Totaalvoetbal followed their opening day success with a 2-2 draw at Santos in a fine contest.
Santos have been troublesome opponents for Totaal over recent campaigns and so a point was well-received by all at Metelo Park.
Things had looked bleak early on as Rogerio Franca shot the home side in front and they might have added to that by the time William Ralph Dean had nodded Totaal level.
Both sides had further chances in a fine advert for RMI football and the tension continued after the break.
It looked like Santos had struck a crucial blow when Robbie Mitchell hit a stunning free-kick home but the hosts were then to be their own worst enemy.
Benicio Correa was senselessly sent-off for use of the elbow and Totaal made their extra man count as a Pierre van Diemen header ensured a point apiece.
Next up for Totaal is a trip to former champions, ThunderCats.
