Magnificent Seven

Town News

Morley continued their excellent form with a totally dominant win against an inexperienced St Omer side, Arnautu opened the scoring on 13 minutes at The Five Percent Stadium, Velez's corner found the unmarked Arnautu who made no mistake with his finish.

Velez and Ashe both went close with headers before Kwekeu managed to get his toe to von Sydows driven corner, it was enough to divert the ball past Zacharias Rain for Towns second. Velez almost added a third but his shot cannoned back off the post, Kwekeu was more fortunate though with Morleys next opportunity, his miss-hit shot trickled past Rain for his second and Morleys third.

The second half was much less eventful than the first but is was still all Morley, Pennock and Kwekeu missed opportunities and Munzberg was unusually wayward with with a free kick, by the 90th minute it looked like that Morley had settled for a three goal margin but a 92nd minute corner saw Ashe grab his 5th of the season with a header.

Morley face a trip to the Sauce Bottle Arena on Tuesday to face Reggae Reggae Sauce where they will hope to continue their impressive form.
