West Brom Strollers ran out 3-0 winners against Goals Aloud to maintain their 100% start to the season. The result sees them 2 points clear at the top and leaves Goals Aloud bottom without a point or a goal.
West Brom could have been out of sight in the first half hour but squandered an array of chances.
Strollers had to wait until the 33rd minute before their pressure finally told, a towering header form 'Super' Bobby Taylor. It was more of the same after the break and in the 53rd minute Cyrille Regis scored. It was Taylor again in th 76th minute, another header from a fantastic 60 yard cross field pass from Darren 'Big Dave' Moore.
A tougher task awaits Strollers in the next round as they take on Tropical Thunder under their new manager Hardino and the players will be wanting to impress their new boss.
Manager DinkyDave commented 'it's another good win, in what will be a very tough division to get out of. I'm looking forward to next round i've got a lot of respect for their gaffer and wish him well with his new team, unfortunately somethings got to give though, our 100% record or Tropical Thunders unbeated run - It should be a good game'
