Yorkshires Amateurs continued their wretched start to the season with a 1-0 defeat against Real Madrid. The breaks are not going for the Amateurs as they matched their opponent’s chance for chance but a goal for Pasi Lintu ensured it was fellow new boys Real who continued their excellent start to the season.
The Amateurs may feel a touch of déjà vu as the last time they were in the top flight they had a real problem scoring goals. The Amateurs have not scored now for three games and they must arrest this slide against White Hawk FC in their next encounter.
It is perhaps too early to start talking of must win games but the game against White Hawk FC is shaping up as a genuine six pointer.
There will be no panic just yet though as manager Danlufc13 knows they have had an extremely tough start with 3 away games out of their first four games against high quality opposition.
