Vikings sneak point in hard home game.
The game started brightly for the Vikings and Papakostas saw a 6th minute effort saved by the keeper. This was the only effort of note in the first half.
The second half was a slightly brighter affair. First of all John Part shot over for the sauce in the 48th minute. Papakostas then tried to round the keeper in the 52nd minute but the sauce keeper got to the ball. Tassiopoulos then missed with a 56th minute effort as the Vikings pushed but could not break through. The Vikings were made to pay for this as Reggae Reggae Sauce got a chance at the other end and Orasan headed home in the 58 th minute to give the Sauce the lead. The game changed in the 68th mimute when Part caught Papakostas with an elbow, this cost Papakostas a bloody nose but he played on but it also cost Part a second booking and off he went. it looked like Sauce would hold on until a 90th minute corner saw Ahlm arrive late at the back post a loop a header into the net for an equaliser. 1-1 full time.
Eaglesrjh said "hah just my luck to get RRS when xpertelevener is back on form and managing properly. Hopefully he will continue to do so and others will find the sauce as hard to play!. Next up is a big game agains Villareal and a positive result could go a long way to promotion this season."
