Burkhart’s strike adds to frustration

Whatever anyone says about Tottenham no one could ever accuse the club of being boring. The new season is only 180 minutes old and already Semso Glavina has ‘come out’ about his Jelly Babie fetish, Blaz Halilovic has described his employers as "a joke" and I’m sure Pavo Kirin has received a kick to the head from his own manager. The last of these was unintentional, but accidents seem to keep happening to Tottenham.

"Ever since I've come to this club I've realised a lot of people are out to get us," continued Huddlestone. "If there is anything strange or bad that happens it seems to go everywhere. It's been tough. Some of the things said and written have been hard to take. You read things about the lads that you know aren't true, but we have stuck together and tried to focus on what we can do on the pitch."

Two games in and still no points to show, which according to ocs18, is simply not good enough. "It was a good performance, but a missed opportunity," he said. "We showed more than enough to prove we'll cope at this level, but I want to do more than cope."
