Rocastle Shocks Gooners

Rocastle the last signing by Gooners of the pre-season has been missing from the squad due to lack of match fitness. The Gooners medical team were asked last week how bad his fitness levels were and they replied if we were to scale him from one to twenty i would give him three. After the coach saw him in training he also said the player wouldnt be ready until the third round and gave him extra work in the gym.

Today Gooners players went for their last medicals before season kicks off and the team were astonished how quickly Rocastle has recovered for a player of his age! The level of his fitness is now ten after one training session.. ten is the minimum required by FMR for a player to make the squad and as his reward Rocastle has now made the bench for the first round.

The coach said that this is a massive boost to their season and Rocastle has shown massive desire to play already which is fantastic and shows he has a true Gooners spirit, When he arrived the medical team scored him a two in fitness the turn around is like nothing i seen before especially for a mature player. The rest of the players are reaching peak fitness and hopefully we should encounter no unforseen problems.
