back to winning ways

After the disappointing draw against Reggae Sauce, Splott bounced back with a 6-0 drubbing of St. Omer and then a narrow 2-1 win against a dogged Lone Wanderers side.

Carbonmonoxide fielded a couple of young stars for the future in Denílson and Nightcrawler against St. Omer and both scored with Denílson, who was apparently poached for next to nothing from Underdogz a couple of seasons ago, really catching the eye with a stunning hat-trick. If this guy keeps improving the way he has he is going to be a superstar for the club in a couple of seasons.

It was harder work against Lone Wanderers, who set their team up to frustrate - and they nearly nicked a point, but luckily Ravage - another talented youngster - scored the 2 goals to win the game, and should've had a hat-trick if it wasn't for a doubtful offside decision by the linesman.

Up next is Juventus who on their day can beat anyone and then a possible top of the table clash against These Charming Men which could end up being a title decider if results go well for both teams.
