Totaalvoetbal’s season has stalled following a draw and defeat over the past week.
Kirkbride raided Metelo Park last Friday for a 1-1 draw which did neither side’s ambitions any good for the remainder of the season.
Billy Maneater’s header cancelled out Shirsh Vajpayee’s earlier strike and Jazza will have been the happier of two coaches after gaining four points out of six in the two clashes this season.
Totaal followed this game with a lacklustre display in a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United earlier today.
The visitors never got a grip on the game and their cautious approach would not pay dividends as they endured wave after wave of home attacks.
Cristiano Ronaldo would net the winning goal on 84 minutes and this was followed by an injury to Cees van Nisterooy which looks certain to end his Totaal career.
With Rex Rimmer also rumoured to be surplus to requirements there might be a different look to the Totaal side in the near future.
