Splott Rover's are pleased to announce the signing of Clyde Henderson from Div 3 side Jammas Allstars in a surprise move. "When I heard Splott were interested in me I jumped at the chance" Henderson told the press. "The possibility of playing Div 1 football next season was too tempting and in the end it was an easy decision". Manager CM confirmed the player had been signed on a pay as you play basis and was not yet match fit but would play if circumstances dictate. "We have signed Henderson as he has a good record of 3 goal in 5 games for Jammas and he brings a bit of experience and leadership to the squad. He will get the chance to play but right now we have to focus on getting the lad fit. It's up to him to prove he is good enough to play at this club and that is the challenge I have set for him"
The focus now turns to the game against Belly Tubbies, whose manager has not been seen for a while and is rumoured to have abandoned the club after an alcoholic fuelled bust-up with his players.
