Thats Gooner hurt

Going into this match Gooners were looking to confirm themselves as league champions after a string of impressive results promotion looks set for them, the visitors Mighty Mojos were looking to bulld on their 3-1 victory over Jammas AllStars.

As the action got underway the home side soon started to create chances and play the style that has got them where they are today. MIghty Mojos in the early stages soaked up some strong pressure from the home side. Mighty Mojos defence was holding out and they even looked dangerious upfront themselves Gooners were given a few warning shots from the mojos but for the first 45 minutes the visitors kept the Gooners at bay.

The second half soon shaped up like the first half and Mojo's were starting to look like a tough nut to crack. So cue a Gooner ledgend, Dennis Bergkamp answered the call and gave the Gooners the lead on the 55th minute via a Marc Overmars acute pass. This proved to be the huge turning point in the match as the visitors were to find themselves 3-0 down in the space of free minutes. The madness continued on thr 57th minute when Kevin Campbell made it 2-0 from another Marc Overmars pass. Just one minute later and Iain Wright's corner kick found the head of defender ace Lee dixion who made it 3-0 to the Gooners. Joshy watched on staring into space he looked lost in thought. 11 Minutes later and Iain Wright made it 4-0 this time Robert Pires's tidy pass allowed the French man a long ranged effort on goal. Clearly beaten Mighty Mojos still carried a thret going forward but Buta was kept very quite the lone striker was well guarded throughout the 90 minutes and it finished 4-0. After the match Joshy had this to say...

" Up until the 3 minutes of madness we were doing fine. We hit the self-destruct button and it was gameover for us. Gooners are a fine side and we did well to hold them at bay for 55 minutes and i think strongly that Gooners will do just fine in division 2. Up next is our last match of the season as we host FCR Cressex who have hit some form at the end of the season so it should be a good match to end out on. Now i look forward to the end of season team review. "
