Going into this game there was a lot at steak. Both managers having a point to prove following their previous and most recent encounter.
As the action got underway one thing was clear it was going to be an all or nothing type of match as it only took 5 minutes for the first goal of the match. 1863 Munich taking the lead via a Raphael Dearden pass to Stéphane Aoudou in a swift breakaway move as he was able to find the back of the net. 0-1 down but never out well at least not yet for it only took MIghty Mojos 3 minutes to make things all sqaure when Darius Mossley found Phillip Williams after some clever set piece play to make it 1-1. Not even 10 minutes on the clock and already both fans were treated to a thrilling match. As the tackles went flying in and time passed by both teams were locked in a real match far more intense then their previous encounter but in the 27th minute the home side took the lead making it 2-1. Alvin Dideah finding Abraham Axhorn from a wonderfull pass has he headed home from close range. Not even 5 minutes had passed though before things were all even again as in the 31st minute Turlough Daly found Paolo Ballotta from a corner kick and finding the back of the net Mighty Mojos failing to clear their lines. But like before this game was going to have another goal dissallowed and again Mighty Mojos were to suffer as late on in the first half as the home side made it 3-2 only to see the ref shaking his head.
After the re-start 1863 Munich might of thought it lucky to be all sqaure at 2-2 at half time. However football has always been a game of two halves. The second half will be a half to forget for Joshy as his side fell apart. In the 53rd minute Paolo Ballotta finding Eliott Malloy in the six yard box who was able to apply the finish giving the visitors a much deserved lead in the second half. The game was put beyound Mighty Mojos in the 73rd minute when Alvin Dideah summed up the home sides second half when he out foxed his own team mate to score a own goal and making it 2-4. Late on in the 84th minute and 1863 Munich made it 2-5 this time Fabrizio Gualtieri finding Elitt Malloy in a superb breakaway goal.
After the match a honnest Joshy had this to say...
" You could of said we were unlucky going in at half time only 2-2 when it could of been 3-2. It might of effected the second half half however that never happened. our first half preformence was good but our second half one was a horror show. The lads were simply off key in the second half we gave the ball away far too cheaply and 1863 Munich punished us. Despite that Phillip Williams never deserved to be on the loosing team he was great today for us the only player to shine in the second half "
