Underdogz will survive!

Underdogz United look likely to survive in the top flight after a decent week in which they pulled off a successful win against fellow relegation strugglers Tranmere. The week did not start off too well as Underdogz United went down 3-1 at bogey team The Vikings. United managed to hold The Vikings throughout the first half but Eaglesrjh must have given his squad a good halftime roasting as the hosts came out with all guns blazing.

Within minutes, Vassilis Papakostas had given the hosts a 2-goal lead, both from corners, as he converted a 46th-minute Thorbjörn Lind corner and then headed a Paraskevas Maladenis into the back of the net in the 49th minute. In the 53rd minute, Evstathios Gourmas then gave the hosts a 3-0 lead as he received a pass from Colin Crouch and shot home from inside the area. However, Izu Casillas managed to score a consolation goal from the spot for the visitors in the 62nd minute.

Casillas was then the lone goalscorer in the next match against Tranmere as he converted a late penalty to give Underdogz United a 1-0 win at Prenton Park. With manager Baz78 having moved to champions ThunderCats F.C, Tranmere look to be in trouble of relegation. Meanwhile, Sanity Clause are still 11 points from safety while Hun Haters, who next travel to Underdogz United, remain winless after 13 games.
