French Fried
Yorkshire Amateurs recorded a solid 3-1 victory over Marseille at the Thorp Arches. The Amateurs led 2-0 at half time thanks to goals from Amadeo Caviedes and Hans Riegler. Gabriel Mohan ensured the three points were heading back to Yorkshire but Marseille did mount a late rally with a goal from Alejandro Junior. Marseille are one of the top sides in the RM Invitational having won the title the season before last and manager Danlufc13 will surely have been delighted with the manner of the Amateurs performance. Although early in the season the Amateurs have made a solid start and they will hope to gain ground on Thundercats FC in their next match. Their opponents next time out are a youthful St Omer side who have already beaten the champions this season and a difficult game is surely in prospect.
