Profligate Amateurs remain top

Yorkshire Amateurs goal difference again sees them stay top after their second consecutive draw against a stubborn Villareal side.
Villareal set their stall out to defend and even with their set up of ultra defensive they did manage to score with their only foray into the Amateurs half. The Amateurs were on level terms quickly though but were then unable to score the all important second. There is no question their last two games were eminently winnable, being against sides in the lower half of the table.
With away games still to play against sides in the top four manager Danlufc13 will be hoping he does not look back on these two games as pivotal moments in the promotion campaign. Next up are Kensington Boys Club who will be aiming to make amends after their shock defeat at the hands of AC Milan. It is a game neither side can afford to lose.
