Another 1-0 loss and Kensington Boys Club are down in the bottom of division 1, coach Patrikpatrik – have you any comment?
“Nothing that isn’t obvious. Division 1 is a tight division - historically almost ridiculously so. Teams usually end up with just a 7 point gap between promotion and falling down to division 2.
But if we want any buffer zone at all come mid-season we can’t lose any more games this early. Otherwise we will be stuck in a must-win anxiety before every single match. We need to loosen up, play the football we know we can and just start to produce points.
To say that our competitors already are slipping away is certainly exaggerating this early on, but the squad is slipping away from our thought of the game and they lose form. We need to kick ourselves in the backside whilst relaxing at the same time.”
