Cruelly denied a jammy victory, courtesy of a disallowed goal, over wortley afc in round 10 Crimea River found themselves cruelly denied a deserved victory, courtesy of a missed penalty, over wortley afc in round 13.
And, just for good measure, picked up their 4th defensive injury in 5 games. Nice.
Mikael Silvestre edged the home side in front on 21 minutes before wortley created just enough chances to grab an equaliser on 26 minutes courtesy of Jasper Marshfield. Not-at-all-injury-prone Gael Clichy picked up his second injury in five games on 45 minutes which still left time for Alan Smith to make history as the first man to put a football on the moon with his 50th minute penalty effort.
40 more minutes passed. Nothing else happened. Honours even.
