Bore draw leaves Vikings uninspired!
A goalless draw at home with AJ Rovers was not what the doctor ordered as the Vikings continue to be in a bit of a slump.
The game actually started brightly. AJ Rovers had a chance as early as the 1st minute but Robers' toe poke was easy for Raasch. More troubles for the Vikings next as playmaker Gourmas was taken off with a serious injury. Portway then had what was to become the Vikings only chance in the 21st minute but the Rovers keeper made the save. 0-0 half time, 1 chance each.
The second half was all about 2 freekicks. both to Rovers but Vickerman sent the 49th minute one over and the 74th minute one wide. rovers then suffered an injury to Simon before Papakostas picked up a needless yellow card that will keep him out of the next game. 0-0 full time.
