Round fourteen saw another exhibition match with more flowing football from Gooners, the fans are in love with this new manager and at the club plans are already being drawn for Division 2 domination. There is still much work to be done this season and the title is a real priority. If for no other reason than to balance the books at the club but the manager is confident going into the business end of the season that they will be just as good against anything Wortley or Dream Team can throw at them.
The gooners scout has already been seen at many of the divison two sides grounds and the manager has been quoted as saying:
I already have my targets from the board which is automatic promotion next season. I knew this was a high pressure job when i took the reigns, this is a team thats not happy to hang around. Most important thing will to be to keep the lads together if we can do that im sure we can upset many more teams by acheiving that goal next season. Hence you will have seen our scout doing the rounds so we can make ourselves ready for what lies ahead. The fans here have massive expectations and we must continue to deal with that and continue to produce exciting football also. Many may see this as arrogance but we are just a very ambitious side, who want to compete at the highest level.
In other new from the camp "Sonny Baron Spell" has quietend his critics by out scoring Shilton in the last game bringing his average goals to a decent level but the manager will continue to look at his performances game by game before making a decision on his future.
