With this pr coming out of The Lone Wanderers, Robin Meeblind took time out of responsibilities with Totaalvoetbal to answer comments made about his reporting of recent weeks.
‘First of all the quote from HH doesn’t make full sense but I think we all get the implied meaning. My comment was that ‘a top three position might be beyond them this term’ made on 30th November.
‘I take it the same manager hasn’t been reading the reviews since then where I have reported that ‘his side have every chance of forcing their way into the promotion mix’, quoted HH himself the following round and only last week said ‘a strong run to the end of the season will result in promotion.
‘Still, I’m happy I’ve fired his passions and that the undoubtedly talented manager has started to do just that, manage his side with talent. Maybe, they could even win the title....
‘Anybody care to rule it out?’
And with a smile and wink Meeblind was away to prepare for a home match against Santos where he is expected to ask Sean7 about his secrets when dealing with the ladies.
