Reggae Reggae Sauce get much needed win!

Reggae Reggae Sauce travelled to Marseille for the 9th game of the season in the RM Invitational. Things didn’t start well for RRS when Lettuce Man was booked in the 9th minute. James Wade also got booked in the 37th minute which meant the teams went in for halftime at 0-0 with Reggae Reggae Sauce leading 2-0 with bookings.

Bernardo Almeida was booked in the 74th minute for Marseille and RRS got the chance they perhaps deserved for their superiority regarding chances in the second half when they were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute. Sure enough when Noel Mawson stepped up he converted the only goal of the game for RRS to win 1-0.

Manager. Xpertelevener said to the press “I am relieved after this game with the win, at half time they had 60% of the possession and you don’t often not concede when you only have 40% of the ball. I’m pleased we got in at half time without conceding. But at half time I told them what I though and we went out and had equal possession with Marseille and had a lot more chances. Overall I’m pleased with the result."
