Totaalvoetbal manager Robin Meeblind was in a relaxed mood ahead of today’s clash with AFC Stanley as RM News caught up with him earlier today.
A 3-0 success over Santos FC on the back of a 2-0 triumph over ThunderCats has seen relegation fears ease around the MVB Arena.
Johan Juffing, Pierre van Diemen and Cal Beardsley netted the goals in the latest triumph with Meeblind happy the goals have been spread around:
“Obviously delighted with the win and with the clinical nature of our finishing,” he began.
“We have got a goal from the defence, midfield and forward parts of our team and that makes us a big threat. We hope to continue with this.
“The recent wins have eased the fans’ nerves somewhat and it is hoped we have turned the corner. In honesty that is what we would have hoped for when we had our side back to full-strength.
“What we have to do now is continue our run. That is easier said than done with Stanley our next opponents. They have done well against us recently so we’ll all look forward to welcoming Markham and the challenge.”
