Villareal CF today completed the signing of 21 year old Martn Darby from New York City.
Many people were surprised to see this happen but manager Cathal Brennan told us why he signed him:
"He isn't one bit of a waste of money because if I can get good stuff out of him this season he can be very good. We have made signings like this before that have paid off like Petter Lundin and Rafaele Di Muri so I say it will work out. It is a risk but there is a 25% chance of failure!
