Mckeever slams side

A an absolutely livid Paddy Mckeever slammed his side after their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Carthage

"Luigi may be my polish cousin who is a damn fine plumber but he is also a moron of a footballer! He deserved to be sent off and in general him, Madeley and Mcdonald really let themselves and the young lads down. Mcdonald in particular had a debut to forget and I'm really not happy with him at all. The fact Ad Herbal scored the winner despite being tightly marked speaks volumes about just how badly the older guys under performed. There is no shame in losing to a great side like Carthage but I'm just unhappy in the manner of the defeat, wasted chances and basic errors cost us!"

Mckeever was even less kind about striker Savo Milosevic

"He's a waste of space, I had dropped him only to change my mind after his form in training but I won't be making the same mistake again, he's not once done well since signing for the club and frankly I'm sick of it. I'd ship him out of the club if I could but I can't. He just offered absolutely nothing up front"

Mckeever did have kinder words for a few of his players though

"Handez kept us in the game today and though Ling and Delph didn't have great games they are young and they can be happy enough with how they are developing, I expect a much stronger performance from the older guys that don't get dropped against Splott on friday! I think my older guys should look to emulate Ray Goddard who never puts a foot wrong!"
