Totaal Blossom at the Garden

Totaalvoetbal put in their best performance of the season to leave AFC Stanley shocked 4-1 at Garden Street.

A match that both managers always look forward to was fuelled by the fact both teams had enjoyed good starts to the season.

However, both have also slipped of late and were in need of three points to get their season moving in the right direction once more.

Antonello Ballarin and Cal McMac would ensure the game started in explosive fashion by netting from their respective side’s first chance.

Indeed, Ballarin would add another glorious strike before the break to give the visitors a priceless lead.

They would build on this in the second 45 minutes when William Ralph Dean and Miquel Oriol netted fine efforts to set the seal on a terrific 4-1 win.

Robin Meeblind was purring with his side’s display:
‘This is simply how I want them to play every week,’ offered the coach.

‘We were brilliant. Not much to add, every one of them brilliant.

‘I feel for Markham33 as we have enjoyed some good battles in differing leagues over the seasons. It’s fair to say his players didn’t turn up for him today but he’ll sort them out no question.

‘I look forward to welcoming him to Metelo Park for the return fixture.’
