Last Game Of Pre-Season

Gooners played Reggae Reggae Sauce in their last fixture before official proceedings kick off against PSV. It was an easy game for the Gooners and the game ended 4 - 0 in their favor. Henry grabed two which will give he confidence going into the next game but the real star of the show was Cesc Fabregas finally getting his elusive goals after coming close on many occasions. The young 6 million pound signing scored with two fantasic diving headers to get his first goals in a Gooners shirt and we expect there to be many more in the future, always looking dangerous and always pushing on in attack he looks a fantastic sining for them.

Seaman picked up a slight injury but Akinfeev managed to complete the clean sheet and Gooners will hope Seaman is ok for the seasons first round tie versus PSV. The big guns were left out and only made the bench, obviously being rested. Adams had another good game and looks set to make an impression on Division two this season. For Reggae Campbell never made the team and we are suspicious they never set any tactics as only two subs were picked, Campbell must be fuming at not taking his chances at Gooners and has a very uncertain future ahead of him.

FMR was said to be unimpressed with the lack of effort on Xperteleveners side and would have liked to have seen Campbelll atleast make the empty bench! and hopes he puts more effort into the league! The reason given for Rocastle not playing was lack of match fitness and he will be ready for the third round tie. The season looks a tough one and Gooners have a strong mentality, they are certainly contenders but have they stepped up that gear from last season? Interesting times jus around the corner....
