Title Despair at Totaal

Robin Meeblind saw Totaalvoetbal’s title dreams finally end yesterday as they were given a footballing lesson by Santos.

He met with reporters afterwards:
‘I’m disappointed naturally but we haven’t been good enough over the last three to four weeks,’ opened the coach.
‘Sean and Santos gave us a lesson and I’m pleased to see they are safe following the win. In my opinion they shouldn’t be down there.
‘What we will do now is see how our change goes and then perhaps make one or two changes. What I want to do is actually have some money going into next season. Our lack of funds has hindered us no doubt.’
Meeblind then offered congratulations to Eaglesrjh:
‘He’s done a fine, fine job. Just before the turn of the season he embarked on a run that saw his side never headed. He fully deserves his success but we’ll be there to challenge once more next term. I’m looking forward to it already.’
Finally, Meeblind did take time out to speak about the latest findings of Kilie in this morning’s press:
‘He’s like a poor-man’s News of the World isn’t he? Delving deep for scandals and running with them without a second thought to this marvellous league's reputation.
‘I’m sure Eagles will be able to explain all in time. I just want to make clear that Nobbin....I mean Robin Meeblind was at no such elderly home, if it even exists other than in Kilie's warped mind.
‘I think since Kilie has set eyes upon me he sees images of me wherever he goes. It’s natural, I’m a good-looking man and Kilie is, deep down, only human. I hope he can get help before it becomes embarrassing for us all.’
And with that Meeblind was gone.
