amazing second half

The new manager stretched his muscles today, especially those ones in his lungs. They must be very large. The team came out and were surprised by the tactics that confronted them. They played badly and let in a couple of soft goals. The goalkeeper was having a nightmare of a game as well. So at half time they could consider themselves lucky to be level at 2 all. Then at half time everyone could hear the manager giving it to his players throughout the stadium. He is loud. And effective. The second half saw a totally new team out there. They dominated the rest of the game and lead by a captains performance the team walked away with the game winning easily 7 -2. So they are sill leading the table with half the season left. There are a couple of teams playing well in the league and chasing them hard so the manager has these words to say at the end of the game, "Come on boys, for playing like a bunch of lunatics you can run back home!!! Prepare to run, RUN!!!!". Most live 10 kms away in the rich leafy suburbs. and the manager and training assistants made sure everyone did as well. Some tired players now. Lets see what happens at the net game???
