Town News
Morley came back from a goal down to hand wortley their second defeat of the season, it was a win that keeps Morley in the hunt for promotion and also closes the gap on wortley at the top of the table. Only four points separate the top four teams and with four games remaining Morley need to stay focussed in every game.
It took a stunning free kick from Angres Kafka to complete the comeback and win the game for Morley, wortley went ahead on 18 minutes as Santos headed in Rai Kike's cross, Morley levelled from the spot on 44 minutes, captain Reno Robredo elected to take the penalty himself and he duly converted to send the teams level at the break.
Morley looked the livlier of the two teams after the break and there pressure told when a wortley defender gave away a free kick in a dangerous area, Kafka stepped up and hit an unstoppable shot passed Gareth in the wortley goal, Morley shut up shop after that and neither side created a meaningful chance and Morley ran out winners.
Next up is a trip to the Mojo Arena to face Mighty Mojos.
