Another win, Another Injury

Wins seem to be coming at a cost for WBS this season as they continue the pattern with a 3-1 win over Tranmere Rovers and an injury to Darren Moore. Thankfully the injury is not as serious as the ones Billy Bassett and Bobby Taylor suffered in previous matches.

The match itself was a decent spectacle, Tranmere stating their intention by packing the midfield in an attempt to quash the WBS threat.

Strollers got off to the perfect start, after just 5 minutes Lee Hughes bagged his first of the campaign.

Tranmere hit back just before half time to even things up.

WBS turned up the pressure after the break and re took the lead on 63, Regis netting from a corner. Things were put beyond all doubt in the 83rd when Robson hit a sublime free kick into the net to make it 3-1.

After another convincing performance from WBS fans will be wondering just what they can achieve this season.

Dinky was slightly critical of his team though " i'm pleased with the win, but we need to start putting some of these easy chances away, it could have easily been 6 or 7 today. There'll be matches when we only get a chance or two so we need to sharpen up on our finishing. I'd be a fool to complain after a win though and on the whole it was another good team performance"

Strollers face AC Milan away on their next match, looking to make it 5 wins in a row,
