Manager Paddy Mckeever has today revealed the incentives he hopes will drive his squad on during a successful season
"Pretty much everyone in our squad is either of pension age or too young to remember life before football was all about the money. So we've come up with an incentive scheme for our squad where they can choose between the win bonus of a cup of Ovaltine and a packet of Werthers originals or some Pokemon Cards and a bottle of Panda Pop. The choice is theirs but we're hoping this will significantly aid our promotion push"
Mckeever also announced the clubs new deal with Stenna stairlifts enabling their older players to navigate the tricky steps to the dressing room meaning Mckeever will be able to actually give a team talk to his whole squad rather than having more than half of the squad spending the whole interval of every home game barely managing to get up the stairs just in time to go back down.
