Cathal Brennan today said in his press conference that the next few games will decide if Villarreal will be promotion contenders when they get onto the homestraight.
"Nobody can argue with the record we are holding at the moment and are spirits are high aswell. Our last loss was against this very team and we are determined not to lose on Friday.
Our next 2 games are against our 2 closest contenders for promotion, The Vikings and Kirkbride Strollers. To be honest I am in a bit of a muddle with setting tactics for our game against the Vikings and of course we are aiming for the win but I say a draw will keep the ice cream on the cone.
We were very happy with the performance against Man United and I feel that brings alot of confidence to the squad for our game against Kirkbride Strollers next Tuesday.
But first up are The Vikings and we are hoping to return what they did to us last month!"
