We managed to catch up with AFC Pop Punk manager Paddy Mckeever ahead of his teams game with Totaalvoeatbal and we got him to assess his teams chances:
"They have a better defence, a much better midfield and a much much better attack than us and though we have the best goalkeeper in the world in Shay Given its going to be tough to keep them at bay"
"I've only been at the club for five minutes to its hard to change the whole infrastructure overnight, with the stadium, training ground and team Totaal have they are pretty much setting the standard that we have to aspire to, hopefully season upon season we can get closer to them until one day we'll be considered title contenders in our own right but with a whole host of fantastic teams with fantastic managers its going be tough"
We then asked Paddy what he thought of his opposite number RobinMeeblind:
"I know everyone is of the opinion that he's this great guy and a fantastic manager but its all an act, he's actually one of the sickest most evil people I've ever met! He once kicked a baby in the face all because it was wearing a Vikings shirt and I remember his dog didn't sit when he asked it to so he put it in a cannon and shot it at a bus full of orphans. Also he's not a great manager but admittedly he's a great dictator, during the season he kidnaps the players wives and families and only allows them to seetheir families if they win. I once saw a player disagree with him and one of his armed guards beat the player so badly the only club he was any use to was the club sandwich as he had to get a job working at Greggs the bakers!"
"If it wasn't for all those sick evil things he's done we probably wouldn't be friends!, I think the world of RobinMeeBlind and plan on sharing a drink with him after the game whatever the result, I just hope we can somehow gain something from the game but I'm not too optimistic.
I'll be looking to Jean Luc Picard to play some enterprising football and boldly go where no Pop Punk player has gone before by scoring the winner against Totaal"
