Gooners lost their first game of the season infront of a packed home stadium, They always looked like they were still in the game until the ref sent Sol Campbell off for an early bath. Things went drastically down hill from there! All is not lost as wortley also suffered defeat which means everything is as it was before except they have one defeat recorded in the stats.
The manager has promised to resolve the issues that lost them this game and rather than drag out the loss he has said that the record (17 games undefeated) is an excellent one and now plans to better that. No one in the Gooners camp is sulking and the next game cant come fast enough. It will take more than one defeat to stop the momentum they currently carry into the end of the season. Wortley can expect their toughest challenge yet and Gooners will not settle for anything less than a win.
