen to prove to others that he still has enough left in the tank to contribute.
When Adriano was subbed off during the FC Greatness fixture due to a shoulder injury, insiders say that Alshammar quickly gave the bruising forward a hard slap on the shoulder as an aggravation to the injury, disguised as a friendly gesture. He has also been seen near the team pantry mixing laundry detergent with Nutella, one of Robbie Mitchell's favourite foods. We could be looking at another Raul/Real Madrid situation of a potential legend wearing out his welcome. Stay tuned.

Horrid start for Flare United
A freak result in the first round of the season saw AFC Stanley pick up a fluke 6-1 win over United at the Sunburst Arena. United started well with Jimmy McGinnity scoring the first goal of the season in the whole RM Invitational in just the 1st minute of the match after some good work by Gabriel Islas. The hosts then dominated throughout the first half but could not find a way past the solid Stanley defence.
A second half red card for Joe Cole changed the whole game, as Stanley suddenly managed to find more space in the tight United midfield. They started to dominate possession and chances, and with Ernie Ormondroyd on the bench after a great World Cup campaign, there was no way United could come back as Stanley, having sat back and defended throughout the first half, were still going strong towards the end of the game and popped five late goals past Alex Bogefeldt, still tired from his own World Cup campaign where he pulled off near 200 great saves.
"This scoreline was a total fluke, it was way more than what either we or Stanley deserved. Hopefully, our World Cup stars will be in top condition before long and we'll be able to get back to our winning ways," said Izuka after the match.
However, it is clear that United's players are still not back to full fitness, as Bogefeldt was left out against the Arsenal Reserves and Dustin Moss allowed a tame shot from Faustino Asprilla in the 15th minute to creep past him. United would go on to dominate the game, but would be unable to find a way past the Arsenal defence, solid evidence that the United midfield and forwards are still not back to their best.
United next travel to The Bush to take on Kirkbride Strollers, where they will hopefully be able to put some points on the table for themselves.

Slow start
Barnsley Chop have made a slow start to the new season with a 0-0 home draw against the Legends in the opening game followed by a 2-1 deafeat away against AJ Rovers Manager Steve is not a worrying guy it will come right we could have had a point against Rovers but conceded in the 92nd minute but what will be will be.
Bristol City off to solid start
Bristol City have started off the new season in solid fashion with two wins at home against strong opposition. Having dispatched Alsancak F.C in the first game with a 1-0 win, they followed this up with a 3-0 victory against PSV Eindhoven. 'I am happy with the start so far and the fact I have been able to play a very mixed team to give the youngsters a chance. We have a tricky match against Juventus this week away but I am sure the players can put in a good performance'.
holgate = colgate
The Holgate keeper must have been brushing his teeth all afternoon before the game against Bonkers in the evening. The Bonkers strickers could seem to see the goal at all and missed it with far too much ease. This meant the Bonkers went down 1 nil in a tough long game. "good on them! But we should have at least got a draw! I, we, feel cheated!", said the manager after the game. But this improved game time by the Bonkers is good to see and hopefully they can keep this going.
A mixed week..
Classic 11's season got off to a poor start with a 1-0 loss to wortley afc at the western..Despite creating more chances the visitors didnt take them and payed for it severly..However the team regrouped and bounced back with a 1-0 home win against Anime Allstars FC...The home side created just the 1 chance but took it gratefully..Sir Linkinparkrocks hopes his side will do well against Ely City FC.
What The Deuce
Arsenal Reserves boss Brown was left speechless after he watched his side pick up a win. Brown never thought this team could take all 3 points in this league but his boys did the job and there might be some hope somewhere.
Sadly the win came at a cost as Fabregas has been injured and will miss a few games

Unexpected
"Not the loss, after I saw the 442, I dreaded a monumental thrashing! We went 523 to cover as many options as we could and give ourselves some form of hope. We certainly cant try to match the big two with five in the middle..
The unexpected part came in the form of the performance, we had four chances to their five, and all three strikers came away from the game with a minimum of 16 form, which means their keeper must have put in a good shift.
Laurent Koscielny came through the game well as did most players, except Seaman who is turning out to be something of a liability, very strange post game stats if im honest.... Next up is Santos and im sure the champions have no idea what to expect now... with three strikers on amazing form lets hope they can atleast find the net once between them if they manage to create as many chances as we did in the last game!"

