Kirkbride Strollers lost a 2 goal lead away at defending champions ThunderCats to draw the match 2-2. This draw virtually hands the game to DinkyDave and his West Brom team. Strollers found themselves 2-0 up with about 15 minutes left with goals from Ellison and the revelation of the season Stephen Robinson who has bagged 14 goals from midfield this season.
Manager Jazza1958 said after the match " We would normally be happy at getting a point at ThunderCats but we knew if we had any realistic chances of winning the lead we needed a win and to lose a 2 goal lead was particularly disappointing. We play West Brom at The Bush next week and will be looking to continue our 100% home record and at least take the title raced into the last week of the season. I am not conceding the title yet but am very happy if we can maintain our top three position until the end of the season"
