Marcus Spillane has retired from football half way through the season. After a second consecutive injury occured against 'These Charming Men' it was the final nail in the coffin for the 10 skilled Veteren of Carthage FC.
At 36 Years old Spillane was always going to end his career this season. he stated 'It's a shame i have been forced into early retirement but i have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Carthage FC and consider my achivements to be a great success.
Carthage dropped points at home for the first time this season thanks to Spillane's injury and a dodgy referee giving away pens.
Blakey0500 is still optimistic of Promotion and will surely bounce back at home to Los Samgeles Kings.
