Yorkshires Amateurs managed a good point against an excellent Santos FC side. Santos will feel they should have won the game having created six chances to the Amateurs one. A goal from striker Antony Wallwork had given the Amateurs a shock 1-0 half time lead but Santos showed their class in the second and deservedly equalised.
We now reach the halfway point and the Amateurs must start grinding out victories if they are to have any chance of beating the drop.