Oranje Fire Early On
Totaalvoetbal enjoyed a bright week as season 8 of the RM Invitational league kicked-off.
The Oranje began with a tough trip to F.C. Greatness on Tuesday where they encountered a partisan home crowd looking for a big scalp to start their season with. The first-half would be a cagey affair but Zlatan Izuhimovic altered the course of the game just four minutes into the second with a fine breakaway goal. Greatness quickly levelled courtesy of a header from Fabio Cannavaro but it would be the away side who would continue to look the more dangerous. Eventually, they would get their reward with time running out as Izuhimovic got his second goal with an excellent header.
Following this victory Totaal would then entertain another of the promoted clubs in their home opener in the shape of FMRealism and his Gooners side. The home side would be hit by an early blow as Bosse Bong suffered an injury which will keep him out until early September. Nevertheless, the Oranje would regroup quickly and Izuhimovic continued his fine early season form with a clinical strike to open the scoring on 27 minutes. Totaal would continue to look dangerous after the break and Pierre van Diemen opened his account for the season with a poacher’s effort in the area. Izuhimovic would then complete the win by netting his second brace in as many games to send the home fans away happy.
Robin Meeblind cut a satisfied figure after the game:
“It’s no secret I’ve been having some time away from the game and for the players to start in this fashion is testament to their ability,” he began.
“However, it’s only two games and we have some very tough ones to come. Sean has carried on from where he left off last season and it’s good to see OAP up there early on, the club deserves a little success. I'm sure we will see many ups-and-downs over the coming months.”

Board Slams Manager
The PSV board have been quick to give Kadri an official warning after he forgot to set the team up for the match against Bristol.
The PSV coach responded by saying
"I dont care to be honest, it happens to all of us every now and then. I was expecting to lose the game anyway. Although I'll try not to forget again. Fingers Crossed

Milan cause upset!
AC Milan caused a massive upset this evening winning away from home 1-0. Milan soaked up the pressure but actually created more of the chances between the 2 sides.
It was a big win for Milan and now they look to entertain Holgate next at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Blakey wears womens underwear?
Speaking ahead of his sides match with Kirkbride Strollers, Paddy had this to say:
"We all know Kirkbride are a top side and we know Jazza is one of the best managers in the business so we're expecting it to be very tough to get anything from the game but I didn't bring you here to talk about that I brought you here to talk about Carthage manager Blakey"
"We took our lads to a lap dancing club recommended by Cathalio, I thought the lads could learn about flexibility and dexterity training from these girls but when we walked in we quickly realised these were no girls, they were drag queens! We had Kilie_gers with us as he was observing our squad as part of training for his coaching badges and also for his community service and as we went to leave realising our mistake, Kilie encouraged us to stay and watch the entertainment on offer. Having travelled for almost ten minutes to get there we reluctantly agreed and sat down to watch the show"
"Next thing I know a "lady" took to the stage in very skimpy lingerie, she was dancing and prancing about the stage and before I knew it "she" had come into the audience and was gyrating on Kilies lap! Thats when we all noticed who "she" really was, it was none other than Carthage manager Blakey! Rather than be embarrassed though when we noticed it was us, Blakey removed himself from Kilies quite aggressive sexual advances and made his way over to me. Blakey kept trying to get me to go for a private dance where according to him I could do whatever I wanted to him in exchange for a tactics report on These Charming Men. When Blakey started groping me myself and the squad hastily exited the building and went home."
"The police have informed me that given all the photographic and video evidence of the incident we have, most of which was kindly provided by Kilie_gers, that I'd have an excellent case against Blakey which would most likely result in his imprisonment. I thought long and hard about it but I've decided to let the matter drop. After all Blakey has enough problems with his rubbish side and the mounting pressure from the clubs fans to finally achieve promotion. Plus we find the pics of Blakey in women's underwear brilliant for making us laugh when we come off the pitch after a bad result."
"I have offered Blakey the number for a good counsellor for his problems, which was provided to me by Kilie_gers. I'd also like to publicly ask why Cathalio would recommend a lap dancing club full of drag queens? What stuff exactly is the Bully Boys manager into? maybe that division is full of sexual deviants. I think more division 1 clubs need to follow the example of Kensington Boys club and behave with dignity and respect for themselves and others"

Poor
St Omer manager Cony Tottee was disapointed with his sides performance during their 1 - 0 defeat at home to Anime Allstars FC. Omer dominated possession but never looked like scoring and suffered the heartache of conceeding a late penalty which cost them the game.
good start
An amazing 3 goals from 6 chances (much better than anything we ahve seen in previous seasons) saw Bonkers hold off a improving Milan by 3 goals to 1. This made the manager slightly happy, a good start is a good start, no? Next up is a tough away game against those colgate pathetics...hmmm...shiny teeth......hopefully Bonkers can play some football away from home this season. who knows, if that can happen maybe there can be some good season progression.
Sold Up the River?
An opening day 0-0 draw against .sopranos. may have given Crimea River their best start to a season for three seasons but the match was not one for the purists featuring only a solitary chance on target over the 90 minutes.
As is typical for the tiny Crimean side much of the controversy surrounding the club occurred after the final whistle as rumours surfaced that dapper Special Ones MKII MANager Ajtrader100 had made an official approach to Crimea River about the availability of the provincial sides head coach Ithaqua.
While River have yet to officially comment on the rumoured approach for their used-to-be-funny head coach sources within the club suggest that the club board may well be interested in thrashing out a deal.
