Stanley lost influential captain Oliver Trower for the next 3 matches following a serious injury in yesterdays 2-1 defeat to FC Greatness , despite taking the lead Stanley looked a different side from recent weeks and never got going against a well organised Greatness side.
Manager Markham said " It was just one of those days yesterday and hopefully a one off , we could not string 2 passes together and kept losing possession , from scraping the post with a header from Kaskinen which would have made it 2-0, Greatness go down the other end and equalise then there winner is a miss-hit which could have gone anywhere but found the back of our net , i knew then it was not our day. Take nothing away from Greatness they are a good team with a good manager and seem to be our bogey team at the minute
