Elusive manager finally tracked down!

Viking Land News is delighted to report it eventually managed to catch up with Vikings manager Eaglesrjh for more than a very quick word.

In the past Eaglesrjh has been Strachan like in his press responses, when we asked for a quick word he said "Velocity"

This time there was no escape as the reported broke into the office and barracaded the door!

"right you" screamed the reporter "our readers want more than just a few snippets from you, so you will answer my questions"

The manager was visibly shaken but soon recovered his composure and agreed to a more lengthy interview.

R. Ok, firstly why have you been hiding from the press recently?
E. I'm not hiding, i've been busy leading the team, we have got to third in the table if you hadn't noticed!

R. Well lets talk about that, how pleased are you with the teams performance this season.
E. Well i'm disappointed really. If you cant tell i'm being SARCASTIC!, of course i'm delighted with the season so far, much better than expected.

R. To what do you apportion this good season.
E. Managerial tactical brilliance!

R. Players not important?
E. They have shown good facility at implementing my tactical prowess yes.

R. Are you serious?
E. Of course not! The players deserve huge credit this season, if anything i've been ok tactically but they have pulled it through.

R. So a push for the title?
E. Dont make me laugh! We expected to be fighting relegation this season so are delighted to be where we are but the whole idea now is to make the club stronger for next season.

R. How do you feel about Ahlm's announcement of his retirement.
E. Melker Ahlm has been a terrific servant for this club, his retirement was not unexpected as he had found it hard to find a place in the team this season, we wish him all the best for the future.

R. How about other things happening in the league? do your admin responsibilities hinder the team at all?
E. 3rd place, end of comment on whether i can mange the team adequatly! As for other duties, i've really enjoyed taking over from RobinMeeblind whilst always being thankful that he's still here helping out.

R. Does it not affect you that theres been some mangerial changes.
E. Sadly managers come and go, all that have left this year have left for their own reasons, not one has had an issue with the league. It's always sad to lose managers but we have had some great managers join the league too.

R. Recently theres been some tension between new manager Solongsuperman and league assistant Izuka recently, do you have any comment?
E. I thought this interview was about the team?

R. Oh come on!
E. Ok then, storm in a teacup really. A little misunderstanding at the start and i'm sure all the press stuff now is just friendly banter.

R. Really.
E. Yes, Izuka loves some good banter and by the looks of it solongsuperman does too, long may cracking pr's be coming from the keyboards of both managers.

R. Expecting any fall out?
E. yes, any day now I expect Izu to rename his team to Kryptonite United or something!, seriously though no, a bit of friendly banter is great but dont really think there any malicious edge! Sure they will be friends in the end!

R. do you think you will need to step in at any point?
E. Not really, they both know the limits, and know the big dog is around if necessary! lol
