Yorkshires Amateurs recorded their first victory in nearly a month with a fine win at Estádio do Deus against Santos FC.
The game was extremely tight with just three chances apiece but it was the arrival of Ian Taylor from AFC Pop Punk who made the difference as he pulled the strings in midfield.
With the need for experience evident in his young side Danlufc13 has added three older players to his ranks in the last three weeks in the hope of pulling off the great escape.
A win of this magnitude gives the Amateurs just a glimmer of hope in their fight for survival but more of the same will be required in their remaining fixtures.
