Going into this match Mighty Mojos were looking to bounce back following their dissapointing away defeat to Rolling Thunder. As for the visitors well they were looking to add to their impressive win over wortley afc.
As the action got underway it was the visitors who took to the task quicker of the two teams and soon made advances towards the Mighty Mojo's goal. After a few wasted chances It was the visitors who broke the deadlock in the 20th minute. Dustin Wotton's crisp pass finding Zacharias Ashe who chipped in a great effort from close range. Morley Town F.C. were now 0-1 up and starting to controll the game the home side though were more then still in but were forced to make a change before the break as Grigory Kunitsyn was tacken off from a resulting poor tackle but it was Morley Town F.C. going into the break with the 0-1 lead, the first half belonging to the visitors.
After the re-start Mighty Mojos looked much more orginized and started to get back into the match. Joshy's halftime team talk must of been a good one and just before the hour mark equalized. Alf Gall's fine cross finding Timotei Buta who scored for the Mojos making it 1-1. Mojo Areana was rocking and the home fans seem to lift the home side who started to take the game to the visitors following the equalizer. Late on and the Visitors had a golden chance to retake the lead after being awarded a penalty. Dustin Wotton stepped up but was unable to score much to the home fans delight. 2 minutes later and Mighty Mojos made them pay the ultimate price as Justino Perreira set up Abraham Axhorn who scored a brilliant long ranged effort making it 2-1 to the Mojos. As the clock ticked down Mojos were on course for 3 points after coming behind but the visitors were not done yet and late on Art Boyle saved them as Dustin Wotton atoned himself by claiming the assist making 2-2 in the 89th minute. It finished 2-2 and after the match Joshy had this to say...
" It was a poor first half by us despite some chances. The second half was a brilliant half of football by both teams we showed we can duke it out with the big boys and Morley Town F.C. showed us why they are chasing promotion and we both had chances to win the match. Once again a promotion chasing side has failed to over come us home or away so far since i took charge and the players have to take a huge credit for that each time we face a promotion chasing side they seem to just step up to the challenge and deliever the goods. Up next is Jammas AllStars who haven't won since the opening day of the season but no game is easy and we look to build on this great result. "
